What's up and welcome to Movie Meltdown. I'm Brian. I'm Misty. I'm Jay. And we are once again coming to you from the vehicle on the road to the infamous annual trip to Chicago.
No short bus this year. No short bus. We have decided it was not... economical with the number of people we have on hand to bust out the short bus. Does this one have a name? I can't remember.
I don't think this one has a name. I don't think Jay's named his car. What? The car doesn't have a name. The car doesn't have a name.
My car has a name. My car's name is Conway. It's not a very girly car. It's just kind of cool. Conway.
So. Not quite the huge group that it was last time, but we have dragged someone else along. We can introduce you to Natasha. Hi. Odd, I suppose.
A few weeks ago, we were at another convention. You were actually at Fright Night a while ago. Yeah. And now, did you have any idea you would end up stuck in a car riding to Chicago with us? Well, certainly didn't.
Little did you know. I still didn't, so. Yeah, that's true. It was still questionable, but. So, it's an exciting life you lead, is what you're saying.
Yeah, it certainly is. Oh, well that can be, I don't even have, as far as Geek Week, I haven't watched anything that I haven't actually talked about on the show, is the sad part. Everything I watch, I end up talking about on the show. So, um, I was trying to think of anything else random, and, uh, one thing I thought, as it happened, I was like, this is a very geek thing, and only really occurs at something like a convention. So, uh, I was gonna at least pass this little story along.
And this was, uh, you were involved in this, Natasha. Uh, we were hanging out at Fright Night, um, what, three, four weeks ago, however long it's been now. And, uh, This was later on because, you know, most of the people there don't really have anything to do. So you seem to loiter about in the hotel. That seems to be a pretty standard operating procedure at these conventions.
So, yeah, hanging around, it's the middle of the night at this point because there's nothing else useful to do. And sitting there, and it's pretty much empty. Even most of the annoying drunk people, and there were a lot of annoying drunk people, had wandered off. and we're sitting there in this, like, hallway, and at one point, this guy, obviously pretty drunk, and it's very late at this point, so, uh, comes sort of stumbling up, doesn't really say anything, and tries to walk into a door, and it's closed, and almost, like, smacks himself into it, because he's half out of it, because he's drunk, and, uh, he, he stops, and he sort of looks at it confused, like, and without. Missing a beat, He pulls out a sonic screwdriver.
He zaps the handle. It lights up and everything. This was the deluxe model. It still doesn't open. He shrugs.
And I believe without a word. He walked off after that. That ain't gonna work. Well, just fuck it. I suppose so.
I don't know. I just sat there and was like, yeah, that's the kind of thing you only see at a convention. It's Nowhere else in my time have I ever seen someone just randomly pull out a sonic screwdriver, start trying to make it work on a door. I'm not even sure that's the specific use for sonic screwdrivers, but he was thoroughly convinced it was going to get him in that room. Is there a specific use for sonic screwdrivers?
I don't know. I'm not geek enough. I don't know. Is anyone here steeped deep enough in the doctor to tell us that? I'm sure listeners definitely know.
Awesome. Doctor Who. Oh, I don't watch Doctor Who. Even the new ones I want to, but just because I've heard the new batch are actually really well done. You know, I really don't like the new Doctor, Matt Smith.
Just this last season or so? This is the last season. The last two seasons he's been on. Does he know how to work his sonic screwdriver? He does know how to work his sonic screwdriver.
Can't he open doors? Dirty. Not on our show. We would never make such innuendos on our show. Nah, that's what I was waiting for.
So, yeah, I don't know. Had you watched The Last Doctor? I haven't been following this season, just because I don't like Pat Smith. But the one before. The one before I watched the whole season.
David Tennant before that? Maybe it was. It was David Tennant before that. Who now I think is in Fright Night, isn't it? He's like the guy that the cute kid from Star Trek.
Goes to for help. He's the new Ronnie McDowell. I think. It took me a while to recognize that guy in Fortnite, because I'm like, he doesn't have a thick accent. I can understand what he's saying.
How can that be him? There are no vampires on this whistle. Vampires on a whistle? Wait a minute, I. Think we're onto something here.
I would watch that. Why can't we have him doing vampires on this whistle? Oh, but you were more partial to the previous Doctor? Yeah, I preferred David Tennant to Matt Smith. Again, I have not watched enough of it.
I know their difference, but I know they swapped out recently, but... I've not seen enough to know one from the other much as far as plotline or performance. I've never seen even. A partial episode of Doctor Who. I just never got into it.
But I've seen enough of the memes and everything. It's about my extent of knowledge of Doctor Who as the internet memes. Well, and it's kind of hard to... be a geek and hang out at the conventions as much as we are and not at least know what a Dalek is. You're exposed to them. I mean, I know the, you know, basic, like, the stuff, the more visual things.
Like, to my horn, a scarf, it's usually either Harry Potter or it's Doctor Who. That would be the Tom Baker years. See, I'm at least geek enough to know. I have seen a few episodes of the Tom Baker part. Even back then, they were interesting.
They were well-written. Obviously, they were working with a little, uh, more controlled budget we'll say but you know it's it was fun on its own dorky sci-fi way. We're driving through all the windmills it always reminds me of mac and me what mac and me was awesome and i remember there being windmills at some point in that. Movie oh we just need to have a whole mac and me episode don't it's been years. Since i've seen that movie you know i kind of want to watch it again.
I'm guessing we wouldn't find it as endearing as we probably did. I've heard that it actually really sucks. Yeah, that's all I've heard about it. I should be able to leave my version of it in my head and. Just leave it there.
Maybe for the best. Preserve your childhood. Windmills. Nice. Oh, man.
They spin. You do like things that spin and or sparkle. But not vampires. Can we put a windmill in our backyard? Huh?
Can we put a windmill in our backyard? Sure. A real one? Huh? We've got a record of one of those.
Run our house on the power from it. Yeah. Okay. Off the grid. Oh, yeah.
I don't think you'd ever get anything done if you had one of those in your yard. The novelty would wear off eventually. It'd be an exciting year while it lasted, let me tell you. It would take a year for the novelty to wear off, get it? Probably.
You're just sitting out in the yard in a lawn chair watching it spin around. By the window, it's hot outside. I was kind. Of thinking like a pinwheel action. We can find one this weekend and once again nothing will be done but you sitting there.
We saw the little pinwheels on sticks the other day. It's a target. She's like, what's this? Where do you put the batteries? This thing's stupid.
We are the generation that is easily amused. It was all sparkly and shit. It was like holographic. Now they are getting fancy with their shit. So did that go into all our Doctor Who knowledge? or lack thereof?
Any other favorite Doctor Who moments? Any other favorite Doctor Who moments? I just like the David Tennant. A couple seasons ago when Master came on. I just felt like that was really well written.
And then it was just all downhill from there. They just couldn't get better than that. So the writers just kind of gave up. Maybe they did. I know they're bringing in different people now.
Neil Gaiman just did one with the new Doctor, so that's a big deal. I actually did see that episode of the recent season. It was called The Doctor's Wife that Neil Gaiman wrote. And it was actually really good, except for Matt Smith still sucking. Wow.
Yeah. Sure. Not a fan of Mansfield. Not at all. Do they change the doctors on a regular basis for like a reason or just the actors get tired of doing it?
Well, the doctor is. Supposed to be kind of immortal and whenever he dies, he switches bodies. So he's sort of like a slayer. Yeah, kind of like a slayer, except the consciousness transfers over, too. So he is the same person, he just gets a new body.
Okay. See, even that I wasn't 100% sure of. I just knew. And I figured it all probably stemmed out of the more practical fact of this guy wants out of his contract. Except for Tom Baker, who did it for like 20-some odd years.
Well, that's what happened with Christopher Eccleston. He did one season, and then he turned down his contract because he thought Doctor Who wasn't going to be very popular. I wonder how pissed he is right. Now, actually. Yeah, as it turns out, a few people seem to like it out there.
Just a few, you know. A handful of geeks, if you will. Well, we need to continue on with our research into the doctor, I guess, and get back to that. Miss PJ, did you have your own stuff? Geek Week stuff.
The only thing I can think of that we actually watched that we're actually allowed to talk about at this current moment. Because you're in the same situation as I am that everything that you have watched lately we're going to talk about later anyway. The only thing I can think of right now that we actually watched was Dylan Dog. It had some other kind of subtitle thing. I don't remember what it was.
It's not really important. But, yeah. Randy didn't like it, from what I understand. From what Randy told Jay, it was just horrible. And I kind of liked it a little bit, I guess.
It wasn't completely horrible. It was enjoyable, I guess. It wasn't... It didn't make me mad. It was no Expendables.
I don't know. I mean. If a movie doesn't make you mad, that's kind of a big step for them. Alright. I'm not sure I thought that was the main guy.
Brandon Routh, whatever the fuck his name is. I think it's Routh. He had stupid hair. Always has stupid hair. Stupid hair to like half covered in ears that just it just looks sloppy and i don't like that and then he has this weird you know big butt pimple chin that i.
Don't like i know you're a fan of those i. Am not a fan of those whatsoever um but it was i didn't hate it the main the high point of the movie for me was his i guess you call him like a sidekick or whatever but his partner who also the guy who was on the american version of being human he played the werewolf in that one He's the best part of this whole damn movie. The rest of it, I was just. Like, eh. Yeah.
He's the dork from Fanboys, right? I think so. That's a year since I've seen Fanboys. Yeah. He's so whiny.
It's hard to get on board with that guy. Yeah, I'd rather just have a whole movie of him trying to be a zombie and trying to live the rest of his life. Go through zombies anonymous. Yeah. Actually, we did watch something else.
