Welcome back, Midnight Viewers, to Buttons, Switches, and Consoles. This is the one you all get to hear. This is our look at low-tech, old-tech, no-tech. Oh, my God. It's the greatest tech of all time.
This is actually the one you've all been fucking waiting for. And here to do it with me, Laura Grillo. Say hi, technology maven. Hi. Hello.
Oh, hello. Hello. It's an ecological disaster. No, don't even start. Listen, we are going to be talking about it.
Shh. We're going to be talking about hackers today. It's the granddaddy of all hacking movies. It's the one that still stands up. It's the one that pretty much everyone has seen.
It's the one that actually influenced real hackers that are working to this day. This is the one they all fucking love. Do they? Yeah. Here's the trailer. world they inhabit.
Dave? Yeah, Mom? What are you doing? I'm taking over a TV network. Finish up, honey.
Get to sleep. They're hackers. Hackers penetrate and ravage private and publicly owned computer systems. Hack the planet. Hack the planet!
It's not just something they do. Sure this sweet machine's not going to waste. Are you challenging me? Look at that! It's who they are.
I win. You wear a dress on our date. And if I win, so do you. They can crack any code. And get inside any system oh mr gill according to our records you're dead.
I'm what but this time come here look at this it's. Some kind of virus unless five million dollars is transferred to the following account i will capsize five oil tankers they just hacked the wrong guy game's over whoever wrote. This needs somebody to take. The fall he's about to commit the perfect computer. Crime you We've created a virus that's going to cause a worldwide disaster.
And they're about to take the blame. A hacker planted the virus. It's the perfect cover. Don't move, you know it! Looking in frames.
Can we be allies? I don't play well with others. Oh, wow, we are fried. Okay, let's nail it. you're not good enough to beat. Me yeah maybe i'm not but we are they're the only ones who can prevent a catastrophe.
I know how to stop this guy they'll trace you like that are you nuts come at me. Unlike any the world has ever seen never send a boy to do a woman's job hackers of the world unite cops on the building i need more time. This is the end my friend united artists welcomes you to the new world. Please! Hackers.
Hackers was released on September the 15th, 1995. Directed by Ian Softley with a screenplay by Raphael Moreau. Starring Johnny Lee Miller, Angelina Jolie, Fisher Stevens, Lorraine Bracco, and Matthew Lillard. Anyone else you want to mention? Mark Anthony's in it.
Oh, that's right. He's an undercover agent. Yeah. I want to mention Andre Sakula did the cinematography here, and he does really great handheld work, and I guess that's on evidence here as well. Anyway, box office of $ 7.
6 million with a budget of $ 20. Nevertheless, it is a cult classic at this point, a crime thriller. Our first sort of big-budget, first real look at what was attempting to be going on in the world of hacking, at least, I don't know, some sense of the community that was going on out there. Whether or not they succeeded in showing what the real world was going on, I don't know. As a fantasy world, though, I think it works pretty well.
Laura, what did you think of this movie? I've watched it maybe 15, 16 times. I'm sensing you enjoy the film. What's not to enjoy, you know? Whether it's ridiculous or not, whether I know how to rollerblade or not, which I don't.
But do you have lots of leather? I don't even think it's leather. I think it's more of an art of like a blend or maybe some sort of. Pleather? Yeah, you know, I think that's what they were doing there.
Motorcycle jackets for everyone. Nobody rides a motorcycle. This is the story of Dade Murphy. Zero cool. That's his hacker handle.
This is introducing most of America, the idea of hacker handles. This is, as I said, 1995. So this is the first time really everyone is getting on the internet. Were you on the internet? I know.
Because we did the net, and I think it was the same year, actually. Yeah, but I'm going to keep asking the question every time we have an internet. And no matter what the year is. I was so impressed by what they did. I think some of the stuff actually rings true, honestly.
Like the payphone stuff. I don't think they came up with that. No, that was Captain Crunch back in the Bay Area in the late 1960s. When the telephone companies moved over from the mechanical world sound to actual touch tone sounds to control the system. The sound that allowed you to make a telephone call from a pay phone could be replicated by a whistle that could be found in a box of Captain Crunch.
So one of these, his name was Captain Crunch because of that. He never paid for a phone call ever. He would just pick up the receiver and blow that whistle into it and just call wherever in the world he wanted to. So this movie took that and created it as if it was a big hacker thing. Exactly.
