Our commitment
Weirding Way Media wants everyone to be able to listen, read and use this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, or magnification. This is part of what "equal opportunity" means to us as a network. It extends to how people reach the shows, not just who gets to make them.
Standard we follow
- The site is built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
- Text transcripts are provided for episodes where available, inside the episode page.
- Colour contrast and type sizes are checked on every page, every control works from the keyboard, and the audio player has text labels and keyboard shortcuts.
- We test with keyboard navigation and screen readers as the site is built.
Known limitations
We're a small, independent network and this is an ongoing effort, not a finished state. Not every episode has a transcript yet, and older show notes written by other people may not always describe their images. If you hit a barrier (a missing transcript, a control that doesn't work with your screen reader, low contrast somewhere we missed) we want to know.
Tell us about a problem
Report an accessibility issue to info@weirdingwaymedia.com. Tell us the page and what happened. We'll get back to you and aim to fix confirmed issues promptly.