What was the movie that we watched that pissed me off so bad? It could be No, this was recent. Remember, it's the one I said that I enjoyed Troll more than I liked this movie. Oh. That was State Land.
No, this was the other one. The one that pissed me off. The one with Slick and Ivan. Oh, yeah. You're probably going to get a lot of hate mail for this, but neither Misty or I really liked Hobo with the Shotgun.
Oh, yeah. Hobo with the Shotgun. That movie sucked so bad. You know. I think the best thing was the internet movie trailer.
I enjoyed it then. I thought it was really going to be good. We watched it. And I guess some people, you'll either like it or you won't like it. I can see how a lot of people would really like it.
Because, I mean, it's got some kind of cool ideas in it, I guess. And Rutger Hauer is Chuckle Awesome. He is. But just for me, it almost seems like it's trying too hard. When I watch movies that are trying too hard, I just don't really care.
See, it reminded me, it was almost the same level of bad as, like, Drive Angry. But I loved Drive Angry, but I had the knowledge that it was pretty bad and pretty cheesy. But this, it just, I didn't enjoy it at all. Most of the characters couldn't die fast enough. I mean, aside from Rutger Hauer.
He was the only one I really cared about. Chick was okay. Chick was okay. The brothers were fucking annoying. They couldn't die fast enough.
Hell, I wanted to crawl into the movie and kill them just so I wouldn't have to watch it. You want to reverse the ring. You want to crawl in the TV to kill people. And kill them so I wouldn't have to listen to their stupid fucking one-liners. I mean, the worst one-liners.
You know, I mean, trying to be as filthy and. Raunchy as possible. Which, hey, I'm okay with filthy and raunchy. That's fine. When it's not forced.
Yeah. You know, I mean, it's forced to the point where it's just like, really? You're going to say that? Because that's really dumb. That doesn't shock me.
It was going more for shock value. Everything was shock in this movie. I've already been shocked. It's not shocking me anymore. I'm just kind of like, you're trying too hard, whatever.
Yeah, that's one of the ones I was just going into was like that a couple weeks ago. I was like, you can tell how hard they're trying to be clever with their dialogue, but at the same time, shocking. So they're cramming in obscenity where it doesn't really even fit naturally. So, yeah. To give you a line out of the movie?
You're not going to get the whole thing the way I'm thinking. I don't know. So the girl, she's a hooker. She's in her car, and this guy walks up to her, and he goes. Baby, you look so good, I'd like to cut my dick off and.
Rub it all over your tits. That's one approach, all right. That's the dumbest line ever. Who the fuck says that? That's stupid.
Not really clever? No, no, no. Dumb. Yeah, there was no good lines in this movie. It was like a bunch of 15-year-old boys sitting around going, heh heh, this'll be funny.
I mean, it definitely falls in the exact same situation as Machete, since it started as a trailer for a movie that doesn't exist. But Machete was fucking awesome! Yeah. And Danny Trejo, he really can't do any wrong. But, you know, Rutger Hauer is also awesome, so it seems like it should be similar, but I guess just the writing is that bad in this one.
It is truly that bad. It's bad. Kind of reminds me of the line in Heathers where the football player. Is sitting there and he's like, I like to stick a heather on my johns and spin around like a goddamn pinwheel. That's what it reminds me of.
It reminds me of like a 16-year-old football jock trying to come up with something witty to say. Yeah, in that movie it was satire. It was making fun of these guys. Football players, and you're like, yeah, I can see that guy saying that. Odds are it's not quite as clever in Hobo with a Shotgun.
It had some creative deaths in it. I'll give it that much. Oh, yeah. I'm not going to ruin anything. I'm pretty sure a guy died with a roller, like an ice skating shoe.
Yeah. Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's a death by ice skating shoe. Yeah. And there's some things in the movie where you're just like, wow, I didn't see that coming. So, I mean, I guess it's entertaining if you like that.
Yeah. Like I said, most people would probably. Be like, I can't fucking believe it. I'm like, what the fuck's. Wrong with you?
I just didn't like it. It's fine. I'm not saying you can't like it. And it took him way too fucking long to get a shotgun. If you're going to have a movie called Hulu with a shotgun, bitch better start off with a fucking shotgun.
It takes him like half an hour to... I don't even have... Half a movie if I can procure a shotgun. Oh my good God. And you know what?
I would let Rutger Hauer mow our yard. And now back to, you know, things being dirty. Hold on. Especially now that our damn lawn guy has disappeared. Your weird neighbor guy?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. He had to mow. He was supposed to mow the yard on Thursday, and he didn't show up. I would pay Riker Howard to mow our yard. That's the whole point of this.
His whole thing in this movie, that's what he wants. He wants to buy a lawnmower so he can start his own lawnmower business. I'm not improving anything. Trust me. What was his slogan?
You grow it, I'll cut it. That's the stupidest damn thing. That doesn't even fucking rhyme. I would have at least enjoyed you grow it, I'll mow it. Because at least that fucking rhymes.
But you grow it and I'll cut it. That's just fucking stupid. That's kind of awesome when you pour them. But you never mow another man's lawn. See, that's what I was thinking.
I don't know what he's supposed to do because you never mow another man's lawn. Unless they really want you to. Unless they pay you to. I guess you're getting paid. You're a professional.
I just randomly come by somebody's yard. Actually, you know what? I really would not mind if somebody just randomly come by our yard as long as we didn't get paid for it. Alright. Are you getting all fired up for the convention?
I am. I'm a little excited. Yeah. Excited about Noah Hathaway. That's my main excitement right there.
That's the reason for our pilgrimage. For me, pretty much. That's it. Aside from it's fun to go, but Noah Hathaway was definitely the pushbacker for me. Road trip to a train.
Hell yeah. It is pretty awesome. I watched that movie last night, too. Should we talk about that, how awesome it is? Might as well.
I don't know that we're going to devote the whole thing to it. So, yeah, let's get our fix on it. It's been a couple years since I've watched The NeverEnding Story, and it's still just as awesome as it was when I was a kid. Some movies, they lose it, and you're like, oh, I'm afraid Maggie Mae's going to do it. But The NeverEnding Story, actually, they put it in the same category as What the Hook.
No, they shouldn't. The NeverEnding Story is just so awesome. I'm surprised they haven't tried to remake it yet. I'll give it time. Yeah.
I don't know, there's so many other ones of that level that I know were already in the works when we were following through, but that one I don't remember an. Official version, but I don't know. And I never stop being annoyed by Bastion. He is a dork. Yeah, and it's just, he's obnoxious, and he's kind of a little bitch, you know?
Yeah, I don't know about Bastion. Come on, read the book. Oh, yeah. Still one of the reasons why I still can't watch that movie. He screams too much.
Pisses me off. I can hear him yelling in the other room. I was like, I'm not watching this movie. He does scream a lot for a little kid, not really doing anything that will move him. But there was a big turtle!
He's reading a fucking book. Who gets scared of a turtle in a fucking book? Have you seen Oscar? If there was, like, a 900-foot Oscar coming after you, wouldn't you be mad? Kind of, you know, scared?
Yeah, I heard. You know, he'd eat you. He tries to eat my fingers. Yeah. Yeah.
Whatever. But yeah, I grew up with Never Ending Story. That's one of my favorite movies of all time. I love that movie. I can't argue.
I mean, for a kid's movie, it's amazing how well put together that is. And the fact that they gave it to an amazing director, even at the time. I mean, it's weird how it's become this little kid's favorite movie, but it's also kind of well put together. I've heard the writer of the book, the guy who wrote the book, fucking hated the movie so bad that he demanded they remove his name from it. Jesus.
Which, I mean, I don't understand, dude. I mean, the movie's way fucking better than your book was. Yeah, you have read the book. That's why. Yeah, I read the book.
It's kind of long, and the second part really sucks. The second part, which has nothing to do with the movie. Well, no, because the movie ends halfway through the book. And the second half of the book is just Bastion making all his wishes, rebuilding Fantasia, and just generally being a douchebag. I can't imagine the Fantastica.
Only the book is Fantastica or whatever, but in the movie it's Fantasia. Because Fantasia sounds better than Fantastica, which is why you got. This job, probably. You came up with a better name, better title, which other shit? I'm still, I usually find myself annoyed at the same part of the movie.
I hate the end part of the movie where Bastion's all, like, riding the luck dragon and chasing the bullies under the garbage can. I'm like, dude, seriously, these fuckers have bullied you and picked on you and generally just tormented your ass for how long? And that's all you're gonna fucking do. You got a fucking luck dragon. You're gonna chase him under a garbage can.
Ugh. Luck Dragon would be getting some little kid snacks. I'll tell you. The whole fucker would be getting eaten by a damn Luck Dragon if it was me. I would know this.
Oh my god, I'm getting some new garbage. No, that's fucking retarded. Eat the little bastards. Just slam them into a wall. Maybe whatever works for me.
I want a Luck Dragon though. Luck Dragons are awesome. He looks pretty handy. I could make use of one of those. Every time I watch...
I mean, the Gmork is still fucking frightening. The what? The Gamora. Oh. You didn't see the Gamora.
I didn't see that. It's like a big, huge wolf. I don't know. No, it is. I thought they called him some other name.
He was working with the... I don't know if he was working. He kind of worked in... Oh, the Nothing. Yeah.
He wasn't the Nothing at all. He was the agent of the Nothing. Okay. He was the one who was sent to stop Atreyu from stopping the Nothing. Okay.
He is badass. Like, that was, like, my favorite part, even as a kid. Again, the weird, creepy kid that I was. I was just like that. Yeah.
He was awesome. The only thing bad about it is kind of distracting how bad the puppeteering is in Frozen War. Because it's like a hand puppet or something. Again, this was a pretty modest budget in, like, what, 82 or something? It was a long time ago.