It is a big hacker thing. It's a sort of hacker legend. So in that regard, they're paying homage to hackerdom of the... Of the yore? Yes.
Hacker mythology. Yeah. Anything that happened 10 years ago might as well be in cuneiform and inscribed on a wall. I love this movie. It's ridiculous.
I love it. When did you see it first? Gosh, I can't even remember. Was it in the theater? I don't think so.
I don't think so. Then it was on that new digital realm of VHS tape, probably. Probably. Or just, you know, how those movies were played over and over and over again on HBO or WHT or something. Yeah, once TBS got their hands on it, it was all over.
Run that into the fucking ground. Do you like this movie? Okay, here's the thing. Much like... The movie we discussed over on the Patreon channel, Johnny Mnemonic.
This was the time period where I was slightly hooked up in Los Angeles in the movie industry. And I had friends who were all aspiring filmmakers. And it was really easy to get your hands on screenplay. And this one I got my hands on. And I thought it was hilariously terrible as far as what it was portraying as an actual community in the world.
Because that's what they're doing here. You know, hackers by nature are very solitary humans. They rarely hang out. But this is positive that there's an underground subculture and a cyber delia fucking lounge that they can hang out in. So I thought the script was hilarious.
And then I saw the movie. Now, I like Ian softly. I'd like the movie Backbeat, that sort of early Beatles movie he had done before this. And I'd like some of the visuals. But overall, I remember just fucking hating this movie.
I just hated all of the characters. I hated all of the fucking intrigue. I hated the fact that the lead character, that Penn Jillette. I bet he did such a good job. He does do a good job.
But it was one thing after another just bothering me about this movie. And I don't know. And I have not seen it since, which is a failing on my part because I should have given it a second chance because it's a lot better than I remember. It's actually a pretty good movie overall. Okay.
All right. I got a little more swept away by these characters and their problems. I still have massive problems with the movie, though. Of course. I mean.
Its name is Lorraine Bracco. Oh, is that your big problem? She's usually the main problem of anything she's in. Oh, that's not true at all. She's amazing in Goodfellas.
That's the one. And that's because Martin Scorsese. She was amazing in Sopranos, too. Yeah, but that's, you know. Do you want to hear my really bad Lorraine Bracco impersonation?
Oh, man, I want to hear your Lorraine Bracco so badly. Why did I ever trust you? It's basically me talking like myself, but just a little slower and more pronounced. A worldwide ecological disaster? She's ridiculous.
And it's so fun. I love it. She can't talk fast, too. Even if it's a really stressful time, she's like, Eugene. Cancer?
So bad. She tries. She tries to speed it up, but she can't. She has a thing. I know it's a terrible impersonation.
No, it's the best impersonation I've ever heard of Lorraine Bracco. She's so cute. You know, she's ridiculous. You don't have a problem with Fisher Stevens in this movie. His facial hair is.
This is the greatest he's ever going to look, Fisher Stevens. No, that's not true. Oh, I think so. Fisher Stevens has gotten. I think the outfit he's wearing, the hair, the beard, the skateboard.
By the way, he's gotten. So much quality pussy throughout his life. He doesn't need that. But he looks like he's going to blow up or shoot up a high school. Here?
In this movie. No, he doesn't. No, no, no. He looks like a total douche. I think that's by design, but that's what I like about it now.
That's what you like about it. Okay. All right. At the time, I thought, what a douche when the movie came out. And now I'm like, right on.
He's doing his thing. Well, some of his lines, never fear. I is here. It's really, yeah, it's a tough, tough place to be. Did you ever see My Science Project?
No, is that? You might want to see My Science Project. Okay. But all right. That's not what we're talking about.
No, but it is tangentially related. Yes, he's quite hilarious in that, actually. And that's a bizarre little movie that we should probably cover here because it is about tech. We probably should. Okay.
To be continued. So who's your favorite, aside from hot Angelina Jolie? Is there anyone else but Angelina Jolie in this movie? I hadn't noticed. You're serious?
No, of course not. She's kind of an apple head here. Oh, she's... Her haircut is amazing. I'm not saying nothing against her.
I'm just saying... No, I know. She seems youthful to the point of I don't find her hot because it seems like a kid to me. Because you're not allowed to say it, but you do anyway. No, I'm...
No, no. It's okay. I'm not judging. Listen, lady. I...
Never mind. I don't need to justify myself to you. But speaking of hot, The mom. Now, that's funny. It's a total smoke show.
