One million kilowatts of power. Provide more cooling in the containment chamber. Two years to James. Yeah. We'll be back.

Audrey, when they close the road, they put up big signs, like this one. What's up, and welcome to Movie Meltdown. I'm Brian. I am Misty. I'm Jay.

So we're back here in the car, moving right along. Hippers. Heading back home to be hopefully not destroyed by a nuclear blast. Cool. Cool.

Yeah, that would suck. We were discussing that earlier. That's all right. I don't live in Louisville. I live in New Albany, so you're screwed.

You still would have been taken out in the. Aftermath? In the return of the living dead blast, I'm sure we were. Taken that out. Yeah.

But at least it would have finally gotten rid of our neighbor's house. There you go. Yeah. So, Misty, you're probably not hungry right now because earlier you had a cookie and. Oh my good God, Bill Moseley gave me a cookie.

And I eated it. I eated it all up. And it was a, what was it? Pecan Sandy. Pecan Sandy.

I don't like pecan Sandy. But you know what? If Bill Moseley offers you a cookie, you don't hunt it down unless you're Jay. Yeah. Yeah, I poop on everybody's parade.

You do. I just didn't know what it was. I turned around, I was like, ah, what is this crazy person? Oh, it is a crazy person. It's Phil Mosley.

What's he offering me? Oh, cookies. I like cookies. No, dude, seriously. Then I was all over some cookie.

I just turned around and I was like, ah, it's just somebody with cookies. Oh, I'm Sandy. Sorry. I saw the cookie train coming. I saw him.

I saw him because he gave them to the people in front of us first. And I'm like, he best be fucking sharing them cookies. He don't be giving somebody's cookies. Don't give me no cookies. Pretty sure I asked for pecan seeds.

I have no idea what you've been doing that reference from. It's Roger from American Cat. Oh, I've never seen that show. I actually like that show. I like that one a hell of a lot more than Family Guy.

I like Family Guy better. You didn't even watch it. I've seen like a half an episode and I gave up. He's awesome. But yeah, Bill Moseley gave me a cookie and I ate it.

Me too. And then we were trying to decide if you were a fetus baby. Which is why I didn't eat the cookie. I trust no one. Not even Bill Moseley?

Not even Bill Moseley. Well, I'd say especially Bill Moseley. I don't even talk about my parents. Then I was like, eh, it's Bill Moseley. I mean, that's a hell of a story to tell here.

Remember that one time I got roofied by Bill Moseley? My fear was that maybe somebody had given him the cookies and they had, you know, roofied the, you know, trying to get him all, you know. And he was having other people test them for him. Yeah, dude. We are the guinea pigs of Bill Moseley.

It's all right. Well, actually, I think that happened. I don't know about the roofie part, but I'm pretty sure that's what the other cookies probably were. Would you like to go into those? That cookie story?

The cookie basketball game? He had a whole lot of cookies action going on this weekend. He was tossing his cookies. Those cookies are muffin. I thought they were cookies.

They were just really thick cookies. They didn't spread out very much. I thought he said they were cookies. I don't know. They were in the air most of the time.

I didn't actually see. He had like a big Ziploc bag full of homemade cookies. Large jumbo size. Yeah. And then he was going to like.

He had already come over and, like, thrown some stuff away in our general area because we're trashy and we hang out by the trash. Well, the cool kids hang out. Well, obviously. Well, then, like, he came back the next time, and he stopped midway, and he started, like, oh, oh, here we go. Like, he was making his, like, here we go, going to launch it in the air.

So he starts, like, whipping the cookies back and forth, and then he lets go and... Misses. Totally misses. So then. He retrieves his cookies.

He takes it upon himself to then not only try again, but back up a little further. He did this four times. And he missed epically all four times. I like the one that was just, he was trying to bank it in. He was trying to hit the backboard, but then it just hit the wall and went straight down onto the floor.

You offered me the opportunity to try it, but I'm like, no, this is all you. I was just hoping he'd get across the room and just be like, we've been injured. taken out random passers-by in the process. Seriously when that one clusterfuck of people like stood directly in front of the garbage i'm like dude i want him to like bean somebody in the fucking head. It's like this is bill mosley he don't care he gonna take you out he will kill you with a cookie and once again a good story will be had for the rest of us anyway surviving me remember that time bill mosley killed a guy with a cookie. He likes to wear purple a lot too i've noticed he does seem to like that he's a very big fan of purple Just like every other time we see him, he's wearing a purple sweatshirt.

