Our nuclear reactor pumping out one million kilowatts of power. Whoa, trick or treat. What's going on? This vaginal discharge won't let us partake in the partay. Boys and girls of every age, wouldn't you like to see something strange?

Come with us and you will see, this our town of Halloween. This is Halloween, this is Halloween. Don't you scream, we're dead all night. This is Halloween, everybody may see. Don't cheat on the game, it's gonna die right inside.

What's up? Welcome to Movie Meltdown and Happy Halloween! I am Brian. I am Misty. I'm Jay.

I'm Marlena. Marlaner. Marlaner. I'm Marlaner now. Spookylaner.

So spooky. Alright, so would you like to tell them what it is we're drinking on this very special Halloween episode? We are drinking the, I won't say awesome, but it's... Oh, it's awesome. We are drinking Goulaid.

Not just Kool-Aid. It's very specific. Kool-Aid. Apparently they brought this flavor out in the late 90s. I'm going to assume it probably didn't do that well.

Because people were stupid way back. In the 90s. I think it's just blue and green and purple mixed together. But yet when it's in powder form, it's orange. Crazy.

I know. I took pictures. Like a pumpkin. Because the first time it was made, somebody made it without me. And I didn't get to see.

Well, you know, I didn't know you wanted to see the damn shit before I fucking put water on it. Come on. It's a process. I know. She's like, you put water on it.

You know, she's like. That's what I'm supposed to do. It fucking changes color. She's like six years old. You know she's gonna be.

I know, but I forgot. She was disappointed, too. You said, but when you made it, it wasn't there. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. And she and Winchester went and pouted in the other room.

We did, we did. Would you like to talk about Winchester? Winchester's my new best friend. We hang out because boyfriend's too obsessed with his computer to watch TV with me. I'm not obsessed.

Is it porn? No. It's worse than porn. It's motorcycle forms. It's some motorcycle porn.

Yeah. It's my porn. So I lived there for days at a time. So me and Winchester, we bonded. So we'll get into that during my geek week, I guess.

But Winchester is the most awesomest of awesome. He is a werewolf. And a. He's a stuffed werewolf. Well, if you want to get technical, yes, he's a stuffed werewolf.

Well, you didn't, like, shoot him and have him stuffed. I mean. He came that way. It's okay. Yeah, he looks pissed.

Yeah, he's got a very specific mouth. Scowl. It's awesome. Which is funny because I got him at Walmart, which probably explains his dour disposition. Yeah, I'd be pissed off if I was there all day.

They had a mummy, and the mummy was lame and happy, and a very happy witch, and a very happy Frankenstein. Then you get Winchester, and he is one gruff bastard. He is. He didn't look very happy at all. Out of all the other ones, he didn't look happy.

Which makes him awesome. Which is why I'm like, I have to have this. I think it was fluffy. He has the softest hair. Yeah.

Yeah. So, Winchester. Which today, my niece told everybody that that's what she wants more than anything, is a pet werewolf. Because when asked what her favorite things are, because she has the audacity to ask my mom why she likes cats. Oh, God.

Because she's a crazy cat lady? Which was my mom's reply. Yeah. So I was like, well, what's your favorite thing? And she wouldn't tell anybody because she was embarrassed.

And she goes over and tells my sister. Apparently she likes dangerous things. Uh-oh. Is she going to start the dangerous animals club? She likes dangerous things, and she wants a pet werewolf, and that's her favorite.

And then she got embarrassed again and left the room. Your niece is going to be an extreme goth. She is, dude. She's going to be dating guys on motorcycles. Hell yeah.

Werewolves on motorcycles. Yeah, werewolves on motorcycles. I've got a movie for her. I hear it's terrible, but yeah. Werewolves on motorcycles.

So, yeah. My sister just kind of shook her head and looked down and had that look of, oh my god, I'm in trouble. Yeah, she's in big trouble. More than she knows. But anyways, yes, me and Winchester.

Alright, so it being a Where's the candy, bitches? Holiday episode in general, but specifically Halloween. Where's the ghost? We have to have the ghost bowl. Okay.

And then we have to load it up. Now, I'll let you know this, and being the geeks that we are, specifically, you get all excited for limited edition stuff. Each of these candies is limited edition Halloween exclusives. You can't get these the rest of the year. How about your Kit Kat?

Oh, hell. Special colorized versions of them. Are they black and orange? Yay! Yay!

I think they're just orange. Dude, I'm going to be so sick. I'm going to have to vomit after this, right? Like two pieces of pizza and two pieces of cream. And you have Kool-Aid.

We have pumpkin-shaped Reese's. Yay. We haven't gotten to the flavor of Kool-Aid yet either. No, we'll get to that. And here's your multicolored black and orange Hershey Kisses.

You didn't get the pumpkin spice ones? Hey, you got ghosty marshmallows. I do have ghosty marshmallows. I've got ghost marshmallows, too. I'm stealing this Kit-Kat, and then I'm throwing the ghost bowl over to you.

I want a Kit-Kat, too. And a Reese's pumpkin. And a Kit-Kat. I want a blackie. The bowl's going to be empty before we even start.

Oh, there's more to reload. Don't worry. Yeah, I'm not as thrilled with the chocolate flavor, but the fact that it's orange is fucking awesome. So you want to know what I'll have eaten today? She's like a regular Kit Kat.

I had two bowls of Frankenberry for breakfast. Spooky breakfast. I had some birthday cake for lunch. Healthy lunch. And I had a bag of potatoes for lunch.

And then I had cake. And now I'm having candy. This one's got shit on it. It came like that. From the outside.

You don't have to claim that one if you don't want it, but it came like that. I just saw it when I dumped. It out of there. It was already like that. Yeah, I'm supposed to be going to be sick.

You got some in the freezer. Quit playing footsie with me. What do you want me to do? He thought it was me. Calm down.

I'm not playing footsie with Marlena. Well, just keep your feet underneath you. Wow. My feet are under the chair. Mine are too.

Mine are too. They're under my chair. Jerk. So while we're enjoying our holiday snacks, do you want to discuss the flavor of Kool-Aid? What's it taste like?

Flavored with angst and despair. No, you didn't say it right. Come on, you've been doing it all damn week. You better fucking break it out now. Flavored with angst and despair.

It's about damn time. I did it. No, seriously, the other day during dinner, he broke that out like three or four times. And laughed like a tard every time. Well, because it's.

Funnier every time. Well, me and the kid just looked at him. Even your kid. Yeah, I know. Even my kid looked at me like I was a retard.

What's wrong with you? Why are you my dad again? That was bound to happen. It just takes a certain number of years and they come to that realization. Yeah.

They're embarrassed for the rest of their life. It's okay. Every time I say it, though, the reason I chuckle about it is not because I think it's funny. It's because I think of Chris Kattan. He's never funny.

Who was here last week, by the way. Oh, really? The fact that we didn't hang out with him, I don't know. I was working on Horatio Sands. I always think of the...

A little skit with him and Sarah Michelle Gellar where they were doing the goth channel. That's actually one of the only ones he was ever in that he was really pretty good in. Well, that one always cracks me up because he always, please, Azrael. I'm Azrael. I don't care what you say.

I love mango. See, I was so tired of that bullshit. I mean, not every episode of the Mango thing, but like a couple of times. They were all the same. That's like all of skit comedy.

It becomes too repetitive. You just need to get rid of those damn characters. Yeah, well, totally. What was the other? The fucking monkey boy, whatever the hell that one was.

I don't know. I'll block that shit out. I hated that thing. I don't know. He was just very limited.

But yeah, the guy. kids were actually really funny and his like dick brother that came downstairs and would pick on him because it was real because it was all frighteningly close to the real thing that was me dickhead brother you were Ash. Greener you were Chris Kattan oh my god I was I hate Chris Kattan he's in my top five list of people I want to punch in the face. You had your chance last week. Who was he? Why was he here?

He was here for the film festival. Let's try to hang out with Horatio Sanz. He's not funny anymore. And tell him why. He lost too much weight.

Yeah, have you seen, if you're not, haven't seen him in a while, go find a picture of him because you wouldn't recognize him. He dropped like over 100 pounds. Yeah, good for him, man. It looks good. It's awesome.

I remember that for Will Sasso on... Mad TV. He lost a bunch of weight and they're like, you're not funny anymore. That was like a skit. Yeah.

It's usually true. Poor bastards. Kind of like Josh from Drake and Josh. Yeah, he just got weird looking. They do taste funny.

I like them. It's like a white chocolate. Which I'm usually not as thrilled with. I think it's because I like white chocolate. Oh, you didn't describe the actual flavor of the Kool-Aid.

The description you read online as to what the best flavor is compared to. Oh, yeah. Somebody posted on their blog the flavor of the Kool-Aid was... You can imagine snow cones when you were a kid, and you used to get all the flavors of the snow cone. And, of course, the flavor always dripped down to the very bottom of the cone.

So by the time you got finished with the snow cone, you turned up the cone, and you got this just thick, syrupy, black mess of snow cone juice. And that's kind of what this tastes like. It's just really sweet and syrupy until you eat it. two or three Kit Kats and a Reese's thing, and then it just doesn't have any flavor at all. It is pretty awesome, I have to say. As much as, you know, Kool-Aid's hit and miss, this one's actually pretty good for me.

But it is very snow cone flavor. And the packaging's pretty awesome, too. I was disappointed they didn't give the Kool-Aid Dracula fangs. He has a cape and a bow tie, but he has no fangs. Well, what's he going to drink?

Then he's going to drink your blood, and then it's going to go on the Kool-Aid. Mm-hmm. Then he has to get the Kool-Aid juice boxes and bite into them and suck the juice out. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.

Oh, no, Kool-Aid. So, do we need to get into some sort of crazy, creepy geek activity? Sure. Well, mine, I've, um, this is sort of, I mean, there are horror movies, in a sense, I guess. I mean, they are, but it gets weirder the deeper you go into this series.

I watched, not one, but the trilogy of Mimic movies. Wow. Yeah. And for a. Specific reason, I wanted to, ever since we talked to him, we talked to the director, J.T.

Petty, who directed the third one, and I asked him, and even then, I mean, he had a very... specific way that he described taking that job which was kind of fun so I was but the way he's described it I was like it sounds interesting what he was trying to do with it it's like I kind of want to see that one and I've just not gotten around to it for years and I finally found a copy of it and actually now they've started putting them on Netflix surprisingly they I didn't even think they would turn up on there but yeah so I was like okay I want to watch that one I was like well it's been a long time since I've watched the first one like I barely remember what was going on the first one and And then I'm like, well, shit, then I guess if I'm going to watch it, I might as well watch the second one because I don't think I ever watched the second one.

So, yeah, rewatched the first one. Again, this was the original version. This was not. They've just done a director's cut, which I've heard is a little more tolerable because the end does get quite ridiculous. And from what I hear, the studio involvement totally messed up the del Toro version. idea of what he originally wanted to do with that, you can definitely tell it's him.

Like, that visual style, I mean, granted, he'd already been directing in, you know, his country before he came here, but it's funny, it's so... He's already got that signature look to his stuff, even that, you know, pretty early on in the career. It was overwhelmingly, you know, visually del Toro. So that part's awesome. Even the acting's pretty good.

I mean, it actually made me pose the question... the hell happened to Mira Sorvino? Nobody knows. Remember when she was like an actress and she was in a lot of movies? She was. Like A-list high caliber movies?

Like she was a big deal for a while. I mean she got an Oscar nomination. Yeah it's like. She's in your favorite movie. She is?

Never mind. Which one's that? Which one is it? Never mind. Come on tell me now because it's going to bug me.

I want to know. And she had one of my post-its. Hey She did not make Post-Its. We had that in business school. I love that movie.

I like that movie. It's like my chick movie. It's one of those I put off forever and didn't watch because I expected it to be really stupid and then finally it was on cable and I was like, alright, fine. Dude, I love that movie. Yeah, I was surprised.

I love that movie. It's fucking funny as shit. It is. It's more than I expected. Romeo and Michelle is actually a pretty damn well put together movie.

It's a good movie. have you seen it yes I've seen it it's legitimately funny and both of their performances are pretty damn good I expected so much less yeah I was pretty good in that movie you wish you had that retirement Lisa Kudrow money dude I'm so glad I don't. Go to bars anymore I got so tired of drunk people telling me hey you know you look just like Lisa. Kudrow I'm like no I don't drunk people are dumb Yes, they are. You have her face shape, but that's probably where the similarity is. I used to be blonde, so that probably.

Yeah, the blonde hair probably made it a little closer. Yeah. She has a master's degree in, like, something important in science. Lisa Kudrow's pretty awesome. Mm-hmm.

Yeah, she's starting to turn up in other stuff now, but. I don't know. So, yeah, no Lisa Kudrow in Mimic. But the first one's okay. I mean, it's as best as you could have been, I guess, with the studio screwing things up.

The second one... What the hell was going on? Was there anybody in that one? No, that's the thing. I'm trying to think.

I don't think there was anybody I'd really seen before in that second one. It was a bunch of nobodies. The lead chick was not really all that interesting. The guy who plays the standard cop who's investigating it is kind of annoying, too. It's like, yeah, there was just nothing selling it.

The story was like they're locked in a building through most of the middle part of the movie. And then like, I don't know, it's just like it was badly written. Like just the plot itself and dialogue, just like everything about it was just like kind of half. And you can definitely tell like the budget drops off significantly. Like the first one was, you know, real.

I mean, you had like several really high caliber actors in that first one. And then you get to the second one with nobody in it. It went straight to video maybe at that point, I guess. And, yeah, no stars, no budget for the effects. But, you know, still, they were trying to do as many effects as they could, I guess.

So, yeah, the second one's just a mess. And, yeah, I watched it because I was trying to get three. Not that they have that much carryover on any of these, by the way. Would you have been totally lost? No, not really.

I could have just started with three. But for some reason, being the geek I am, I wanted to run the whole series. So, yeah, I get to the third one. Right off the bat, and this is the thing, right off the bat, just the title sequence is, like, this cool... Like, it almost has, like, this indie film vibe to it, and it's really, like, creatively put together.

You can see where J.T. Petty steps in, and it's like, is a really talented director. It's a shame what didn't happen. And even he kind of made his comments that he probably wasn't thrilled with what ended up happening with it. But you can tell...

Where he is really talented and where he was trying to do something with it. He was working to do the best that he could with what they gave him, which was not a lot, by the way. But it's funny, even this one. The third one has Lance Hendrickson in it. The third one has Amanda Plummer in it.

How did the third one end up with actual names in it? And two, they just skipped it. Big budget. No, that's the thing. There was no effect budget at all.

Was it Norman Reedus in one of them? He's in the. No, he's in the first one. Norman Reedus has a very small part in the first one. Did he say fuck a lot?

That's how I usually know it's him. He's always like some slimy... He was just some guy that worked at the sanitation department, I think, and they dug something out of the sewer. I like him more and more as time goes on. Before he was just like the weird-looking brother.

From Boondock Saints. Now I'm kind of having a more appreciation for him, it seems. Well, his face moves more than Sean Patrick Flannery. I've got to give him credit for that. That's true of everybody.

He actually got up out of his seat to take a picture with me, which I've got to give him credit for that, because Sean Patrick Flannery's ass. Just sat there. He can't move that either. Dude, seriously. Hey, he took a picture with me, too.

He's awesome. He looks pissed, but he was so nice. Sean Patrick Flannery wasn't like, hey, you want to take a picture, too? He was just like, okay, next. Done.

Move along. I remember we were just like, you want your picture too? And I was like, yeah, sure, why not? He was so sweet. Then he tried to cool me down.

And then he swelled up. He did. He puffed up like a damn puffer fish. Me and him are the same size, and he like, he swirled up to about twice the size I'm bigger than this guy. And he stepped forward a little bit I was like what?

I think Henry Rollins dragged you down to his. Level I'm struggling This is strategy You gotta have photo strategy. Yeah Trejo did the same thing to me too He tried to pull me down But I'm taller than he is He's. Got a reputation to uphold He does It's. Me and him.

He's happy. He's trying to pull me down, and I'm happy because I'm going, oh, no. You're not. Good time, too. Oh, Lord.

So, yeah, the third mimic, like, you can tell there is no budget at all. Like, there's hardly any effect shots with the creatures, which, I mean, that's what the plot kind of is supposed to revolve around. And it's such a weird, I mean, basically, and even he called himself out. He just does a version of Rear Window. With giant bugs living across the street.

