And it's so easy when you're evil. This is the life you see. The devil tips his hat to me. I do it all because I'm evil. And I do it.

All for free. Your tears are all the pay I'll ever need. So, obviously, we need to get to our holiday-themed movie threat, which I didn't... Actually, I have seen things out in the real world lately, but they weren't holiday themed. But I've stored them away, so we have some new ridiculous things I've come across lately that will be our upcoming movie threats.

This one came from when I finished our movie of the week. This week, it popped up as the next suggestion. Christmas Evil. I got that suggestion too. I assumed we watched it on the same free because nobody wants to pay for the movie we had to watch.

I did not pay a damn. Thankfully. But that aside. And I still feel like I'm owed a refund. We'll get to that later.

But then I watched. I was like, huh. I know the title. I know the poster art. I'm like, have I seen this?

And then it said, play trailer. And then I like that about half of those, when they go, play trailer, it's just a clip. Yeah. So it's just me watching two minutes of the movie somewhere in the middle of the movie that makes absolutely no sense of Christmas Evil. So it's a movie.

Originally titled You Better Watch Out. I like that we've already burnt that one. I'm like, well, that could have been an entirely different horror Christmas thing. It looks relatively low budget. But, you know, it's the kind of thing somebody could force us to watch.

Let's see. The plot, according to IMDb, says, A toy factory worker mentally scarred as a child upon learning Santa Claus... Oh, spoilers for life. Santa Claus is not real. What?

Suffers a nervous breakdown after being belittled at work and embarks on a Yuletide killing spree. Isn't that like... Very similar to what happened in. No, this is completely different. From what we watched.

Yeah. So, I mean, you know, we don't have to watch that one. The point is, you can suggest a movie better than this one, and we can watch it any time throughout the year, or we'll be back next Christmas to watch more. Or, as I always say, you can go the other route and make us watch something even worse. I don't know, that looked pretty rough, but...

I'm sure there's terrible, terrible things out there. Oh, I just now got the title Christmas Evil. Very weird when you guys were talking about me being on the spectrum. I mean, we haven't gotten a test back yet. Speaking of people that say ridiculous things, we also say a lot of ridiculous things like this.

When you think of Bugs Bunny, do you think of Space Jam? You do what you need to do. Just use a P.O. box. They don't know your address. You're safe with OnlyFans.

You're safe with guys that would pay money to see your feet. Yeah, totally. Those guys are fine. I don't know where to go with that. I do.

There is a level of self-indulgence here that I cannot get on board with. Wow. Are you making this up? I don't know that that's a real thing. It was one of the most low-budget movies I've ever seen.

I'm saying something for this show. What annoys me so much about that, I mean, aside from all of the obvious things, is just that. The little brother wasn't in like any of those scenes. So how would you know? I don't even remember there being a little brother.

That's what I don't get. Cause they even cut to like, he's having the flashback and I'm like, but the kid watching what's happening that was traumatized is your brother. Not you. You're in the back of the car that can't see a damn thing. Not being traumatized right now.

And I think also a baby. Yeah. He was in a car seat in the back of the car. And it's about two cops who are looking for a missing teenage girl. And they start asking around, have you seen this girl?

Oh, yeah. She's hanging out with Charlie. Charlie who? Oh, Charlie Manson. Oh.

So it takes, as a jumping off point, it takes several things. What if you were trapped in the post-apocalyptic world with your in-laws? That's very strange. I don't like. Well, see, that's the thing.

I watched it at the time. I liked it. And I was like, it was fine. Like, I liked it at the time. Yeah, like, it's fine.

And as time went on, I went, this is not really a very good show. I'm trying to, like, remember the plot, but the plot made very little sense, and I don't think really mattered anyway. Yeah, yeah. Like most people we watch on here. And the tone was so weird.

I assumed he was involved in some sort of crazy mysteries of the occult and looking for aliens or something. No. I assume that with everything he does at this point. Just murder. He's in some sort of weird rom-com now, too, and I still feel like at some point aliens are going to show up.

Man, and I just did not buy Ricky as a threatening person at all. He was so. See? That's the thing. I was like, oh, what's happening?

A threat to your fantasy football team. But otherwise. Even when he was trying to be all into it, it was. Like, shut up. Even when he had a gun.

Yeah. And then the big climax at the end is that, you know, all the people who work at this place are revealed to be in this cult, and they are wearing, like, the most party city, like, black vampire capes. Are they plastic? Like, the really thin fabric that you can see through. Nice.

And so it's just, like, these, like, middle-aged British people in normal clothes, but they just have. Oh, it's British. You left that part out. This explains a lot more. It's British.

Some event has happened. The world's probably falling apart right now. But we just have to sort of deal with our situation as it stands. And then when they got done with those flashbacks, I was like, well, how do they move this? Oh, there's more flashbacks.

Okay. Well, and then, like, he's so combative with the psychiatrist, but then his flashback narration voice is so, like, Calm and peaceful and normal. It's almost like Morgan Freeman. Was narrating this movie. Yeah, he's like, Billy, I'm like, what are you?