84 or something like that, so. I don't think they had hints in money, so it was hard for it to be quite up to those standards, but he's still awesome. Yeah. Are you familiar with that movie? I've seen it.
I've seen it. I read a survey. It was probably about ten years ago, so. So you have a perfect recollection. Oh, absolutely.
A perfect recollection. Yeah. Okay, sometimes the most interesting part of it is what stuck with you. Even though the rest of it's fallen away, what is what stuck with you this far in? Um, the creepy way that Bathory used to say, I like children.
I heard that from the other room, and I was like, I don't even know what I was doing, but I was online, and I heard, I like children. I was like, you would, you fucking perv. Sometimes you read it very differently as a grown-up. Yeah. Or as close as we get.
Oh. So I like children. That's what you've taken from me. That stuck in my mind, how deeply creepy that was. That was creepy.
I don't know. The other one is I try to work in the term rock biter as often as possible. While watching the movie, I realized the rock biter reminds me of your friend Dave. Who? Your friend Dave.
Dave? Which Dave? Homebar Dave. Big hands. Homebar Dave?
He's a fucking giant. He is. And he has these big hands. They'd be good, strong hands. This guy's hands are so big he could probably pick you up by your head.
He's a pretty big guy. And then eat you like a rock. Probably. But he had his wife's itty bitty. She's only like five foot.
Rock biter. Just an awesome turn. Any other favorite ones? How did I get that guy? Any that didn't actually scar you that were good moments?
Um, I don't know. I don't know. Honestly, half the time when I think about a never-ending story, I have a tattoo of a dragon on my thigh, and it's this really angry-looking Chinese dragon, and a little kid saw it once and was like, oh, look, it's Falkor. I'm like, oh, you ruined my tattoo for me forever. Thanks, little kid.
Whatever. Adjust it. Luck dragon. That would be awesome. Luck dragon.
I think when you go to these kind of places, if you had a luck dragon on you, how fucking cool you would be. You know, I'm not sure if I want to be that type of cool, actually. Fine. It's a very fine line, actually. It really is.
The kind of person who gets a dragon, the kind of person who gets a luck dragon. Really? It's a fine line. Anything else we need before we get into the middle of this convention action? I can't think of anything.
How about you? Yeah. Are you anticipating the fun and excitement of this Comic-Con? I don't know. I'm sure there will be lots of fun and excitement.
You haven't seen this version of it before. No, I haven't, so it'll be new and interesting. And overwhelming and giant. Last year Marlena had to leave after like five minutes. She was like overwhelmed with the...
Yeah, Comic-Con's probably the only. large gathering of people that I could be around without wanting to murder everybody. Because they're such dorks you just kind of feel mad for. Well, I mean, everybody's so nice, so, I mean, it's kind of cool, and there's people in costume, which always brightens my day. They're entertaining. You know?
It's too much entertainment. You know, it's. Different than the flea market, you know? Flea market, y'all got all kinds of nutbags out there. Oh, yes, it's definitely a very different crowd.
All right, I guess we will take a break and head back, probably once we're in the midst of the craziness of Commodore. Thank you. I have found a sea. Two minutes. To go to the snack bar for a quick refresher before showtime.
No crowds to bark, just go get it. You'll be sorry you. Missed your chance to enjoy some of the many tempting goodies waiting for you. Stretch your legs now while the stretching's good. There's still time to get a mouth-watering hot dog, a sparkling ice-cold soda, assorted flavors of ice cream, all kinds of candy, the most delicious steaming hot coffee you ever drank, and freshly popped popcorn piping hot.
Make a beeline for the snack bar right now to quench your thirst. Half man, half beast. All monster. The Twilight People. From the cave of cruelty they came.
Screaming demons screeching through the skies. From the fortress of fear they fled. A savage stampede. Hell bent on blood. The Twilight People.
Test tube terrors evolved from evil. Out of the shadows, onto your throat. The Twilight People. Rated PG. Parental guidance suggested.
A Treyu! Falkor! A Treyu! Falkor! A Treyu!
Falkor? Ooh, a Treyu. Falkor? A Treyu! A Treyu!
A Treyu! A Treyu! A Treyu! A Treyu! A Treyu!
Go! Go! So now we come to basically the pinnacle of this episode, the man who ties it all together, Mr. Noah Hathaway, star of Battlestar Galactica, this week's featured troll, and the classic The NeverEnding Story. All right, so we're here with Noah.
So you started pretty early on in acting. Was it three years old? I think I was four, but, you know, it was counting at that point. Yeah, it's been a long time. That's for sure.
Was it something, I mean, at that point you don't have much of an option, but I guess as you got older, was it something. You were really interested in, or it just became a job? Absolutely. I loved it for a long time. I worked nonstop from four to.
My early 20s, and then I just needed a break. I needed to get out of Dodge for a little while and, you know, do some other stuff. But it was definitely fun for a long time. And, you know, it took 15 years off, and now I'm back making movies again. Very cool.
I'm stoked. I was going to say, I mean, never a new story. You still get a lot of that. Absolutely. Did you know. how big a deal it was at the time just from from I guess both like an artistic aspect.
Or well I we knew it was it was going to be a special movie you know especially after reading the book and seeing what they had done we're going to do with it uh I didn't know that it was going to last this long you know but it's people it's got a real special place people's hearts you know it really is one of those movies and it stands up today you know it really does Yeah, it. Became sort of memorable as time's gone on, and I guess Atreyu became sort of iconic. Were you prepared for that? I don't think you ever really are prepared for it. I know I have.
People say that I'm a legend and an icon, and that just makes me feel old. But, you know, I'm fine with it. It could be a lot worse. Definitely. I could be a ditch digger somewhere or something else.
It's not too bad. And then working with Wolfgang Peterson, that... first English language movie what was he like as a director. He's a brilliant director he's just very meticulous. You know very he knows what he wanted knows how he wanted to see it and doesn't matter how many takes until he gets it we get it you know what I mean it was one of those yeah 50 takes sometimes. Yeah Was it hard working with all the...
I mean, you had a lot of puppets and costumes and. I love all the... I love the animatronics. I wish they had more of it in movies now. All that was a hell of a lot of fun.
You know, I mean, it was a very rigorous physical movie for, you know, a 12- and 13-year-old. So I got hurt a lot, but it was still fun. Still fun. The kind of stuff that was okay, or they didn't mention that you were getting injured? Yeah, exactly.
I don't think anybody knew. It was supposed to be a three-month shoot. It turned into nine and a half, ten months. So I don't think anybody knew what they were getting into until we were really into it. Wow.
And then I have to ask, the scene with you and the horse, how was that shooting it for a kid? It was rough. It was very emotional. I mean, I love animals anyways. I'm a huge animal fanatic.
And so just to. be present there while they were doing it it's a hard scene you know it's a gut wrenching scene it was hard watching. I think that was one of those that really caught you off guard for a quote unquote kids movie that it was not full enough. Even acting in that scene it was it was real hard it was just gut wrenching I don't watch that scene I fast forward it if I see them you know if I have to sit through it click goes right past it it's hard to watch yeah and then I just finished a movie called Sushi Girl yeah Which, that's got a crazy cast. Mark Hamill and Tony Todd and Jeff Fahey and Michael Biehn. Good lord.
So, we're excited about that. And then I was going to have you work in stuff. You've got the new ones. Are there any other projects you want to tell people about? Well, I mean, I did a movie called The Critic.
It was a little arthouse movie. But what we're really proud of is Sushi Girl. We're really excited. We're looking at a theatrical release sometime at the beginning of the year. And, I mean, with the cast that we have, you know, I don't know how it could go wrong.
It looks really good, too. I saw the trailer hit recently. It looked cool, huh? Yeah, it looks good. Nice, nice.
I'm glad you liked it. Did you want people. I know you. had a website or did you want people to find you online anywhere or i. Have a facebook page no halfway i try to answer everybody it just got hacked so i had to start a new one i noticed it disappeared i didn't yeah someone hacked me and and uh i lost everything i had a bunch of pictures that i didn't like i hadn't saved on my computer which kind. Of bummed me out but uh what are you gonna do yeah i try to talk to everybody Very cool.
Very cool. We'll send people there. All right. Anything else you want to. No.
Very good. Very good. Thank you very much. Yeah, absolutely. Thank you.
So when I'm afraid of what's to come, I hit. The ground and run. Not sure what's coming next and never looking back. Hollow nights and empty days. Something had to change before it gets too late.

This is Movie Meltdown. One man, one goal. One mission, one heart, one soul. I'm a dragon. You're a dragon.
Pioneers in a covered wagon. Friday night, I'm flying late. Just in time for a dragon date. Picnic time, so hooray. Just come on to my dragon's way.
Luck Dragon is with you. Oh, I'm here to stay. And on a quest to Luck Dragon, it's the only way. Alright, we're at Super Dogs. What's your take on it?
I got a cookie. It's delicious. That was dessert. You're not ruining your supper. You finished your supper.
No, I didn't. As much as you were going to, you finished your supper. I finished it. I finished my burger. He ate my burger.
Oh, sorry, my bad. I forgot a cookie though. It's soft and delicious. I'm enjoying a fine super malt. Or no, super shake.
Sadistic bastard mess with you. What about you? I'm going to go take a super piss. Yeah, I think he's annoyed that I keep putting super in front of everything every time I order it. I'm just like, I want a super shake.
And he's just like, shake. All right, here. He's like, burger. Here you go. I'm like, no, I want a super burger.
He's like, leave me alone. Mine's a super chocolate chip cookie. I do like the fact that they put super in front of it. They got super veggies. A big box of.
The mixed. Is that even a word? I can't read from here. The mixed? Is that a word?