Not the same purple sweatshirt. Different purple sweatshirt. He's got a lot of purple sweatshirt. He looks good in purple, I guess. He does, yeah.

Most people don't, but Bill Moseley, he looks good in just about anything, especially for the French shirt. It was a very, yeah, if you watch the, what is it, House of the Thousand Corpses test footage or rehearsal footage, he's wearing what? I don't know, it could be like something Marcel Marceau would wear. It's like a French mime shirt or something. It's a very odd choice he makes.

We couldn't decide if it was sailor or mime. Either that or a gondola.... Operator? Operator, yeah. Driver?

Pusher. Pusher, yeah. Pusher. Pusher, you gotta take this gondola ride. I got your gondola right here.

You're gonna like it. Hooray to all the pecan sandies. Coochie, coochie, coochie. Rock with the teapots of love. Let me touch your cookies.

Let me eat your cookies. Rock with the teapots of love. Let me touch your cookies. Let me eat your cookies now. We have just seen rushes direct from Hollywood of pictures being released in the coming weeks.

And we are proud to announce that this theater will soon bring you the greatest array of pictures ever to reach our screen. You'll see the finest stars in exciting performances. You'll thrill to the suspense, comedy, romance, and drama of world-famous stories. Here's a glimpse of a few of them coming to this theater soon. It's Party Time!

Rock and roll will never die. At least not this Halloween. I've heard of raising spirits from the dead by incantations, right? Yes. I did that by playing the record backwards.

You're the man. The man is you. Sammy Kerr. He's a rock and roll nightmare. I am a big fan of yours.

I've got all your records. Shut up! This message, it's meant for me. Sammy Kerr. His fans won't let him die.

He won't let them live. You should be loyal to your hero. Make it turn on you. Shut it off! Shut it off!

I bet we've been together for a million years. But you know what? That's what it looks like. But my friend Darlene from Orlando saw the picture and put. A big capital F on it.

Skippy! I was like, okay, that's not funny, you know. I've grown to cope myself. No, I've grown. to anyone. Come on, let's start this.

You're missing the goal. Well, that's a good entryway. Has it haunted you at this point? I've grown to cope. I say that as a joke, but it's true.

It's something that's. Brought me a great deal of goodness. That would be Mark Price, the actual name. I think Ben Stiller actually said my character was Erwin Skippy Handelman played by Mark Skippy Price. Coincidentally.

That's good. You should work that in. This is for him? Okay. This is for one of the guys from Judas Priest.

Yes. Rick Rowans, of. Course, you've heard of him? Yes. Of course.

Okay. Awesome. Thank you. I should pay you. I'll give you a commission when I do my gig there.

Get out of here, man. We're going to set up a gig in Akron, Ohio. Am I on? Oh, yeah. With the guy from Judas Priest at his tap house bar.

Perfect. You may want to interview me after you're done with him because this is a hero. Because he was 17. I was 17. This guy inspired me that it's okay to be different because I went to a high school with all jocks.

In the movie, he was me. I got picked on and bullied around. And he relates to the movie, Trick or Treat, so much. But on Family Ties, it was similar for a lot of people. I know you're into it the same way as the movie.

But a lot of people come up to me because of Skippy and they. Go, you know, I really was. More people really like Skippy than they are the lead characters in shows. If you think about it, the lead characters, everything always works out in the end. When does everything always work out in the end in real life?

Yeah, everybody's a Mallory. Nobody wants to be a Mallory. We're all scared. Come on. Well, that was one of the.

Tear it on the wall! Tearing it down! Oh, God! We're going to start tearing down posters, man! That's how we close.

We'll close on Sunday. We'll crank it. Well, that's one everybody still probably. I. Think a lot of people it catches off guard that you do stand-up, but in truth you were doing stand-up before you were ever acting, isn't it?

That's my little secret. I was on the Merv Griffin when I was 14. A little stand-up comedian. A little bit unusual. So, I guess, how did you get... interested in that were like specific comedians you were interested in that young.