Get busy murdering. Get busy dying. And if you're the kind of person that doesn't know who Thoreau Ravenscroft is, there's something wrong with your life. He apparently had to undergo training by the CIA on how to withstand torture. But, if reinforced, give yourself a huge backstock of physical media.

Keep physical media around. Because at any moment, the entire network goes down. You ain't going to be streaming a damn thing. So, there you go. That's the real takeaway from this.

Buy more ridiculously old physical media. Sure. And then get a generator, I guess. Oh, boy. Brian, that's fantastic.

For those of you at home, I have just been gifted a statue of a dog wearing a tuxedo, playing the drums, and it is a music box. And I'd say don't wind it up because I can't explain the song. I have no idea what that song is. See, I forgot it was musical until I got it back out to give it to you this week. And then I went, oh yeah, what the hell is it?

And I went, is that Dixie? Is it? I was like, first of all, no. Second of all, why that? Totally.

If anything makes no sense. I mean, everything about this makes no sense. It's a dog playing drums. That makes no sense to me. He's also a fancy dog wearing a tuxedo.

But then the music is Dixie. It's the weirdest shit. I've ever seen. Which is why I love it. Honestly, this needs to be in Phillip's place.

This is so incredibly detailed. I know. I was just like, ah, damn it. I would almost buy it, but then I would feel bad that I didn't give it to you. From the wrong angle, though, the dog appears to be looking into my soul, so.

We're going to keep moving. I know his face is very, very haunting. I don't get it, but When does the song stop? Never. That's the other reason I'd say.

Probably never wind it up again because it might go on for the rest of your life. Still going. If that's not Dixie, it's very close. It's something that's going to get them sued, except that's probably public domain. I'm sure it is public domain.

Which makes me feel like whatever country this was made in, at the factory, somebody said, hey, find a song we don't have to pay for. Find a free song. And they were like, okay. I thought it stopped. It will never stop.

It's slowing down. He's looking at me again. This is beautiful. I will treasure this always. And amazing.

And I was like, damn it. You have to name him. Ralphus. Ralphus. Yeah.

Do I wait or do I open it? I say go for it. Because I know you have a book version. But you probably don't have a VHS copy of the Vovich. They made that?

That's what I said. Apparently. And then I went looking and I was like, I think it was a weird super geek specialized thing. Oh, okay. That it may or may not have the art.

Could just be porn for all I know. I don't even have a working machine. And I'm like, I know you don't either, but I'm like, for a real hardcore collector, I feel like you have to have that. I sincerely hope that that cassette is The full six hours of some guy sitting there going, you're playing this? You have a VCR?

I can't believe you bought this, you moron. Wow. So, I don't know where we go from here, but... I. Think down, actually.

Everything's downhill for this book. What year did The Vich come out? 2016? Oh my god. Pretty recent.

Yeah. For VHS, anyway. There's Black Phillip. Now I'm just, I want to know what else is on here. I want to know if it works, but I don't have a VHS player.

I mean. I bet my dad does somewhere. He probably does. Well, now I know what to get you for a wedding present. That'd be amazing.

It's got duct tape on it. This was the best. One I could find. It cost $ 300. Sadly, at this.

Point, it kind of does. I saw refurbished VCRs on the Walmart website, and they were like $ 300 and $ 400. Right. Because I got excited until I saw the price tag. Yeah.

So ridiculous. Well, that's what's weird, is they're not cheap when you find tapes now. I'm shocked when I find one, because I have bought a few lately, of just dumb nostalgia. And I'm like, obviously I need a big box version of American Ninja. Duh!

I mean, do I have anything to play on? No, and I wouldn't anyway, because I would eat it, I'm sure. But. You have so much media that's just not playable. I have so pointless media.

It's so ridiculous. I'm waiting for the day I come over and you're like, look at these floppy disks I bought. I mean, I have some upstairs. I know. Do you have any laser disks?

Boxes. Laser disks. And the player still worked last I hooked it up. That was two moves ago. I have not re-hooked it up since then.

I would because there are things I have that I haven't seen anywhere else. And I'm like, I would watch that on Laserdisc. But do you have any of the old school video discs that were basically records? Yes, I do. Only recently.

I didn't have any back in the day. And then lately I've run across one or two that had different artwork that I've never seen anywhere else. Some of the artwork on those are fantastic. And it was just weird. Again, I'm only kind of on Bond stuff anyway.

But there was like a Dr. No that I'm like, I've never seen this artwork anywhere. A million VHS copies, DVD copies, never seen this artwork. I'm like, all right. I mean, it was like a couple bucks.

I'm like, obviously I need this to sit somewhere. I don't know where. I can't get to things. Hell, that's why I can't get to anything else to put anything up. I'm like, I don't know where that shit is.

It's jammed behind 900 other things. Accumulating things. It's so detailed. I mean. And heavy.

It's hardcore. So go to MovieMeltdown.com and join the Meltdown Horror Club and give us something to watch that's evil or enjoyable or somewhere in between. We'll watch anything. Somewhere in that spectrum. That's the spectrum we need.