The mixed, sure. The mixed battered veggies. It's as much a word as the, uh... Happify. I mean, it's as much a word as happify.
Like, the chili's gonna do to you. Party. All beef chili will happify your tummy with its zesty taste. I'm so tired, I can't read a sign from here hardly. Happify is totally a word.
But yeah, what. Does it say on the sign about my shake? I'm gonna read. It from here again. A full pint of smooth, creamy refreshment.
So thick we put straws in them. Only to prove that you can't draw them through. We will gladly thin them down if you prefer it that way. And yet, I ordered mine and he slapped a straw on top of it, which my response was, that's a mystic bastard. And you still managed to suck hard enough to get it through the straw.
I do suck a lot, yeah. As our reviews have proven. Yep. Yep, yep. That's a damn good cookie.
And a damn good chocolate shake. It is a damn good chocolate shake, thank you. What about Bella's? Yeah, I was thinking that as I got. It, actually.
I don't know who brought that up lately. Somebody was telling me that it's funny how much that scene kind of doesn't play now in Pulp Fiction because they're like $ 5 shakes, so... He makes such a big deal out of it, like it's ridiculous that it's $ 5. I'm like, I just bought a $ 5 shake. I was thinking right there.
That $ 4. A little lower. Tax and all, it was pretty damn close to a $ 5 shake. How many years ago was that, though? About 20.
Oh, it wasn't 20 years ago. They're about to figure it to come out in 93, 94. 94. 94. Christ, I don't know.
But still, even then I remember, I don't know. Yeah, I guess that would have been pretty expensive. How many years ago? That's depressing. That was 10.
And you were enjoying chocolate shakes every day. This is a. Damn good picture. I went through that fucker. Put a hurtin' on that bitch.
Hot damn. Oh, could be followed by root beer. That's delicious. It's your personal recommendation. Fuck.
Noah Hathaway winked at me. And it didn't creep me out. And he winked at me like. Four or five times. I was beginning to think he just said a twitch.
But it was a cute glitch, so it's okay. The one that I saw was, well, probably disturbing for the person it was directed at, who is Luke right now. And it was the guy taking the picture for it. It was a guy taking a picture of him and another guy, and when they were done, he immediately winked at the guy who took the picture. I'm like, well...
That's cool. He is the Hulk, for fuck's sakes. He can do whatever he wants. I like him because I agree. Damn straight.
But you better like when he winks at you, motherfucker. But yeah, I know I have him when he winks at me most of the time. He was the sweetest damn guy. He is ridiculously nice. Jay talked to him about tattoos.
For a little bit. And about troll too. He did not acclaim that one at all, did he? No. Yeah, he talked about Troll for a minute.
He said Troll was pretty fun to work on. Oh, we'll get to that. Yeah, yeah. One of the pictures said, is that from Troll? And he was like, yeah.
It's odd because it didn't look like the Troll in Troll. It's still a Troll. It's still a Troll, but it didn't look like. The main Troll. That Troll was off that day.
I guess. It was still in Troll. He called it sick. Back of Troll. Back of Troll.
It was Xander's brother. That would make sense if you knew Xander's brother was here today. Where was he? I don't know. I barely found him.
I didn't even see Xander. I saw Xander. I didn't see his booth. I didn't see Xander. I saw.
No, wait. I saw Xander's booth. I didn't see Xander's brother's booth. Julie Benz walked right past me. I saw Julie Benz.
It was pretty exciting. I saw Charisma Carpenter. Yeah. She was tiny. She looks pretty from.
What I saw. She is pretty. She kind of is. She looks taller on TV. Everybody looks taller on TV.
Come on, Danny Trejo looks like a giant on TV. Yeah, but they purposely shoot it that way for you. Yeah. He has to stand on a box. Everybody has to walk on a trench.
Yeah, I know I had to. I was a tiny little man. Petite. I wanted to carry him around in my pocket. And.
He's been awesome. And. Was there anything else? I yelled at a guy. I think I was witness to that one.
Yeah. When he bumped into you this morning? Yeah, dude. He just started backing up. And I strong-armed him in the back.
I yelled, too. I forget what I said, but I'm sure it was laced with profanities. You, I can't imagine. And you were like, watch where you're fucking going. Because he was right...
His ear was almost at mouth level at that point. He was just backing up. So I was like... He jerked into awareness, and then Jay came in the back. Worry about our merry way.
Let's set the mood for the rest of the day, because I've been in a pissy-ass mood all day. Yeah, with the exception of Noah Hathaway. It was just ridiculously crowded. I don't remember there ever being that many damn people. Marlena would have had a meltdown.
She wouldn't even be at the damn door. There's probably twice as many people there this year as there was last year. There was a lot of people. Last year you just had that one front aisle that was crowded and the back aisle was crowded. This year it was like every aisle was crowded.
You at least had a little bit of room in the artist's area because there wasn't a lot of people there. But this year the artist's area was packed. That's a lot of people. No, and they were all stupid. They don't know how to function in the real world.
They don't know how to. Survive outside their mom's basement or whatever. But they were just completely oblivious to the world around them. They were just stumbling into people. J-Stuck on a kid.
Kid should've moved. I know one girl who's ridiculously proud of a little mustache tattoo she. Had on her index finger. And she was like showing it off to everyone. Like, you have been on your body for life.
Congratulations. That one booth is going to make free mustaches. No, I didn't see the free mustache food. It was free mustache on like a popsicle stick. I saw some girl walking around with it the whole time.
I'm so done with that. I'm sorry. I hate mustaches. Well, just in general. It was barely funny ever, but like it was five.
Years ago, everybody was doing it. It's so not funny now. And now a billion people have it tattooed on their index fingers. And think that they're so cool. It's not funny then either.
Just stop. And girls taking pictures with mustaches is just not funny. So girls of the internet, every one of your damn Facebook profiles, just delete it, please. Because it's not funny. I don't think I have any of those pictures.
I'd call you out if you did. I don't care. It's over. Please stop. I know, because I hate mustaches, so I wouldn't even pretend to have one.
Although I do sometimes pretend to have a pink mustache. But I don't take pictures of it or anything. I kind of want a picture of it, actually. Then I'll become that person. Yep, you will then become that person.
If I did it quickly, there was no cameras around. Your paparazzi wasn't following you. We saw some, speaking of paparazzi, we saw some. Lady Gaga look-alikes today. I called one of them, too, and I thought, dude, I bet one of those is a dude.
I was pretty sure Lady Gaga was a dude. One of them was a girl, one of them was a dude. But the Lady Gaga went. Did you say the other one just looked like some random backup dancer? I don't think it was Lady Gaga.
They were both Lady Gagas. They were at the costume. Well, rightfully so. The dude knew what he was doing, was decked out, and looked exactly like Lady Gaga. The girl was.
There was a nerd guy reaction. Yeah, to the Gaga. Sucker. It was a pleased reaction. I don't think he.
Knew that was. No, he just kind of took a double take and was like, yeah. All right. And that was all of the. Black leather panties.
I couldn't tell what those were. No, they weren't leather. They were black, but they were more. Of a polyester blend. Poly blend.
Poly blend. The hypoallergenic. A good stretch. They may paint your way like a special Gaga edition. That one superhero that was wearing underpants.
That one chick, she was wearing like Hanes or something. And she was the one with the blue cape. But she had like the red bra and the red. You took her picture. Did I?
She was like the Asian girl. Oh yeah, okay. Is that her title? The Asian girl. Her waistband said Hanes.
It was like, you're just wearing underpants. She's the ghetto superhero. I don't know. It had red flowers on it. It took way too many pictures.
Yeah, I know. He killed the battery on his camera. It was fully charged. He had to commandeer my camera to take pictures. Sometimes you gotta take pictures of crazy people.
Did anyone figure out what the purple thing was this morning? I never did. We were right next to her. I saw her later. I think it was Grimace.
She did not look like Grimace. Because I kind of like Grimace. That was no Grimace. What did I call her this morning? Great babe.
I'm so nice. Yes. I did get to see one of my favorite artists. I don't know if anybody knows who he is, but. He was awesome.
That's right. We didn't even know that he was going to be there. He wasn't on this website? I think this was a last minute deal for him because I don't even think he was aware that he was there. It looked like he pulled out a bunch of prints out of his trunk.
He didn't want to sell them. He had an art portfolio there which really was kind of odd. It was a portfolio of all original artwork. That he had done. All of them priced way expensive, like $ 300, $ 400, $ 900.
Yeah, one of them was like, this is $ 900. I really don't want to sell this. That's what it said on the tag. So yeah, he had like two different prices, and that was it. One of them was some girl walking downstairs, and then.
One of them was at the crow. Yeah. So you had to buy one to replace one that somebody used to. Work her way. Yeah.
Well, I saw Gus Fink, who is one of my favorites, and it's really twisted, weird stuff, and somehow it speaks to me very deeply. What did I buy? I bought an owl. Why are you looking for an owl? I was going to take you to your backpack.
I don't know if you want it. I kind of want to go buy another owl tomorrow, but I'm. Not going to be there in time. The owl is in the hotel room. It's so cute.
It was pretty cool, I thought. I might have to get another one, depending on what time we're here tomorrow. They open at 10 in the morning. I think. Lower is coming down outside.
It's a lot of rain. We'll park really far away. Are we ready to go now? I would shut up if I thought that it mattered. That's what it feels like.
When you're stitched into this skin. I feel stuck. Night of the Living Podcast. Ass to mouth is fantastic. Holy shit! That just happened. What's that bad man doing to my donkey?

Stakeland It's part of your problem, you know. You haven't seen enough movies. All of life's riddles are answered in the movies. And now, on with the show.