Yeah definitely I was into the 80s comics that got huge they all became the biggest stars today but I knew them all before and I literally knew them as well as watched them do their act Jay Leno Jerry Seinfeld name a guy that's huge today Tim Allen Kevin James I worked with all these guys Dane Cook Jay Moore a lot of these guys opened for me not Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld because they were already huge comedians before they became TV stars but guys like Dane Cook and Jay Moore used to open for me very funny absolutely no i recognized he was going to be a big star right away first time i saw him everyone in boston knew it they used to call it dane envy. So that young what made you think you could go into stand-up was there something.

My father was a comedian so it was really easy for me to follow in his footsteps just like a young plumber might teach his son the trade And so I had a lot of long car rides where we'd listen back to his show and we'd analyze things and I'd watch his show backstage. And it was just a natural progression for me. I joined him. I used to join him when I was. Really little and do jokes and stuff, introduce him, like open for him a little, you know.

And you got on that show that we won't mention. But I was going to say... Everybody asks, and I guess this is Michael J. Fox. He's a jerk, right?

No, stop it. Well, it's the Tom F. Wilson. Have you heard him do his, because he does stand-up now, too. He does the song, right?

And he does, yeah, he does that. Like, everybody wants me to just tell, oh, God, I. Hated that guy. What is it like working with Michael J. Fox?

He's like, yeah, he's always like, how can you hate him? He's Michael J. Fox. So I thought you guys need to, like, do a bill together. I would love to.

He's one of my favorites. He's been doing it since before he was acting, too. And I remember him, actually. He was probably one of the hottest guys doing it back in the early 80s. And he had a tuba.

He would bring a tuba on stage. And he's still one of my favorite funny people. He's great. He's really cool. I guess getting into Trick or Treat, was that a specific move on your part to do something kind of very different from Irwin?

Honestly, I just got. And it wasn't that different. I just got the audition and... I wanted to make a movie really bad. I worked hard at it.

TV or? No, for the movie audition, you know, and I worked at it really hard. I actually put a monologue from the movie on cassette tape and dropped it off to the director, which is a ballsy move. You never know how that's going to work. It could work against you.

You could be like, what is this fucking idiot? But in this case, he was impressed. He liked it. He was like, all right, let's do this. I think I took the role away from Keanu Reeves.

I don't think the producers are very happy about that now. But these things happen. Yeah, what do you mean? Oops. They screwed up.

She's in a movie, right? She must be. Human Centipede? No? That's not the Human Centipede?

I think it's Henry St. John. Weird movie to be in, or to be known for. Infamous. Are you doing some sort of Human Centipede contest here?

I believe they are. How is that going to work? I don't know. If there's not stitching involved, it's not real. Well, I'm just going to let you wrap up.

You've got a lot of projects going. What did you want to tell people? Where to get a hold of you or what gifts you've got? Human Skippy Pete. Human Skippy Pete.

Dot com. We're going to make the longest set of feet of nerds. Oh, they're doing that here already. Okay. Yeah, done.

Sorry. But no, did you have any projects coming up you wanted to tell people about? That's right. I was producer this year for Showtime of green-collar comedy, an eco-friendly comedy show, the first of its kind. And I just did another thing for GE with Randy Kagan called Funny by Nature for the web.

So you can look for that. There's webisodes called Funny by Nature. It'll be out this summer. And over the years, I've done some stuff behind the scenes. Most people don't know that.

Game Show Network, E! TBS, created and produced shows. And I'm always trying to get the next one on. Definitely. Looking for a hit.

Sounds good. It's hard when family ties are so popular at such a young age to top it. It's called pre-career elation. It's still there. But I'm working on it.

You can overcome it. All right. Well, thank you for talking to us today. Love you guys. Thank you.

Cool. I like it, you like it. I like to rock. I like to rock. Popcorn freshly popped and buttered.

It's time for Sofa Theater. Since the birth of time, humanity has endeavored to restrain evil men in prisons. But since Kane fled the murder of his brother, evil men have fled the walls of punishment. So it doesn't matter if you're a badass motherfucker on the run because you think you're better than everyone else and somehow entitled to do what you gotta do. No.

Because you see, badass motherfuckers are never fast enough. In the end, they will all be accounted for. . . . Are you driving? Are you angry? You don't look angry.

No, I'm pretty. Cool right now. You call him collected? Alright. I got my stress ball.

You brought your stress ball just so he doesn't get angry. I love health bears. Alright, let's start. Alright, so we are. Back here in the car, and this seems fitting because since we're driving back and forth to and from the show, we thought we'd work in a movie this week, and it will be Drive Angry.

