It's showtime, folks. Enjoy the show. Our nuclear reactor pumping out. One million kilowatts of power. Provide more cooling in the containment chambers.
You could ask yourself question do i feel lucky. Well do you punk we now return to the meltdown gang in the middle of horror weekend in indianapolis. I fear mayonnaise. I'm not afraid. It just freaks me out.
I put it on my fried bologna. He does. The sick bastard. I watched it. It was gross.
I hate you, Brian. Oh, I thought that would get you. You said no better than anybody. All right, we're talking about the geek week. We're talking about, should we introduce ourselves?
Probably. We're now here having lunch. Do we need to re-intro? Because I wasn't there before. Now I'm here.
Say hello. Hi, I'm Misty. Randy's here too. Hey, it's me, Randy. Hi.
And Jay's here. Hi. And Marlena. Would you like to be the lightning bug? Oh, the TL bug.
The TL bug. There you go. Are you going to introduce yourself too? Lisa. Woo!
You have to put up with Randy, so you should be like the hero of every episode. Seriously. Awesome. It's time for geek week now. Are you excited about your geek week?
No, not really. I want to get it in between Eaton's. Go. Go for it. Oh, we didn't do anything.
That's what you were so excited about? We were just waiting to stick knife in Brian's. We watched Boondock Saints again just because I wanted to get ready for Sean Patrick Flannery's awesomeness. It was pretty awesome. I went on in there.
My face almost touched Sean Patrick Flannery's face. It was so exciting. It would have caused paralyzation. I was afraid I was going to catch botulism. I don't know if you can catch botulism by touching faces.
But he was really nice, though. He told me to delete the card picture. He's not PC at all, which I guess means he fits in on our show. It means I like him even more. He's awesome.
Did we do anything else? I worked a lot overtime. That was about it. I already ran out of books last week. Would you like to partake in Geekly?
Sure. Let's see. This week I had one of our Twitter friends came into town. We went up to Atomic Books, which is the greatest bookstore on Earth. Literary finds for mutated minds.
Are you going to pay for that? I'm telling you, that is. They're worth it. They're worth it. It's where John Waters gets his mail.
I was going to ask, can you just drop off a letter for me? Yeah. Or drive me to his house. Sure. I mean, I'm pretty sure you could kiss enough ass there to, like, know when he's going to show.
Not that. I kind of picture him as sort of like a. this crazy urban rat-type human being. I love that guy. Did he take the sewers there? Well, I don't think he walks around the streets.
They'd mob him. So, let's see, we did that. The night before we came out. Here, we watched The Warriors on HD DVD, which was the revised one that had the horrific. cartoon intros i don't think i've seen. It bad idea yeah they they open up with a whole thing of greek legends showing you and i'm sitting there going what the hell is this and walter hill like explains it like this is what i wanted to do and it has transitions where they'll come to a scene and they'll cut and it'll go to a comic panel it's it's very distracting and kind of terrible.
Have they actually changed the movie, or. It's a special feature? It's inherent in viewing it. You can't... I don't like that.
It's like, um. I don't like that. They spliced it in to what the movie already was. Bad idea. And it sucks.
Kind of like the re-release of Star Wars. Right. Yeah. They don't have, like, an option where you can watch the original or anything? It's like adding calliope music.
They don't have, like, an option to watch the original? Uh-uh. I don't think so. Not that we saw, but it was, uh. Yeah, it's retarded.
What do you call it? It was, uh. Netflix? Netflix? So sometimes you can't access options even if they give you them.
So, let's see. What else? Saw Lake Mungo. Is that any good? I've heard good things.
Lake Mungo was fantastic, and it made me mad. A lot of things make me mad. This is a movie up your alley, though. I think it just left Netflix instant. Lake Mungo's a semi-documentary about...
I hate documentaries. Well, if it. If I could get it out without being, like, shot down, it's just like having a fucking verbal missile command. Sit. Stay.
Let the grown-ups finish talking. So no one at this table can come. Don't guilt me. I'm driving and. I'm just worried for you.
I've got people calling... Don't steal my food. God damn it. Anyhow. Um.
Let's see. Where was I? Um. Lake Mungo. A family goes to a lake for a vacation, and the daughter doesn't come back in from the water.
They go back home, and haunted things start happening. Oh, I get yelled at. She doesn't get yelled at. She didn't shoot at me. Yeah, that's why you're such a good shot, because it was like right between the eyes.
I'm trying to get a thought out coherently in there. What? If you do it enough, you just pause and wait for it. I saw this documentary. I hate documentaries.
Thank you. Right. I just know when it's coming. It's like a cut and paste thing. Highly recommended, though.
One of the few scariest films out there. It was creepy. That was creepy. I don't know. If you've done anything with Lisa.
Anything geeky? Yeah. I teach children every day. That's pretty geeky. Pass.
Next. This should be epic. Zach? My turn? Sure.
Well, let's see. What have I done this week? Um.... I re-watched Star Trek The Motion Picture again. That was your own fault.
Well, no. I like that movie. I think it's not as bad as people make. It out to be. I just re-watched it.
It's been a while. It's just so. Again, it's like a sci-fi movie of the 70s. It's not based the way any of the rest of them are. No, no.