It's time for Sofa Theater. I'll take care of this. Why don't you go play with your sister? Oh, Mom, she's a pain in the ass. Okay, don't play with your sister.
Just hold it forward, okay? And keep an eye on your sister. Yeah, I'd rather watch Star Trek. Phaser's on dull. You've been trolled, you've been trolled.
You have probably been told. Don't reply to this guy, he is just getting a rise. Out of you. Yes, it's true, you respond and that's his cue. Two-star trouble on the double, all these strokes is manly stubble.
You've been trolled, you've been trolled, you should probably just vote. When the only winning move is not to play and yet you keep on trying mindlessly replying you've been trolled you've been trolled have a nice day all. Right we're back and um misty what are you calling this i don't forgot the sleepy time session yeah then wait. A minute The sleepy time session is another meltdown. We're back at the hotel now.
We're all cuddling in bed with our microphones. I got my jammies on. They have kittens on them. Well, the bottom parts do. We're wearing a shirt that says drop dead and has a skull on it.
That sounds about right. Yeah. But I love kittens. Your kitten pants. I got my kitten britches on.
Kitten britches. Kitten britches. I don't know. What kind of kittens are those? I think they're tabbies.
They're great. Well, no, I mean the illustrations are kind of like if anybody, which you probably don't, but if anybody out there has ever seen the child craft books, the illustrated kittens on her pants look like the illustrations out of child craft. It has butterflies, too. Well, that's just crazy. But they're great.
They're kittens, and they're chasing butterflies. They're chasing butterflies. Okay, that at least makes sense a little bit, kind of. Just if they were just picking another random wildlife to put on there. Yeah, they're...
How would you describe those kittens? They look kind of frisky. Not ready for bed. No, not ready for bed at all. Those kittens, they're not sleepy.
No, they're not sleepy at all. Wow. This is definitely a different round of us. Bedtime theater, which once. Again, you do that equally as much these days.
So, I'm kind of afraid to fall asleep, though, because I know Freddy Krueger is probably really close. To us right now. That's true. And I did run into Malcolm McDowell downstairs, so he might come tap, tap, tap, dancing his ass on in here in the middle of the night. Him and Freddy Krueger are going to have some kind of thing going on.
Singing in the rain, start kicking in the ribs. That's no way to wake up, let me tell you. No. You did lock the door, right? Or did I lock the door?
Yeah, you locked the door. Not that that would stop Freddy. That's true. I told you he's kind of, like, oozing through the wall in a second. Boyfriend held the elevator door open for Robert.
England earlier today. It was pretty exciting. He texted me. I was excited for him. There wasn't no Corey moment, but.
No Feldman. No Feldman moment. You weren't holding the mace at the time? No, I wasn't. I don't know why.
You should be holding a battle mace at all times. Yeah. I think it's illegal in Chicago. Probably. Everything's illegal in Chicago.
Yeah. We just do it underground. There's a special door somewhere where we keep all the. A boiler? The illegal gambling and illegal booze consumption.
Maces. Lame-ass gun laws. That's another rant. That's a whole different rant. Alright, are we ready to move into the special bedtime edition of Sofa Theater?
Sure. This week's Sofa Theater feature is the classic and mentioned earlier troll from our pal. What's your pal's name, Misty? Your favorite bestest friend. He winked at me multiple times, and not.
At all in a creepy fashion. Yeah, last time out. And he scared the bejesus out of me. I forgot to mention that earlier. He grabbed me and startled me.
Remember when he snuck up behind me and grabbed my shoulder? Well, it didn't scare me because I had the camera ready. But I was unprepared. I was unawares. He had snuck around his table.
Around the transvestite. Yeah. It was pretty damn fabulous. I don't remember his name. I don't know his name.
Sorry. Whatever it's named. Peaches, I don't remember. I think I saw one earlier. It seemed very nice.
It was in good spirits the whole time. Hold on. What's the other business card? It's Miss Fousey. Not peaches at all.
It's Hello Pineapple, Miss Fousey. Pineapple, peaches. Pineapple, peaches, Miss Fousey. Artist, hostess, and entertainer. Chicago, Illinois.
Oh, wow. Miss Fousey at MissFousey.com. Miss Fousey was awesome. Miss Fousey was very happy, I'm telling you. Great.
I liked her a lot better when I realized she didn't get the last glossy. Picture that I wanted. That would not have been cool. No. Miss Fousey stealing your shit.
Which one did she get? She wanted the same one I wanted, but Oh, she didn't get it, did she? No, she did, because they found it was buried in a different stack. And I was like, oh, my God, where did you find that glossy one? She's like, oh, it was hidden.
So then I pouted, and then. You got her way. I guess I got my way. No, I had to go through all of his photos looking for a glossy one, because he's so sweet. Because, damn it, I don't know if it was that he was so sweet, or if he was just not going to...
Yeah, I wanted you to quit pouting, because you were like, I want a glossy one. And he's like, I don't know if I got any left. And you're like, I don't want one now. And you start stomping the floor. I did not stomp my feet.
Shut up. And he was like. We'll probably leave it that he was nice. And he's going to pull one off the wall. Hell yeah.
All right. So we'll let him tell his story in a minute. But for the rest of the rundown here. Whose story? Noah Hathaway.
Oh. Oh, yeah. Okay. I forgot. Okay.
No, the rest of the rundown. The movie, once again, is Troll. The year is 1986. Director John Carl Bolcher, I guess is how you say that. The plot, according to IMDb, a wicked troll king in search of a mystical ring that will return him to his human form invades a San Francisco apartment complex where a powerful witch lives.
I call it bullshit, because that is not what the. Movie was about. Yeah, not at all. What are the odds IMDb has a plot that doesn't match up with the movie you just watched? Who writes some of these things on IMDb?
Anybody. Yeah. Anonymous, usually. Yeah, I'll write a review. So, I guess before we get to our take, we can let Noah tell his story.
And then we're kind of going back over Troll this week, too. Wow. What was that one like? Troll was fun. I mean, it was a great cast.
You know, they asked me to go and hang. Out in Italy for, I don't know, four months, and. The cast was amazing, so I was like, hell yeah, sure, why not? My favorite, you got top billing. Yeah.
June Lockhart, Sonny Bono, you're top billing. Yeah, I know. That's not too bad. It's not too bad. It's impressive.
And then, it's only years later, you were the first Harry Potter? Yeah, and Troll, yeah. What a weird coincidence, I guess. If you can call it that, I guess. Dealing with magic and creatures.
Yeah, I know. It's kind of similar in some ways, isn't it? Oh, and then that's another one. What was the effects with all the... I mean, you did a lot of puppets and stuff on that set.
Yeah, I mean, I love. My sister's been in special effects for 20-something years, so maybe it runs in the family. I love all that stuff. You know, it's fun. It gives you something to act off of also instead of just sitting in front of a green screen all day.
That was, I mean, yeah, you were sort of the center of that movie, more or less. What was that? I mean, I guess most scenes, a lot of that you're in, was it a harder shoot for you just being on set all the time? No, I mean, that's, you know, Jeff Fahey said something really cool to me. We just did this film together, and he said, you know, you get paid to sit around on set and do nothing and.
You work for free. You know, you act for free. So that's all part of the, you know, it's all part of the gig is to sit around and be on set all day long. So, you know, I mean, like I said, it could be a lot worse. I'm not, I will not complain.
He was such a cute little man. How old was he? It's 1986. How old was he? He has to be like 11 or 12.
He's the same age as you are. Is he? Wow. Maybe a little bit younger. I was going to say he seems a little bit younger, but I don't know.
So thank you to Noah for his take on it. So now we can go into our thoughts on it. So, all right. It didn't suck. Yeah.
Here's the thing. I'd seen this one, but it was a long time ago. I think probably like when it first hit video. And that's the last time I'd seen it. And I had it sort of, categorized one way in my head, and when I went back and watched it, it's a totally different type of movie.
I mean, I was shocked by how much it's just a fantasy movie. Like, it's almost like a kid's movie, to some extent, for the most part. Like, if you took out a few key scenes, you could easily market this to kids, and that probably is how it. Like Sonny Bono kicking the hooker out? Yeah, I mean, that's basically, it's like, it was so inconsistent.
It's like, 90% of it is this goofy kid's fantasy movie that would be fine to play to any little kid. And this is my theory that, okay, it's 86. We're just on the wave of PG-13 kicking in. So it's like, oh, we finally get to be able to throw some of this other stuff in there. So you get the creepy Sonny Bono character throwing shit around every other word.
I mean, he constantly is cursing in front of this small child. And then, so, I mean, that seemed oddly out of place. And then you get all the weird, like, violence and, like, gore stuff that they throw in just for the sake of throwing it in because, hey, it's PG-13, we can! Let's do it! So, I don't know, those, some of those scenes seemed, like, weird and out of place.
But the rest of it, yeah, I was kind of surprised how much it was, it was sort of, like, almost like a fun fantasy movie. Like, way more than I kind of remembered. Like, I remembered it being sort of a bad horror movie. And then going back and watching it, I'm like, it's not even horror at all. It's just a goofy, like, kid's story, like, storybook kind of movie.
I don't know. How long would it have been since you guys had seen it? I've never seen it. I mean, this is the first time I saw it. Hmm.
And just, and even, well, I mean, even in general, doesn't it seem like over the years it's been marketed more as a horror movie? Yeah, it has. Like, I hadn't heard much about it. I was always told that it was kind of a horror movie, like a bad. Horror movie, but it seemed a lot...
I think it kind of overshadowed it. For me as far as hearing stuff about it. I don't know. It did seem like one of those, you know, right on the borderline of being a kid's movie. It seemed a little more than that, and that's the thing.