So, that is the sofa theater feature of the week. It is Drive Angry. I like to have it in the sofa theater if we're not on the sofa or in the theater. The sofa theater is ones that you watch outside of the theater in the comfort of your home. Didn't you watch this in your home?

No. I did. That's your line. I did. I totally made that up.

So once again, this is Sofa Theater Hits the Road for the review itself. But technically, I'm still calling it that. All right. So the year is 2011. The director, I want to say it more French-like.

I swear I heard him pronounce it, and he pronounced it pretty bland. Patrick, I think he said Lusser. I was trying to say Lussier. I was trying to give him credit and make him fancy and boring. I think he said Patrick.

I was saying Timothy Oliphant or Oliphant. And I was saying it wrong. It's Oliphant. It's not fun at all. No, not really.

So yeah, I think he's Patrick Lusser is how he said it. The plot according to IMDb. There's a plot to this? Oh, there's a plot. A vengeful father escapes from hell and chases after the men who killed his daughter and kidnapped his granddaughter.

They kind of Spoil it right there, because they don't tell you at the beginning that he's from hell. It kind of ruined the whole thing. So, spoiler alert. Yeah, spoiler alert. I thought he was just escaped from prison or something.

That's what I thought until, like, more than halfway through, and then they start dropping hints, and I'm like, holy shit, this is going somewhere I didn't even know it was going to go. I'll be damned. So, well, I mean, they do that little thing right at the very beginning, but there's a lot of it they don't totally go into until well into the movie. But, I don't know. Where would you like to begin?

Fucking hate nicholas cage he's a horrible actor but i think he's embraced his own cheesiness for this movie and he embraced how ridiculous he is because it's just like it's like a parody it's like somebody pretending to be nicholas cage and getting all of his retardedness right but it's him so it's like it's like him it's almost him doing a parody of himself but like i don't know if he's realizing he's doing a parody because it's just so fucking ridiculous. I don't mind nicholas cage you like nicholas i like nicholas He's hit and miss. Somebody's got to like him. I mean, he's one of those that I've said for years. It's like he can turn in 10 horrible, not just horrible, really bad performances.

And then just when you've written him off and you're just like, oh, that's it. He's useless. He comes back with a really good performance. And it's like you still find that like, oh, look, yeah, he is. An Oscar winning actor.

He really can do acting when he wants to. And then he goes back to doing just terrible, terrible stuff. I'm trying to get her to watch Valley Girl, because that's one of my favorite movies. That's a chick flick. It's my chick flick.

Dude, I like a lot of chick movies. I don't know why. You like more chick movies than I do. I know. I don't know what my problem is.

Well, that one's like 80s slash chick movies. It's heavy 80s. It's got Nicolas Cage, and he's kind of an early 80s punk, and he's got his V-shaped chest hair, and. You're awful interested in that V-shaped chest hair. Dude, I don't know how he gets a V-shaped chest hair.

It's like he fucking sculpted it or something. I don't have much chest hair. I don't have much chest hair because I'm a half Asian. I am thankful for that. I do not like chest hair.

I like just the way you are. Yeah. Okay. Oh, I don't know. When I was in high school, I wasn't cool because I didn't have chest hair.

You know? Now it's not cool. I'm sure that's one of the many reasons you weren't cool in high school. Oh, shut up! I'd come up with a whole list.

I'll get my pen and paper back out. Whatever. I mean, that's my thing. Having, you know, a couple weeks back, I did my whole take on another one that was sort of trying to be very exploitation-like. I talked about Bitch Slap.

And that one was, like, one that sort of, like, it had a lot of good elements. It definitely knew what it was trying to be, but something missed the mark. Like, this one. didn't really miss the mark like this one knows awesome it knows what it's trying to be and somehow delivers on all i mean even when it's like bad it knows that it's bad but it delivers it in a way that's just entertaining and like just ridiculous enough that you're totally buying into it and having fun with it but still ridiculous enough that you're like wait They didn't really do this in this movie, did they? Yeah. Yeah, okay, they did.

That's how me and Jay were watching. I'm like, oh, what? Yeah, they did. They did that. Yeah, look at that.

I mean, it was so over the top and ridiculous. I was leery at first by watching it because I really, really don't like Nicolas Cage, but I love me some Amber Heard. And I also love William Fincher. Is that a thing? Yeah.