It's 2001, not Star Wars. Yeah, yeah. Except for they decided. Well, they wanted to do Star Wars, but I think we just slowed it down to the pace of 2001. Yeah, yeah.
Um. But I enjoyed it, again, and I always really like Shatner in that, since it was his 80th birthday. I'd celebrate that somehow. I brought this up when I watched it recently. Is it just me or is Spock kind of a jerk in that whole movie?
Oh, yeah, he really is. What is that about? It's like out of the blue. It's like he wasn't a jerk on the show. He's not a jerk in the rest of the series.
Well, he went and did the colonar, which apparently is Vulcan for makes you a jerk. For douchebag. Let's see, what else have I done this week? I don't know. Um.
I know I watched something. I don't know. What it was. Oh, I watched Terror Train. That was alright.
Just another one I was trying to prepare for Carter Hound. It was kind of standard. Not really anything special. I barely remember it. It's one of those I've watched a long time ago and just haven't revisited.
Other than that, the only thing I did was I watched season three of Most Haunted. Because I love me some scared British people. Wait for it. I hate British people. Thank you.
That's why I said British people. Except for our British listeners, who we love. NS Club 7. NS Club 7. Obviously.
That goes without saying. I pretty much like every British TV show. I've ever watched. I hate British people. I should refrain.
I should refrain from this. I hate British people. I hate their teeth. And I hate their comedy. In their defense, there's a lot of scary American teeth, by the way.
That's true. I'm joking, people. Jesus Christ. The teeth are just fine. I disagree.
I've not found a British comedy that I don't like. I just don't think I'm smart enough to get it. I like that reasoning. I hate British comedy. It's just like, woo!
It's not funny. I don't care. It's not funny. I'm sorry. I mentioned British people so you could say it.
I was getting my sandwich. It was deleted. I'm just waiting for your beats at this point. I was eating and I. Was paying attention and then you...
I was like, oh, I must hate something. And the last thing that barely settled through, I was like, ah. Well, see, you would like most haunted things. It's all British people running away from ghosts and screaming and stuff. I think it's hilarious.
I can't stand that one. Oh, Ghost Adventure, surely. The one with the douchey hair. Yeah, that's the guys that either want to beat up or have sex with a ghost. I'm unclear of which.
I saw it at a convention one time. Maybe both. I was like, ooh, I want to punch that guy in the face, and I know he hurt me. It's very upsetting to me that his name is also sad. There's another sad problem.
What? I'm Ghost Adventure. What? I'm Ghost Adventure. Bye-bye.
Bye-bye. On Ghost Adventure. Do you ever watch Ghost Adventure? No. I haven't avoided it for a bad guy.
You really should. You should watch it. Should I really or is. This one of those like... You should watch it because it's so bad.
If you like a guy who threatens ghosts. Yeah, he always like tight t-shirts and he's totally bald-faced. Like, oh, a ghost come out here and take you down. Take your back. Interesting.
It's always like a tight t-shirt with a tribal design on it or something. Yeah, exactly. A bedazzled, like, muscle t-shirt sounds amazing. This guy sounds fantastic. He is so cool.
It's like, I don't know, he comes from Vegas, but he looks like he came there by way of Jersey Shore. Okay, okay. Which is how a lot. Of folks get there. Jersey Shore and sparkly Vegas, yeah.
Neat. So do you want to share the most awesome moment of your life this morning? This morning? Yeah. I guess that would be meeting Mr.
Joe Bob Briggs. Who is pretty awesome. I'll claim that. He won't claim that. I know.
I figured you'd like that. So I figured I'd say it. Yeah, that was pretty amazing. Getting to meet him and Lloyd Kaufman and Graydon Clark all within like 30. Minutes was pretty mind-blowing.
That's overwhelming. Yeah, a little bit. It was kind of like, whoa, wait a minute. But yeah, that was pretty awesome. It was great to meet him.
It's kind of been a lifelong thing just about. So. My dad's living vicariously through me. He's already sent me like three emails about what Joe Bob was like. And you're taunting him.
I am. I am. Because I tried to get him to come up here to beat Joe Bob. He wouldn't do it. What is wrong with you?
I don't know. I don't know. I'm trying to get him to go to Cinema Wasteland now and meet Ginger Lynn. I don't think it's. Going to be that easy.
Do you know, like, the British being human? No, it's pretty good. I don't know. It could be into the regular American version. In American, it's not that good.
You haven't seen Sucker Punch, I'm assuming? No. Unless you ran out last night and saw it. No, I did not run out last night. If I was not here, I'd probably let it happen.
I really want to see it when I get back to town. I was looking forward to it. Well, then again, my New Year's resolution this year was to see more films in the theater. So far, it is almost April, and I've seen no films in the theater. It's hard to say.
Up until the last two weeks, I don't think I've seen. I think. Resident Evil was the last one we even saw. That's the last thing I saw until. The.
Last thing I really wanted to see was Black Swan. I think it comes out on DVD, too, this year. So it's probably bad. So I guess I'll just see it there. I finally had my big comeback, and what was it?
I went and saw Little Red Riding Hood. Oh. Awesome. Go see it. Sucker.
It's a little Twilight-y. I think I'd rather just see the way it's true. Have you not seen Alien? I've not, but I love the show and I still want to see it. Again, it's like bad fun for 20-30 minutes.