We're talking about Johnny Lee Miller's mother in this film. Yeah, yeah. When she walked on screen, I forgot Lorraine Bracco was in this film. And when that actress came on screen, I went, oh, man, she's like a talented Lorraine Bracco. This is great.
Oh, that is, that is ecreligious. But she's more than just talented. She was hot. Super hot. Super hot.
Like, full on hot. To me, she reminded me of the moms, the single moms that have to do it. Sort of like Lucille Russo. In Karate Kid, yeah. They're the unsung heroes of these movies.
They're the backbone. If you're going to have a young high school protagonist, he's going to have to have a strong single mom in order to make it through. One who will fight him most of the movie, but then step in right when it's necessary. Yes. And defend them, yeah.
She was great. She was great. But the part when he was talking about how he was a virgin... That was the biggest lie of the movie. I was like, no way.
No fucking way. It's Johnny Lee Miller. Did you know that Matthew Lillard got quite far in the process as Dade Murphy? No, I didn't know that at all. He, in fact, screen tested as Dade Murphy.
He read against every other character as Dade Murphy for, you know, personality tests on screen. And then out from under him, they cast Johnny Lee Miller and they said, you can do this other part instead. Serial. Serial killer, yeah. Yeah.
He's amazing. Yeah, absolutely. He's a young actor here, and he's really fucking going for it. He really did, and I loved every second of it. And that's what's great about Matthew Lillard.
He never not went for it. He never took the biggest bite possible. Yeah, he's adorable. However, restrained Matthew Lillard is also really good, and had he been Dade Murphy, I think I would have liked the movie a thousand times more. Oh, you're just looking for the underdog now.
No, because the character is supposed to be the loser in this group. That's how he's written. He does cool things and shows that he's more skilled than them. Why? Because you read the extreme play that he did?
No, no, no. No, no, no. I'm not saying that at all. But it just feels like that. It feels like they made him this sort of outsider.
And then at a certain point, he's like, I can't do anything, guys. I've got a record. I'm not going to like... Like, you know, it just seems like it. Listen, if you're going to problem with Johnny Lee Miller in this movie, then any... when anybody with eyes would have a problem with Angelina Jolie, she's like, they're perfect.
They're beautiful people. But I'm just saying I would have responded to that. Looking at Johnny Lee Miller, I don't see any fucking flaws in that guy. Like you said, I don't believe he's a virgin. I don't believe he would be socially awkward.
I bet he would walk into any, anywhere he walked into, he'd be like, I'm here now. And everyone would say, yay. So as the sort of lovable loser who went to, you know, prison as a fucking young boy and, You know, has been sheltered and cut off from the world. Matthew Lillard's the obvious choice. I don't think he did time as a young boy.
He should have, though. And speaking of doing time, I was really worried about Freak in jail. That was a harrowing scene, that walking him in. That scene really went for it. And I was like, what are we doing here?
Why are we doing this? I agree. Why set up that threat in our minds? He's in high school, you know? And those men are just, not even vaguely, they're miming, I'm going to strangle you.
Yeah, or all the other things. All the other things that were actually going to happen. And I didn't want to think about that, you know? And that, to me, is the fundamental flaw with this movie. And this is having read the screenplay.
That was the fundamental flaw? No, no, no. Having read the screenplay at the time, having read all the screenplays at the time, the great trend in Hollywood was we need teenagers who are edgy and extreme, right? Why are these kids high school kids at all? Just make them in their fucking 20s.
They behave like they're in their 20s. They cast a bunch of actors. Yeah, just, it is because I don't need to see Joey's ass and not think, well, I'm looking at a fucking 15-year-old boy's ass right now. Matthew Lillard, 17-year-old's ass, you know? It becomes a little weird.
I don't know why he showed his ass. That was unnecessary. That's because Matthew Lillard wanted to show his ass. It's the reason Jolie pulls her shirt off at every fucking opportunity. Oh, no.
She was directed to do that. You think she was directed to unzip her thing when she jumped on him that time? Of course she was. No, no, no. Have you seen Angelina's work at the time?
She was topless at all times. It was not. I saw Foxfire. Naked in Foxfire. She was not naked.
Yes, she was. That would have been... Okay. You act like these actors that are so young have agency, but they don't. You know, they were directed to do that.
So you're wrong. I'm not saying they're... I'm blaming the filmmakers. I'm saying, why are they making them teenagers if they're going to sexualize them to this degree? Why do I need to think about the child in prison about to get raped?