Fincher? Fichtner? I don't know. Fichtner, I believe, is how they pronounced it in the real world. He was awesome.

He was one of the best parts of this entire movie. He played the... Accountant? I put a quotation here. The accountant.

His fucking character in this movie is just so fucking awesome. I love his character. He has the best lines in this movie. He's just the best character in this movie. He's the reason to watch this movie.

It's William Pickner or whatever his name is. I was shocked. I was like, hey, look, it's Grace's boyfriend. And Jay was like, what the hell are you talking about? It's Grace's boyfriend.

Yeah, who? I still don't know what you're talking about. Grace. Grace who? Grace Under Fire.

I never watched that show. I was like, hopefully not Will and Grace. No. Grace Under Fire. That's what I was like, I know you.

Didn't watch that, right? So what the hell are. You talking about? You're not talking about Grace Under Fire. I remember Grace Under Fire, but I kind of forgot.

I watch Will and Grace every once in a while. Will and Grace makes my head hurt. It's just so cheesy. It's cheesy, but it's got some enjoyment. It's so sitcom-y.

It just chews on the sitcom level. I like the... What's her name? Because she was such a bitch. Oh, Debra Metz, do you know?

No, what's her name? Megan Mullally? Yeah, Megan Mullally. I actually did like... That was the only saving grace.

Do you have an accent for her? Huh? No, I don't. I'm sorry. But anyway, back to Drive Angry.

I love William Fichtner. I loved everything about this movie, which is shocking because I fucking. It's Nick Cage, and he's driving fucking Nicholas Cage, and he's driving fucking angry. He is. He's fucking mad.

He's pissed off, and he's driving muscle cars. Driving a Charger for most of it. Yeah. Amber Heard stole from her boyfriend. Yeah, yeah.

But, I mean. She was making paint. Oh, well, yeah. It's a great movie. It's like muscle cars just fall out of the sky, and he just happens across all of them.

It's not like real life where, you know, you're like. come across a Hyundai, you know, and you're like, ah, I'm driving angry in a Hyundai. Because I know you can't drive angry in a Hyundai. I mean, you could, but you really, you're. Driving a Hyundai. But I mean, a Charger?

You're like, holy shit, motherfucker's driving angrily in a Charger. Get the fuck out of his way. This is a damn Charger. Fucking A. That's what I thought was funny.

It was like, it was almost like, this is the guy version of girls changing clothes. girls like love to change clothes and they got their fancy outfits and like oh i want to be seen in my other fancy outfit this was like three times in this movie he changes to a different car granted one of them's really fast but i mean he goes you know oh i've done that one for a while i want another fancy car i want a cool muscle car uh let's do we have a chevelle somebody come on oh. Yeah they broke one of his cars they broke. Several of them yeah oh geez what's going on Drive angry. Yeah. But yeah, it's pretty much just him trying to kill Bella's dad the entire movie.

Well, that's what I was thinking when I saw that. I was like... Bella and Twilight? Yeah, Bella. Team Mustache Man?

Yes. That was her. That was Team Mustache Man? Yes. Oh, really?

Yeah. See, that's the thing. He was a swell guy. I didn't think of that because I kind of... I kind of watched the first one, but I blocked it out.

I still haven't watched the last two. I didn't recognize the mustache. It's Billy Burke. It's Billy Burke. But he's still the dad in Red Riding Hood.

I didn't see that. Yeah, I know. You guys didn't see it, but that's the thing. He's the dad in that, too. So I'm just sitting there the whole time going, isn't he dad?

He's always dad. He's Bella's dad, for God's sake. He's Red's dad. But yeah it's pretty much nicholas cage trying to kill bella's dad because bella's dad kidnapped his granddaughter. Grandbaby yeah the baby the whole plot's kind of confusing and yet at the same time you don't give a rat like that part of it they go so far into like trying to explain some of the other more mystical stuff but some of the basics i'm just like Well, he's a crazy, crazy cult guy.

He stole the baby of Nicolas Cage's daughter. After he killed her. In the cult. Yeah, and then he killed her because she, you know. I won't say it because I'll spoil some parts of it and then you'll realize.

Are you trying to spoil it or are you something else? No, no, I'm just saying. I'll leave it with other people to figure that out. We already spoiled the main part. We can throw out the double spoiler alert for the end if we need to.