It's just strange. And that's what I was like, well, that, I mean, at least it's, you're, again, stealing from somebody with really, you know, impressive work. And I wanted to see what. You're going to steal, steal from the bugs. Yeah.

And I wanted to see what he did with that, like how you would, and he does, he does find this really cool way that there's. This, this. You know, young guy and he's got this, like, immunity of deficiency or... He's one of the kids from the first movie that grew up and has now got a messed up system and he can't go outside because he'll catch crazy diseases or whatever, so he's kind of plastic bubbled almost into this room. He walks outside sometimes.

Again, they're not real specific with half of this, but he stays in there and then his hobby is just taking pictures out the window, so he's got, like, on the wall. What kind of loser would do that? Take pictures out the window... Fake film and picture. You're going to have to explain that for people that aren't following you and seeing your stalker picture.

I have to do it now? I guess. Do you want to get to it later? That's part of the geek. Yeah, we can jump forward then.

But yeah, just know Misty's that loser. Anyway, so. But, yeah, he's built this whole, like, recreation of the building on his wall in there, and he's got photos of everybody. So, I mean, that part's kind of cool. There's definitely a lot of really interesting visual stuff.

I mean, you can tell. It's funny what a difference it is between the third one and the second one, because the second one's just boring, cut and dry, straight-to-video crap. And, like, the third one, again, the plot is kind of, like, minimal and sort of ends up being kind of a mess because you don't, They don't have any budget to work in the monsters, so there's just, like, cutaways and, like, weird little shadow shots of stuff going on, but it's very little monster in there to deal with. So, I mean, the movie kind of suffers because of that. But visually, I mean, you can tell what a good director he was.

I'm glad I watched that one for that reason. I don't know if it was worth watching, too, but the third one, at least, for the visuals and just kind of seeing how he made that plot work is kind of cool, so... Yeah, the Horrors of the Mimic trilogy. That was my geek week, so. I hope you haven't taken my stories too seriously.

All right, Misty, you want to tell your stalkery photos? I only took one stalker photo, actually. Yeah, I've only taken one, I think, that turned out good. You took one, too, before, and it didn't turn out great. Yeah, it was on my cell phone, though.

Yeah, anyway, so I was sitting in the computer room when my boyfriend was outside, and he comes in the house yelling at me, Misty, fake filming down the street! So, of course, I grab my camera, and I take a picture of him, and he's got the hat on, and he's got, like, He's wearing a Michael Jackson shirt, and he's just coming up. From the grocery, so. He's got his sunglasses on. Yeah, he had the sunglasses on, so, yeah.

Ow! Dude, seriously. If you're my friend on Facebook, you can probably be privy to this photo, because I did post it. And that's a couple days after that, when boyfriend went to go stalking himself. Yeah.

Which is. Which is, I think that's beautiful. Is that more loserish that I jumped on the bike and took off after him? Yeah. I thought you would take the car because you were out of gas.

Well, I took the car to go get gas for the motorcycle so that I could get back on the motorcycle and take off after him. This is complicated. It's a complicated process. I was out of gas. He saw him outside and apparently he was in like a fancy outfit.

Well, I saw him earlier that day. He was coming back and I think I know where he lives now. Okay, this is getting creepy now. And then we saw him later on that day, and he was with this girl. He was walking up the street, and he was dressed in what looked like the Michael Jackson military coat.

The coat that he had. You're hardcore Jackson if you've got the military one. Well, see, that's what I was trying to figure out. Either this guy's really a hardcore Jackson fan, or he's really a hardcore Corey Feldman during his Jackson years fan. Which, really, if you're a white guy with black curly hair, you.

End up looking like Feldman. You might as well just be a Feldman fan. He really resembles him, though. Did you see the picture? Yeah, he really resembles the guy.

And Jay's actually seen him dance before, too. Yeah, he's danced, like, coming around the street. I'd forgotten about that. But anyways, he was all dressed up in his fancy outfit, and boyfriend comes in here fucking... buttloads of nuts like running through the house oh my god i have to go get gas i have to follow him he's on our step i have to know where he's going if he's going to richard's we have to go get pizza so he flies out of the house and he comes back. He went to Subway.

Motherfucker got dressed up to go to Subway. What the hell is up with that shit? And then he lost you. And then he lost me. No motherfucker can walk fast.

He does. Sneaky ass fake Phil. He moonwalked. Yes, he did. He moonwalked right out of the damn neighborhood.

Do you remember the lady that used to always walk around the mall dressed like Madonna singing Madonna really loudly to herself? I must have missed that one. No. I wonder if that's his girlfriend. That'd be really funny.

No, this girl didn't look like Madonna. Well, she was like a huge girl, but she would always like. Oh, well, I don't know. This girl was a little. She was meaty.

She was meaty. She was blonde. Yeah. I don't know. She wasn't dressed up like Madonna.

No. But see, this is the thing. This is the weird area that we live in. There's actually two Feldman lookalikes. There's the.

The New Albany one and there's the Clarksville one. The Clarksville one. And the guy in Clarksville. God, he was awesome. So it's not the same guy?

No. Whoa. The one in partial is, like, young, and, like, he puts way much effort into it. Yeah, he was wearing the blazer with the sleeves pushed up, the jelly bracelets, the fingerless gloves, the bolo tie, the headband. So he really is legitimately into Feldman?

He looked like Feldman, because we walked by, and I was like, oh, my God. girlfriend there's a guy over there that looks like Corey Feldman. He had like the one tendril of hair yeah she was like what and we walked over there we followed him to. The toy section yeah I was like you gotta look at this and make sure that I'm not fucking crazy because I know I'm crazy but good. Times yeah. Nobody else will believe me unless you see it.

You know I'm not a anymore if I see someone who's really interesting looking I'm just gonna ask to take their picture All they can do is say no, you know? Why don't you take stalker pictures? I would just be like, I love your hat. I've been looking for a hat like that for a long time. No, you tell them you run a style blog.

I run a style blog, and I like your style. That's a good idea. Everybody has a blog. You can pull that off any day. Do you want to share your stalker pictures?

I don't care. I was going to say, I've been trying to think. We shared on air. I ended up doing this with the one from a couple weeks ago. And it failed.

Well, that was my point. I said if anybody cared online. The only people that. Would care about it are already my friends on Facebook, and they would have already seen it. Randy's seen it, probably.

Yeah. Either way, I was going to say, with some of our ridiculous stuff that we mention on here, I've been thinking maybe we should do for the hardcore, the secret circle, if you will, that actually bothers to help us out and passes the lengths along. You mean our three fans? Our three fans that really go the extra distance. Is somebody other than Randy?

I'm thinking, yeah, I might go ahead and share the photo with them. So if you yourself would like to be one of the hardcore secret circle members... then, yeah, email me and let me know because it doesn't even take much. All you got to do is, like, forward a link or if I ever get to make one of those promos I'm working on, just pass it along to some random friend. It doesn't even take much, but I don't know. I think those people should get a little something extra, so I think we'll pass along.

Fake Feldman is a reward. If you've been listening to this show this long, you should know about fake Feldman. You should want to see a stalker photo, so. boyfriend knows where he lives now we can get some special shots if you'd like. Yeah I'm still trying to work an angle to talk to him there's a couple there's a couple people in the neighborhood that I'm like I'm gonna be friends with one of them's fake Feldman. You were like way excited the other one's this the bicycle guy.

You wanna be friends with the black midget too oh yeah yeah there's a midget guy that's running around our neighborhood I wanna be friends with. Him too your neighborhood rules it does I don't have anybody cool in my neighborhood. If only we could get a black Feldman midget. Maybe if he starts hanging out with fake Feldman. Would they breed?

He'll be influenced. Marty's friends with Clyde. Clyde's awesome. Our neighbor in the street. He has fuck off tattooed on one hand and eat shit and die.

Wow. He sounds awesome. That's awesome. He's awesome. He was in the Vietnam War.

He's probably about my dad's age and he lives with his mom. Hardcore ex-heroin addict, ex-alcohol, car theft. Theft. Theft. Lots of trouble.

Stuff like that. He's a cool guy, though. I like him. He mows our yard every once in a while. Despite being a hardened criminal, he's pretty cool.

We have the one weird girl down the street who sits in our driveway in a desk chair and spins. In circles i forgot about that girl so it's like there's somebody competing with you for your favorite activity i don't. Know we got a whole neighborhood. Of just isn't it aren't you happy to know that you're not the weirdest people on this. That's saying something too yeah.

It's a girl she just i forgot about that she just sits in the office chair out in the front of the driveway and spins around in circles and she's like and he's like that damn girl's out in the front with her office chair and I was like oh my god not again that's awesome seriously nothing that interesting happens in my life. That one guy who rode by our house on a motorcycle sitting and. Putting on the ritz yeah I know I was. Riding a bicycle putting her on and just sitting and putting on the ritz high volume should we get to should we talk about something we actually watched. Real quick yeah you watched a shit ton of Supernatural.

I watched the first two seasons of Supernatural. And who did you watch it with? I watched it with Winchester. I watched some of them. You watched like three or four episodes.

No, I watched more than that. I love that show. It's still... Whenever I try to give a breakdown of the Jakes, he comes in after not watching a couple of them. I'm like, all right, I'll give you a rundown.

And it's so hard for me because I keep wanting to call. Sam Dean. Sam Dean. Because he's Dean, goddammit. He's from Gilmore Girls.

He'll always be Dean to me. I don't know why. Yeah, it throws me off every time. I'm like, you're calling him by the wrong name. Don't throw me off.

I didn't watch Gilmore Girls. And it throws me off too because the girl who plays Joe was on Veronica Marsh playing a girl named Meg who they have a different girl named Meg on Supernatural. They're just fucking with you now. They are. Which I looked it up online and apparently that chick's badass.

She is. Who are we talking about? Alana Tall. She was Meg on Veronica Mars. Meg Manning, the one who got pregnant.

Apparently she was in the, what was it? IDF, Israeli Defense Force. Yeah, she's Israeli, and Hebrew is her natural language, and she was born in Israel. Yeah. And she was actually in the IDF.

So she kicks major ass. That's not normally what you get out of sitcoms. I have much respect for her. Because she had originally tried out for the part of Veronica Mars, and she was the second pick. She is no fun.

She is not, but she's still badass in her own way now that I know that she was actually, you know. That is cool. She killed people. Yeah, dude. That is cool.

But she's awesome on Supernatural. And so I got through the first two seasons, and I'm pretty excited. That's been my, I guess, Halloween-related thing. I've been watching Supernatural at least one episode a day. Sometimes I go on mini-marathons, and I'll watch like five or six episodes.

But that's my thing. And in the month of October, I'm determined to get through Supernatural. So, yeah. Other than that, I watched the third season of Veronica Mars, because I'd previously watched the other two, and I talked about that last time. And I forgot just how fucking frustrating the series finale, and how much I wanted to punch everybody after watching that, because it was so goddamn annoying.

Because I loved that fucking show, it was one of my favorite shows of all time, and they just fucking loved it. What happened? Well, when they pulled the show out from under you, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. There was so much, there were so many, there was still stuff that wasn't tied up, and they just fucking ended it, and it was just done, and I was just like, but who's gonna be the sheriff, and what about Logan? It wasn't aliens, was it?

No, it wasn't aliens. It was all a dream. It was all a dream. Veronica was having a dream. Dude.

God, I loved that show, and I was so mad. Then I watched the, uh, Found online, apparently they started to make a season four, maybe? They had, like, a pilot or a trailer for season four, so it's, like, 18 minutes of season four of her and, like, the FBI or something? It's really weird. They just need to go the Buffy route and do, like, a comic book series and finish out the next couple of seasons.

Just make a movie. Pull a fucking Firefly and make a movie and wrap that shit all up and hand it to me. That'd be cool. I know. Same with Carnival.

I know. They need to wrap that shit up. I still haven't watched season two yet. I bought them. I have them.

And I'm sitting there and I'm like, God, I love that show. I love season one. But then if I watch season two, there's no season three. I'm not going to have any closure. You know?

That's what they do. I mean, they keep, that's why I think they need to change the way that they do seasons and TV in general because it's like it doesn't, operate the way it used to it's not like you get picked up for a seven-year run and you know you know you're gonna keep going forever like especially everybody watches stuff on dvd now half the time nobody even watches it when it's on tv they wait till it's done. I don't have yeah i don't have i'm so add when it comes to i want to watch it now. But you want all of it too so it's like they ought to just know that and like sign somebody to do like a three-season arc you know or just go ahead and give them a set amount of time to wrap everything up no going in i mean I guess it's hard to do with ratings because then you get a Playboy club and they cancel it after three episodes.

Poor Amber. Poor Amber. She's so damn cute. But she's going to be in movies with Brad Pitt now. Yeah.

She's going to be in movies. She's Amber Heard, for God's sake. So she didn't really have to worry about it. But, I mean, you get stuff. She was just the one with Johnny Depp.

You get stuff like that. Yeah, yeah. I think it is Johnny Depp. She was in the Rum Diaries movie. Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

It's not Brad Pitt. I don't know. I just think because people consume TV differently than they did, they're still going by the way that they set up TV in the 50s. It doesn't operate like that. People watch it online half the time.

They watch it on DVD and whole season. Nobody waits until next week. Next week on, and you're. Like, oh my god, I can't wait! It's a different landscape than it was when they came up with these ideas.

I think they need to just totally tweak the system and just readjust the way that they do TV series and give them a set amount of time to just go ahead and tell their story. Make it just like a huge movie, basically. I know. I wanted to at least finish up my goddamn Veronica Mars because I want her and Logan to be together, goddammit. Even if he was a jackass at the beginning.

He was awesome. He is a jackass. He was, and he drove that yellow car. Now whenever I see anybody driving a yellow car, I think, God, that person's probably an asshole. But you're probably going to think that anyway, so that's okay.

Yeah, probably. So is that it? Do you have other... We watched a movie, but we don't have to talk about it. What movie did we watch?

We watched Topper Returns. Oh, yeah, I like that movie. That's a good movie. It's a Halloween movie. It's not really a Halloween movie.

It's a horror movie. It's got ghosts in it. It's got a ghost. It's got a ghost. Okay, it's the third in a trilogy, and no, we haven't seen the first two, so we're not really sure if they tie together.

You're pulling a Mimic 3. Hopefully not. I don't think they're really tied together. Apparently there's a guy named Topper, and apparently he sees ghosts in the first two, but we didn't see that, so we didn't know what was going on. Is this like the old Topper series?

Yes. Okay, because I didn't think they made anything else, but. Well there's Topper and then there's Topper goes on vacation or something and then there's Topper returns and it's It's kind. Of like Weekend at Bernie's. Only back in the 40s.

It's like Topper scared stupid and Topper goes to jail. That's right. I don't know why Topper goes to Africa. Topper goes to space. That's the fourth one.

They always go to space in the fourth. Anyways it's these two girls one of them is supposed to be an heiress so she has to go to this fancy house where her fridge dad that she doesn't know lives and then she goes there and Her and her friends switch rooms so that girl gets killed. Creepy. I know, right? So it's the ghost of this girl goes and haunts Topper to get him to come back to that house and solve the whole mystery.

And I was pretty proud of myself for knowing who the girl was. You were like, is that Betty White? I'm like, no, it's not Betty White. She sounds like Glinda. I'll be damned it was Billy Clark oh I.

Saw that it was on TV yeah she's been in all three of them I think yeah that was on TV a couple weeks ago and we couldn't figure out what the fuck it was and I was. Like it's a good movie though we were like is that. Glinda the good witch and yeah it was it wasn't bad I was pretty excited no it was really fun. I was really sad afterwards the main girl I guess the daughter the one who was supposed to be the main character but she didn't really end up being the main character she ended up killing herself several years later and that was so sad because she was so pretty I don't remember her name But she was really pretty. So, sorry, dead lady.

Now she's a ghost. That's funny. Yeah, it was on TV, and, like, we just saw the part where he got into bed, and then there was, like, a person beside him, and he was like. Whoa, what's going on? I know, and then Glenda got all maggie.

I don't know. I think I want to watch this now. Sounds kind of fun. Her being all pouty was super cute. The ghost chick was pretty sassy.

Yeah, she was. Sassy ghost. She was. She was a sassy ghost and she was fun. But yeah, it was actually really fun.

It was a good movie, you know. Cool. So yeah, I'll have to watch Topper and Topper goes on vacation or whatever. Did you guys watch it on TV? Yes, we did.

It's like KET or something like that. Yeah, I don't know. I was flipping through channels and it was black and white and I stopped and I was like, I don't want to watch this. One other thing, we've done some video games. We've got Dead Island.