No, I didn't like that either. That's what I'm saying, but that's part and parcel with all of the shit. No, I think you were anti-Angelina Jolie taking her shirt off, but we never saw any nipples. No, you asked why Matthew Lillard... Showed his ass, and I said it's the same reason she showed up.
No. Yeah, those two things. I don't think, I don't know. Hmm. Who's wrong?
Who's right? Only God can decide, you know? That's my password for everything. That's your password. I love Lorraine Bracco.
She's a handsome woman. Remember when all hackers on deck kind of thing? Yeah. And the first hacker that they found would look like David Stewart from Eurythmics. That was weird.
That was good. Oh, and Urban Dance Squad was in. Remember Urban Dance Squad? I remember them. And their record.
I know. It wasn't that good of a record. But, you know. Do you have this soundtrack? It's a pretty good soundtrack, actually.
No, I do. I stereo emcees are in it. I recognize a lot of the songs. It is. The soundtrack.
Here's the actual title of the soundtrack. Are you ready? Yes. Hackers. Their only crime was curiosity.
Original soundtrack album. Aw. So what do you think of Mark Anthony in the movie? He's good. I like Mark Anthony.
I liked him in Bringing Out the Dead. He's really good in that. The Scorsese film? Yeah, I haven't seen that. I want to see it.
I know, I know, I know. I'm going to. It's really good. Yes, I'm going to see it. I'm a fan.
He's a good actor. Yeah, I liked him a lot in this. I don't know why he's even in the movie. I don't know why we're getting. There are so many perspectives.
So many scenes, too. He's just like wandering and doing nothing. I like that. Yeah, it's a nice reminder that the police are involved. Did you feel bad for the detect, the FBI agent?
With all of the cruel hacker jokes. Hacker jokes where he's, yeah. Did you start feeling bad for him at all? Not really. I did a little bit.
Because he's the authoritarian figure and they must be stomped out because hack the planet. Oh, gosh, yeah. Have you ever watched something and then chanted in unison that wasn't Rocky Horror? I don't think audience members chant when they watch this movie, though. Do you think?
No, but I'm just saying when they're sitting around watching the internet program of our Japanese fellows who are the sort of the darlings of the hacker world. they say, hack the planet, and then everyone calls it back. It's calling, you know, return there. It's like, hack the planet, they all yell. Was it Razor and Blade? Yes.
Were the names? Yeah. They have a lot of makeup on. Sure did. But they didn't look sweaty at all, so I was.
Impressed by that. It was impressed by that. They kept the lights off of them until the last second. Yeah, I think that's what it was. Overtime.
There's a party sequence in the film at Angelina Jolie's character's house. Yeah. That scene represents the best of everyone's outfits, I think. Oh, the leather? The white leather outfit?
That fucking straight jacket thing that she has on. I love that. I'm obsessed with that. Even Johnny Lee Miller's orange life preserver. You know, to me, it pays homage.
Okay. To Just One of the Guys, which is a movie where she wears, it's after she turns into a guy, but she's wearing a white leather outfit. And I spent my entire life looking for something like that to wear. Joyce Heiser. Yes, the body.
That's what they called her. For obvious reasons. I love that movie. I love it too. It's one of those HBO specials.
It was on too much. You just couldn't stop watching it. Good Lord. It made me a big fan of Cindy Lauper. Yeah, it was Sherilyn Fenn's in it.
Oh my goodness, isn't she? Yeah. The other outfit I really liked was Matthew Lillard's in that scene. It's Lou Reed's revolver sparkly shirt. He's really good in this movie, and you can tell that he went with it.
I don't think that those were lines on a script for him. I think he just went for it. Improved everything. Yeah, I do think so. He did improv one line, which was, he screams right before the big hacking begins.
Oh, that was great. And he says, tension breaker, had to be done. Now, I would have liked the line had it not been stolen from Summer School. The character of Chainsaw, right before the big test, screams at the top of his lungs and says that exact thing. It was even in the trailer.
Yeah. Bad Matthew Lillard. That was a great movie, though. Summer School? Yes.
It's one of the best movies ever made. It is. It is. You think I'm joking, but I am absolutely not. I will watch that movie right now.
I'm a fan. I've seen it. I like it. Beginning to end. Can I call my mother and tell her I won't be home?
Ever. We just got laughed by a woman with a walker. Okay, I could do the whole movie. Anyway, moving on. I love that movie.