Because that's my thing. I kind of have like, okay, during this, where was Nicolas Cage? I don't know. Oh, he was in jail. Was he?

Yeah. He was in jail for a while. He was in jail for a while. I mean, yeah. No, the whole time she was growing up, he was in jail.

So where does he. Come from immediately at the beginning of the movie to take care of all this business? Hell. How did he get to hell? He died.

He died. When was this? I forgot to try. That's what I'm saying. This is all sort of like, they gloss over that, which I'm kind of like, that's a basic thing.

And then after two minutes, I was like, I don't care. Blow up another car or something. Yeah. But to me, that's kind of a big thing that they should have brought up at the beginning, the fact that he was... I mean, granted, they were trying to play it off a little bit, I guess, and get you midway into the plot before they go into the full-on mystical, spiritual, however you want to look at some of the other crazy stuff.

That shit totally caught me off guard. When I saw the trailer, I didn't expect some big old mystical, oh, he's from hell, go on, kill this guy. I didn't expect any of that. It's like, hey, you're driving angry. I didn't know it was going to be something like big old, he got out of hell.

I didn't expect any of that when I first started watching it. I didn't even realize that that was the whole thing until, like, halfway through the movie. I'm like, he did. Well, that was mine. Like, yeah, I was going to say that, too.

I was like, the advertising, in a way, like, missed that opportunity. Like, on the one hand, I could almost see them, like, Going, oh, regular audiences, you know, general audiences are going to be, like, scared off by this weird mystical thing. Fucking devil worshippers. They freak me the fuck out. Messing with powers they ought not to.

Turns my shit white. No, that's real. UFOs, Bigfoot, ghosts, that's bullshit. Devils and demons. Once you open those doors, you just can't close them.

But you know that, don't you? The other thing I thought it might be too close to Hell Rider is what they were trying to avoid. The what? Ghost Rider? Yeah, Ghost Rider.

Yeah, that's what I kind of said, too. I was like, wasn't he just in a movie where he came back from hell? Yeah, and sort of that same thing. It's like, I'm a badass from hell and I'm riding around instead of on a bike in a car. But yeah, he kind of sucked in Ghost Rider.

And that's the thing. Ghost Rider's terrible. I mean, it's written terrible. He's bad in it. So it's like...

He was in Ghost Writer. No, that was Ewan McGregor. Yeah. Yeah. Because, other than that, yeah, those ads made it just look like an action movie.

Like a normal... Like a revenge movie. Yeah, a normal, like... It was 3D. It's Nicolas Cage driving around pissed, and he's gonna blow some shit up and kill people, and he's driving.

In some cool cars. It's Amber Heard, and she's hot, you know? That's what it all looked like. But yeah, like, right off the bat, they get this, you know, shot of hell, and I'm just like, oh, okay. It was like, we're taking a very different turn.

Immediately, it's like stuff that I didn't even know you were going to go into is like Where you're setting up the story. Yeah, and what's crazy is all the crazy cult guys are all, like, southern guys, you know? What's up with that? You just wanted to break your accent back out. No, no, I just want to know because, I mean, I guess because nobody's afraid of northern cult guys because, you know, I mean, who's afraid of a cult guy from Jersey.

You know? Well, there's other reasons to be more freaked out by Jersey. Massachusetts or something like that. I can't say that. I can't say that right.

Massachusetts. Massachusetts. Yeah, and nobody from California is really going to be killing you because they're just... I don't know. They're pretty crazy in California.

Eh, you know. I'm not too concerned about that. I don't know if Jersey is the best example, though, because I saw the situation on TV the other day. That dude is scary. For different reasons.

Yeah, I know, but he's too busy, like, frosting his hair and lifting weights. That's his cult. It's going to be, okay, everybody let's frost our hair. And lift weights and look at ourselves in the mirror. You know, it's not like, hey, we're going to, you know, we're going to bring back the devil and, you know, shit like that.

I don't know. Don't fill up babies for the situation. No, I guess because the South is so... I guess because it's kind of. It's kind of so rooted in religion and there's, you know, the...

Southern, you know, shit like that. You can definitely work in that crazy snake handling kind of plot line. Yeah, yeah, I guess you're right. Snake handling. I'm watching it, and I'm just like, wow.