I mean, I kind of remembered it being more of an adult kind of horror movie, and then getting into this, I was like, it just felt so much like a kid's movie that they just crammed some other stuff into to try to widen their audience all of a sudden. Yeah. An 80s kid's movie. Yeah. Not a.
Not a Disney. 2011 kids movie. A Disney-fied bullshit CGI-filled kids movie. I don't think his kids had better kid movies. I mean, I'm just partial, but...
Our kids movies didn't suck. They weren't as baby-fied and baby-fied. As they are now. Yeah, that's maybe the thing. I mean, looking back, maybe it's not that far removed.
Maybe I'm just thinking of more now-type projects that makes it seem a little inappropriate when they work in some of this other stuff. Because... thinking back to the 80's kids movies they were you know you could get away with a lot of stuff and they did and nobody thought twice about it really so I don't know I really. Didn't expect much going into this movie at all I'm like oh this is going to be cheesy this is. Going to be ridiculous but I was watching it and there were some parts I didn't really laugh I thought it was actually quite fun it was still cheesy and ridiculous. But I enjoyed it I guess maybe I was just in a really good mood that day.
I don't know well this is what i said to noah it's pretty impressive right off the bat top build how long was he doing i just thought that was kind of cool that over you know june lockhart and sunny bono and all these i mean he's still getting top billing that's that's pretty awesome all right uh do we want to address the fact that he's the first harry potter yeah he's harry potter Actually, his dad would be the first Harry Potter. Well, as the hero of the story, you know. I was making a connection. He asked the witch lady if she would make him. Oh, that's right.
If she would teach him how to be a wizard. Mm-hmm. I told that comic about that to Jay when I watched it. What's her name again? The witch?
The witch. june lockhart june lockhart yeah. It's just me or when she transformed she turned into one hell of a cougar. Okay well that's he pointed it out that's what's funny is like okay she she transforms from an old lady to a slightly young girl yeah i know i was like it's. Her daughter who plays the role i know. But i was like is that the same wow her hair looks great and then i was like she's a cool wait a minute but.
It's not like she well first of all I don't understand why I mean we're jumping way ahead but I don't understand why she had to turn like couldn't she just battle them anyway why did she have to turn a little younger and again if you were going to go back in time why didn't she like a 20 year old version of herself. Maybe she was a 20 year old version of herself because you're kind of in your 80s when. That's true I have no idea you. Know it's like chicks you thought were like wow she looks 40 she was really like you know 20 They didn't have all that age-defying cream that they got now. I guess.
I don't know. But it was weird. It almost made no sense why she transforms anyway. I'm like, okay. You know, she got tired blood and low iron and calcium deficiency in her bones or some.
Shit like that. She's not taking her super cow. Yeah, she's going to break a hip. She had to go back in time. I was going to run through some of this.
Okay, what was their obsession with freaking Rat Burgers? why why would you even write that oh i don't know that sounds like it was a joke i know but like and then the kid just rants about him for like 15 minutes yeah what is it i mean wouldn't that again it serves its purpose to the story but like if your child was behaving the way she was in the first 10-15 minutes first of all beat that child And second of all, wouldn't you have her committed by the time she was, like, frothing at the mouth and screaming rat burrs over and over again? Oh, yeah, no, no, no, it's so cute. She's so cute. She's so funny. All of a sudden, for a second, she just giggles, and it's like, oh, honey, you're okay.
There's nothing wrong with you mentally. It was like straight jack at that child. Oh, then we get to meet the neighbors, and right off the bat, Sonny's a jackass. He is, isn't he? Which, it makes me wonder what prompted him to take this.
I mean, he hasn't, at that point, hadn't done a lot of acting, certainly not movie. I mean, he had his own TV show, but he wasn't really known as a film actor, so why he chose to make his big breakout role Troll, I don't know. And then why would you pick this role? Because you're horrible in it. Like, you're a terrible person the whole time.
I don't know. I thought that was so weird. I mean, I like Sonny. He's cool and all, but. But he played the sleazy asshole so perfectly.
I guess. I mean, it wasn't bad casting. It just seems odd from his perspective to put yourself in this sleazy character and you're iced right off the bat. So that's why I thought maybe he was just doing somebody a favor. He's just, I don't want to be in it long.
Just kill me quick. Hurry up. I don't know. I was more partial to the other neighbor. Which military guy?
Crazy guy. Yeah, dude. He reminded me of Terry off of True Blood. Yeah. Oh, Terry on True Blood?
Yeah. He's funny. I can't remember the guy's name from the movie, though. Yeah, me neither. Bart?
Bart? No, I wouldn't like his name. Bart? Bart. And then we meet Elaine.
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I forgot about Elaine. Little itty bitty Elaine back when she was... I think this was like her first movie at least this was her first role as a big film star how.
Does she turn into not becoming a hideously deformed creature she was a girl the troll. Wanted to pet that. Yeah you know I guess he multiplied her and made her a wood nymph a. Wood nymph she was she was a nymph of some sort I'm multiplying him. I'm sure Oregon has something to get rid of.
You've got to pay extra for that, though. It's an extra service charge. The other thing that made me really realize how much it felt like a kid's movie was bringing in the whole Gene Lockhart character. Mrs. Sinclair.
She was awesome. She was awesome, actually. The more I watched, I was like, no wonder. If I was this kid, I'd go hang out at her house, too. She's got cool stuff.
She's got weapons on the wall. She's kind of like a creepy old lady. She dresses sort of goth, and she curses in front of kids, too. It kind of. Reminds me of my grandma.
Yeah, kind of. My grandma wasn't dressed goth. She calls you up and yells at you for calling. Yeah, really. She called me up to.
We're at the convention. She's like, who is this? I was like, this is Jay. She's like, why do I have your number on my phone? I was like, because you called me.
That's a girl. Apparently I have a New Haven number, which we don't know why. And she couldn't figure out who it was that was in New Haven that was calling her who she was calling. She don't put up with no shit. She does not put up with any shit.
Yeah, immediately. Who the hell is this? But yeah, I like that old lady. Yeah, that was awesome. She was the smartest.
Yeah. I liked her. We skipped over one of my favorite scenes. The weird musical scene. The singing trolls.
What the fuck was that? I wanted to ask him about that. That was a what the fuck moment because as that kicked in I was just like how did this movie get made? Thank you. I just started laughing.
I'm like, once again, now it's kind of awesome, but I'm just like, what? Yeah, I had a really puzzled look on my face. I'm just kind of like, what the hell is going on here? I started thinking maybe Misty snuck some stuff in my drink. And you were seeing trolls and ghoulies.
That's my favorite, is the people turn into pods. Yeah. And it creates a jungle, and then out comes Ghoulies. Yeah. It really is, because that guy did the makeup on Ghoulies.
So, basically, he's using the same design, and then a few years later, directed Ghoulies 3. Do you know the subtitle to Ghoulies 3? Ghoulies 3. I'm not making this up. Oh, electrical.
No, it's even better. Ghoulies go to college. What? Is there any Dangerfield in this one? Oh, back to Ghoulies go to college.
Yeah, so yeah, that I think is hilarious, Ghoulies go to college. But yeah, he directed that, and I think he had done makeup on a whole bunch of those beforehand. So yeah, he really did. It's like it was nothing but Ghoulies and then a miniature little Gilman. Remember the one guy.
That looked like a little creature? Yeah, he did. What was that about? That was awesome. That was his little homage to the creature.
He says, like, I really like classic horror, but instead I'm making this crazy-ass troll movie. Yeah, that whole scene was just phenomenal. Yeah. But then, so the Miss Sinclair, like, that part is the part that, like, really feels like you're reading, like, a kid's book, almost. You know, like, where the main character kid is talking about the creepy old lady that lives upstairs, and then they They're kind of intrigued by her, and they're going to go up there and try to learn about her.
I don't know. That part just really felt very kid's storybook-like to me, which is, I think, when I started realizing this isn't a horror movie at all. This is just a kid's fantasy movie with some foul language and horror grossness thrown in. And she has a mushroom with a face. Yeah, that was kind of crazy.
Yeah, that was weird. That was strange. But again, very magical, just sort of sitting around her house. She's a crazy old magical lady. That she turns it into a lamp.
Or a mushroom. Lamp head. Have you seen my sister? No. Oh, good.
Can I come in? I think I'm going to throw up. How can I resist an offer like that? Go on in. The bathroom's on the right.
All of the apartments are pretty bitchin'. Sonny's bitchin' bachelor pad. I mean, when you put racing stripes on the walls of your house. I'm surprised you haven't had to do that yet, Jay. And the dragons.
You know, you want to put the big gold dragon up there. I liked his dancing moves that he was doing. Those were pretty sweet. His seducing the lady moves, or whatever the hell they were, or the after play. Well it worked obviously you saw that sweet piece of ass he.
Had in there that was the junk shaker. Oh lord oh but then you get to the other you get to Duke your favorite guy dude that was his name snakeskin wallpaper is awesome yeah yeah. I was like did he just have snakeskin wallpaper cause. That's fucking awesome that is fucking awesome That I would put up there with my dragon on the wall. The racing stripes.
Racing stripes would not go well with your snakeskin wallpaper. It would try to clash, but it would be so awesome you couldn't argue with it. I don't know about that. I also like that Duke keeps a loaded gun on the wall. Not just that he has guns hanging about, but it was loaded.
What's wrong with that? You never know when you're going to need it. That's why I keep mine. So then I was going to go into, we meet her little friend, Malcolm. Malcolm was awesome.
Malcolm is awesome. He's like the best actor, and I'm not counting the troll makeup. But as actors go, I'm like, that guy's good. Granted, he's been in a ton of movies, but it was funny just watching him. I'm like, this guy's actually really good.