That was pretty exciting. Yeah. I beat the fuck out of a shit ton of zombies, let me tell you that right now. Even the boyfriend is a pain in the ass. Oh my god, I was so goddamned.

He started the game, got through all the easy intro section where they teach you how to do stuff. Then he fucking hands me their amount of tear and leaves me in a fucking shit ton of zombies by myself. I was yelling. There was profanities. There was a shit ton of profanities.

I was so mad. I can't imagine. He let me surround him. You're the one who. Walked in the gate.

That's where I was supposed to go. That's where my mission was. You abandoned the mission. You could have went and found some more weapons. Yeah, he left me with two fucking broke-ass oars and a rusty-ass half-broke pipe.

Good weapons. I can only play those games for so long. They hurt my head. Yeah, it's convenient that they hurt your head right when there's a shit ton of zombies coming. No, I didn't know that.

I didn't know I was supposed to go in there. I was wandering around. And then later he got bit, but he pretended like he wasn't. Don't you hate when that happens? Yeah, I don't get bit.

I don't need it. Okay. Yeah, you were immune, weren't you? Yeah. How were you immune?

Yeah. I don't remember. In the video game, you're immune. I don't know. You just are.

That's all. Yeah. Oh, I got Fist of the North Star. That's cool. He was so excited, dude.

I don't think I've ever seen him more excited about anything. I didn't know they came out with a Fist of the North Star game for Xbox 360. Other than fake Feldman, I have not seen you this excited. It's Kenshiro. Oh.

A lot of head exploding fun. You know, actually, the gameplay will probably bore a majority of most people because, like, it's the same beating up people over and over and over and over again. How is that boring? Well, I mean, some people are like, well, you know, it gets kind of boring. It does get repetitive.

And there are. Annoying times where you have to save stupid villagers that run. You know what? Fuck a bunch of villagers. If you're trying to get saved, then why are you running out in front of these people that are going to kill you?

You know? And then go, Save me! You think they'd run away from the danger? No, they run right towards the danger. And so now I've got to save their stupid asses.

You know? So... But other than that, it was a good game. I like it. But the only reason I like it is for Fist of the North Star.

So. You know? Had it on NES. I had it for... Um.

Sega when they brought it out. It was Last Battle. And I just like the anime. I just like it in general. It's been around a long time.

Yeah. Even the bad movie with Gary Daniels. I'm sorry, Gary Daniels. I still like you. You're a good actor.

I just wish they'd put you in some better movies. But other than that, that's it. Are we done? No. Ours is done.

Yeah, ours is done. More later. Well, Okay, this week I watched, um, Behind the Mask, the story of Leslie Vernon. Um, I watched it yesterday, and, I mean, it wasn't scary, even though it was, like, in the horror genre. It's got Jim Carrey in it.

Huh? I like it. Yes, yes, it does. Behind the Mask. That's the sequel.

Oh, no, wait, that's Son of Man. Yeah. Son of Man. I wish I was making that part up, but no, they made it. Um, it was good.

I liked it. Uh, I have bought it. I said I'm not around to watch it yet. I've heard good things about it. Yeah, it's pretty good.

Um, I've been playing a lot of Mario Kart. Awesome. Which version? We. Get a little steering wheel?

Yeah, but that sucks to use. You just use the joystick. Oh, I watched the movie Secretary. Which is awesome. The one with Maggie Gyllenhaal?

I have a weird attachment to that movie. No surprise. I don't know if you should admit that. No, I'm fine with it. I think it's the reason I'm still hanging in there with Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Everybody else is always like, ugh. But I'm just like, no, there's something about her. I lovingly refer to her as saggy mistletoe. Wow. I mean, she never wears a bra, ever.

She doesn't need one. She's Maggie Gyllenhaal. She's saggy mistletoe. I'll pass that along if I. Never mind.

I don't get it. Yeah, that's pretty much it, I think. I got Reefer Madness, the musical, in the mail, which I've already watched, but I need to watch it again. It's been a while. I need to watch it again.

The remake or the originals? What did you say? I think there's only been one musical version. Oh, okay. I haven't seen the original.

It's got Kristen Bell in it. I know. Kristen Bell is so damn ridiculous. Kristen Bell is goddamn ridiculously cute. I know.

Oh, my God. Yeah. Even though you do have to put up with Nev Camel. I think my week's been kind of boring and dull. There's no fabulous Marlene.

Are you going to tell them about the haunted house? Oh, yeah. I'm going to do this really creepy. The molest maze? Yeah, the rape maze.

Is this like your spooky edition of Marlena moment? I guess so. Alright, do you need the whole intro? I mean, I guess if you want it. Now it's time for a spooky Marlena moment.

Well, anyway, my friends... I had to be my friend Jeremy's wingman. Because I'd never been a. Like. Wingman for a guy who wasn't straight before, so it was kind of different.

I didn't know what to do with it, you know? Changes the rules. I know how girls think. I don't really know how, like, gay men think, so I don't know. Kind of the same, I think.

Kind of like straight guys. Yeah. Only with men. I mean, I'm not, you know. But it's really easy, you know?

Yeah. Guys just want to hook up, so being a gay guy seems like it would make it really simple. Well, this was, like. It's a whole lot of guys that want to hook up. I mean, it takes the work out of it.

In theory, I don't know. I can be a really good wingman, but I think the guy that he was trying to get just. Kind of sucked. So we're just like, you can do better, Jeremy. Come on.

But anyway, so we went to Dixie Highway, which if you're not from Louisville, it's this awesome land of adult bookstores and bingo halls. And flea markets? But not awesome flea markets. She's throwing the word awesome around in jest. You're using that word, and I'm not sure you know what it means.

It's the land of dead flea markets. And dead hookers and dead strippers. Yeah, probably. Well, we kind of knew the maze was going to be weird, or one of us was going to get raped. We're standing in line, and one of the actors comes up to us, and he's like, yo, guys, it's about to get sexual.

And we're like, wait, what? Because that's what you wanted a lot of times. And then he came up to me and he looked at me and he goes, do you like chocolate? And I'm just like, uh, I don't know. And, uh, yeah, there were just, like, every actor made innuendos about, um.

I can't help. It. I know, it's a knee-jerk reaction now. Innuendo. And urine.

Thank you. Go ahead. Yeah. One of the actors even said, like, you wish it was my penis that just touched you. Yeah.

What was the other one that you said about the party? Oh, yeah. We walked into this ice cream truck, and the guy was like, come on in to Uncle Chester's ice cream truck. There's a party in your mouth, and I'm coming. And it was just really like, ew, what if there are children around?

Yeah. I mean, it's not extremely original or funny anyway. No, it's not good, but at the same time, I would be thinking, did I just pay to hear that? Yeah, really. Did I just pay to come into.

This horrible place? Yeah, the maze of molestation. Really? Yeah. And you know, my mom told me today that my cousin works there.

I'm just like, ew, what if he was one of those guys? Probably was. He was the one that was like, yeah, you wish that was my penis if it touched you. I don't actually. Hey, why the hell is it going?

Hey, cuz. What's up? What's up? Sorry about that. Besides you.

Yeah. Ew. You had to go there. And you walked into it. Later, I'll leave.

I get home in about two seconds. Nice. I don't want to talk about it anymore. You started this gross Marlena moment. Now round it out.

And then after. I mean, then after that we went to a gay bar, which was like way easier to deal with. Yeah it's fabulous nobody makes those kind of horrible comments there they're better well there are. People making all kinds of horrible comments because it was like 3 in the morning. That's any drunk bar my old friend loves him some gay bars I love gay bars they're.

Awesome they are I love gay bars too I've never. Been to a gay bar I just don't like bars me neither regardless of. The people there they're great they're fun everybody's cool you know you don't have anybody trying to beat the shit out of you or. Anything like that yeah the bathroom. Is really weird not that I'm gay but I mean I've had lots of friends that are gay and we've always gone to gay bars and stuff drag shows are fun as hell the drag show I've seen yeah it was pretty impressive.

This bar has square dancing every Tuesday holy shit and karaoke every Wednesday. Karaoke's cool yeah I guess I won't get up and sing. It depends on how many beers I have. Yeah, that's pretty much it. Nearly being raped in a corn maze.

Well, corn hole maze. See, now you walked right into that one. That's okay. Alright, so does that round out the geek activities for this Halloween festival? I think so.

It's been pretty long, so you'd say so. Yeah. I talked a long time. I'm a talker. All right, well, we will take a break, and I'm going to go reload on Ghoul Aid.

Hell yeah. When we come back, we will discuss this week's movie. He's a vampire He's a vampire He's a vampire He's a vampire He's a vampire. He's a vampire. Well, I was walking.

Down the street. I met a guy, his name was Pete. He told me that he was a nice guy. Until I looked up into his butchered eyes. All I could do.

Was break out and cry. Boy, that guy sure would eat you alive. Ha ha ha! Do not pull down on. The safety bar, please.

I will lower it for you. Popcorn freshly popped and buttered. Look good? Sure, it looks good and it tastes even better. Get some now.

Rock and roll will never die. At least not this Halloween. You wrote of. Raising spirits from the dead by incantations, right? Yes.

I did that by playing the record backwards. You're kidding. Sammy Kerr. He's a rock and roll nightmare. I am a big fan of yours.

I've got all your records. Shut up! What have you done to your stereo? I wanted a new one. Sammy Kerr.

His fans won't let him die. He won't let them live. You should be. Loyal to your hero. Make it turn on you.

Trick or treat. Looks like we better check out the party party. You better run. It's a regular. Fire Nowhere to hide Gonna hunt you for the night, yeah You got it, I want it Pretty soon it's gonna change, it's too now So keep knockin', keep.

Rockin' All right, we are back, and I'm reloaded on Ghoul Aid. I think everybody's all loaded up now, so we're ready to roll. Into this week's Sofa Theater. This week's Sofa Theater feature is Trick or Treat. As we've said, very different than Ur-Treat.

Trick or Treat. The year is 1986. Director, Charles Martin Smith. The plot, and I'll go ahead. It sounds like a fake name, by the way.

It sounds like a. He's a real dude. We'll know him in a minute, but... Yeah, the plot, I'll tell you now. As per usual with IMDb, this is terribly put together.

Sammy Kerr was a famous devil-worshipping rock star who died under mysterious circumstances. Now he wants to come back to life. Doing so requires possessing radio wave and automobiles and making a few human sacrifices. That seems inaccurate. Are you seven?

Who wrote that? Who wrote that? So, with that, spoiler alert, because, yeah, that's the least of what I'm sure we're going to ruin. So, go watch the movie. Before we get into ours, it is time for our one from the vaults moment with Mr.

Mark Price. Misty, you hung out with Mark for a minute. Mm-hmm. There were some interesting moments while we were sitting there. I'll say this.

He was very sweaty. He did change right before we got there, too. Right after we left. In his defense, you remember the room we were in? Yeah, it was insane.

That was the room that got no air conditioning, so it sucks to be sitting in that room. Which show was this at? Days of the Dead. Indianapolis. Remember the one that air-conditioned?

Oh, good God, it was fantastic. Fucking hot up there. But why was it just that one room? That one room was just... Yeah.

Yeah. That was bad. It was. He just seemed extra sweaty. Well, I'm sure he's thrilled by that.

So, yeah, we'll now go with Mark's memories of making Trick or Treat. Never let him see you sweat. Sweat from the fox. I guess getting into Trick or Treat, was that a specific move on your part to do something kind of very different from Irwin? Honestly, it just got...

And it wasn't that different. I just got the audition and I wanted. To make a movie really bad. I worked hard at it. TV or.

No, for the movie audition, you know, and I worked at it really hard. I actually. put a monologue from the movie on cassette tape and dropped it off to the director, which is a ballsy move. You never know how that's going to work. It could work against you. You could be like, what is this fucking idiot?

But in this case, he was impressed. He liked it. He was like, all right, let's do this. I think I took the role away from Keanu Reeves. I don't think the producers are very happy about that now, but these things happen.

Yeah, what are you going to do? Oops. Face screwed up. Were there any stories from the set, or what was the shoot itself like? Well, I was 17.

I was starring in a movie. I was skinny. I was at a beach town with my own house. It was great. I was loving life.

Well, I swam in the Cape Fear River, which I recently found is a very dangerous thing to do. Nobody told me that at the time. There's alligators and scum and stuff, and you can die from bacteria and everything. They're like, you went in there? Really?

I really did get in the car hanging out over the drawbridge over the Cape Fear River. So that was like a stunt. I remember that pretty well. I remember they were making a King Kong movie, not a. Good one, but one of the lame King Kong movies that came out in the 80s.

They were making that next door to us at the studio, and so I would go hang out in the palm of Kong. They had it all set up and everything, and I would go talk to them and take a nap. I remember one day they were looking for me, and they found me sleeping in the palm of Kong. It should be King Kong Lives, yeah. Well, I was wondering.

How you took the marketing over the years. They always focus so heavily on the other two much lesser stars. Yes, and even the original poster, I'm not on it. I've grown to cope. It's like other things.

But the latest one with Ozzy and Gene Simmons on the cover bag, and I'm not even there. I don't think that's legal. My contract or something states I have to be my name first. I would hope so. But am I really going to sue?

And who would I sue? And maybe I will. No, I don't think. Maybe I'll consult with a lawyer. Just find out if there's any potential money in there.

Probably not. But I used to go make my own posters and answer their question, and then put them on the video boxes in the stores. And slowly... didn't make it that much. Exactly what I was thinking when we saw the film I was thinking about that to myself like oh yeah yeah you drown the guy but then you're swimming in the river man. Thank you once again to Mark for telling us his memories of making Trick or Treat and now on to ours actually before we even get into the movie would you it's funny that both Misty and Marlena had the same response when the credits came up would you like to tell them why you were so excited.

Do you want to go Dinosaur. De Laurentiis yeah it was his production studio which I just saw it and went oh it's another one of his I mean dude made a ton of really cheesy sometimes unsuccessful movies in the late 70s up through at least. The 90s or so but I forget that he has another relevance now go ahead shout. Out De Laurentiis You know, everyone hates her except for me. I love her giant lollipop head and her giant boobies and her giant teeth.

See, I noticed every girl that I mention her to gets upset. Again, I'm usually talking about the quality of the show that she's on because it's ridiculous how much. Again, you can tell she's related to movie people because the. They talk all their stuff at Target. You know who she is.

Everyday Italian. Who? What? Huh? Who is it?

I saw it just by one of our ladies. Say it. I can't say her name right. Giada De Laurentiis. Okay.

She does a cooking show now. I have her pants. I love her pants. It's funny that, yeah, every. She's the cooking with Italian chick?

Everyday Italian, yeah. Oh, yeah, she's cool. Yeah, see? Again, I don't hate her. She just seems like a normal, dorky person that runs a... cooking show, but she's a little more tolerable than.

Most of them. She is. She's kind of cute. Yeah, it's funny how much it pisses off every woman aside from the two of you sitting here that I've ever said, oh, God, that show. Everybody just likes her boobs.

They just, like, get mad. I'm telling you, it's all you need. Yeah, I was like, well, duh, they're selling this program. What do you think they're going to highlight? Food?

Come on. Wasting their time. I would hang out with her. I'd eat her food. Maybe.

I'm very picky. I'd definitely eat her food. I didn't know everybody was looking at her boobs yeah see that was the thing I'm never making that comment I'm sure plenty of people are but to me it's always like it's funny you watch that show and it looks like they spent a movie budget on it like every shot is so like perfectly lit and everything is set up and it's it's like it's got cutaways and it does you know a shot from over here across the room and it's like it's set up like it's a freaking movie shoot I think So did Misty, probably. I love how they made sandwiches. Cool.

Unless they really don't need to. Eat another sandwich. But it's funny to look at, yeah, most of the other, even really successful shows, like the Emerald guy or whatever, that looks like a freaking infomercial. Yeah, it does. Like, that is shot with a $ 14 budget, and it's funny just how much money they throw towards hers just on the technical stuff.

Mm-hmm. All right, we've gotten sidetracked. But anyway, I just thought it was funny that on separate viewings, you both brought that up as one of the first things. You're like, hey, I know that family. Yay.

I didn't know it was a family deal. That was funny. Did you say something yesterday about it when we watched the movie? Mm-hmm. Oh.

I was just like, ooh, yeah, I read this. Oh, I was. Probably stuck in ghost and ghouls land. Dude, seriously. I just knew it from the other direction, so I was just like, Yeah, that's what he does.