It's great. But then they all, you know, succeed. They do, but I have a question for you as a New Yorker. Okay. Do you have a subway defense system, and is it a flare gun?
So I'm post-COVID, so I avoid the subway as much as possible. But, you know, there's all the ways that you can avoid things. Any woman knows how to deal with the subway as best as they can without causing more trouble and getting, you know, yeah. We all have our own systems. The answer is yes.
Do you have a flare gun, though? No, I don't want to get arrested. Christmas is coming. Aww. Father Malone.
So sweet. I wouldn't trust me with a gun. Any kind of gun. You're not going in the subway either, and that's the only place I want a flare gun to go off in New York. Yeah.
It's fine. Somebody's fine. That's the most horrible thought I've ever had. Is that the most horrible thought you've ever had? Oh, my God.
No, as far as public transportation goes, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think so. I still doubt it. Probably not. Probably not.
Some things cannot be said aloud. So there's a couple of things that really bother me about this movie. When after little Fisher starts baseball batting everything in his room and he's like, blow me. And he's like, thank you. As if it was this big, smart comeback or something.
I just didn't get it. I didn't think it was. But no. I didn't get most of the dialogue. Oh, really?
Yeah. Oh, come on. Just the interpersonal stuff is fine, but any of the tough guy posing stuff. Yeah. What's it called?
The Keyboard Cowboys? Mess with the best, die like the rest? This is 1982? Come on, man. That was in the beginning.
And they make fun of him for it. Yeah. It is a self-aware universe. But here's the thing about that. The Keyboard Cowboys.
Yes. When they're in their own little world in Cyberdelia, which is not as cool a title as they think it is for that place, which I like that place, and I like this community, and it made me want the rest of the world to not be real because there are some shots of the subway where it's like they're doing the rollerblading, and it's all like strobe lit and fucking crazy looking down there. It was so dumb. It was like Luc Bichon subway. Yeah, man.
I want that. Give me it all. No. Look, if they're going to have a scene where fucking Johnny Lee Miller hands off a disc to a skateboarding Fisher Stevens in a white limo that disappears into the smoke. Yeah, this is not real.
We don't have to believe anything else. You can just make it all cuckoo. It could be like a hero with live action. They tried to balance that. It was a mistake.
They should have gone full-blown cuckoo, self-contained world. This should have been like a Johnny Mnemonic of sorts. Like Scuba. Self-contained just like that. Just like that i'll let them know i loved.
The chinatown tableau yes that one shot where it's where they're setting everything up and and matthew lillard is lording over it and i loved that it's very well directed i must say even though clearly they have had no idea how to visualize the internet at all they just made a city out of digital servers or something and Oh, it's really bad. Yeah, it's a city. It's like a grid system with little. It's better off when he's doing these sort of montages of actual systems, like a car flying through a tunnel or, you know, subway systems interconnecting to convey the idea of the internet because the actual internet stuff is... That's laughable.
I enjoyed the quick cut montage of when he first sees Angelina Jolie's character of Kate and how, like, the comic book, the... I thought that was really well done. Yeah. I'm saying visually, I really like the movie. It's just that when they try to actually show us the internet, I'm like, what are you doing now?
Oh, yeah. But that's in every movie we're watching. Not true. I like Johnny Mnemonic's depiction of the internet. You just like him.
I like Kabuki Reeves. It's terrible. Kabuki Keanu. Yeah. You can hear that episode over on the Patreon channel.
That's Johnny Mnemonic. That's over on Airlock Sensors and Ray Guns. Available now. So hackers like this movie. You were talking about that.
Hackers love this fucking movie. Most hackers seem either to be inspired by it or have enjoyed it ironically. They all agree that anything depicting hacking is completely ridiculous in the film. I think there's one shot of a monitor. Where I watched a ton of videos of hackers reviewing the movie, and in that one moment where they show this hexadecimal scrawl on screen, they're like, okay, that's real.
Yeah, that one. And then everything else is like, this is no, no, no, no. The only thing that they do agree on, there's the montage of Johnny Lee Miller just sitting at the keyboard, and they show the sunrise and sunset. I know that. I saw it.
I remember it. That scene, they all agree, yeah, it's like that. Because for those around you. Oh, really? You know, just because you're locked in and time goes by and you don't know what's going on.
But they also all agree that you're not seeing mathematical equations flying past your head. Or any of the ridiculous visual. Like little man Tate. Yeah, exactly. You know, like a beautiful mind.