Then it just becomes, is this over yet? She was so nice though. She talked to me and it scared me. I love you. You're so pretty.
I did. Oh, my God. You're so pretty. I told her. I didn't notice any freckles.
She wouldn't. I punched her in the face if she didn't. You're so pretty. Oh, never mind. Oh, is that a freckle?
Never mind. I've got arm freckles. What happened to my face, though? I don't think. You just looked at your own face without a mirror.
That was awesome. That takes talent. How did you do that? I can't do it again. You missed it.
I collected it. You were even shot at that. It's not just like you looked down. You looked over your whole face. It was amazing.
That's a skill. I can't even look him out of the nose. Look at this guy. I don't think you're supposed to be able to, but that was fun. Did you see it?
I don't know if I can do it again. I think I broke it the first time. I don't think you're supposed to be able to. That's why. Could you demo what the hell sealing eyes is?
Okay, what are the other facial things that drive you? You can't do a potato head. I can't. My face doesn't go potato face. You don't have a face to do a potato head.
Who has a potato face? Demi Moore's kid. Oh, yeah. She doesn't have a potato head. What?
So what other besides gingers and. You always seem to be able to categorize people into their hate groups. Freckles. Some freckles are okay. Lucy Liu has cute freckles.
She's just cute. I don't know. I can't think of any specific. I have to look around for examples. Do you want to hate someone in this room?
I hate people with lip rings. Let's see. I really do. Lip rings? Lip rings.
I noticed that the other day. And I took mine out immediately. Yeah. Most facial piercings. You don't have your thingy in.
I lost it. How do you lose it? I took it out because my nose was really snotty and it fell. Out of my pocket. This is gross.
People get too creative with their eyebrows. I don't like that shit. Oh, I don't know. Oh, sorry. I didn't know you were like.
She's on a roll. I was... Never mind. I'm done now. I can pull up.
No, I'm good. I'm talking about creative eyebrows. I don't like. Creative facial hair. That's the worst.
Or. Scuttyness. Yeah. And swirliness. Men who pluck their eyebrows for a spare.
Stop it. I keep... I keep. I keep. I keep.
Jay from getting the unibrow. No, that's one thing. Sculpted man brows? That's Jersey Shore. See, I thought this was gone.
The other day I saw a guy with stuff shaved into his head. I was like, didn't they go out in like 91. I'm okay with that. You're so than I am. I don't know.
He just looked like a dwarf. He looked like he didn't match at all. I had like an hour long conversation with someone last night about how gross men without. Chest hair are. I hate chest hair.
I hate men who don't have chest hair. I hate chest hair. No offense if you like. He's got like five or six or something. He's Asian.
It's okay. Yeah, exactly. That's no big deal. But you're manly otherwise. But like, a guy who's not that manly, who doesn't really have any.
Chest hair, I'm pretty sure. You're more of a boy. Shh, he doesn't have to know. I mean, I have, it's like, what's worse? What you need is baby and some shag carpet.
A guy with no chest hair, or a guy who shaves his pubes. That's a close call. They're both pretty cool. Man, you know, we were actually talking about that, too. And that was a suggestion I made.
I was like, if you throw a shaved. Ball from Spirit Dammit. To your chest, that was like the thing you would have in your hand. But no, my dad. I've seen him with his shirt off.
Yeah. I never want to see that again. It looks like he's wearing. A sweater vest. He's like a bass man.
Like, even on the back? Yes. Even on the back. Like, we've worn a t-shirt at all. Curls.
Curls. On the back, too. On the back. You make up your mind. You said you wanted Harry Chess.
I said Harry Chess, not Harry Chess. That's a package deal. That's a package deal. That's why you get a hooker to shave your back for you. Well, I do, but not everybody's going to shave their back.
And he had a bath mat, which is odd for a Japanese guy. I'm glad you can't grow beer. It'd take a while. It'd be sporadic. It'd be sporadic.
We have main viewers. You won't let me go on my stuff either. They're stupid. I don't like facial hair. I'm sorry.
Everybody knows that. Brian knows I don't like facial hair. Yeah, it's not like that's the first time I've heard this. I'm sorry. I hear it on a weekly basis.
I want a mustache, so I can use my mustache kit. You do have a lot of mustache kits. I do. For someone who does not have facial hair. I long for a mustache.
I'm not allowed to have one. You can buy them at the dollar store. I'm kind of like how people collect. Dog figurines because they can't have an actual dog. That's why I hang out with Richie, because Richie's really cute.
He's got a mustache like I do. Yeah. Anybody want a pickle? I'm not eating a pickle. What kind of pickle is it?
It's a dill pickle. Like good? Yeah. Yay, pickle. That's fine.
Thank you, Randy. You're very welcome. I like pickles. I'll bet it. Pickle-based happiness.

Thanks, folks. And once again, welcome back. We're here again with Joe Bob Riggs, and we just wanted to stop by. I know you guys have got a project going now where you're moving into producing movies, is it? Yep.