And it's a shame, because we all watched it at home. But I'm like, this is so 3D. I didn't want to pay to see it in the movie, in the theater, because it's fucking ridiculously overpriced. I'm like, oh. So it's like 2D.

Yeah. It probably took a lot of fun out of it. Probably. Because so many of the gimmicks, I mean, it was just so much stuff flying at the screen. I had to guess.

I had to pretend. I was sitting there throwing stuff at him. I'm going to whip this at your head. Now you'll get the full experience. That entire hurt.

Well, it was the big explosion. You had to have the finale. The flames and everything. Me with a lighter. Good times.

Waving that lighter. So, yeah, there was a lot of stuff flying at the screen and them flipping things at the screen and shooting bullets into your face. That was awesome. In a way, it looks really cheesy, but maybe that's just because we're watching the 2D down version, and the graphics maybe looked better in 3D, but yeah, some of that stuff I was just like, oh, wow, special effects. I bet it looked just as cheesy in 3D.

Probably, actually. But, like, even the gore, like, the hand, right off the bat, you get this bloody hand action. And I'm just like, that looked cartoony as hell. But you know everybody in the theater was like, yes! You know?

That's what they were saying. Like, it gets, like, a laugh reaction in everybody. Not a, oh, gore, oh, I'm horrified. They were just, like, laughing every time that happened. And, like, they thought that was awesome.

So I'm just like, again, they know what movie they're making here. So you can kind of get on board with it. kind of movie where you have chicks running around naked all the time. Something about the. Oh, that sex scene. Let's think about that sex scene for a minute.

Okay. It reminded me of, like, what was that scene in Shoot Em Up? Oh, yeah. He's having sex with that girl while he's having a shootout at the same time. That shit's just insane.

He's having sex with this girl at the same time people are trying to kill him. Yeah, there's just bullets flying everywhere. He's still having sex with this girl while he's... Yeah. Yeah, it was fucking awesome.

And, of course, she doesn't realize until. Afterwards There's dead bodies laying there. Because their sex is so great. I can't imagine sex with Nicolas Cage being all that great. Let's not imagine it.

But yeah, she's like fawning over him. Oh my god, gorgeous, you're so beautiful. And I'm just like, dude, are you looking at Nicolas Cage? Who are you talking to? He's drunk again.

Are you seeing his crazy hair this movie out? It's different, but it's still crazy. His hair was something. It was a big old greasy bag. Ah, she's the chick that all the guys go home with or everybody else is laughing because they're like, ha ha ha, looks like she's got another one.

Well, that was this, I mean, it's, yeah, Patrick, our director, just seems to like doing entire scenes of chicks naked. But no Amber Heard naked. Well, she's Amber Heard. She doesn't have to do that. She's too awesome for that.

She is pretty awesome. She is pretty damn awesome. But yeah, I mean, it's like this one, I mean, You remember, I mean, this is the same director who did My Bloody Valentine 3D. Love that movie. Yeah, you remember.

Running through the parking lot scene. Running around 3D naked. In the heels. In the heels. Oh, she wasn't completely naked.

She had her heels on. Running through the parking lot, giggling all about. So, once again, we had those, not once, but twice in this movie. You've got the girl at the beginning that she comes in and is screwing around with her boyfriend. She's, like, bitch slapping out on the street.

Actually, John, she just decks the hell out of her. Amber in this movie does not fight like a girl. Amber beats people's ass. Amber never fights like a girl, dude. She always fights pretty tough.

She's a badass. So, yeah, she's beating this girl's ass out on the street, totally naked. And then, you know, we get to a few scenes later, we're in the middle of that sex scene. I'm like, Which, once again, I'm not complaining, but chick totally naked the entire scene. Nicolas Cage completely clothed.

Not complaining. Nobody wants to see that shit. Yeah, he had his shirt on, too, didn't he? He had his jacket on. Yeah.

His sunglasses on. I had sunglasses. And smoking a cigar. Oh, shit. Because, you know, you don't want to be naked when you're about to get into a gunfight.

It's some sort of crazy... No one's prepared for being in a gunfight. Yeah, he had to plan ahead because he knew there was going to be a gun battle. Layden's almost stopped. It's just a graze.

Milton, those cops shot at us with no warning. They weren't trying to arrest us. They were trying to kill us. They were trying to kill you. But yeah, it's just so ridiculous beyond words.