He makes cheesy movies. So with that, I guess we can get into the actual movie. So where would you like to begin now? I'd like to begin with how the hell is he the only fucking metalhead in all of New Jersey? Yeah, this is.

In 1986. In 1986. Okay, when I was in high school, close to around this time, there was a shit ton of kids that weren't in metal, and this was in the middle of fucking nowhere, like bumfuck Kentucky. You know, are you going to tell. Me that only one kid in New Jersey listens to metal?

Especially then. If it would have been a little earlier and he was, like, on the forefront of it. But, I mean, this was pretty far into the 80s when there was a lot of hair bands. And it was during the whole height of the whole, you know, PMRC, you know, devil worshippers, backmasking. God.

Backmasking bullshit. What I think is interesting that they do sort of touch on is the fact that in the beginning, like, they were still treated like dorks and made fun of. Like, if you fast forward a few years, then they were the kids you didn't fuck with. You know, it's like, oh, those metal kids. Not in my school they weren't.

See, it's fun to come back around, though. They're the ones that fuck you pick on and then they come back and kill you. I know. Exactly. It's funny.

It's like, to me, it was that very beginning when they were sort of like, oh, you guys are the weirdos. And they did still get made fun of like they were dorks. And it's like, it was years later. They were like, oh, they're into Satan. They're metal kids.

Don't mess with them. So. This was in that early stage when you still kind of probably were made fun of by the fucking Socs. In your school. Yeah, they were.

Like, they weren't made... I guess they were kind of made fun of, but... Most of the kids I hung around with, the jocks didn't really pick on him. That much, you know? See, that's the thing.

I think it got to that. It was the jocks were too scared of him. And it was probably, yeah, I think it was probably by that time. So, I mean, if this would have been set a little earlier, it would have made more sense that he would have been. Because that's, I mean, it was one of those, and that's what I was going to say getting into, like, seeing him at the show.

You were there. Were you there when that guy started, like, came up while we were talking and, like, told him how much? The one that gave a free autograph to right in front of the guy who had just paid? No, this was like his friend that he knew, more or less. But, I mean, he kind of went.

Oh, that guy, yeah. I'll have to see if I can find the clip, because he started telling the story of how this was pretty much his life. Like, he was that kid in high school, and he was there, and everybody made fun of him, and he was a dork. He summoned up a vengeful rock star who started killing people? Hell yeah!

Maybe they based it on him, I don't know. You may want to interview me after you're done with him, because this is a hero. Because he was 17, I was 17... This guy inspired me that it's okay to be different because I went to a high school with all jocks. In the movie, he was me.

I got picked on and bullied around. But, yeah, he was kind of telling that story. And his was probably a little earlier, too, because he looked like about that age that he probably started a few years before this. I think it does touch on that, where you do have those kids, and yeah, like you were saying, later, they're the scary kids, and nobody fucks with them. Everybody, like, really is kind of afraid of them.

I think it's after this movie. It is. I think it's right about this time, I guess, when it crossed over, and everybody was scared of them because they were devil worshippers, and because, again, the numbers grew, and then you didn't fuck with them because they were all, like, wearing studded leather gloves, and they'll punch you. In the face, so. we'll stab you I stab you after a while yeah I think it leveled out and those kids didn't get made fun of and I think after a while that's also what kind of took some kids towards that like if you're sort of on the fence nerdy if you go towards that maybe you've got some other scary people that have your back exactly you're not as made fun of anymore that's what I did yeah I think that's sort of what leads kids into that.

And it's I don't know you've got the nerds and you're kind of nerdy and you're into D & D you know And then the metalhead guys are kind of into D & D, because that kind of brings out the whole fucking dragons and wizards and fucking crazy-ass shit like that. An excuse to have a sword in your room. Yeah, you know, and most of those kids got along, you know? As far as I remember, the metalheads and the dorks and kind of the nerdy kids, they all played. D & D, they all got along.

Like, most of the nerdy kids were really good artists, so they would draw stuff for them, or. you know draw my character yeah draw my character or draw hey man can you draw this album cover for me or some shit like that yeah and and then it seemed like the jocks and the preps just kind of hung to themselves. You know they were busy listening to i don't know what did. You see that picture online the things that rick astley would never do yeah that was. Awesome that voice should not come out. Of that man no so that's yeah i thought that was kind of interesting because they do sort of get that kind of right it's just a little they should have done a few years earlier i.

Guess and i had to sit through that whole thing like at the time my parents they went to a baptist church and it was one of those i mean it was during the time of of backmasking and devil worshipping and your kids are listening to this satanic music that's going to send them to hell and I had to sneak around and buy tapes and shit like that and make tapes that, you know, didn't look like evil rock tapes. It said Rick Astley on it, but it was really Megadeth. Yeah, you know, stuff like that. Pictures of bunnies on it. Oh, I don't know.

My mom getting upset I'm going to tell your dad you're listening to that rock music You know It's funny my parents didn't care I listened to all that shit My parents They were really You're going down the wrong path You know kind of thing I used to stay up late night and tape metal shop And stuff like that Because I mean we lived out in the middle of nowhere I didn't have any money I couldn't go buy music You know, so most of the music that I had, I had to tape it off the radio, you know, and listen to it. I remember playing that game. Yeah. It's funny. No kid now would even, like, it wouldn't even occur to them.

Yeah. They wouldn't even understand that. You're waiting for the commercial to come off. You're waiting because next they're going to play the new cut from Metallica, and you're sitting there, and you've got the pause button on, and then the DJ finally stops talking, you know, and then you hit the button real quick, and then you've got to cut it off before the DJ starts again. Or sometimes you get an annoying DJ that talks through most of the beginning of the song.

Yeah. And you're like, son of a bitch, now I've got to wait until he plays it again. Yep. Sounds like I remember playing this game. I kind of do a little bit.

I used to steal tapes out of my dad's office because my dad kept a lot of audio tapes. He used to do. A lot of inspirational Inspirational talking to himself, I guess. I don't know. Or he would tape certain things....

That's only cool if you're Agent Dale Cooper. Other than that, you're not cool. Yeah, well, you know, I don't know what all he had on him because most of the time I just didn't pay attention. If the tape looked kind of cool, you know, if it was a cool shiny tape. Like mine.

Yeah. Then I would take it and, you know, you put the masking tape over the holes because they were already poked out, you know. Can't tape over this one. It's got the holes punched out of it. I'll show you.

I got some masking tape. That's foolproof. Yeah. Have you been taping over my tapes? No.

Holes punched out. Hockana. Yeah. You sound just like that. Shut up.

Come on. Jeez. That's the other thing I think of the silliness of the other things that come into play in this movie. The thing that I think they got right is he's a convincing dork. And not that we didn't know that from Skippy. because even he said it's like I was like thinking oh you're going to a very specific different way trying to get away from the Skippy image but even he said he's not that different and it's like he's not he's still that same dork that everybody makes fun of he's still like the guy who wants the girl it's not Mallory this time but he still wants the girl and isn't going to get.

Her what show was that on I can't even remember. Family Time Family Time yeah so I mean blasphemy Michael J. Fox is awesome you know the only thing that I can think of from from uh family ties that sticks with me to this day is the skit where they were doing the Mr. Sandman song and Skippy pops. Up and goes, yes.

Bring me a drink. That fucking sticks in my head forever. Dude, you'll never get out of my head with that because that came on the radio the other day when we were at Kroger. And you did the skippy part? And I did the skippy part and I turned to my kid and I go, yes.

And she was like, what is wrong with you guys? Exactly. She's like, what? She's like, that's not my dad. I don't know this guy.

Help me. But yeah, I think they do a good job of sort of capturing that. I mean, especially that first like 10, 15 minute little intro they do. It's like, You get where this kid is coming from. Like, he really is this sad, depressed teenage high school kid, you know?

It's like, I don't know. I think that, more than I expected out of this type of cheesy wannabe horror kind of thing is, I don't know. I think they did that relatively well, actually. I got really, I'm sorry, who are you? You're the only one that understands me.

Okay, that was kind of weird, his whole little... Obsession. No, but that's total fucking teenage shit, though. It's true, because I was doing the same thing. It just wasn't to Sammy Kerr.

It was me obsessing about some sort of actress that I won't name names. Anyway, I was equally as like. No, I never did that. Pining away for someone that I thought, oh, sure, we're going to hang out together. I'm a delusional teenager.

What do I know, though? I was never like that. I never did the whole, he knows what I'm saying. I had a friend that was like that with Fugazi. He knows what I'm going through.

No, he doesn't know what you're going through because you're not going through anything. You're just being a dork. Again, convincing dorks. Yeah. What were you going to say, Misty?

The part that really pissed... Well, one of the many parts that really pissed me off was him going to the pool. I mean, seriously, you think this is going to end well? You think this is going to have a happy ending? Yeah, I know.

That's what we were thinking. Yeah, the girl invites him to the pool. You know who's going to be there. I've had that happen before. I didn't go because I know who's going to be there.

Even if you didn't think it was a setup, which really, I mean, your radar should have gone off. Would you go alone? This is a cool kid setup. I'm going to get my ass beat. And then even if she wasn't, which she wasn't, it's like, still, jackasses are going to be there.

Why walk into a situation where you know it's going to end badly? At least be one of the creepy outsider kids that you are and just loiter around in the parking lot and see if you can find the girl. Or, do like me, you carry a big fucking knife. There you go. So that when they come up to you and start running their mouth, you pull out the knife and say, you take a step next to me, I'll fucking gut you.

And then they back off from you. This all seems fine to me, but. Yeah. That's why I love him. I understand.

Okay, so that brings me to my question, because I sat there and went, okay, even if you were going to go, even if you're going to be stupid, why are you going in with a backpack on? For the general. Again. I guess. Come on, man.

You didn't pay attention to the film? No. He's supposed to just go in already in his dorky swimming gear, I suppose. That would have been really awesome if he just showed up in a swimming trunk. I don't want to see him shirtless.

It was just doughy. Marlena, do you want to go to your favorite part? I don't know what my favorite part was. His nipples. They were tiny.

Exactly. His nipples were tiny. He had freakishly tiny nipples. Where was the nipple action? In the locker room.

Oh, yeah. Gosh, that kind of sucks, man, because I know there were some kids in my school that they did that, too. Did the whole naked push him out of the shower. Or they did this one kid. They grabbed him out of the shower and The girls' locker room was on the other side, and they grabbed him and threw him in the girls.

Locker room naked, and the kid got suspended for that. The kid got suspended, not the jocks, because the jocks were on the football team. You can't suspend them. See, that's how it works. Again, I mean, that part of it, again, that first little intro of how terrible his fucking life is, I'm like, yeah, that's a lot of kids in high school.

It's like, you get the other happy, you know, 90210 bullshit that goes on, but it's like, there are a lot of kids on the other end of that spectrum that aren't the freaking, we can go into the bully guy, what is it, Doug Savant or however. Yeah. Yeah. Well, and it's funny, he's really the only other recognizable person, and immediately watching this now, like re-watching it, I was just like, oh my god, how can I buy him as the bully? Like, the only other thing I specifically referenced with him, like immediately go to with him, he's on Melrose Place.

And not only was he on Melrose Place, but he was very... effeminate on Laura's play. I never saw that. The fact that he, not. Overtly, but I mean, that was. No, I mean, I never saw it.

No, I'm just saying in general, he wasn't, he didn't overplay it, really, but he was their token gay character. So it's like, all of a sudden, you're going to make him this, like, completely douchey, like, jock guy. I don't know, it seems like such a weird... I thought he was a douchey jock guy. I don't even think he played it bad.

It's just so hard for me now going backward. Because, again, I saw this years and years ago and didn't know who he was. So I guess he played it fine then, but now all I can see is the dork from Melrose plays. To me, he played it fine. He seemed like a jackass that I would have went to high school with.

And Misty brought up something. She goes, are all the guys 35? But you gotta understand it's high school for some reason in high school I don't know what it was but it seemed like in the 80s in high school all the fucking guys looked. Like they were fucking old as shit yeah I mean especially you dorks on the football team I'm like yeah they were huge and like were way older than everybody else in their 30s yeah you know and they all I don't know you know steroids will do that to you I guess when we were still all wimpy kids it looked like we were still 6th. Graders you know But yeah, he was so weird.

Especially him and his weird locker room scenes. It was like, I think he really just likes skipping. This is his way of dealing with it. That could be one of those, because a lot of those guys, you know what I'm talking about. Deep-seated anger, because he's still coming to terms with the fact that he's going to be on Melrose Place and gay.

I don't know. But that was a weird dynamic. But he does play quite the jackass in this movie. He does. More power to him, I guess, if you want to play a jackass.

He did a good job. If I'm being bullied in school, and all of a sudden out of nowhere, I get this dead rock star who wants to help, kills everybody that's causing me problems, I'd be like, you know what? Okay. Let's do this. I have a list.

Yeah. I already had a list going. Is that not cool? I had a list in school. Yeah, we all did.

I did. I just didn't act upon it, you know. But I had a list. Now you would have gotten kicked out of school. Oh, yeah.

But back then, I had a book with everything that I wanted to happen to all these people. And that's as far as it went, though. I mean, it was just a book. I was never bullied. I wasn't either.

But if I was, I could probably make a list. Just for fun. There are people I didn't like just because I didn't like a lot of people. But, I mean, no one made fun of me or, like. Because you were the cool kid.

Not really, no. I just flew under the radar. We were definitely weird kids, but people were like, hey, you're the cool weird kids. See, when I went to school, there were no cool weird kids. You were just weird.

And it was bad enough that I was mixed, so then I was even doubly weird because there were no Asian. Kids at school. There were no Mexican kids at school. So I got lumped into the weird Asian Mexican kid at school. You know, so...

Yeah. But you're not Mexican. I'm not Mexican. Yeah, I know. Well, when you're in a town full of fucking idiotic rednecks, you're, hey, Mexico, or hey, Chinchong Wing Wong, you know, shit like that.

That's all you hear. They're so cool. Yeah. You look more. Mexican than you do Asian.

I know. I mean, if we were to just, like, try to define your nationality. Yeah. I've heard Italian. I've heard Indian.

Not Indian, like, Native American. Like Native American, yeah. I have a Native American name. From what I hear. So does Lisa Kudrow.

Yeah. But anyways, yes, I'm just saying. He lacked the follow through. Well, he freaked out. Yeah, he didn't realize the level that it was going to go to.

He just thought they were going to get hurt. He just wanted to get even. He just wanted to get them to quit fucking with him and kind of put the dorks in their place. I'll put them in their place. Well, that was the thing.

They kind of took it to that level because that's the thing. It's like when you shove someone in a pool and put a weight on their. Back, That's kind of murder. Yeah. I mean, there was a pretty good chance he wouldn't have gotten that off him.

Yeah, no. If that girl hadn't have saved him, he would have drowned. Bullying just becomes murdering at that point. And at that point, you know what? Which, again, is kind of how kids are.

The more I thought about it, I was like, no, they didn't really take that up a notch. Kids are fucking mean. They're mean? That's exactly how... A lot of times they don't think about.

It's just like those guys. They didn't think about him dying. There's no consequences. You're a fucking kid. They're just thinking about, ah, we'll put a weight in there and he won't be able to get back up.

Oh shit, he's dead. I was like, no, that's probably real. That's how kids would be. But yeah, I'm fine with most of those douchebags dying a horrible rock star death. I don't care.

Yeah, same thing here. Misty and I both agreed. We were like, hell yeah, we would have had them all killed. Who's next? I'm fucking real.

This is Ragman. I have a question. Was that message yesterday meant for me? Oh, part of the plan. All right.

Okay, now we're talking. Okay, there's a plan. What is the plan? I do think it is weird once you get to that point where it's already sort of delusional where it's messages on the record specifically for him. But when you get to the moment where he starts talking to the record, I'm like, this, at that point, I was like, you know, this could have just been, like, the flip side of this movie, and it's a kid that fucking loses it and goes crazy and thinks he hears voices and starts killing his.

That might have made it a little bit more interesting. It might have been kind of more interesting. It's not me! It's Sammy! It's Sammy!

He's killing me! It would have been, like, Son of Sam. Yeah, if he just, if he, yeah. Son of Sammy Kerr. That's kind of how that went.

They were talking to me. I swear I heard it. They told me to kill all those kids. It was that dog. That damn dog that did it.

Yeah, it could have been an interesting flip side to this movie as he's just randomly talking to himself in his room and people start almost dying. Really, they could have just killed him. I don't know why. They always backed it off. It's like they could have killed several of these kids.