In the next year, we're going to be making ten horror films. These are all low-budget, kind of guerrilla filmmaking, but we're accepting script submissions. You know how the studios always say, don't send me... scripts unless they're submitted by an agent we'll screw that we'll read your script no matter how it comes in whether it comes in from an agent or from you directly and um we're um we're going to match the scripts with some young directors and we're going to make 10 movies in 10 movies and we're going to try to make 10 movies in 12 months so. That's really cool and uh it's good that you know just kind of leaving it out there for everybody so yeah it's uh Just wanted to get. The word out.
Any specifics? It's not even specific to horror? Well, no, we're primarily making horror films. We're making all exploitation genres, but primarily horror right now just because it makes financial sense for us and it's my favorite genre and a lot of people are writing material for that genre right now. But we're also going to... make action, martial arts, thrillers, possibly some youth comedy.
But primarily right now what we're interested in seeing. Is horror scripts. Cool. All right. You can send them, by the way, to scripts at joebobbriggs.com.
All right, that's what I was going to ask. So actually just email over a different file? Just email any kind of file to scripts at joebobbriggs.com, or if you want to send a, there are a few people who want to send hard copies. If so, just write to me at joebob at joebobbriggs.com, and I'll tell you where to send the hard copy. All right, sounds good.
Anything else you need to spread the word on? That's it. All right, we will help spread the word. Thank you again. Shit the bed!
Well, howdy, folks! Come on in! Well, from the looks of them fancy britches and sassy little hairdos, y'all ain't from around here. Are ya? This is Sid Hagan.
You're fucking around with Movie Meltdown. Why don't you just take your mama home some chicken, and then I won't have to stuff my boot all up in your ass. All right, we're here with Andrew Robinson. Let's see. Especially here, you're probably getting a lot of horror and you've done a lot of action.
I wanted to go with one out of character, at least on a lot of the stuff. The Liberace TV movie. I loved doing Liberace. It's such a decent version of him. Is it one that you put a lot of time into researching him?
Oh, I did a lot of time researching him. I mean, mainly watching all of his TV shows, his specials, his movies, and really trying to get into the guy. Because when you're playing someone who's really existed and who was that out there, you really have to respect that. Maybe now it's different. I know the Soderbergh is doing a film with Michael Douglas, and maybe you can do sort of like a.
A reconstruction or whatever, or deconstruction. Yeah. But at that time, I really wanted to find the essence of that man. Especially somebody like him, who is such a persona anyway. I like the scenes of him at home and the stuff of him as a real person.
Yeah. Is it. I mean, it was just a few years after he died. Did you actually get to meet him before that? No.
Sadly, no. Because, you know, it was. It was amazing because I got to love him. You know, I mean, he really was a genuinely good man. Definitely.
You know, who was caught in that whole thing, that whole, you know, gay, you know, closeted, you know, bullshit of the 40s and the 50s, you know, being very much a man of that time. And then plus, you know, really, really deathly afraid of losing his audience if he did come out. Of the closet. Which at that time probably would have. Yeah, I mean, yeah, truly.
And it's phenomenal how talented he was. Like, to just go back and watch him play, yeah, he's amazing. Did you actually learn to play? No, no, my God. I learned how to fake it.
That's equally as important. I mean, I learned how to fake it so well that there are a couple of times when, you know, they tie me and my hands into the piano. They fool you when you're watching it? I did play it. Yeah?
Yeah. Welcome to a night of total terror. That's Mickey Mouse's penis. They don't look to be afraid. They look to be shocked.
Here's vagina! Did you see Miley Cyrus' globulous breasts? Night of the Living Podcast. I found more syrup on my pants. There's our adventure in fear.
There was, however, a guy using. An experience in shock. More shattering than your strangest nightmare. Penetration! Night of the Living Podcast.
Ass to mouth is fantastic. Holy shit! That just happened. What's that bad man doing to my donkey? A night of total terror.
I can't maintain this level of ridiculousness. They made a song. Night. of The Living Podcast. My mom listens to me now! We're here with Diane Franklin.
I guess initially, how did you get into acting? Well, I started when I was about 10 years old. And actually, I'm going to give you some information, which is kind of funny. I actually am writing a book about how I got into the business and doing it right now. I'm actually editing the book.
And it will be done probably in a couple of months. And then I think I'm going to announce it on Facebook. So if anyone's interested, they can just, you know, friend me. But it would be Diane Franklin and there's a picture of me from Better Off Dead on that particular site. But I'm going to be talking about all the movies and films I did in the 80s and how I started.
And how does one get to be a babe? Do you know what I mean? A babe of the 80s, you know? Yeah, it's a limited number. Not that many people fall into that category.
Exactly. I mean, their dream, how do I become a babe? So I'll be able to help them, guide them through the steps. What I was interested in, especially for you at that time, it's like you come off of Last American Virgin and. Better Off Dead.
You're a very idealized girl, you know? You're the perfect girl for these male characters. So it's like... Was that hard for you? Did it affect you, I guess, in your career?
I mean, you're still a young girl at that point, so did that affect. You in your relationships? Oh, in my career? Or your relationship? I guess both, really.
Funny, I don't know. I mean, I never thought about. It, actually. You know, I've always been a very up person, and I have a very... I have a lot of energy.