Yeah. Numbers and formulas. Ooh, I must be smart. Coming at you. Nevertheless.
I think the movie actually looks great. I don't even know what Ian Softly's done since. We should probably look that up. Let's look that up. That was my key typing sounds.
It's big in the movie. Like the movie. Yeah. Hackers. Oh, they're hackers.
And Ian softly directed Hackers. Oh, he directed K-Pax. Oof. Skeleton Key. Oof.
He went on to direct the movie K-Pax, starring Kevin Spacey, about an alien. He did the Skeleton Key, which you know the twist about 20 minutes into the movie. Inkheart. That was okay. The Shepherd.
I don't know what that is. We also did Backbeat, like you said. Yeah, which was great. Okay. I'll let you have that.
You know, Backbeat and Hackers. Good job. Ian Softley? Hey. I haven't seen Curve.
Maybe he did something else. The Wings of the Dove, I haven't seen that. Oh, that's like a Henry James book. When Helena Bonham Carter was in everything. Oh, yeah.
Yeah, if there was a bodice involved, she was going to be there. Yes, and she was, and she was great. It was the law. Did you ever see Johnny Lee Miller perform in Dangerous? Boyle's version of Frankenstein with Benedict Cumberbatch?
Oh, no. That's not a movie. No, it was a two-person play at the Royal National Theater, but they filmed it. The conceit being that they would switch off roles of Victor and the monster. Each night?
Yeah. How was it? Which one did you see? I saw both. Because they filmed both.
I didn't like either. That movie is set up to fail. It's a lot of pretentiousness. The Kenneth Branagh movie. Fucking Frankenstein.
It's so bad. It's not easy to make good. No. Or Willy Wonka of Flesh. The new one that came out.
Fucking.... That's not hackers. That's not hackers. But it is about someone... Laser focused on something.
Like Ian Softly. Like Ian Softly. Oh, boy. What else? Anything else about this flick?
Seems like we should have more to say, but I think we both liked it too much to really pick it apart. It's true. It's true. I do like this movie. Did you like their promotional website?
Tell everyone about that. I'm going to put a link in the show notes, everybody, so you can experience this on your own. But the original 1995 United Artists website for hackers is there. And you would not believe how high tech it is. It stands up to this day.
I was surprised. I was like, this is 1995? Did they have a time machine? It's if you're in a room and you want to torture someone, you put that on and just leave it on. The music is so soothing.
Yeah. That or Post Malone, I think, would really just drive someone to murder. Those are it. Those are the biggest ones. All right.
All right. Yeah, I think I don't have any other notes. So I guess that's going to do it for this particular episode. I think we like hackers. You should see Hackers.
I think it deserves a rewatch if you haven't. I know, but rewatch it, everybody. I'm just so jealous of that haircut. It's an incredible haircut. I loved it.
That's how you look right now. I've tried it so many times. I've tried it so many times. It just fails miserably. It's like the whole Foxfire vibe that she had.
It's plastered. Yeah. But she was just that rich girl from school that wouldn't have been my friend anyway, you know? True. Like, that's true.
They were in public school, rich, pretty. We would not have talked. And she's into computers, which you were not at the time. Bailey would have had nothing to talk about. Yeah.
Except for Johnny Lee Miller. When you have that kind of money. Yeah, sure. It's a socioeconomic thing with me. You can afford to have the leather outfit and spend all day pretending you live in.
I do have one now. But are you hanging out at the cyber cafes? No. How about the internet cafes? No.
Printing stuff. Yeah, exactly. Over and over again. 25 cents a copy. My laptop died.
I need to get into this USB. Leather outfits for everybody. Oh, boy. All right. Have we decided what we're doing next?
Danger Diabolique. No, that's on the other program. Yeah, okay. And then for this one, we're going to do, sorry, pause, pause, pause. Short Circuit.
Short Circuit. It's a Fisher-Stevens. Yeah, we're just going to go Fisher. If Fisher-Stevens is involved with some technology, we will find it and we will put it on this program. We're going to do it with My Science Project, but that's going to be over on the Patreon show.
You folks are missing out over there. Oh, yeah. All right, so next time we're going to be doing Short Circuit. And say goodbye to everybody, Laura, unless there's a line from this movie that you want to throw out there. And I know you do.
What's a good Lorraine Bronco? Get the file or you're going to lose all your toys. So bad. Try to enjoy the daylight.
