Episode 21. Student Bodies

Riper than a barrel of autumn apples, the ladies reunite for an October-y double feature of high school hijinks. Up first is 1998’s The Faculty, written by Kevin Williamson, directed by Robert Rodriguez, and starring Everybody You’ve Ever Seen In a Movie Ever. They follow it up with the polarizing Karyn Kusama/Diablo Cody horror comedy/comedy horror Jennifer’s Body. Also on the discussion docket is a fairly thorough look at the Scream franchise, an exploration of why When a Stranger Calls had such an effect on the Mom Generation of the 1970s, and what it means to be a mother to a constipated cat (not a double entendre).