And whenever I've done acting roles, I had to either pull it down, you know, bring it down, or... or like bring it up like in Terror Vision you know sort of like a cartoony kind of thing but I'm really happy that the way my career turns out turned out I would say just from all the different genres that I've been able to touch on I mean it's fun doing a horror film and it's fun playing somebody evil and it's great playing somebody wholesome and cute and it's wonderful playing a siren you know there's so many aspects of acting that are you know I think what I would have to say is I'm a very creative person and That excites me. I love doing many different things. That's why I love the accents. And I think the hardest thing coming from Virgin and even maybe Amityville is that I didn't want to get sucked into an area in my acting where I wasn't going to be able to be creative in other ways than just being the sultry girl.
I wanted to move. On and just be able to experiment. Not that I wouldn't have... I didn't learn great things and have great experiences from that as well. I embraced everything.
But I really feel like for me as a creative person, I really, really enjoyed touching on all those different groups. So I like playing the ingenue. I like playing all the characters that I've done. So it's fun. But I guess it didn't throw off your personal life since you hadn't thought.
Of that before. Right. Oh. But then you mentioned Amityville, too. What was that shoot like going into that?
Well, that one I will get into more detail in my book because that's juicy. Yeah. That is a juicy shoot. But I'll say that. I don't regret doing it.
I mean, certainly I think that it was a really wonderful experience working with the actors, obviously. And I also just really, I liked doing horror. I thought, you know, it's so cool back, you know, behind the scenes to see how things are made. And it also had a different tone of the other films that I've done. You know, the feeling when you're working changes from film to film.
And I'm glad I had that experience. So, it was interesting. You know, I think with acting, I'm so fortunate to be able to have acted so much. And I think today with all the reality television, And I think that's what's difficult is now, you're hiring somebody who is who they are, and you can't go to them and say, ooh, what was it like to play this? Tell them what is it like to be you, you know?
And I think what's fun is that I feel I was very blessed to be able to be an actress at a time when there was a lot of acting work. And although there is a lot of acting work still, I'm hoping that actors still stay popular in the eyes of the public. And that they really are interested in the creative process and the acting aspect of creating characters. And also the transformations of actors. It's fascinating.
It's a massively different scene. than it was right. It is it is but I will say one thing you know there's a lot of actors out there and you as an actor you need to have a quality you need to be likable and people there has to be something that you have to say as an actor maybe like a little charisma something that as a performer you have something to say some people know how to say um uh Some people know how to say, you know, bravery. Some people know how to say, you know, strength domineering. I don't know, whatever. And when I'm saying that, it's just the way they express themselves.
And when you are an audience member, you look to them, you know, in your situation, you look to them and say, what is it that you have to say as an actor? It's not just the script. The script is absolutely essential. But the actor is to bring something to their roles. And I think that is... what I really enjoy about all the films, you know, that each role got me a chance to express different parts of myself and, you know, different parts of my personality, and I just, I really had a great time.
And then, I guess, how did you get into Bill and Ted? Oh, Bill and Ted, wow. I feel like Ted's was, like, I guess towards the end of the 80s. Like, I think it was 89. And the director saw me in, I think, some things...
Herrick. And he saw me, and I think he wanted me to... Oh, I know. He wanted me to come in and originally read for a different part. And so I get into details about that more in the book.
But it was. Really fun. I enjoyed working with the guys, too. And it was an interesting shoot, because we had to go to a lot of different places to shoot it. So, yeah, it was good.
I enjoyed it. That was another one with, you know, early on with Keanu. How was he at the time? I mean, he's definitely taken a different transformation as an actor as years have gone by. Yeah, Keanu was... to me always really nice um he was a little shy as i remember but i think um i felt so fortunate to be able to see him play that part yeah he was so funny and i he let out a part of him that um i don't think he's ever let out after not really he was trying to do more serious things so i felt fortunate that i got to work with him when he was you know playing that character yeah.
It's just And he and Alex Winter worked so well together. Absolutely. It's a shame they didn't work outside of those two movies. It's like they would have been a good team in other projects. Yeah, but, you know, and then they all wanted to go, I guess, their separate directions.
So it's a prized piece of Hades. Yeah, you captured that moment. You're all there. Yeah, exactly. And then, I guess, yeah, we're getting into different...
We kind of sit there every week and do movies that we like. So I guess, you know, is there anything that you've been watching lately or stuff that you favor as movies? Okay, I have. I mean, and I have to do this plug. I know this is kind of funny.
My daughter is a huge... flight of the concords fan i don't know if you know them oh yeah and so we've been following all their career and uh i know you know jimmy's doing men in black right now i'm gonna like three so i'm gonna plug that because i think it's gonna be wonderful um certainly dinner for schmucks he was incredible and he was wonderful i mean you can't he just makes you smile that guy is bringing joy to the world and brett is awesome i haven't seen his new films but i know he's gonna come out so i'd have just to say if you don't know about flight of the concords Check them out, whether it be their HBO show or their music or any of the films they've done. I really liked... Eagle vs.
Shark, Jermaine was in that, and it was a great film. I think it's a New Zealand film. Yeah. But, you know, I think it's wonderful to have people in the world who make people laugh, you know? And that, I think, is just so important.
So check those guys out. Definitely. And then did you, I don't know, what else you wanted to pass on? Oh. Adventures of Lass, was that something?
Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes. Okay, so people have asked me if I'm acting now, and I actually am acting now, but I have been acting in my daughter's films. She's a filmmaker. She actually won an award when she was 12 for her first movie in 2008 called The Adventures of Glass. And we have, she's done sequels since then, and now she did The Adventures of Glass 2 and the third one.
And the third one now I have at about 10 film festivals. for her so that she can get some more credo on what she's doing. She is 14 now, but she is a gifted filmmaker and she is an incredible writer and director. She wants to direct. Her goal is to direct before she's 18. But professionally...
But she's in Mensa. She's in Stag. She's in After. I mean, she's like, she's already done. She has a lot of her background, but she can handle it.
And so I'm really trying to support her career as a filmmaker. And she is brilliant. Honestly, I would not be doing her films if they weren't funny. So Disadventures of Last is the first one. Well, they're all sort of.
They're parodies of Little House on the Prairie mixed with Malcolm in the Middle. They're like dysfunctional families in prairie time. Nice. And I play a woman from a place called Skur Ireland, which is a place that was discovered by the Irish, the English, and the Scottish, which obviously can't happen because they're kind of friendship. And they all, you know, didn't get along.
It's always really funny. So I talk like this and we're all eating potatoes. And there's this family... And I look very funny in the movie, and I play mom. So it's hysterical.
So you guys will hear about her, and her name is Olivia De Laurentiis. Nice family name. So you will hear about her in the future, I'm sure in the next couple of years. And if we win the film festival, she's already written a feature film, so we want to move forward and see if we can... move that forward and make that film maybe this summer so that's yeah my life is full of entertainment. Passing it on to the next generation.
Exactly and my son I have to say he does the music for the film and he's an incredible gifted guitarist so and songwriter so we're good and my husband's awesome too but we're just you know I'm just staying focused on the kids I love my husband okay I love you Ray okay so just sharing that all right and that's the scoop All right. Anything else you wanted to pass along? You said to friend you on Facebook. Was there any other? Oh, yes.
If you're interested in my book, then friend me on Facebook, Diane Franklin, and look for the picture of me from Better Off Dead that's black and white with the hat. That's the one that I'm just taking on everybody's request. French requests and then what I'll do is I will announce it on Facebook and we'll figure out where I'll be selling the book signing the book and opening but I just so appreciate you guys being interested in this 80s actress you know. You had some monumental movies so it's yeah thank. You very much I appreciate.

Riddles are answered in the movies. And now, on. With the show. What a peaceful world this world would be. Redheads not warheads.
Blondes not bombs. Ooh We're talking about. Brunettes, not fighter jets. Oh, it's got to be sweet 16s, not M16s. When will the government realize it's got to be punk and sexy ladies?
So let's see, where the hell are we? Four Seasons? Four Seasons. All right, so we are hanging out at the Four Seasons here in Indianapolis. Four Seasons.
Let's see. I thought it was a hotel, but apparently it's food. Only in larger cities. Here it's a restaurant. Hmm.
We also roped Jeffy in. Hello. If you've been around for a long, long time, you witnessed her on another show. Sort of. You didn't really hear anything, but she was there.
You'd think being around a microphone as much as she has her entire life, she would know how they work. Didn't seem to, no. I was thinking it'd be okay. Okay, go for it. No.
I don't think right now. Fine. Slack. She was fine until you started recording. She's been blabbering all day.
I'm talking. I'm joking. Grab that lip and I'm going to pull over this table. There's the Misty we know. We've been wondering who this bright and shiny person was that's been.
Hanging out with us all day. I wonder if we paid the register or if we paid... I think up there, because. If we have any stories we didn't tell, I thought something happened recently. Oh, you want to tell the creepy guy story?
No, I've already told that story like five times. Yes, they were creepy. Creepy and drunk. Hey, I didn't eat your napkin. You were sitting on it.
I didn't eat my napkin. Did you eat turtle pancakes? Yeah, I made a turtle pancake. That was pretty sick. I like turtles.
I like turtles, too. Lisa Marie took a stalker picture of you. Yeah, at least you look like a codder. Tell the story about how you yelled at Lisa Marie. I didn't yell at her.
You scolded her. I just, I just, are you taking stalker pictures? Well, wait, tell the whole thing for me. I was standing there while you were talking to. Diane Franklin.
And I was just standing there, minding my own business, and I looked down, and there's Lisa Marie, and she's staring into her camera, and she's tilting it towards me. Like, right at my purse. Like, there's no other... She was close enough that there's nothing else she could possibly be pointing it at. And I started to take a picture, and she didn't see me at all.
I looked at her, and I was like, are you taking stalker pictures? And she was like... Yes. She kind of cowered down like I was yelling at her. I saw her doing it later, too.
After I said something, she was turning her camera towards other people. And I'm just like, okay. I guess you've been sitting at this table long enough. You've got to do something to entertain yourself. I told you.
I heard now she's also a photographer. So she's gone from being a model to also a photographer. So now my purse and watermelon are going to be art. Or my crotch. I can't tell.
She's going to have one of those shows. She did work with Mapplethorpe, so you know. She was nice to me when we first got there, but she just seemed kind of. I told you she gave me a weird look. I don't know what was up with that.
She seemed really sweet at first. I think she was just really tired of being there. Yeah, I think she was bored. That's why she gave me that look. She was getting groggy.