By the end, they end up. Well, Sammy does. They just get molested by it. Yeah. Back during the 80s, getting molested by ghosts scenes.

There were a lot of them. It happens. What are you going to do? Yeah, that girl has an obnoxious hair, dude. That hair was rowdy.

That hair was rowdy. That was very mullet-y for a girl. That was mullet-y. That was pre. Was quite mullet-y.

Whatever that is. Foo-foo bang? Yeah, pre that. Yeah, the fact that she had that, but then it was still kind of long and straight in the back. I'm like, that's just mullet-y.

Yeah, it was very moldy. I'm not at all surprised. It was that kind of early 80s coming out of the 70s, still kind of long hair. I don't really know. Like you said, you know, it's before the foo-foo hair, before the big wave, before the tons of white rain used to hold up that big crunchy puff that used to be in the front of all girls' heads.

I prefer Aquanet, but that's just me. Aquanet, yeah. Luke. Hey, kid. I can't.

Believe it. Yeah. Well, live fast, die young, I guess. He did leave us some great songs, though, didn't he? He spoke to us.

He still does. Dead or alive. Doesn't matter. Eddie, hey, hey, hey. Eddie.

Eddie, he wasn't a god. This rock warrior bullshit. Nobody understands him the way that I. Do. Eddie, you didn't know him.

He was angry. He was always angry, even in high school. We get to the first of our two money cameos. There's two that make this movie, basically. Obviously, since they built it around.

None of them was way more awesome. They built it around the marketing the entire time. But, well, actually, I was going to say, this is, and this is hard for me to say, this is probably the most likable Gene Simmons I've ever seen. Oh, I thought that was Gene Simmons. I was going to say something.

Who's the DJ? Yeah, I know. I didn't say anything. I didn't say anything. I was like, ah, that guy seems like Gene Simmons.

His name was in the title. I forgot by the. Time that happened that that was Gene Simmons. So yeah, it's one of those... He's so obnoxious, not just in other roles, because he's always the villain in most of his roles, but...

Even in the real world, he's just kind of obnoxious. So in this, for a minute, he's almost kind of a nice guy. He's still an obnoxious DJ, but, you know, most DJs, especially like corporate-run radio stations, you kind of have to be obnoxious. So, yeah, that part didn't surprise me. But when he was off mic, he was kind of a nice guy.

I was like, wow, I didn't even think I could see what Jim Simmons was playing. I don't know, it seems like he's kind of setting him up to me. It seems like he was like, hey. That's the other thing. I was wondering.

Nothing bad's going to happen if you listen to it. People aren't going to die. When we were watching it earlier, I was kind of like, I noticed when he handed it to him, he said, he's in here. Mm-hmm. Do they make it like he actually knew that something.

Was going on? Why would you give some dumb kid a priceless record otherwise? That's what I was thinking. I was like, dude, this was obviously before eBay. Yeah.

Think with the money. Or really, you would just make an exclusive deal with some sort of company and market out your own run of that record. That would be way before all that shit. Yeah. Yeah.

I like the. Other cameo way better. Well, because the other cameo is fucking awesome. So do you want to jump forward and just get to that one now since we're doing the cameo? I don't know.

Should we, are we, are we done with the, uh, Gene Simmons? Well, that's all I was going to say is I, I so just no offense to him. I know there's a ton of kiss people out there. I've, I'm not one of them. Yeah, I never got into the music.

That was the thing. As a kid, I liked the theatrics of it. I liked the makeup. I liked the blood. I liked the firebombs.

I liked all that. I just didn't care about the music, so I didn't really get that into them. But, of course, Gene is the cool one. You know, Gene is the demon. Gene has got the awesome fucking snake boots.

What, you mean Paul Stanley's not awesome? Nobody wants to be Paul Stanley. Nobody wants to be Paul. Well, the only thing worse than that is being Peter Criss. He's a cat man.

At least Ace was kind of cool. There was always some Dorky kid in my neighborhood that had the Peter Criss makeup on. What a dork. He's the cat boy. At least Paul was scoring.

Nobody wanted to hook up with the cat guy. So, but yeah, it's like even then, it's like, I. Don't know. Gene was the cool one. You know, Gene, those fucking snake boots are awesome.

I would still wear those right now. But, I mean, everything about him then was cool. It was years later when, you know, they lost the makeup and I started seeing him on TV and I was like, this guy seems like such a douchebag. Like, I just genuinely don't like him in the real world. He just is so full of himself and so obnoxious and.

Ugh, him finally realizing he's getting to be 100 and getting married lately is really creepy. I thought they were. Never going to get married. Did they actually get married? I think so.

They're going to or did. I don't remember. I think they did already. I mean, they've, like, been together for, like, three years. They've been together forever.

But even now, he's kind of, like, saying he's still not going to. It's still going to be open, I think, is something they hinted towards on his end. I'm sure she didn't get to do it anyway. How do you, like, still bang other dudes and then decide that you want to have babies with Winston? specific guy how do you know like how do you know i mean his kids look. Like i think he's more worried about banging tons of chicks and.

No she definitely bangs other dudes though i know she used to i don't know now they're just acting like it's all about him and who's he married to again shannon tween oh yeah queen of late night soft core skin of max skin of max. So, yeah. I mean, to this day, he kind of creeps me out. So, no offense to him. He's even had some decent performances in movies, but just as a person.

God, wouldn't it suck to be their kids and just think, like, my mom and my dad are gross. Like, they would. More so than most kids, yeah. You would really have to say that. They probably had sex with every other person in the neighborhood.

Like, that's gross. More than likely, yeah. Although, if you're brought up like that, it may not seem gross to you. You may be like, well, I'm going to score with that one. It's all relative.

I guess. When you've got a dad that's like, all right, son, how many girls are you going to screw this year? Here's a list. Yeah. I've gone through your yearbook.

Yeah. I've already tested out a couple of them. This one and this one, go ahead and skip them. All right, so skip ahead to your other cameo, Misty. See, usually I'm not a super big fan of Ozzy because he is an absolute retard.

Half the time I can't understand a goddamn thing that's coming out of his mouth. But this was just entertaining. Yes, it was. He was so, it was more like unrecognizable because his hair was all back and he was all. And he had a shirt on to cover up all the tattoos.

I know. And it was just, it was funny. It was entertaining to me. And he was just like, aw, Ozzy cleaned up. I think my favorite part is the fact that he, even then, I mean, this is pre-totally messed up.

He's always been messed up since he's been doing drugs, I'm sure. But it was funny that even then you can see he's kind of like, struggling for the lines yeah and half of them he's reading off a piece of paper but the ones before that he's like and they he's just sort of like you can see him sort of thinking what am i supposed to say now what the hell was i talking about sharon save me my. Line but i was entertained i can't help it i don't know. That one is really funny i have to say but as i brought up with mark it's it's kind of that same thing of They have marketed on those, too. I mean, you've seen the cover for this, right?

That's all that's on the cover, isn't it, then? Well, even then, that's what he said. Even the original run has a big shot of Sammy, you know, the rock star guy from the movie, is the main poster shot. I was like, you are the star of the movie. You got shafted since day one on the marketing.

It's like they never put him even on the package, usually. I would say why, but if he listens, he probably hurt his feelings. I mean, he's not, you know, cool rock star guy. I understand their marketing, but it's just funny that, I mean... Who's the Sammy guy?

Does he have an actual band? Was he an actual singer? He was a solid gold dancer. I don't know. He was very.

He was in the Thriller video. He was one of the zombies. Well, I put his dancing and stage theatrics right up there with the... The saxophone player from Boss Voice. Boss Voice, like with the hip and the pelvic gyrations.

Yeah, he was, to me, his, and we're jumping way up forward, but yeah, his performance was way more about the spinning and jumping and not so much about the lip sync. Yeah, that was so obvious. He was spinning, man. He didn't spin. He did not look like he was singing that song at all.

That one spin he did off the stage. Off the stage, yeah. He did a triple axel, stuck that shit. Crazy. Stuck it.

He is in a chorus line. Let's keep that in mind, I suppose. And dead now. He makes crazy face a lot, though. Like, impressive crazy face.

Well, that's what I mean. He pulls off the scary rock star-like guy beforehand. The only thing that doesn't hold up is his stage performance. Like, He doesn't seem like a metal guy. He seems like he's just busy spinning and dancing.

He seems more like a glam rock guy. Yeah, he's definitely more of a glam rock kind of thing. But up until then, he plays the scary, creepy, spooky, whatever the hell the spirit. He does this a lot. Are you ready?

He does do. That a lot. I don't know what to tell you guys listening. Misty's doing a face. It's pretty accurate, I'll give her that.

It's kind of like the Benicio Del Toro poop face. But the wrong direction. Yeah, it's going up instead of down. So yeah, Tony Fields is his name. He does play the scary demon dead rock star guy.

He did die. How did he die? Too many spins? He spun himself off stage and died. He spun too fast.

He got impaled by the neck of a bass guitar or something. Okay, here we go. Tony Field, a dancer on Solid Gold from 79 to 84. Solid Gold dancer. Also danced in Lionel Richie's Running with the Night.

Michael Jackson's Beat It. Let's see. He was also in a chorus line, Captain EO, and of course, Trick or Treat. Sadly... What?

I thought it was a thriller video. I thought it was a zombie. No, you just beat it. Beat it on here. Again, this is on the internet.

They would never put anything wrong on the internet. Internet movie database. They told me it was a thriller. He was in a Michael Jackson video. Who cares?

One of them there, Michael Jackson. I bet Fake Feldman would know. Fake Feldman can tell you. He knows his entire history. Hey, can we get Fake Feldman on the show?

We probably could. You test him out and see if we want him on the show. We might be able to. Actually, from what I heard, he is an encyclopedia of music. Interesting.

Because I was at Kroger one time following him around. Not at least, not at all being stalkery. Creepy. And he was talking to this other guy about KISS. And he seemed to be fairly knowledgeable about KISS.

Okay, back to. Now, just to end it here, it says, Tony died from an AIDS-related cancer in 1995. He was only 36 years old. Aw, man. What's up with us?

AIDS-related cancer. Beans. Beans. Mixing together all kinds of shit. AIDS just breaks down your immunity system, and then you get cancer, so.

Yeah. I don't know that we have immunity to cancer, do we? I don't think so. No, we don't. But you usually die.

It's usually like pneumonia or something. It's usually something else that takes you out. AIDS just, like, sets you up. Yeah. Thanks, AIDS.

Sets you up for the fall. So, yeah. That sucks, though. 36. Yeah.

All right. So, while we're doing cameos, which we did earlier, but let's get to probably the most impressive one for me, because everybody knows about the other two. They're all over the packaging. But nobody told me Large Marge was in this. Who?

The old lady on the news at the beginning that's doing the whole, this is a sad day, when she's talking about the after Ozzy does. I didn't realize it was Large Marge. No, the old lady. The only old lady that was talking on the news. The one that he reaches in and kills.

That's pretty funny. I was thinking about the other news reporter. No, that's Large Marge. That was awesome. When she started talking, I was like, wow, that is her.

Who's Large Marge? From Pee-wee. You've never seen Pee-wee's Big Adventure? Yeah, but she's a truck driver. Large Marge, isn't she?

Large Marge. Why isn't that my nickname? Because your name's not Marge. You're not Marge? You're not Marge?

You're not driving a truck? Yeah. There's a lot of. Reasons, actually. I wanted to be my nickname anyway.

Could it be my nickname now? Do you want it? Yep. Okay, well. Yes, I do.

You heard it. Large. Marge. Marla. Margelena.

Marlainer. Largelena? Yeah, there you go. Largelena. Are you sure you want that nickname?

Oh, God. Skippy's character has quite a record collection. Yeah, quite a few. He had a pretty sweet stereo. Even his mom couldn't figure out how to fucking.

Turn it off. I was just thinking that. Press the off button! Slap it! Ha!

Ha! Ha! Press the fucking off button! It's a slap and it's supposed to turn it off? Well, it's one of those kinds of stereos, you know.

I'm pretty sure in the 70s they had stereos and you probably turned one on and off before. What the hell? Why now is your brain shut down? It's like there's clearly off buttons right there, and she's pressing everything but the off buttons. It's like taking the equalizer.

At least turning down the equalizers. At least the levels would make it lower. That made more sense. But the first time was. Just, slap, slap.

What is she doing? Being an idiot. Just flailing at it. Bitch fight with her record player. Take that, record player.

How dare you. Oh, but yeah, we can get the songs in the key of death. Is that not a great name for your album? Is that what it was called? That was the last and final Sammy Kerr album.

I love that. Can I steal that? I guess. Large Marge can record that. Maybe that can be the album for my Mack Lads cover band, The Slag Hags.

Or my friend's band at work, Cunt Fist. Oh, yeah. People are going to have problems putting those tour posters up. Nah. What was Thundercont?

Thundercont. Awesome. Why isn't that? Maybe it is. My DJ name is DJ Thundernuckle.

Awesome. I think I've mentioned that many times. Or I can't decide between DJ Thundernuckle or DJ Heavy Flow. I was DJ Heinous Bitch. No, MC Heinous Bitch.

Sorry. And Grandmaster B, what do you want? I don't remember. A hardcore rapper for the streets. I don't remember my name.

Most days. I don't remember my name most days. Well, I've got it written on the inside of my shirt. Most days. That could be your DJ name.

For lack of a better DJ name. DJ Alzheimer's. What? Say my name. Because I don't know what it is, guys.

Come on. Okay, do you want to go ahead and skip forward to the green mist make-out session? The green... Yeah. She got molested by a slimer.

I hate to tell you, that doesn't really work in audio form. I'm going to have to get visuals just for me and Marlena. Me doing that face and her doing whatever the fuck she's doing. If you want to buy the equipment... and be in charge of editing. Because it's a nightmare just doing audio.

Just do like clips on the cell phone and update it to YouTube. I'm trying to do YouTube videos. We don't have any visuals, so if somebody will shoot them, I will work them in there. It's not that funny. I have a shirt with a bow on the front of it, and I have my hands through the bow, and I'm.

Doing T-Rex arms. I'm doing T-Rex arms. That's totally normal, right? That totally ties into the movie. While we were bringing up the slime, the misty ghost.

Green thing, that was my impression. Of that thing that came out. Yeah, the monster that tried to rape her. The rape monster. Everybody keeps saying she got molested and whatnot.

She seemed pretty into it. But it melted her ears off afterwards. There's a price to pay for any good sex. I'm sorry. It was uncomfortable.

Maybe like a butt cramp or something. I guess. Depends on how you go about it. But alright, you never know. Yeah, I don't know.

To me, she seemed pretty damn into it from like the first second until a monster showed up. So that might be the silliest moment in this movie is the monster. Well, they had to show some titties somehow. I mean, they had the swim pool. That wasn't very impressive.

There are swim pool boobies? Yeah, just a very, very, very brief second. There are swim boobies. I just, I don't automatically focus to, like, boobies, so. Well, it's an 80s movie, so.

So, you're like, when you watch an 80s movie, and it's a teen movie, you wait for the boobies. Because that's all it was in the 80s. It was like, where are the boobies? Yeah, but then you got the mullet girl and was like, ugh, I don't want to see those. Can't we get somebody better?

There was nobody better in the movie. I don't know. The main girl was okay. Yeah, I think the main girl was pretty cute. But she wasn't going to show her boobies.

They had to find somebody that would. We got her in a bra. That was pretty close. Yeah, and that was the one that did it. Yeah, lots of people got raped in this movie.

She almost got raped. Yeah, that didn't surprise me, though, because that guy seemed like a douchebag. Yeah, he was a douchebag. That was right up his alley. A date rapist.

He's a date rapist, if ever I saw him. Who else almost got raped? The girl that got raped by Ghostmist. She didn't almost. She did.

Oh, yeah. I don't know what happened to her, but it wasn't good. It melted her ears, and. It shook the car around pretty good, whatever was going on in there. Probably put it in her butt without any lubrication or warning.

You're really obsessed with that today, aren't you? When I said butt cramp, I wasn't meaning, like, a butt cramp. I mean, like, you know, sometimes, like, The back of your leg will get a cramp. Like your sciatic. I got a cramp.

I got a cramp. Hold on. He's not talking. I don't mean like a butt. A sphincter cramp.

I don't mean a sphincter cramp. I mean like a butt muscle cramp. God, you people. Your minds in the gutters. I'm just trying to tell a butt cramp story.

I can't believe you went there. It's a regular butt cramp. Not that kind of butt cramp. And how do you get a cramp there anyway? I don't even think that's possible.