He should get normal guy roles more often. All they ever do is cast him in crazy troll movies, but. I told Jay that if Izzy ever brings home a midget, that. Would not go over well. Why?
You have a problem with bringing a little friend over? It's just creepy. We got a little guy that lives in our neighborhood. Not that midgets are creepy. I just don't.
The guy's cool. I want to be his friend. You wouldn't feel creeped out if Izzy brought him over? If he was hanging out? No.
If he's hanging out with your kids? What? Never mind. That would be a red flag. I would be worried.
Well, I mean, they were really hanging out. She just, like, met him. As the movie went on, they kind of are. Yeah, they kind of are. The mom and dad didn't know that.
Yeah, but you've got to think about it. The reason she's hanging out with him is not because she's a little girl. It's because she's a troll. Yeah. In a girl's body, thinking that he is a troll.
Her parents don't know that. Yeah, their parents, back in the 80s, parents were stupid anyway. They didn't really care. You let your kids go outside and play all damn day. You didn't know where the fuck they were, and they showed up around dinner time.
You would drop them off with strangers, and they would be fine. Yeah. That was going to be one of my main questions about this movie, is who's watching these damn kids? Nobody. You don't have to.
Back in the 80s, nobody watched you. Not even the little girl, because once again, she was a troll, and she was out of her mind. But even Noah, I'm like... Would you let your young boy go hang out with this old lady? Talk about cougar.
I mean, this old lady lives upstairs, and he's spending all day there. And if they'd have been watching her in the first place, she wouldn't have ended up getting snatched by a troll in the first place. I know. Dude, I don't know, man. When I was eight, when I was growing up, I was running around the woods.
Did you ever get snatched by a troll? Never got snatched by a troll. Son of a bitch. I could shoot a gun by the time I was eight, you know? That's why I never got snatched by a troll.
That's why I never got snatched by a damn troll. No, until you were 13, son. Yeah, no, you know, I mean, I was eight, and it was one of those things where I had my bicycle, and my mom locked me out of the house because Days of Our Lives or whatever soap opera she was watching started, and I was not allowed to come in the damn house the whole time she was watching her soaps. Sorry to stay outside. Her stories.
Her stories. I had to stay outside. If you want a drink of water, you drink it out of the garden hose. And you got your bicycle. You want to eat, you eat bugs and berries.
And I rode everywhere. I mean, my nearest friend lived probably about two and a half miles away, so I had to ride my bike two and a half miles on a road. You know, I could have got hit by a car. I could have got snatched. But, you know.
It was a different world. It was a different world back then. Obviously, because you let your kid go upstairs with the creepy old lady. Yeah. But, yeah, that's what I thought was funny was just how much, not just one, but both of the kids are just hanging out in other people's apartments.
I mean, if you lived in an apartment complex and the kid downstairs came up and just started hanging out in your house, wouldn't you be like, It's in my house. Peepholes are for. I'm opening that door. I can't see somebody. That's what I was thinking.
I assume they're kids or midgets. Don't open the door. Again, I have nothing against midgets. I still don't like kids, though. That's a given.
That isn't Spot, our pet, Nancy. That's something that looks like Spot, acts like Spot, even smells like Spot. But in reality, it's a Martian. You mean. Yes.
Our dog is a pod person from the planet Mars. Okay, I want to watch the pod person movie about Mars that he keeps turning on. Because that looks pretty awesome. Yeah, it does. It's very repetitive.
But they're explaining all the rules to you. Over and over again. They did shoot all that themselves, I think. I think it is like the band guys, the producer. Yeah, so I think they shot all that footage themselves, which is funny.
Okay, I'm assuming if anybody noticed this, how many times did he mention Star Trek in this movie? A lot. I think like three times. Actually, that was the first time he said he said Star Trek, so. That didn't count.
Because Star Trek, I would say it was Star Trek. It might be. No, I don't think so. But how come the first time it was almost negative? It was almost like it was like...
Like he's talking shit about it. Yeah, like it was the worst thing he could imagine, and then later he was like a big dork and he liked it. So I was like, this is inconsistent. When I was a kid, they were usually kind of wishy-washy. I guess, but it was funny how many times in this one, like, hour and a half movie, like, how many times can you work that plug in for Star Trek?
Can we talk about the creepy pictures of Noah Haskell we found on the internet? No. Would you like to take a creepy Noah Haskell? I don't mind you reminding me about those when we were talking to him. That's all I probably would have said.
Okay. Now, what he was talking about earlier, I'm talking to him, and the reason, I remember, Misty, we were talking about this, that he had a Facebook page, and then I was like, oh, yeah, I was going to message him before he got there, but it was just gone. And when I was talking to him today, he said somebody hacked it. And he was talking about how it was a shame because he'd lost some pictures that he had on there. And I'm like, oh, I think I know which ones you're talking about.
Yeah. Okay, Miss, did you describe your favorite photos you found on the internet? Dude, they made me feel dirty. I feel like I had to take a shower afterwards. I'm pretty sure, like, the police are going to come knocking on my door any day just for looking and sending me.
Pictures for a ride. Yeah, thanks, and you forwarded them to me. I did, dude, totally. Jerk. I mean, they are some, like...
How old would you say he is in these photos? I mean, it's around the same time as this movie, right? So, yeah, 12 or 13, probably. And he's wearing these, like, Really short. Bike shorts.
They're jeans. I think they're, like, jeans, aren't they? Oh, they look like biking shorts, like the old biking shorts. These were, like. They look like just that stuff they used to sell as, like, athletic shorts.
That's what I'm talking about. Athletic shorts were, like. Not bicycle, but it was the brand bike shorts. Yeah, okay. Yeah.
Like coaches wore. Yeah, the ones that are way, way, way too short. And it's made out of some weird material. It's not jean. It looks like jean, but it's, like, polyester.
Yeah. It's, oh, it's just weird. They were creepy back in the day. They were wearing these really, really tight, short shorts. White shorts.
White. And there's a pose of him, like, on the bed. And there's several poses on the bed. Those creep me out, by the way. Why did you make me look at those?
One of them laying on his stomach, kind of gazing long. Over his shoulder with his ass. No. Yeah. What kind of kid pictures are these?
Dirty, like, pedophile pictures. Wow. I don't know. These Hollywood producer guys or whatever photographer they hired, I don't know. Of course I saw them.
I was looking for pictures on eBay. I wasn't specifically seeking out strangers. I was looking up Noah Hathaway on eBay to see if there was anything like anything. Cool stuff on there to purchase. And I found these pictures and I'm like, oh my god, Jay, you have to look at these.
And of course, you know, I'm sitting off of Motorcycle Land and looking at parts on eBay and shit like that. And then I show you parts. And, you know, that's not the kind of parts I want to see. You know? Got suckered in on that one, too.
And it was just, yeah, it was. That's what I told her. I was like, you better quit looking at that. The FBI is going to come get you. I never said it on eBay.
I wasn't looking at pity porn. I don't know. It's a fine line, though. Those pictures are scary. They are.
Of course, I. Had to forward them on to Brian. Yeah, of course. I mean, there's no nudity in them or anything like that, but there's very, very, very suggestive posing. Creepy.
Yeah. I feel bad for Noah just knowing that they're out there. Yeah. And of course Jay's like, dude, you should print one of those out and. Have him sign it.
Because I'm a bastard like that. Then I said it would be so much cooler if you asked him to sign it, Jay. Yeah, can you sign right here? Sign right across your ass. I'm not creepy enough to pull that off.
Yeah, Brian, let's do it to you. Wait a minute. I'm like a young boy. Anyway, so I don't know. Was there any more to the creepy photo story?
No, that was about it. That's all about the creepy photos. Hopefully, you're not out there buying them, people, because they were creepy. Yeah, Noah, I feel sorry that you had to take those photos. Some producer or agent made you do it.
Creepy. Okay. He's not going to listen to this and be traumatized, is he? Probably. I don't blame him.
I would have been traumatized by those photos, too. That's not like bringing up repressed memories or something. I don't know. It was probably one of those things that at the time happened and he probably didn't really, I mean, you're a kid and you don't know. And then now you look back at it and you're like, man, what the fuck, dude?
This guy took pictures of me? God, I want to kick his ass. You know? And now he could. Yeah, yeah, he could.
Awesome. But, I don't know. I don't know, though, because back then it was the 80s. I got pictures of. Are there pictures of you in those short shorts?
Yeah, actually there is. Tight ones? Yeah, tight ones. Little tight biking shorts. I'm sure I have.
Half cut off mesh jersey. I think about some of the clothes they gave me as a kid. You wore that back then. Did you pose like that? No, I was climbing fake mountains.
I was riding my my Evel Knievel bike. Around yeah you know you did stuff like that I don't know now it's it's more at home at like kind of a gay club. But how did that happen you. Know and why did it switch where now if people saw that with their kids they would freak out I know but like I mean you wouldn't even thought twice. In the 80s about something like that I mean guys went to school with like you know shit like that.
Yeah it's very strange this didn't make any sense to me Very strange. I got a picture of me in Boy Scouts like that. Big old huge trucker Boy Scout cap and little half cut off football jersey t-shirt. Why am I not doing these pictures? Because they're buried somewhere deep far in that big pile of junk in my dad's basement.
You hit him there on purpose. Thank you. I didn't have to do any hiding. His junk does all the hiding. Wait a minute.
There's too much crap in his face. This is getting creepy in a whole different way now. Yeah, lots of kind of junk, Misty. Creepy. Yeah, I think it's still creepy for you to go back and look at him now.
Even though you're with him and he's of legal age now. I know. I don't think it makes it any less creepy for you to go look at those photos. I'm not going to look at him like that. Ooh, hey, baby, look at that.
I'm like, look how retarded you look. I don't know. It's a fine line. Okay, have we worn out the creepy photos there? I think so.
