Well, I mean, first we have to let these people know about this important movie threat. And this one has been going on for a while. Because I keep, I'll always pick something else sort of semi-related. And then I'll go back and look at the things I've got. And I'm like, oh man, I keep forgetting to do that one.

Because this one is maybe the most frightening one on our potential scary list. So, our movie threat of the episode is. Worm. Oh. Wait, hold on.

What's that say? Worm. What the hell? Yeah, read that. Go ahead.

Where their worm dieth hot and their life is not. Oh, their fire is not quenched. Okay. That's on the front of the packaging. That's the tagline.

Yeah, there's your catchy tagline that's going to win people over. Now, let's imagine what the back is going to say. Because that's the thing. I looked at it and was like, what the hell is this weird-ass indie movie? And then you get to the back...

It's got this goofy picture of this guy, and it says, Adam knows. Yes, he knows. He was a high school kid that thought he had all the answers. Cool friends, girlfriend, but no time for the Lord. Oh.

I was like, oh, shit. Like, this is for real frightening. Then he died and went to hell. That'll happen, yeah. Is hell real?

Ask Adam. He knows. I can't. He's dead. Even hell.

Worm will make everyone think about their own eternity. Did Kirk Cameron have anything to do with this movie? I don't see him on here, but yeah, here's... You looked, didn't you? Here's Adam, in case you need to know what Adam looks like.

He does not look like a movie star. Adam knows. He looks like he's a cool kid who's got it all. He's got it all, except time for the Lord. Well, I mean, there's only so many hours in the day.

We're pretty open-minded about our crappy movies that we watch but i don't know religious horror. Is gonna be a whole nother level yeah i don't think. I've ever heard of like i mean really christian yeah i mean there's like the conjuring and stuff that's kind of but. Those are like a lot of religious horror hollywood people using religion in their movie to tell their story like the exorcist is like all kinds of religion in quotes but like He could care less about winning people over to the Bible. He's just there to make use of the power of Christ compels you.

You make use of religion for your horror. Usually, you're not trying to swing people to your side. The evangelical Christian horror. I feel like Adam here is going to try to get you on the side of the Lord. Yeah, I don't know.

That one seems pretty scary. If you really want to force us to watch... Worm, which also the title is a grabber. Yeah, go ahead and put that on the list. Yeah, but apparently there's like 50 movies called Worm.

Is it Worm or The Worm? I think this one's just Worm. Yeah, it looks terrible. And again, in this red tag that's on the front of it there, I'm pretty sure it says 69 cents. They can't give it away at 69 cents.

Because you'll notice I just took a picture of it. Well, I wouldn't buy in that shit. Apparently, you can go on YouTube and watch the entire movie and it's only 30 minutes long. Yeah. Okay.

So this might be doable. That's not too bad. You say that now. Yeah, I was going to say, I feel like I watched the trailer back when I first took that. I was like, what the hell is this?

I went and found that and was like, oh, this looks bad. Like just filmmaking standpoint is usually the worst for me. Like. Regardless of what. Message you're trying to put out there, I can't stand when you just can't shoot things or light properly or that gets on my nerves more than anything.

It's just bad filmmaking. So take your message and go get a real budget. So anyway, if you'd like us to watch something better than Worm, please join the Meltdown Horror Club and give us a title to put on our list that's Much better than Worm Room or any of the Worm knockoffs that Phillip is pulling up here. I am playing the movie right now on the YouTube and I fast forwarded through the beginning of the movie, went about two and a half minutes in, still on the same shot of a woman standing in a door. Yeah.

Sounds like a winner. Now, in this last two minutes that you scan through, do you feel a little more called by the Lord? Not at all. Oh, okay. Well, it's not doing its job.

But I am confused because did you say on the back of the packaging he had a steady girl? Did I hear that? Let me go through this again. Let's see. I believe it was good friends and a girlfriend.

Yeah, it says cool friends. Cool friends. Girlfriend. Girlfriend. No, I'm pretty sure that means girlfriend because I'm looking at a scene right now where he is sitting in a church pew and with a young man and there is a really strong gay vibe going on.

Which, hey, I'm cool with it, you know, but it does not seem to add up to the rest of them. Yeah, that doesn't usually get approved by most religious people, so... I know there are some sections that are cool with it, but not most, I feel like. I don't know, I steer clear of most religion at this point, so. Anyway...

Look at that, back me up here. There's... I mean. They're just cool friends. Yeah, cool friends.

Yeah, and, you know, cool friends who. Do cool friend stuff. Yeah. Kissing sometimes. There you go, yeah.

They're just waiting for a break in the sermon so they can sneak out. You gotta... And hey, again, before. You send in your complaints, totally cool with it. You gotta have something to do at youth group.