Maybe like a micro tear or something. And yet you keep digging your hole even farther with your. I'm just kind of leaving it alone now. It's going its own crazy place. I'm walking away.

I'm walking away. With your butt cramping. Walking away. Walking away kind of funny. You're going to live in a circle.

Maybe. Oh, Lord. Yeah, people in this movie just could not die fast enough. Yeah. I'm sad that Skippy saved that guy from the...

The drill machine? The lathe. Because I would have just been like, you know what, fucker? You're gonna die. Me too.

I'd be like, dude. There's no way they can prove this is related to me in any way. His friend was watching. I was thinking that, and then I was like, well, now he's got a witness saying he didn't turn it off. But to me, I'm like, fuck that guy.

You know what? I think after that guy died, then Sammy Ghost would have killed that guy, too. That's fine with me, too. So, yeah, I would have been like, well, fuck that guy. Especially when you save his life, he gets up and goes, this ain't over.

I'm like, dude, he just saved your life. You fucking kill a guy, and then you look at his friend, and you go, mind powers. That will melt your brain. Did you say anything. To anybody else?

We'll send a green ghost to rape your ass and melt your fucking ears. It probably would have worked because that guy was a friend of Sparks. That was the only thing keeping him from. His friend is gonna die taking that big piece of metal in the head. And he's just like, Sparks, oh god, I might mess up my sweater.

All that fucking hairspray is fucking flat. That's true, it just ignited it. I was just like, wow, really? I thought at least it was going to something fall down and block it. That's what preppy guy gets for wearing a skinny tie.

It gets sucked in the leg. The only person that I can tolerate wearing a skinny tie is Joel McHale. Anybody other than that can go fuck themselves. Well, that's the other thing I was thinking. I was like, okay, now.

This is the popular jock guy. He's the one that's wearing a tie to school at a public school. I was like, that's the kid that gets his ass kicked. He's a rich kid. Even then, the other preppy clothes he was wearing before made sense.

But I was like, did they have to wear ties on their trash cleanup or whatever detention they got? I don't know. They were both wearing ties. I was like, you guys need to get your ass kicked in this school. I'm sorry.

You do not have to wear ties. Somebody needs to beat you down. If I were a dude, I'd be the one to wear a bow tie every. Day just for fun. You would wear them now.

What are you talking about? I've seen you in a bow tie. Skinny ties? Skinny ties are cool. What are you talking about?

No, they're not. They were in 1986. Yeah. I know. I was wearing one.

In bolos. None of that shit's cool. Not a bolo. I was wearing a skinny tie, though. I had a skinny tie.

But because I had to, damn it. I was just black. You look like a mad leather. That makes it cool. You're one sexy beast.

You don't know. Like the one in the car? No. I'm just not as green. That thing was pretty sexy, though.

Come on now. Or slimy. You saw the way he put that moves on her. I mean, she was totally into it. Yeah.

That's just weird. I was saying, music make your clothes come off. Mm-hmm. What else was I saying? What the fuck about this?

Like. Oh. So the can of Pepsi spilled, and then the guy suddenly came back to life. So Pepsi brings dead rock stars back from the dead. So we can go to, like, Jimi Hendrix's grave and pour Pepsi on his grave, and he's going to rise from the dead.

Or, like, Kurt Cobain or something. That's the one thing they haven't been sitting on the Morrison grave. If they just would have sat a Pepsi there, he'd be back rocking out right now. See, that doesn't work now because they put high fructose corn. That's what it is.

This was old. This was 80s sugar. Throwback. That 80s sugar brought him back. So, yeah.

This demon. Brought to you by Pepsi. It's kind of like that dead milkman song about where he eats everything except he cares about nutrition. Yeah. I love that song.

I think of all the douchebags and horrible people, Roger's okay. Which is weird, because nobody named Roger ever does anything good. Well, on this show we can say that, but. What is the. Name of Roger?

That's what she wrote. I'm like, that's the most unbelievable part of the whole damn movie. Ain't no Roger ever done anything that damn good in life, or that damn useful. It's been a while since we've made Roger jokes on the show. I guess we had to get him in there.

I know, since I made him cry like a bitch before, and he complained that I was too damn mean. You made Roger cry? Not literally. Okay. Oh, Lord.

But within the context of the movie, his friend Jimmy, we'll call him, again, he was actually not a bad friend as movies. Well, yeah, he broke into a car for his brother to steal a tape. It wasn't even long. He didn't have to break in. He didn't have to reach in.

He wouldn't go into the. And I was like, dude, that's not how you break into one of those cars with a hanger. Yeah. It's like you're going through the window. This is an 80s car.

Look at the giant... A very obvious lock right there. Oh, and by the way, it's unlocked. That whole scene was weird. I'm like, what are you doing?

And it's unlocked. I think that guy did have some of the better lines in the movie, but right now I can't remember what. Any of them were. That guy's about a quart low. That was the thing.

I mean, he's still, like, that's why I was sort of, like, minorly realistic, because he did kind of make fun of him. He calls him a pinhead. He makes fun of the fact that he's playing records backwards. I mean, he still makes fun of him like a friend's going to, but at the same time, he's like, you know, hey, man, if you need, you know, I know you're going through a lot of shit. I'm here if you need to talk to me.

He goes and gets the tape for him. Like, at every turn, he's kind of there helping him out. But then he fucks it up. Well, I mean, if he kind of thinks his friend is crazy, I would have done the same thing. Yeah.

Because you'd be like, what the hell's on this tape? Well, he's just curious, too. Yeah. Because his friend, because he asked him, what's on the tape? And he's like, oh, man, you would.

He said, it's awesome. You know, I mean, yeah, he really, granted, he thought it was destroyed already, but he billed it as, like, the coolest thing ever. Like, who wouldn't have hit play at that point? Just completely unbelievable stuff. Yeah.

Yeah. Okay, well. I guess I'm just a better friend than that. I would not listen to it. You would destroy it without any questions.

What? What if we said it was loaded with cool sounds of kitties? And get that on the internet. Yeah, really. I don't need your.

Tapes, King. This was pre-internet damage. I can't see. Kitties on a fucking cassette. What if it was loaded with pictures of kitties and you didn't have an internet because it was 1986?

And you had to load it on your Tandy. What's a Tandy? It's a computer. Tandy. Computer.

Back when I used to put computer stuff on tapes. Ah, yep, cassette tapes. Cassette tapes. I had Star Wars on cassette tape. I had Snack Man, which was a good one. knock off of Pac-Man and it was awesome actually you could go inside their little house.

It was awesome actually the one that I had probably wasn't Star Wars it was probably something else something like that it was just an X and it was fighting H's that were turned sideways which were supposed to be time fighters ah the classics yeah Little lines shooting out. I had quite a few of those. Crazy. I do like when he kills Large Marge in Roger's living room and then they switch to him vacuuming up the dead body. That was awesome.

That was funny. I'm sorry. Like, there's times when this movie realizes how ridiculous it is and it goes with it. It's like, okay, this movie's funny. Dude, he's just grinding that old granny right into the carpet.

She ain't coming up. That was my favorite part of the entire fucking movie right there. That was awesome. I didn't realize that. From the time that he yanks her through the television and her burned up, falling apart.

Yeah, we laughed. And then the next scene, when he's fucking vacuuming her ass, I'm just like, oh my god, that's genius. That was funny, I'm sorry. We had just emptied out the vacuum cleaner earlier that day. We did.

Good times. Okay, when the douchebag jock guy was always yelling his name, was it just me or did it sound. Did you even know what he was saying? No, I didn't. The wine barns?

Yeah. Like, especially when he's outside his house. I swear, I was like, just say white power that's what he said you hear him out in the yard what was his name uh it's um yeah it's uh weinbauer weinbauer yeah it did say white power okay he seems like a hate monger but i mean i didn't really know it was. A nazi it's like what kind of movie is this he's calling upon his power the power of white douchebag jocks another kid's got metal power you gotta have white power. Oh i just thought that was funny i was like what did he just say i could never.

Understand what the record was saying i was it was always like. More more more yeah every once in a while you get Okay, 6'6, I heard that one. Kill him? Okay, yeah. 90% of it, I was like...

I heard him say Leslie. That was, like, the only thing I understood, I think. Every once in a while, you get, like, one word out of, like, ten. So, I do like that this movie finally addresses the question that we've all wondered. If you have a demon-encrusted record, and you transfer it onto tape, does it also transfer the demon?

And the answer is yes! Apparently it does. You can dub yourself a demon. Yeah. And toilets hurt him.

And, yeah, you can set a toilet trap. If you flush it, they can't escape for a minute or so. Just long enough to go outside and not get done what you were trying to do. How did he get his hand in the toilet in the first place? He slipped or something.

No, he threw the hamper at him. That's right, he did. Because I remember he picked it up and was like, what is, is that a hamper? I was like, you're not going to hurt him with an empty hamper. Probably not.

Why would your. Hand slip and go into the toilet, though? Because it was open. Who leaves? Yeah, put the lid down, damn it, Skippy.

Actually, in his defense, it did work out in his defense. This time it paid off, but normally. Don't be thinking you can leave the toilet seat up. There ain't going to be no demons up in here. Normally it gets you in trouble.

You know me, I put the seat down constantly. I'm a seat down Nazi. I may not put the lid down, I'm sorry. You did not put it down. Oh, son of a bitch.

I almost always... Well, actually, I don't put the lid down at home. I flush the toilet. That's good. Well, your other theory is why the ghost that's stuck in the toilet was because there was really rancid pee in there.

Yeah, that's why. He got stuck. He's like, ah! Because it was kind of yellowish water. It was kind of gross.

It was kind of gross. It's the nasty urine. Oh, God. Oh, Lord. So, yeah, we've gone into the stage performance by the end.

That's just, well, I like that it all of a sudden goes to music video rules. Like, the guitar flying in the stage is awesome, but I'm pretty sure if you catch it and strum the strings, it's not going to make that noise, because guess what? It's not plugged in. Yeah. In a music video, that works.

It's all magical. That's another thing, too, is like, you've got a whole school of kids that hate that style of music but yet when he gets up on stage everybody's like yeah and you're like wait a minute you all hate this shit it's the best Sammy Carey ever that we normally hate yeah but he's okay now. We died everybody's always better once they. Die that's true they wipe the slate clean and you're like a fucking hero yeah you're the god to be warned you're a saint at that point once you die it's all good I can't wait then you get shot with a guitar laser. But yeah, it does become like music video rules.

Like what music video you're not like, man, I wish this gun could fire bombs out of it and kill people in the audience. Didn't you say even Spongebob seemed to rip that off? Yeah, I think Spongebob ripped that off in the movie because remember he. That metal one is awesome when he does the whole performance. Oh my god, that is awesome.

Oh, it's great. It's great. It's worth it. Go find it. SpongeBob makes you stupid, so I can't watch it.

It very well might, but we're a country that loves SpongeBob, so what does that say? Was there, like, a study done on that at all? Yeah, actually, there was. The fact that kids that watch SpongeBob end up being dumber in general than kids that. Didn't watch SpongeBob.

I mean, SpongeBob has only been around for, like, ten years. How would they know? Kids have gotten dumber in. The past ten years. Something about the pace of it.

It's so fast-paced that, I don't know, it just messes with your head. Weird. And I'm pretty sure if you drove off that bridge, he'd probably die. Not to bring logic into a fictional movie, but. I questioned the logic of many things in this movie.

Earlier he put on the seatbelt. But yeah, I was like, yeah. He killed the guy in the river, but now he's in the river, and now he's probably going to get hepatitis. As he mentioned, yeah, that river was nasty, so it's a shame you had to go in the river, because. Yeah, that was just, they should have found a lower bridge, because a low bridge, you might survive, but that was a pretty good distance that car fell off of.

It's like, I'm pretty sure the impact just into the water probably just killed you. That's the thing you're going to question the logic of? Yeah, that one. Not the talking to a record or bringing rock stars back from the dead. That's all fine.

Or Skippy scoring a somewhat hot chick. That's questionable, too. But, yeah, that's where I had a problem. I was like, no, I'm not so sure about this bridge fall. I'm not so sure.

I'll also question the songs, because sometimes they're a little too. On the nose. When you're tearing down the walls and you're tearing posters off your walls. Or the song where he's fighting back with the bullies. The song was Get Tough.

I was like, all right. How did they spell tough? T-U-F-F? Because it would be awesome. Because you like the fabulous Thunderbirds?

Maybe. I don't know. I just thought some of those, I was like, there's going to be cheesy music in this kind of movie, but wow. I was like, those are just a little too on the news. Did they write them specifically for those scenes?

Watch this scene and write a song about it. Let it down the hall. Pull a chair out and make it trip over it. Yeah, I heard online that they originally wanted to cast Gene Simmons as the Sammy Kerr character, and he said no. Yeah.

He finally decided that the most he would do would be the cameo. But it is funny that, like, it's not even like the Ozzy one was pretty minimal but even the Gene Simmons who had you know a real role and was talking to you know the actor and was sort of in one scene like it's not even like I mean they go back to the radio station they could have worked him back in obviously it was like nope I'm coming in for an afternoon you better get everything you get with me I got one scene and I'm out of there I thought. It just occurred to me what would have happened if Keanu Reeves had gotten this role And Keanu Reeves would be where Skippy's at, and Skippy would be where. Keanu Reeves would be at. Interesting.

It would be a very weird alternate universe. It would. No, not with Skippy's looks. I'm sorry. Skippy in the Matrix?

Think about that. I thought Roger would be pretty cute if he wasn't so nerdy looking. Hmm. I don't know. It's an interesting alternate universe.

I'll give you that. So the same guy that directed this directed Dolphin Tale? That's the other thing I was going to go into. He also had a cameo in this film. He's the teacher with the Groucho nose.

Yeah, he was the old principal, actually. Charles Martin Smith. Yeah, he's actually Terry the Toad from American Graffiti. If you see him, he's an actor. Really?

He's the Toad? He's the Toad. He's in The Untouchables. You can see the poster. He's that fourth guy.

He's not the other three that are pretty big actors. He's that other guy. He's the Bulls in The Untouchables. He's done like a hundred movies. You know him when you see him.

He's in all kinds of stuff. But yeah, this was his first directing job. And truthfully, the directing isn't bad. I was watching it today, and I was just like, it's pretty competent to be, at first time out, like just watching the basic version that it's pieced together and what they did with it it actually looks pretty good you know I didn't think it was a bad movie it was just. I mean it's silly 80s stuff it's silly but you know what 80s stuff you look at it I think of things that I thought were I guess wicked and creepy and maybe slightly scary back in the 80s that I look at now and I'm like, dude, that's just so fucking dumb.

Why did I think this was, you know. I don't know. Just like certain. I don't know. Like certain rock songs that I was just like, man, this.

Stuff's so hardcore. It's so fucking hardcore. And then I go back and listen to it now and I'm like, this isn't even hardcore. It's like... I don't know.

It's like pop music now. Yeah. Yeah, when. Sammy came back to life on stage, and he sang that song. I'm just like, this isn't an evil song at all.

Yeah. It's a radio rock song. I know. It is. Yeah.

I think we're just so desensitized nowadays. We are. Like, the lyrics they were reading, I'm just like, uh. I'm pretty sure, like, Selena Gomez or someone could sing that song. I don't know.

Bad enough. Well, no, that's the thing. I mean, like, the ones that Ozzy's reading, I was like, It sounds like they're making him up to be stupid. I'm like, no, I've heard a lot of rock songs that have equally and sometimes worse lyrics that are just terrible. Rap songs are just as bad.

Everything's just as bad. You weren't paying attention. So, yeah. Damn it. I was trying to flatten out my Hershey Kiss record.

I was trying to do it quietly so I wouldn't get in trouble like you did. I understand because as a kid growing up, even before I got into any kind of music scene or anything like that. Like I mentioned, my parents were kind of hardcore Baptists. Before that, they were Methodists. And my family is actually tied to the Methodist Church.

My grandfather was a minister. So you are a demon child. Yeah, well, no, I mean, my family is even more tied to the Methodist Church than just that. We're actually descended from the founders of the Methodist Church. So we come from a whole long line of Bible people.

But, yeah, there was a point I remember growing up where I actually was thinking that if I listened to this music, I was going to become a devil worshiper. There was a. Point when I was growing up that I actually thought listening to this would summon the devil and shit like that. I got into reading books on backmasking and all that other shit and just kind of realized eventually I started thinking for myself and realizing that it was all a bunch of propaganda bullshit. Yeah.