Yeah, it was really cold in there. Only at the end. Like, earlier in the day it was ridiculously hot when all those people were there. And then it's like they cranked up the A.C., everybody left to go get the Captain Spalding picture, and it was like 20 degrees again. Your girl was shivering over there.
That was exactly all. And she's like, oh, sweetie, you're so cold. And I'm like, I know, it was not weird. She was like, yeah, I know, and now it's freezing. I don't know if I made her.
She was so nice. Diane was very nice. I know I've seen her movies. I know she was in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. She's one of the princesses.
Yes. And she was so ridiculously nice and sweet. If it hadn't been for her, you wouldn't have got the interview because that. Guy was just like, no, we're done. She was like, no, we're good.
What can't we do? She was so sweet. She's awesome. And she was all up on you, too. I'm not going to.
Complain about that. All up on your business. I wouldn't go that far. I'm joking. She's a real nice lady.
I don't think her husband would appreciate it. He wouldn't either, I think. I don't think so. Don't ask, don't tell. That's right.
I did say, yeah, what happens at her house stays at her house. Don't ask, don't tell. You're already in a motel. I mean. Are you all going back to party?
Randy wasn't using that other bed. I mean, you know. And there was a pocket door. It's like two separate rooms. Lord Almighty.
Any other words of wisdom we need to send them off with? Don't let drunk guys convince you to take their picture because then they will not leave you alone for the rest. Of the day. And you can walk around a horror movie convention with weapons. real weapons, and nobody seems to notice. We only took out three people.
Nobody noticed. He was carrying around a mace all day. Jessie just looks confused. She did the puppy dog head tilt. Hmm?
Well, no, I was thinking about the guy in Memphis. Oh, the guy with the machetes? Yeah. I don't remember. In Memphis, we were walking out of the hotel room, and there was a guy sharpening his three machetes with a grinder.
I have no idea. He had one for each of us. He was going to kill us. You were asking. I want to thank Randy for being awesome.
Yes, Randy, you are awesome. Thank you again. I almost called him Rondy. Rondy. Rondy.
Thank you, Rondy. And thank you to all the other people we met today, or we met. Like that one guy who I didn't remember that I met before. I introduced myself again. I feel bad.
I had no idea who he was. You did that with a lot of people, so anybody who's already met her, just go along with it. Her brain doesn't remember that much stuff. And Fozzie. Hi, Fozzie.
Hey, how's it going? And middle Mikey. I once made up a song. About Randy, but I can't. Remember the words.
Uh-oh. I'm just letting you know. I don't have it prepared. I'll get it. And then give it to Jessie, and she will do a full-on performance.
Give me something to do. Yay! Randy seems so. Is it a theme song or like a devotional? It's like, Randy, you're so, so, I don't know.
Dandy? Dandy. I don't know if he wants that song. When it comes to tools, you are handy. It's exactly like that.
You're as sweet as candy. Oh, Randy. Randy. Oh, whoa. Oh, God.
I mean. What else was with Randy? I don't know. Randy, Candy, Dandy. Sandy.
When you go to the beach, it sure is Sandy. This is why you guys aren't in charge of writing songs. I once saw a movie that had Jessica Dandy. Oh. My favorite thing was there was a guy I worked with who was convinced that he was a real good rapper.
And he was like, man, I could rap anything. I could rhyme. I got crazy rhymes. He's like, I rhyme any word. And I was like, I'll give you a word that you can't rhyme with.
And he was like, what? I was like, silver. Okay, maybe I can't rhyme with that, but give me something else. Orange. Man, why you got to pull out words?
I can't rhyme them. I thought you said you could rhyme any words. You were this master wordsmith. Man, why do you got to do that to me? Purple.
Purple. Circle. That's a song? Yeah. Circle?
Maple circle. Wow. That's a country song. Yeah. It's on the.
Country station all the time. How's it go? I don't know. Dang me. Dang me.
That's why you don't listen to these songs. Tree. Oh, what'd you eat for me? Yeah, when Andrew was putting my shelf together, his foot was on my Roger Miller record. And I was screaming, like.
Get your foot off my Roger Miller record! Oh my god! I freaked out. It was sweet. But still, it was made for circle.
Oh, yeah. Those are the red and white. They're purple. Yeah. I got it now that you said it.
Yeah. Yeah, how's that for your wrap-up? That makes you want to wrap it up right about now. That's pure gold. That's silver.
Now we're on with that. Do you want to thank that tall girl for not showing us her under area? Which one? The hot tall girl? No, the normal tall girl.
Oh, normal tall girl? The slutty outfit? Yeah. We did not see her under business this time. This time.
No under carriage. No. She's really tall, and she likes to wear really short, short skirts, and she. Likes to bend over. And sometimes she likes to wear underpants.
Not always, but sometimes. But are you sure sometimes she does? She's worn them for a while. Yeah, but I heard last time she didn't. By the end of the night, she was not wearing them.
And that one tall girl was really pretty. You're really pretty. Yeah, would you like to award her the, what was the title we gave her? Babe of the Convention? Yeah, Babe of the Convention.
We don't know her name, but you know somebody who knows her. I'll see if I can find out her name, and then we can, if you want to pass it. On to her. I'll make her a sash. I'll bedazzle a sash for her.