I'm sorry, man. Yeah, we all feel bad. That those photos exist. So, okay, back to the troll. So, is it just me, or is the troll a complete and utter jackass the entire rest of the movie, but, like, anytime he's around Malcolm, he's kind of cool.
Like, all of a sudden, I mean, usually he's the little girl, but, like, When he is talking to him, he becomes like a regular person and he can have a conversation. Wait, which one's Malcolm again? The little guy. Because it's his buddy. I know, but.
He has a connection to him. Yeah. But seriously, like he's such an asshole. The rest of the movie, like you can't stand him the rest of the time. Because everybody else is human.
I know. I don't like humans either. I'm just like, as a movie, it's so imbalanced. I'm just like. I, like, through most of this movie, I'm like, man, I hate this guy, he's kind of the villain, let's get rid of him, come on, Noah, go, you know, kick his ass, and then you get those scenes with him and Malcolm, and it's just like, he becomes kind of, all of a sudden you lose your villain, and I'm like, wait, I don't hate him now, he's not a complete jackass now, like, he's got some plan, and he's trying to, you know, make things great for all the little people of the world, or whatever, and.
I don't know. Because that guy's dying of something. Yeah. I don't remember what it was. That's the other part.
All of a sudden, then it gets like this bittersweet moment of, oh, look, he's trying to help him. And I'm just like, wait, we hated this guy a few minutes ago. Why now are you trying to have these redeeming qualities in this creepy little troll bastard? Yeah, he turned him into a tiny little. pan troll fucking thing. Go boy.
It was weird, because it was just recognizable enough that it didn't kind of look like him. Yeah. It was weird. Yeah, strange. It is weird that the, I mean, the whole point of most.
Of the movie is let's turn this apartment building into a fantasy realm. Like, that's kind of the whole movie. All he does is stab people and turn everything into like a jungle thing. for fantasy creatures to roam about i don't know it's a weird plot really for a movie i. Forget what their whole reasoning behind it was it each part is that each room they took over and once he converted once the entire building was converted over it would become like a permanent passageway to fairyland. Or something like that yeah i.
Don't know i didn't say it makes sense i'm just. Yeah whatever It's just weird. That was pretty much the bulk of the story. Like, every new scene, it was just him claiming, completely conquering the next apartment in the complex. Very strange.
Now, I'm trying to remember, was it during the story of the old lady, the Miss Sinclair, telling the story that she used the phrase, rebel fairies? Because I decided that needs to be like an awesomely bad metal band. Yeah. Rebel fairies. I don't know.
I'm pretty sure she used that phrase. Flame at connection. Yeah. I'm like, rebel fairies. There's just something odd about that whole phrase.
And then she gets turned into a talking tree stump. Don't you hate when that happens? Once again, a very fantasy-oriented movie. This is just not the movie I remembered or expected going in. It's just such a weird fantasy movie.
Hmm. I mean, hell, even in there, they put the princess in a glass coffin. I mean, really, it's straight out of Snow White. It's kind of funny. I can go on my nerves.
Which the little bratty child. Yeah, even before she was a troll, I didn't like her. Yeah, she was kind of already obnoxious. You get to that end there, and you've got him battling this beast. That's the way to save thing is the heart of Turok's universe or whatever she tells him, and he has to go destroy it.
So if you could create a monster or heart or whatever that's controlling your whole universe, why wouldn't you make it smart enough to not eat the princesses? Yeah, it doesn't make any sense. I mean, he's what's controlling his whole universe. She's the key to the whole plan. Why would the monster then go eat the princess?
Why would he try to attack the princess? That is the whole reason. I mean, you created him. You should have instilled in him the protect her at all costs. Or, like, yeah, I don't know.
I thought that was, again, like that last wrap-up just sort of made no sense of, here, we need this to go horribly wrong. Because it would make sense if, like, Noah was trying to kill him with the spear. But in the end, it ends up the troll does to save the princess. But I'm like, this was your monster. There's a lot of things in this movie that don't make sense.
I guess. Don't dwell on that one. We could dwell more on the singing than that one. Okay, explain that one to me. There is no sense to that one.
Some things in this movie just don't make sense. You could sit and try to make sense out of them, but that's not going to happen. You cannot sense-ify this movie. That may be the case. I was kind of glad that the kids share the same room, too.
Yeah, I think that's illegal, isn't it? I'm pretty sure a boy and girl can't share the same room. I think if you're of the same gender, you can double or triple up on them, which to me still kind of sucks, but that's just because I don't want to room with any other little bratty kid. But yeah, I thought officially you really weren't legally supposed to put boys and girls in the same rooms. I don't know if it.
Was an official matter. It just kind of creeped me out. I think it is. I'm sure today it probably is an official matter. Maybe, again, the 80s relaxed.
Maybe you could get away with that then. I guess. Yeah, that part creeped me out. Oh, man. Anything else in general?
We're, I guess, kind of running through most of it here. So what else? What was your final take on it, Misty? I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I kind of did, too.
I have to agree. I kind of had low expectations. I mean, as much built up as I've heard for Troll 2, I'm like, this movie's going to suck. But it's not going to have the epic suckage of Troll 2. So I went into it, and I'm like, okay, I'll just watch it.
It's got to know it half the way. We're going to see him at a convention. We'll watch more than one of his movies. And I figured it was easier to watch that than try to pack in all of Battlestar Galactica. So, yeah, I actually really ended up liking it.
I liked it better than I liked the one with the shotgun. So, yeah, I gave it two thumbs up, surprisingly enough. How about you, boyfriend? What? What?
What is your overall feeling on the movie? I liked it. It's good. I wish that this was the thinky time version. Again, I had seen it, but it had been so long ago, about the only thing I remembered, well, that Sonny Bono was in it for one thing, but other than that, I also remembered that it had that troll in it, and the troll was kind of a jerk, and I remember not liking the troll the whole time, and that's sort of what I took from it, and forgot pretty much all the rest of the plot.
So, yeah, once you take, I mean, because he's still watching it, and he's still a jerk the whole time. I still don't like that troll character, which is funny, because it's played by the same character, it's the same actor as Malcolm, and he's really good as Malcolm, so why he comes off as such a terrible, I don't know, it's weird, but aside from that, it's like you take that creepy character out of it and it's kind of an interesting little fantasy movie it's a lot more fun than I remembered it's a lot more fun if you can get past some of the cheesiness of it and just sort of watch it it's more fun than I expected going back into it and here's what's really funny I'm not sure if you're aware of this but when you look it up online it's listed as in pre-production for a troll remake in 2012 oh no But it's actually the original director himself is going back and redoing his own property.
So it's not like they're handing it off to some Platinum Dunes loser, which, hell, who knows, it could still end up going there. But, I mean, the fact that it is the same director, it's kind of. There's no half of it in it? I would hope they would at least bring him back to do something. He'd be the dad.
Yeah, well. I want to see him rock out like that guy. Oh, yeah, I got... Dads in sweaters and chinos don't need to be rocking out in their living room, by the way. That's just a general rule.
It creeps everybody out. So, yeah, I don't know. Does Noel fit the dad in chinos rule? He seems too cool for that now. That's gotta be a twist, you see.
He'd be the kick-ass dad. I guess. He's a tattooed dad. Oh, maybe he can be the Sonny Bonobor. No.
He can be like, hey, ladies. He can wink at him and bring him into his racing-striped apartment. Hmm. I haven't seen that. That'd be fun.
I'd fall for that. I'd see. I thought you'd eventually come around to that. That would be a fun little spin on it, actually. You obviously can't get Sonny to come back anymore, so, yeah.
Why haven't you made any movies? He's slacking off, that's why. Don't they just make you so sad? Yes, it does. So, yeah.
That could be interesting, yeah. Bring Noah back in to do the... Do the bachelor, sleazy bachelor guy. Or they could bring him in and he could be the wizard. The lizard instead of the witch.
That could be too. And the troll could be a chick. See, I'm fucking your shit all up. I am taking your world, putting it on the other end. You're just really mixing it up because it wouldn't even be the old lady that lives upstairs.
It'd just be that cool dude with a mohawk that lives there. Dude, seriously. Then I'd be hanging out there all the time. Yeah, that's true. You're huge.
Your mom would wonder what you were doing upstairs all day. Oh, wait, now I know. Making time with Noah. All right, is that it for you for a troll? All right, well, once again, we liked it a little more than expected, and it's definitely a lot more fun knowing that Noah had fun making it, and seems to still think it's pretty fun to watch now, so.
I think that will wrap up Troll, and I think we will wrap up this week's episode. So, since everybody's falling asleep here anyway. Yeah, come get your microphone off my belly. Yeah, I guess so. Turn off all the lights while you're up.
Nice. Real nice. Yep. Otherwise, that about does it. We will return next week with more exciting adventures from the con here.
No telling what we'll get into, but we'll see how that goes. All right, we will return next week. Same geek time, same geek feed. Thanks for listening. Good night.
Good night. Good night from Jay, who's asleep. I guess you don't necessarily have to go to sleep listening right now, but we're going to sleep, so good night. Good night. Sleep tight.
Don't let the bed bugs bite. And if they do, just throw your shoe and say, I don't want to sleep with you. Good night. Wow. Where's a troll we need?
They look like big, good, strong hands, don't they? I always thought that's what they were. This isn't who I am From confidence to self-doubt In. 60 seconds Storming stages and stereos. From here to.
There Trying to prove that I belong Trying to win approval. People that I don't know. Than trees so I mean what I say. Is it just this disease. Where I never go.
Home never telling the truth how this life. Feeds away admitting I'm fake and I'm questioning whether this whole thing was worth it to die for. And all I like children.