I mean, as much as I listened to that kind of stuff, I didn't care. Like, I never took any of it seriously as a kid. No. you have to realize it's mostly theatrics and it's record sales and and they're cashing in on kids wanting to rebel and what's the easiest thing. To do but i mean i bought into it in the dorky way i'm like yeah this album cover looks awesome well yeah but at the same time i'm not like and i think it's gonna summon demons i was just like no look at that cool monster on there that dragon's. Badass okay let's say meatloaf's bad out of hell awesome awesome fucking cover thoroughly disappointed whenever I listen to the music.

I like that album. It's an okay album, if you know what you're buying into. But it's not what matches that cover. But when you're a kid and you're shopping for music and you're going specifically by album art, you're looking for the most fucking evilest thing you can think of. It's an awesome album.

And you look at that, and granted, you know, most people are like, ah, you should have known Meatloaf. Well, you know what? I didn't listen to Meatloaf back then. I didn't listen. I wasn't allowed to have Music, I wasn't allowed to have a radio until...

I don't think I had a radio until I was probably close to a freshman in high school. Well, and he wasn't Meatloaf before that album. Like, that album is what made him. So, I mean, if you were going in cold, you know, if you don't listen to that kind of stuff. I was, like, looking at this fucking bat demon riding his motorcycle, and I was like, fuck yeah, man!

Actually, I was more like, cool! This is totally awesome! This is gonna be really neat! You know? And I bought it and listened to it, and I was like, this.

This doesn't match the album. I was duped. It wasn't an Iron Maiden. Which awesome album covers. Once again, I was all about some awesome album covers.

It wasn't Megadeth. It wasn't Metallica. It wasn't Slayer. It wasn't King Diamond. It wasn't any of that shit.

So yeah, we were going into the director. This was just odd looking through his stuff. Charles Martin Smith. This is his first movie. A few years later, he did the Boris and Natasha movie, which is kind of infamous for being terrible, terrible.

They could have done so much with that movie. Oh, and bringing De Niro in on that. That was just harsh. Oh, that was bad. Yeah, that's the De Niro film that he wishes.

Everybody would forget. Yeah, he's just like, let's pretend like that never happened. I won't, though. I'll let him live it down. So you want to write him off for that.

Okay, he does the first Buffy episode. He does Welcome to Hellmouth. So he directed that. Oh, cool. Followed immediately by Air Bud.

Figure that out. Oh, that's one of my dad's favorite movies. No, I don't know. It seems like it would be. Fast forward to this year.

Fast forward to this year, directed Dolphin's Tale. So, I don't know what to do with him as a director. He's successful here and there. He's competent, but yeah, some of those projects, I don't know what. To do with, so.

He's just kind of like, hey, are you going to pay me? Yeah, you go where the money is. I'll be there. It's one of those, I remembered this not being a great movie. I haven't watched it until recently, up until since it came out in the 80s, I'm sure I watched it on VHS, and I was just kind of like, eh, I didn't remember it being a great movie.

I kind of had fun with it. I mean, it wasn't as bad as I expected going in. I sort of remembered it being a little cheesier than it was, really. It was alright. It just seemed to last a little bit longer than I was comfortable with.

Yeah, it seems like, and this was the other thing I was going to say, it's not bad, but it's very conventional. Like, you almost, once you get through that setup, you almost see where everything's going. I mean, you know the big finale is going to be at the school dance. Isn't it always at the school dance in these movies? No matter what kind of movie it is, it's always going to go down at the high school dance.

The big one is Carrie, but then you get stuff even like the original Buffy movie. It goes down at the school dance. You've got even more not-so-creepy sub-genre stuff like Jawbreaker. It all goes down at the school dance. Every one of these.

I know. Jawbreaker's awesome. Even Heathers goes down at the school dance. Heathers. Everyone that takes place in high school, you know the final big scene is going to go down at the school dance.

I never even went to a school dance. I didn't even really know. Those things existed. We missed out on some serious drama. It's not too late.

I didn't go. You just got to find a guy that's in school. But he's not that young. Damn it. It's not too late, though.

Just keep that in mind. Just got to shop in the younger section. I think my cutoff line is 21. Damn it. You're missing out.

I don't know. The older you get, the lower that number can be. That's true. Once you hit the cougar days, it gets cooler and cooler. No, I mean.

I don't like younger guys typically, but he's, like, way more mature and, like, I mean, he's not boring, but he's, like, way more mature than me. Now you're just defending specifics. Yeah, I know. I'm defending my position. I'm dating a younger man.

Damn it. Let me defend my position. I was throwing the joke in there in general. I know. Nothing specifically.

I know. I take offense to that. Like when my boss called me a creepy. Cradle robber the other day. He goes, ah, you creepy cradle robber.

How much, what's the age difference? Five years. That's nothing. That's nothing. I told you that from day one.

It is when the guy's younger. I don't think so. What, because the guy's younger? Yeah. I don't get that.

What does that make any difference? I'm what, how many years older am I than you? A lot. 48? Get the hell out of here.

Oh, Lord. To me, yeah, that doesn't count in general, but. Yeah. Yeah. As long as it all.

Works, it's all good. Yes. I don't know. I just, I typically like older guys, so it's just weird to date a younger guy. But it's not bad, because he's, like, way more settled and normal than, like, the older guys.

That's all you need. Yeah. You know? Yeah. Find somebody that's grounded and.

He probably was, like, last year. No. Oh, wow. Not what I meant. I meant stable.

But that's pretty funny. You are. That was awesome, yes. You're grounded, though, man. Did you ground me?

You're an adult in. This video, right? He would think it was really sexy, so I don't know where that was coming from. You're going to punish me, okay. So.

So we got sidetracked. You can cut that out if you want. No, I don't think so. It almost does seem like the finale of it needs to be there at the school dance. It's like that last 15 minutes that are tacked on almost seems like we're, and it's not even like it's a long movie, but it does seem like, aren't we done now?

Yeah, it does seem like, but you kind of know. I mean, the whole time you're like, dude, what about the one at the radio station? Like you're sitting there the whole time going, yeah, you're breaking that tape, but what about the one at the radio station? At midnight, they're going to play it. So, I mean, you know it's coming.

You see, that's where the big grand finale is going to be. They spent too much time with the demon-possessing cars. Yeah, there was a lot of drama. But that's what I was getting at. I mean, they did a decent job on that kind of stuff.

Like, there's a lot of explosions in this movie, for no good reason other than, again, it's rock music videos. I like explosions. See, people like explosions. R.O. Technical.

There's a lot of quality explosions and cars driving off bridges and into other cars and flipping over. And, you know, for a movie that's about a high school kid, they work in a lot of that kind of stuff. So, you know, good job on that. We like that kind of stuff. I didn't hate it.

It's pretty entertaining. And it does go to prove that the things that the adults were saying were right. Metal music is evil and it's going to raise demons and it's probably going to kill you and your friends. So there you go. That's true.

Good to know. The movie proves them all right. If he had just. Let the damn guy kill his enemies, it wouldn't have been so much of a problem. Yeah, no, really.

Where would it have gone from there, though? After he took out his friends, then where would Sammy have gone? Okay, Sammy, get me some chicks and a record deal and an Atari. This all seems pretty good, actually. I think I might have let him go on.

Kill them, and then let me, I got a whole other list of stuff here I want you to do, so yeah. Clean my room. What am I, your fucking maid? I'm a rock star, damn it. My rock star.

That'd be sweet. Oh. All my own demon rocks try to do my chores for me. I don't want to do them. Clean all the Kleenex and stuff, my good man.

I am not touching them. My cat put those there. Sure, baby. All right, so with that, I think that wraps up Click and Shoot. Knock, knock, knocking for a sweet surprise.

It's a trick or treat. See my face, truth in disguise. Whatever you should need. Maybe you'll see someone's pushed on me. Rock and.

Roll, rock and roll, let my steal your soul. Is this haunted room actually stretching? Or is it your imagination? Don't be shy. We'd like to hear from you.

So give us a call at 502-365-5565. Or you can email us at geeks at moviemeltdown.com. And just stop by the website for our frequent updates. That's moviemeltdown.com. On by, on by, on by, on by.

What's part of your problem? You know, you haven't seen enough movies. All of life's riddles. Are answered in the movies. And now, on with the show.

As I walked out of my laboratory door, I saw the monster I'd created years before. Y'all remember that horrible face? He followed me at a deadly pace. The chills ran up and down my spine. No, no, Frankenstein!

I'm never gonna give. You up. I'm never gonna let you down. I'm never gonna run around. Are you gonna leave that in the show?

No. Never gonna say goodbye. Never gonna... Wait, wait, no. Never gonna tell.

No. I don't know. How it works. Why don't you figure out what it is that Rick won't do? So many things he won't do.

Alright, so while we're all here, it happens very rarely that even this many of us get together, so I thought I would get a few of these out. We've got some feedback. Feedback! So, we'll start off with one from PJ, who has actually moved into that category I was talking about earlier. So, thank you very much to PJ for helping us out.

He's definitely getting one of those photos. Stalker photos of Fake Feldman. There you go. Hey, Movie Meltdown crew. This is PJ, first time caller.

Just started listening to your guys' podcast about two months ago, three months ago. Randy let me know about you guys and decided to check you out, and he was right. You guys put out a good show, very entertaining. I don't know what people are complaining about whenever you guys have bad calls, but keep doing. What you're doing.

I enjoy it, and I'll keep listening. Have a good one. This is PJ and Randy. Hey, Movie Meltdown. This is PJ.

And it's Randy. And we just wanted to call in and say how awesome Misty is. Yay! And we think you guys are doing a great job. Keep up the good work.

Just wanted you to know I watched The Garbage Pail Kids the other day, and how the hell you made that through, I never know. That was the creepiest sexually innuendo-laden. Movie that watching as an adult was just like watching my testicles slowly recede up into my body. Thanks, guys. And I haven't, uh, watched it since I was a little kid, but, uh, yeah, I'll go with that.

Um, that's it. You guys have a good one, and thanks for everything. And take care, guys. I'll talk to you another time. So, yes, thank you to PJ and Randy.

Um, on the first one, I'm not, this is, again, this has been a while on some of those, so I'm not even sure how far back we're going on the, uh, The people having problems with us. I'm trying to remember which one it was. People hate me in general. Well, yeah, sure. But there was.

Something at the time, I think right before that, that we had mentioned that people were complaining about something stupid. Was it me hating gingers? No, it was after that. It's not that far back. There was something else after that.

Somebody's always complaining about something. It's usually me. Yeah. But yeah, so again, we haven't had much. Everybody lately has been pretty positive, so I'm thankful for that, and I'm glad people are enjoying it and not too offended by whatever we're saying.

We're still going to say it either way, because that's just kind of how we operate. I'm an ass. And I'm of the opinion that you should be able to operate that way. There are certain horrible things you probably shouldn't say, but I'm hoping you just have... sense enough to not say those in the real world but everything else i think everybody's entitled to their opinion and i think we need to be able to voice them that's what you know specifically that's what shows like this are there for because you can't do that in any other medium out there. In the real world nobody can nobody can ever say how they truly feel anymore because everything's so pc everybody's like you don't want to hurt these people's feelings and you don't want to hurt these people's feelings what do you mean by these people I mean those people.

Those motherfuckers. Anybody who wants to get their damn feelings hurt. Whiny ass people. Whiny ass motherfuckers. Or fucking entitled people who stand in line in front of me at Book and Music Exchange buying a whole fucking handful of movies and wanting a fucking discount off of damn movies.

You know what? The fucking price is on the movies. That's what you pay. Because she's a fucking stupid lazy bitch and she wanted a discount. Well, can I get a discount for all these movies?

I'm buying all these movies. Can I get a discount? Well, it's not for bargaining and bartering. The guy's like. It's not a yard sale.

Yeah, it's not a yard sale. The guy's like. He's trying to work with her and he's trying to be nice and he's like, alright, look. He goes, I can maybe get you like maybe a little bit off of each one. So I think her total came up to be like $ 67.

Well, that's too much. I was sitting there thinking, bitch, you've got a whole fucking stack of. DVDs in front of you. It was more than, like... I mean, it was a big fucking stack of DVDs.

So she gets pissed off because she didn't get a good enough discount. Like you said, it's not a damn yard sale. It's not a bartering system. Well, and my question is, is it not... Aren't these used DVDs?

They're used. That's the discount. You're not buying them new, jackass. I know. That's the discount.

Yeah, so. So she decides, I'm just going to get one. I'm just going to get one. And so the guy's like, okay, well, that comes up to this much. And she goes, I don't get the discount off of these?

He's like, you're buying one. You don't get a discount for buying one. Jackass. And I was just like, oh, my God, the people these days always. Expect that they're going to get a deal or they're going to get a discount or whatever.

Everybody owes them something. Just fucking buy the damn thing. I didn't fucking go in there and be like, yeah, I'm buying a Buckaroo Bonsai book, which I happened to buy a Buckaroo Bonsai book that day, because that's how much of a nerd I am. Thank you, girlfriend, for showing me that. You know, I didn't, it's an old book.

Can I get a dollar off? It says 41 cents on the inside of the cover, which is probably what somebody paid for at a yard sale, but it's a book and music exchange for like $ 4, but that's okay. It's no big deal. But that's where it ended up. That's where it ended up.

If you want it, just shut up and pay it. And I'll pay the $ 4 for it. I'm not going to say, but it says on the inside cover 41 cents. Just fucking pay for it, okay? God damn it.

If you were at grandma's front yard, maybe she'd sell it to you for that, but you're in a store. Ugh. Everybody looking for a damn discount. Go to a yard sale. On that rant.

Sorry. So on the second one, yeah, thank you to both Randy and PJ. Thank you, Randy. Who were hanging out, obviously. Thank you, Randy.

PJ, too. PJ, too. Thank you, PJ. Which one said it was awesome more? I thought they said it in unison because you're so awesome.

I am. But, yeah, I don't know if they were talking about a specific episode. Because Marlena watched that recently, right? You recently watched Garbage Pail. Two years ago.

I don't know, because we didn't watch it for the show, so I'm still not sure. Did you watch Garbage Pail? I've never seen Garbage Pail. I mean, maybe I've talked about it, but the last time I watched it was like two years ago. Yeah, I think we brought it up.

I bought some old Wacky Packages. Does that count? Yeah, Wacky Packs. Randy, you probably remember Wacky Packs. I don't know.

I've got some. Yeah, I've got some. Early Wacky Packs. I bought one that I realized was worth a. Lot more than I paid for it.

I'm still wishing we could get rich on the show. I paid $ 5 for 76 cards, and one of them's worth $ 160. Whoa. Yeah. Awesome.

All right, bargain hunters, let's go. Yeah. Well, that's what we do. We look for shit, we find it, and. We're not purposely out looking for shit to flip because we're not like annoying people on.

Because we keep all of our shit. We keep all of our shit. Yeah, we're really bad at that. Because you're doing it wrong. Yeah, we're not doing it right.

My mom's always like, you need to sell that stuff on eBay. I'm like, why? This stuff's cool. But it's mine. The only reason I bought.

It was because I thought it was cool and not so I could make a buck off of it. We're geeks. We're not bargain hunters. I know. That's what aggravates me about these shows.

These guys are like, ah, I found this, but then I'm going to sell it for this. And I'm just like, no, you keep it. What are you doing? That's why I can't watch those shows. Oh, I know.

Because I get mad because I can't have it. Because the whole point of having those things is, like, the whole point of buying those things is because they're cheap. I don't give a shit if it's, like, some really super awesome thing that costs $ 120. I want it if it's $ 5. And I want it if it's $ 120.

It loses its awesomeness for me. I want it because it's cheap and tacky. Yeah, exactly. Just like my Tidy Bolts. Cheap and tacky.

Dude, he was so fucking excited about Tidy Bowl today. I want blue fucking toilet water. That's what I want. Well, put some Goulet in. I've got it.

Put some Goulet in there. It's not as. Dark blue as I thought it would be, but that's okay. Well, you've got the liquid instead of the chunk thing. Well, the chunk thing has to be blue, like real fucking blue for like maybe the first couple flushes and then it starts to fade out.

I want something that's consistently blue. This episode brought to you by a tiny boat. I'm sorry. Growing up as a kid, like in the late 70s and early 80s, my neighbor, I spent a lot of time over at their house. I was friends with their kids.

And they had just this gaudy, awful, tacky fucking 70s house complete with shag carpeting. But one thing that I can remember more than anything else, and conquistador paintings, That's nice. One thing that I remember more than anything else was going to use the bathroom in their bathroom, and they. Had blue toilet water, and I was fascinated. By that as a kid.