How about a crown? Would you give her a crown? I have a heterosexual girl crush on her. And I will make her a five-pound spiked scepter. That's awesome.
With two big people. Zombie-killing scepters. That's what more of these award shows need. Miss America. Screw the singing and dancing. dancing nonsense.
I want to see her kill about six zombies and then give her speech on how she would change the world by killing more zombies. Now I'm cold. She was gorgeous. She was. And tall.
But not in a weird way. In a good way. And she was nice. And yeah, that was probably her best selling point. She actually seemed very cool and nice.
She talked to us. Which most girls they're not. Yeah, and she had sense and didn't have sense enough to not talk to us. I was in my nice phase at that point. I was very chit-chatty today, which is strange.
Yeah, we don't know what the hell happened to Misty this time around. I was friendly to most people. Even the guy who thought I was robbing. Which I still say you are not a Robin. I've seen Robins.
I've known Robins. You are no Robin. Is that good or bad? It's kind of good, really. Do you look like a Robin?
Not really, no. According to the best, I sound or look like a Misty. I can't remember. What did George Romero say? I thought he said you sound like a Misty.
Which I was like, what does that mean? I don't know, but it's awesome. He said it with big glasses, and that made it awesome. Yeah. Old men in big glasses.
He was awesome. That's the deal with filming in big glasses. You sound like a Misty at home. Listeners, do I sound like a Misty at home? I think yes.
A resounding yes will come back. I sound awesome. That sounds like Misty to me. I never changed from that one. I've just been nicer.
My awesomeness has not been challenged. Or diminished. I was just nicer to people today than normal. Don't get used to it. Yeah, do not get used to it.
It ain't a new thing. It's just a passing trend. It's a trial. It's because my butt touched Sean Patrick Flannery. And I've been seeing Sean Patrick Flannery all day.
Yeah, she kind of is. Every few minutes, she'll just start dancing around and be like, I touched Sean Patrick Flannery with my butt. That was a recent addition because she started looking up close on the photo. She's zooming in to see what parts of them touched. So I wanted my face to touch his, but I was.
Afraid it would stink. I told Jesse, I'm like, what if it's like silly putty? What if I put like a newsprint on it? Yeah, we were trying to decide. She was like, he's probably like a Ken doll.
I'm like, no. With complete assurance, no. He's not like a Ken doll. No. No, no.
There's a few things I know in this world, but no. This is one of them. He's naked in powder. That was a long time ago. Things might have changed.
Kindles are not anatomically correct. Okay, but that's not what I was talking about. Well, that's what she was talking about. Well, that was not specified. He can at least mold it into an expression.
And he did one side. When you went up there, he went. Oh, you're missing the visual. I see you did a recreation of the smile. It's like I had a stroke.
Yeah, kind of. You got a stroke face. They're going to call 911. Stop. I laugh while it hurts.
I love you, sir. I love you, too. We need to get on the road. We probably should. Do you need more coffee or anything?
No, it's decaf. Oh. That doesn't work at all. Yeah, we still got a two-hour drive. 17-hour drive to go.
Yeah, that's what he told Clay. She's like, believe him, too. He was like, 17 hours. She's like, oh, really? He's like, no, it's two.
Shut up. I can't help it. She's cool. I had to mess with her. Yeah.
Emily's awesome. I had to mess with her. I remember that she's a really fun Cincinnati girl. Did you wrap this up already? I guess.
We're heading out onto the road. Heading home. Goodbye. Goodbye. Bye-bye.
I waved. She waved. She's not hitting the road. She doesn't know where to go. She's got a few minutes to drive.
You've got to stay here. I drive around circles. You do? I wouldn't doubt it. For two hours.
Yes. Why not? Good times. That's true. Until another boy comes in.
I don't think it'd be hard to look. Just go to the bar of the hotel room. That's where Han was last time. I know. Maybe he'll start rapping.
I doubt it. I doubt it. Handlers will let him go to the bar. Maybe he'll start breakdancing like he's Michael. He'll break out the Dream Little Dream dance.
Oh, God. Not the dance. No. He didn't have handlers. That's why we went wherever we wanted to.
He had his mom. Yeah, he had his mom. But still, that's, you know. Mom did not keep a good enough leash on that boy. He was a handful, but I loved him.
I just pictured that we were both friends today. I said we were some people. That's true. You had a running, we were up to what, at least four? No, there was three at one time.
Like the handler, some lady that was with him, and the guy that we were standing there talking to at the same time. I'm not another solo person came up at some point. Maybe they did. I don't know. There's at least four or five.
No derogatory. You can tell it's good with Corey Haynes, ex-handler guy. He got excited. But they should know better than to... give us some sort of derogatory comment. We were carrying a mace around half the day.
They should know better than to fuck with us. Oh. Alright. Otherwise, that about does it. We will return next...
What do we say? Sometime. Same geek time, same geek channel. There you go. Later.
Later. Good evening, gentlemen. We've got a great night in store for you. I see a lot of new faces out there, as well as some familiar ones. So I'm not going to yammer on too long.
I want you all to sit back, enjoy the service, the scenery, but most of all, enjoy the show. All right. It ain't no big thing to wait for the bell to ring. It ain't no big thing. It's all of the best.