Anyway. Where were we? Come up with a better movie to watch totally derailed on a movie we haven't even seen and. Yeah otherwise we'll have to watch worms so and then it won't be as good as what we did this week where you'll hear us say amazing things like this because i'm watching it going i kind of feel like i know what this movie is not yeah is there any twist and turn or is it just Yep, there you go. That's what we assumed was going on.

It was pretty much what I was expecting. So if everybody else is on the same brain length as I am, then yes. I just watched it like a few months ago for the first time. Jamie Lee Curtis is in two movies that feature a train full of people in costumes. But was it?

Wait, what's the other one? Training Places. That's true, actually. I forgot about that. If it's someone in their like 70s. would be like, it's Dracula, I'm pretty sure.

But normal people would be like, what's a wicker man? So that was my Christmas gift. It's beautiful. It says a lot about me. It's amazing.

It's basically a lot like a Japanese version of Squid Games, except it... No, it's exactly like Squid Games, now that. I think about it. It's nothing but weird bird sounds and he specifically did that because it's unnerving after a while yeah see I never like noticed that before because he did. A great job because he's a freaking genius it is everywhere like it is rare that I.

Have seen anything get this much like exposure like and I don't think it's a bad thing like i just it's weird because they're really pushing it movies that well i mean not even just the pushing it but like people just talking about it just like constant references online tons of stuff on tv but not even like ads just like people on shows and they're like anybody they have in the cast they're just like we gotta talk about this and i'm like i don't remember any movie in quite a long time like i got this much like just general attention from anything. I i've seen like yeah screenshots from that movie and they're it's nightmarish. The characters are unnerving on their own but the ridiculous thing is when you watch it i forgot how little there is to that movie oh yeah it's like three or four scenes essentially like they're extended.

But, like, there's just a couple of scenarios and a bunch of craziness. And, like, that's pretty much it. Like, I kept waiting for, like, oh, and then the bigger plot. No, there really isn't a bigger plot. There's nothing going on.

And then at the end, it's like, did we resolve anything? Do we even know what happened to half these people? Not really. No. It just doesn't seem like any of this is worth your time and effort.

Yeah. Now, I was going to say, are we talking about within the game or us sitting at home? Because yes is the answer to that too. The lance guy was like the most cartoonish. The most bad.

Guy i was like what is his accent what is this he. May as well had a top. Hat yes he was so just like that might have been interesting. Obtusely bad he's just like i just hang around and tell you you'll never make it out of here i'm like who talks like that well i'm not. Even like following a path like It's like, what's the worst thing you could say to anything I'm going to say right now?

And, like, she would say something about an entirely different thing. And he'd be like, huh, wait a minute. Let me think of the douchiest thing I can say in response to that. Like, because it wouldn't, like, he would change things. Like, okay, I'm going to kick you guys out on the street because I'm your landlord or whatever.

He wasn't really. He's like the building manager or whatever I am. I'm going to kick you out. And then later he's like, I'm going to hook up with your mom. Like, what?

Those are two different things. Like, how do you? I don't. What are you? So now you're a drug dealer, but now you're the landlord.

And now you're my mom's boyfriend that I hate. He was just like, insert random douchebag behavior. We didn't feel like writing three different characters. We're just going to make this one guy really suck. Those two were insane.

Like they just had enough money and power for a span of 10 to 12 years to get what they made, what they wanted made, no matter how ridiculous it is. And they had no problem buying properties that weren't even theirs. Like, I did think they made a good choice in that scene to not show the rat. Yeah. I thought that was, again, glad they did that.

That could have been a way to do this where it's like, it's, it's more creepy that you're imagining it with your cheesy little graphics that what you're listening to the horror actually happened. So I'm like, that could be a really good way to do this. And we don't always get that. When it got, when it got to that scene, I was like, Who are these people? And I'd totally forgotten about the first five minutes.

And it was only when you see the scar on the mom's face. I'm like, oh, that must be the, oh, I don't care. He just starts to outlive everyone else in his life. Like, that's disturbing. Oh, no.

That's disturbing. Because he's cursed to be undead. He is. He's Dracula, so he'll live forever and everyone around him dies. Have fun, kids!

Towards the end, he's like, I collect stuff from the 80s. I collect things again, which is the whole. So that should be a warning to us that stuff from the 80s is probably cursed. Yeah, they were the only ones that I actually wanted to know what happened. There was at least something going on there.

I don't know what happened. And then we get nothing. The way that it's presented is kind of dumb and wouldn't work. She does even at one point. I'm saying kind of.

These are like public service announcements. Whatever you do, kids, don't watch Worm. You have not learned anything. I just want to see how they stretch that into 30 minutes. That same shot for 30 seconds.

Yeah. They call me Dr. Worm. Good morning, how are you? I'm Dr.

Worm. I'm interested in things. I'm not a real doctor, but I am a real worm. I am an actual worm. I live like a worm.

I like to play the drums. I think I'm getting good, but I.