And I was like, damn it, when I get older and I have toilet, I'm going to have blue toilet water, because I know I've made it at that point. I've got blue toilet water. That is your sure sign of success. Fuck all you guys. I've got blue toilet water.

And I'm mad they ripped the shag carpeting out of this house. No, nobody needs shag carpeting. I do. It just gets gross. I don't care.

I mean, it looks tacky fun, but it just gets gross. We had shag carpeting in the first punk house that we lived in, which was all a bunch of fucking punk rock kids living in a house. That seems like a really bad place to have shag carpeting. Yeah, shag carpeting, and nobody wanted to do dishes. God, that place was a wreck.

We built fucking ramps in the house. Yeah. So, yeah, that was a damn mess. How did we veer so far from the point again? I don't know.

Oh, okay, sorry. Randy. Randy, PJ, you guys are awesome. Thank you for our feedback. Hey, it wasn't me this time, though.

Yeah, that's true. It's totally Jay this time. I'm sorry. I've had too much Kool-Aid and sugar. So, okay, that was our audio feedback.

Thank you once again, and thanks for your patience in sending those in a long time ago. But we. I wasn't going to not play them. It just took a while to get us in the same room where, you know, you scream out Misty's name. I figure she better be there while we play it.

Damn straight. Okay, so on that note, I wanted to get to this one, which this was recent. This was just this past week. And this was just in the middle of an email, but I thought it was so awesome I better pass it along to you and see if anybody else agrees. This was from John, who is also in our Super Deluxe.

Super Deluxe? Damn, how many levels of this fucking secret circle are there? It's like most secret circles. There's quite a bit. When you get to the hierarchy, you know, it's going to get trouble.

It's kind of like the Masons. Shh, don't say that, or I'm going to kill you. Secret of the Illuminati. They made Steve Guttenberg a star. So anyway, he is also in the secret circle, and everybody else is jealous, so they should join up too.

But, yeah, he was emailing me the other day, and he said, this is his quote from the middle of an email, I nominate Misty and Jay as the cutest couple on the net. Dude, we totally are. Oh, my God. Are we? How cute are we?

I guess we're pretty cute. Damn straight we are. Okay, what did he say? Give me a high five. Oh, Lord, they just high-fived.

Well, see that? At least we didn't do the fist bump. That's solid. Oh, don't do it. No, don't do it.

It's making me. Damn it. I have to do it. So, yeah, I can't argue. You guys are adorable.

I know. If everybody else agrees, just send money. Anyway, what were we talking about? Us being awesome. No, no, before that, we were talking about something online, and, oh, yeah, I said if it wasn't for you, I'd be eating paint chips and drinking bleach.

So thank you for watching out for me. That's only one night a week. Well, before she found me, I was living off a Red Bull and beef jerky, so. Well, then you found Randy, so. You're all set now.

I'm back on the beef jerky. So, yes. Thank you to John for that one. Yes, thank you. We are pretty cute.

Yeah, you can't argue with that. Sometimes it's hard being this cute. As a girl. It ain't to being cute. I don't know if it's a lot of work.

I should have covered half of this over here. Yeah, I know. I'm a whole lot of mess. I'm always fucking shit up, pooping on our parade. That's what makes you work.

As a cop. It all balances out. I didn't think you were using a metaphor, but I thought you were going to say you were pooping on something real and tangible. No, she always says, why you got to fuck up my Christmas? And I always say, I'll poop on your brain.

That's what I do. I'll poop all over it. I fly above. Got little turd bombs on it. You do?

Oh, Jesus. Wow. Interesting. All right. Let's round out this.

This Goulet-filled episode. Okay, kids, get out your Dakota pins. Yes. Set your pins to B2. Here is the map.

It's time for Movie Outdown Secret Circle, which there are many wonderful members joined now. Reveal the next exciting feature. Oh. See, this is the only level that everybody's entitled to, so even the slackers out there that don't do anything get this one. Next week, we'll be back at the coffee shop for another edition of the Caffeinating Movie Geek.

And our super feature of that week will be The Incredible Shrinking Woman. And it will feature one of our One from the Vault's memories from Miss Lily Tomlin herself. So it will be exciting. Marlene is already excited. She can barely contain herself.

Look at her. She looks confused. Do you have to poop? Yes. Everything is about poop free.

I don't usually look confused when I have to poop. I know I have to poop, but there's no confusion there. Oh, Lord. You tried to break her bathroom earlier. I'm kind of afraid you did.

I'm not going to poop in your bathroom. I'll go home and poop. Oh, Lord. So with that, is there anything else you need to round out this spooky episode? Kool-Aid for a candy-fueled episode.

Dude, I ate most of the candy in the mall. Yeah, the ghost bowl is mostly empty right now. Except for the one Reese cup that's got a weird chocolate smudge on it. I don't care. I'll eat around that.

I ate all the rest of the Hershey Kisses, though. You shorted us on. The Kit Kats. You can have another one if you want. I don't know.

I don't think I should. I'm kind of disappointed in Halloween costumes this year. They've become more and more just fucking lame. They suck. They're generic.

What was that one costume we saw? Which one? The John Cena fan. The wrestling fan? Yeah, really.

Come on. The wrestling fan? Yeah, wrestling fan. What? Why would you want to be.

A wrestling fan? All he was was a guy wearing a John Cena shirt and a pair of shorts. Yeah. Was that like a costume? That was a costume.

That was the $ 40 fucking costume in a plastic bag. Why can't you just buy a John Cena shirt for $ 10? Because that would. Be too much creativity. Why couldn't you just go as a fucking ghost?

You would just be like a regular guy. I need it in a plastic bag. It has to be in a plastic bag with a picture on the front telling me that it's a costume. Otherwise, I don't know. I don't know.

I used to get excited when the Halloween Express would open up, and now it's just gotten depressed. It just fucking depresses. Everything's in a bag, and it's all fucking mediocre. Or slutty. Or slutty.

There's a bug on our tables. Yeah, you know, I don't know, like the costumes, like women are limited on their costumes to slutty. Pretty much. And guys are limited on their costumes to, I guess, guy costumes. Generic class. a million times.

Those stupid pun costumes. I'm so over them. Vampire priest. Or knight. Or.

Guy in a hot dog costume. It's the pun costumes that piss me off. Like the one night stand. Oh yeah, those are horrible. I'm a legal suit.

I've got legal documents pinned to my suit. Mail order broad. What happened to people coming up with original ideas? Have we become so stupid as a fucking society? So lazy that we can't come up with shit?

I mean I remember when well I don't remember but I'm pretty sure there's a time when costumes didn't really exist so much you couldn't like go to the store and buy them you kind. Of had to like you made your own you know I mean I don't know it's like I guess maybe it got started around Who knows? It's like 90s, like mid-90s when everything switched to packages. Yeah, but I mean, I even remember in the 80s having that nasty vinyl smell costume with the plastic mask. I had plenty of those, too.

I still got one. Mine was 50-50. Yeah, I got one. Whatever happened to. Just taking some old clothes and making yourself into a hobo or even.

A hobo clown? Those are not good. A hobo zombie clown. Nobody should be hobos at this point. I'm not a stabbing hobo.

I'm a singing hobo. What? Something I heard off of. I'll have to copy it for you. It's a hobo podcast where they did nothing but hobo music.

It was pretty funny. I think that's from the Simpsons. I don't know what it's from. I thought it was from the Simpsons. The kids are like, oh, thank God.

He's like singing them a song. He goes, something about I'm a hobo living a hobo life. Stabbing kids with my hobo knife. Ha ha ha. Awesome.

Well, I have to say, going back to this week's movie, I still am most impressed with that chick who put a giant box on herself and made her a box's special cake. Did you see her in the gym? No. She just had a big cardboard box around herself. She cut out arm holes and drew Special K on the front.

That's creative. That's shit. The fact that she chose to be Special K. But it's funny. It's using your brain.

It's not having to go and spend $ 60 on a costume. That's the low end. There's some freaking expensive costumes out there. They look like slutty Bo Peep. Yeah.

And the less material there is in those, the more they're. Usually going to crawl. Yeah, that doesn't make any sense. That's when you know it's a good thing. To be fair, most of the people that are buying the slutty girl costumes don't have any fucking business wearing the slutty girl costume.

I'm sorry. I've got a slutty girl costume. Which one? I don't. Yours could be one if you wore it right.

My circus girl costume? No, I was talking about the... I thought you were talking about previous ones. Oh, yeah. You've worn some that.

Could be, but you usually change them so that they weren't. Well, no, before the slutty girl costume thing exploded, I was. Oh, sorry. Come on, slutty explosions. It's my favorite thing.

Explosions. I did have a slutty Alice in Wonderland costume and a slutty Bo Peep costume. But you usually put like 14 layers of other clothing on. Yeah, exactly. I like to refer to it as double bag.

Put a pair of. Tights on over my underwear and then put a pair of underwear on over my tights. Yeah, there you go. That's what I did with my Alice in Wonderland costume. Keep it warm.

Keep it in check. Keep it warm. Ruffle butt. Yeah. Ruffle butts.

I'm going to show her the change. But I wasn't. I wasn't showing anything. That was so funny. About my ruffle blip.

That's the thing, you know, I would never, I don't even like people to see, like, anything above my elbow when it comes to, like, me showing skin. But I wear, like, really low cut. Well, there's a lot below your elbow, too. I'm tired. I like to cut it off at the wrist.

Really? I don't like them seeing my hands. I try to wear gloves as much as possible. You know what I mean? You know what I mean?

We've discussed my sweater problem. Like, I have to have a sweater. She's like 184 degrees outside. I need a sweater. I bought a whole bunch of short-sleeved.

Sweaters this year. You weren't there when she had the meltdown of sweaters. I don't have a sweater. And then I had to make... Ben and I went to Target to buy short-sleeved sweaters.

I'm like, short-sleeved sweaters! She needed her fix. It was kind of poopy. I actually bought a whole bunch of short-sleeved sweaters this year, so I'm good. She's making her arm, trying to find the vein.

Come on. If it's short-sleeved, you can find it. Just tie it off with a piece of yarn. Come on, it'll work. Trying to find a big enough spoon to kind of get it all in there.

She looks confused. Never mind. I got it. I know you got it. No, I'll wear really short skirts, but I always wear tights, and I feel like that doesn't count.

People are like, that dress barely covers your butt. I'm like, but I'm wearing tights. It doesn't count. It doesn't matter. I think to some people it does.

Yeah, but it doesn't. You can't see anything through tights. Except that one girl we saw at Fright Night. Well, I mean, I wouldn't like. Saw all up under her undercarriage.

I wouldn't wear tights and nothing else, but I'm just saying, it's okay to wear a really short dress because you can't see anything. The point I was trying to make was when you were a kid during Halloween, it seemed like I spent a majority of the summertime trying to come up with what I was going to do or what I was going to be for Halloween. You remember when kids in July would be like, dude, what are you going to be for Halloween? We were already working on our shit. We were working on our costumes.

We got real. I guess I was never big on it, I guess. Well, you usually didn't trick-or-treat. I was too afraid to. Even as a kid, I had social anxiety.

I couldn't go knock on doors or anything. Because it goes against everything you're fucking taught as a child. You don't go take fucking candy from strangers. Oh, but this one night it's okay. I have the same rant pretty much every year.

I don't understand why it's okay one night of the year to take candy from strangers. You don't get to do it any other time. Why is it magically okay? I don't know. I guess I got lucky.

I grew up in a little small valley. with houses, and everybody knew each other, and everybody knew each other's kids, and all the kids went to school together, and we all went to the same church, and we had this huge neighborhood hayride where everybody in the entire neighborhood would come out to this one guy's field, and we would get on the back of his tractor, and we would ride from house to house, and we would get to one house, and of course the guy would have to him and his wife would have to get off the tractor and run to the house and get in the house and then turn on lights and pretend like, ah, trick-or-treat, what's fun? You know, we just saw you a minute ago. And here you are. But, yeah, it was...

I had a good childhood, I guess, in that aspect. I'd do that now. You know? I'm not saying I didn't have a good childhood or anything. No, no, I'm just saying, like, in that, I miss that for my kid.

I wish... I wish I could provide her with that growing up because she doesn't really have any friend friends. It's not like it was when I was growing up. She doesn't have any kids that she. Like, I guess goes to school with and rides the bus with and then comes home and then they come over and then they hang out and have sleepovers.

Oh, my God, could you imagine that? Or the movies. Well, no, my kid's not really into that, so, you know. She's already weird. They've already labeled her as an outcast.

Oh, Lord. She's going to be the Skippy. No, I don't know. She's an outcast or an outsider? She's an outsider.

Can you play an MP3 player backwards? I don't know. That's what she said the other day. She was all bummed out. She came home from school.

I was like, what's wrong? She goes, they called me an outsider today. And I was like, see, that's a bad thing. And she's like, but they said, I was like, you should be happier an outsider. I was like, why do you want to be like everybody else?

I was like, why do you want to be like all these kids? I was like, look at all the people that you like. Yeah, look at these dorks. Do you want to be like them? I was like, look at all the people that you like.

I was like, you like Tim Burton, right? She's like, yeah. I was like, do you think he was in with the in crowd? Do you think he was playing football and all this? Well, no, maybe not.

I was like, look at all the, you know, look at Joey Ramone. Look at, you know, all the people that you like. He was cool. You just don't want to look at him. Yeah, I mean, just think about the people that you like.

And think about how they were growing up and who they were. I was like, just be yourself. And if the kids like you, they like you. And if they don't, then screw them. Who cares?

Then knife them. No. I'm not going to tell her that. That was your old. As a parent, I guess you can't pass that along.

Yeah, no. She's heard those stories. I wish you would quit telling her those stories. They don't seem like a good idea. Probably not.

I pissed off and stabbed this guy one time. What did you get out of her? I was a jackass. She's like, hmm, files that away. Yeah, I know.

I need to really watch what I say. You do. Why did you get kicked out of high school again? Dad said it was fine. Yeah, Dad was stabbed again.

My dad did it. It's okay. There's a difference. It's a different time. And I was fine doing it.

You can't do it, though. Yeah. Oh, Lord. Well, I'm out of Kool-Aid. Does that mean we're done?

Yeah, I'm out of Kool-Aid, too. No, I gotta go to Marlena Chuck's first. I gotta go to work tomorrow. I have to go to class. All right, so give them your Halloween send-off here.

Huh? I don't know. You have no Halloween wishes for these people? Um. I hadn't really thought of anything.

You kind of sprung it on me at last minute. No, I'm pretty sure it's been coming for a year now. Happy Halloween, everybody, and I hope you don't get any razor blades in your apples or. Don't get ripped by any green monsters. Faringes in your taffy and, yeah, no downstairs hand action from the green goblin.

Unless you want it. Unless you want it. Then it's fine. But then you end up with melty ears. As long as everybody's willing.

You know, it's cool. It's not like you gave her roofies or anything. You just yeah did he give her any stds though i don't know. I mean you think about it it's kind of like that whole fucking you know uh marvin gaye action you know he kind of she was like yeah i think i can get down with this. Well i didn't have a problem with that scene because i mean to me it's the exact same thing as the ghostbusters scene which one The Dan Aykroyd scene.

Oh, the Dan Aykroyd scene? He didn't seem to have a problem with it. Now, did he seem like he was being molested? Well, yeah. No, not really, because he was into it.

So, it's no, I'm not reversing it just because it's a gender thing. I'm like, no. You can't call it molestation if you're into it. They both seem like they were into it. Well, no, if you're both above 18, and this ghost was old.

You know, so as long as everybody's adults and everybody's willing, it's all good. How old was the girl in, uh. She was probably, like, about 18. She was in high school. She's fine.

Legal age, you can sit. In this state, the legal age you can sit for a ghost is 17. Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. Which state now? They were in New Jersey.

They were in Jersey. There's no fucking rules in Jersey. Yeah, really. I was just thinking, and this is stupid, but I was just thinking... I was like, ah, look, a world where Snooki and the rest of the fucking Jersey Shore cast don't exist at this time.

At this point in. Time, they're not around. And when the coolest guy you know, you write a letter to him and you send it to Hoboken. I know. I was like, wow, really?

I was like, that's the coolest guy in. The world for you? Well, you're in Hoboken. All right. Well, that was just the kind of Halloween send-off I was looking for, so.

Otherwise, that about does it. We will turn next week. Same geek time, same geek feed. Thanks for listening and happy Halloween. Happy Halloween.
