All right now we can move on can the real world can we after this not really but we still have to threaten people god forbid we not get a movie thread in so um i was going through we don't really have any specific things that crossed over with this week sometimes i find a thread this time i just went with this one because i like the idea it's Equally as ridiculous as everything else we've been talking about. So the one I came across is Kill Katie Malone. Ooh. You like the idea of Katie Malone being killed? Once we get into this.

So the plot, according to the back of a box that I found, says, College kids and best friends, Ginger, Jim, and Dixie. I mean, don't you like these kids already? They pool their cash to buy a. Ghost in an online auction. Yes.

Okay. Are you not on board? I got to that and I was. Like, yeah, this is so dumb. I can see us doing it.

Stop reading and just press play. And just start watching that movie. That's what I thought. So, yeah. The three think it's a goof, but once they open up the antique box to examine their treasure, in quotes, they unleash the vengeful spirit of an Irish servant girl who's been wreaking havoc on her owners throughout generations.

All right. That sounds fun. I mean, I'm kind of okay with putting that. On the list. IMD described it in a nutshell as fantastic, thrilling, and violent.

Well, there you go. These are words we're looking for in our movies. So, yeah, if you guys don't come up with something better, I'm fine with putting Kill Katie Malone on the list. It's got Stephen Coletti in it, which I think is an actual actor. Hmm.

I don't know that it is. But anyway. It's got someone named Lil' J. Maybe we're taking it back off the list. I didn't know Lil' J was in this.

Never mind. So, yeah. I like it if people just come up with movies all on their own and join the club and put them on our list and then we don't have to come up with this nonsense. But instead, I have to go out in the world and find a ghost that you buy online. Hey, Stephen Coletti was on One Tree Hill.

That's a show. Which season? Ah, that's a good question. Because it takes a turn. It's like, awesome, awesome.

Wait, what are we doing? And by the end, I was like, is this show still on? If Hillary's not here, you're wasting my time. Speaking of wasting time, if you don't give us something better, we're going to say things, and then we're going to say ridiculous things like this. He's gorgeous.

The sister's gorgeous. Their cousin's gorgeous. This is why everybody's hooking up. Well, knowing you, that sounds like you, but I don't know what happened. Hopefully, you didn't die.

No, I did. I don't think so. Okay. I felt like I was going to die. If you're a g-g-g-ghost, you have to tell us now.

Oh, I would tell you. Okay. I would be cool with it, actually. First one almost ties to the movie. I mean, does.

Kind of, but indirectly. Or directly, but so distantly that it doesn't really tie to the movie. Like, you don't have to see it. But it has a very specific thing from the movie that plays an important part in it. A friend of mine has recently turned me on to necrophilia.

Oh. Zombies versus infected people versus not zombies versus being dead or undead versus just sick. That was fun. I don't remember any, during the mad cow disease, I don't remember any reports of man eating hamburger patties. I wish.

And in this one, he continues to be creepy, but like, he can also kind of get it. I think that's what I've heard about this movie. I feel like everybody's getting it in this movie. Okay. It's very sexual.

All right. Yeah. Way more than I, like I kind of knew some of it was going there, but there's a lot of, a lot of focus on the free will. If you're, if you're given this life, what are you going to do with it? And you realize really quickly if there's nothing else telling you not to do that, why wouldn't you just do that?

Yeah. Some of them were just like, nope, they just dig up corpses and fiddle around with them. And I'm like, Ooh. Yeah. It ties to one of mine.

And fiddle around is putting it mildly. Yeah. That one's a more fun one, because at least she's back from the dead, so you know. So I could see how it's very controversial. I told my friends afterwards, I was like, I don't want to directly recommend it to you, because I don't want you to watch it and go, Nora told me to watch this?

Nora's a freak. Which we already know that, so it's okay. But your regular friends, they're not prepared for that. It's a wild ride. Going not knowing what it's about.

There's a lot of bodily fluids that happen that I was not expecting. Yeah, that was one of the things you complained about. Yeah. Joy. They even showed little babies.

Yeah. Little babies humping each other. Which was interesting. Yeah. They're mad.

Joy. Putting stuff on the shelves, and she found a product that she was telling us about this, and she was like, yeah, we had this stuff. I don't know what it is. And I asked the guy, and he said it was something called VCR head cleaner. Yeah, it was fancy.

Technology. You had to clean your VHS. You're probably a slacker, and you aren't even cleaning your streaming service ever, are you? No. You heathen.

No. Also, the banjo music in that scene was so overpowering that they're like having a conversation and I was like, turn down the banjo. I have said that exact line. I cannot hear what you are saying. It's like, your mom's dead.

Suck it up. We can smoke dope together, but God forbid we talk about boyfriends. Whereas I weirdly thought Billy Zane looked like he could be dating his daughter. There you go. Why didn't we work with that?

Should we check on mother? Has she been eaten? Who knows? I mean, who hasn't tried to drunkenly get ice out of a hotel ice machine? By sticking their head in it and looking for it.

Exactly. It's really gross and, like, really beautiful and it's really something. Recommend! I'll recommend it to this podcast. Yeah.

You guys are weird, so you'll like it. You'll like it. Or at least be interested by it. Oh, it could be. Be like, I want you to be sexy when I put you in the room.

Again, with the necrophilia. Here we go. The theme circles back. Who doesn't love necrophilia? So come up with a better option than whatever we had to watch and whatever we're potentially going to watch like Kill Katie Malone.

And go to MovieMeltdown.com, join the Meltdown Horror Club, and give us something better to watch. Or worse. We don't care. Or we'll kill Katie Malone. It's like a threat at this point.

Oh, wait. It was always a threat. You know, I hope there's someone out there named Katie Malone who every time we say, we're going to kill Katie Malone, is like, eh. Or she's calling the police right now. These weirdos are threatening me on the internet.

That's what the internet's for, man. Don't worry, Katie Malone. We can barely tie our own shoes. That's kind of true. This one's too tight.

It's cold. I don't want to leave the house.