Everything about this movie, I was just like shocked. I was just like, really? Wow. Yeah, there's a lot of just random, pointless violence that you're just on board for. I totally was.

I was like, oh my god, yay! Right off the bat, when he runs into the three, I think those guys are even billed as fuckers, the three fuckers in a truck, that he's just, like, brutally just taking them out, and you're already like, alright, good, we don't like them, you know, so... You've got that going on. But then, like, even the random people. Like, remember the chick in the RV that then, like, falls out at the end and just starts, like, firing the gun?

Like, the one in the business suit from the cult? Oh, yeah. This was nuts. But, I mean, then all of a sudden there's this new, like, rush of violence. And I was just like, oh.

Oh, that was awesome. All about gratuitous violence. The good thing about the film, I think, for us was that we didn't know what it was going to truly be about. And we weren't expecting much. I never expect much.

From a Nicolas Cage movie. Yeah, we were like, nah, this is going to suck and we're going to watch it and we're probably going to be like, eh, whatever. So you go into it having absolutely no expectations of it whatsoever and then we thoroughly enjoyed it. I got grid like a tart the whole time. Yeah, it's not that it's a specifically awesome movie as in like, oh, Nicolas Cage is a genius.

Or anything like that. It's just good. Oh, who knows? Dorky movie reviewer guy from New York Times. Whatever.

I think he actually does do a decent job for this kind of movie and for it being Nicolas Cage. He's just like a parody of himself. Kind of, yeah. It's almost like he realizes he's a joke and he's willing to make more of a joke out of it. A lot of his roles seem like that in the last ten years.

A lot of them. Seem like he's a joke and he ain't realizing it's a joke, but I think once he finally realized it and embraced it. He finally got the joke. Well, this is also after Kick-Ass, which he's awesome in Kick-Ass, but he, like, again, it's a joke the way that he treats that role sometimes. So it's like, I think he's getting to that point where he knows how cheesy he can be, and he's almost using it to his advantage when, at the right time, sometimes.

What'd you call me? What did you just call me? I called you fat fuck, and we had better leave it at that. Unless you prefer I call you dead fat fuck. What?

I'm looking for someone. Maybe 40 or so. Six one. Probably looked out of place. He was here earlier.

Traveling light. Likely on foot. Who are you? I'm the accountant. That supposed to mean something to me?

It will if I add you to the books. And if you don't tell me what I want to know. I don't know, it's one of those, like, definitely right off the bat, you can tell what kind of movie it is, because, like, as soon as he gets out of the car to go kill the guy, you get the, like, you get the big guitar riff that, like, you know, it's just, it's definitely, that's when I was just like, oh, yeah, they're making this kind of exploitation-y sort of movie. So, I don't know, it felt like one of those. It was beyond just, like, a normal action movie kind of score.

It's like, it definitely almost plays on the over-the-top cheesiness with just, like, the the crazy guitar score going on. Yeah it was probably ridiculous but it worked you know it seemed like everything about this movie worked if they had done anything differently it might have not worked as well but because it's like everything just pieced together so perfectly with its retardedness that it was just so ridiculous that I was just like yeah. That's why I almost do want to have to give them credit for I guess just the writer director team I mean they it's it's a very similar premise and with the actor I mean it could have been Ghost Rider yes I mean it's You have to give them credit for turning it around and making it this much fun when that one is such a, like, pain to sit there and watch.

But it took itself more seriously, though, didn't it? I never saw it, so I don't know. Yeah, and it's just such a weird. Well, that's... I mean, they're both a weird premise, but I don't know.

The way that they handle it in Ghost Rider just seems kind of awkward, where this one just kind of, like, doesn't. Bother with any of that. Like, it's just more explosions, more naked chicks, more. racing cars and like it doesn't yeah it's like it doesn't really like worry about most of that stuff it doesn't try to overdo too much of it it just seems like it's a it's like a movie that lives in the moment it's like he's gonna go screw this girl now now he's gonna go beat the hell out of this guy now Amber's gonna punch somebody in the face so I don't know it seems like it lives the movie like that and it works for some reason I don't know yeah it's fast paced it doesn't slow down at any point no It just hits you.

Bam, bam, bam, bam, bam. And then that's the end of the movie. And you're like, yeah, let's go drive angry. I wasn't, I was definitely entertained throughout the entire movie. There was never a point where I was like falling asleep or like, God, is this movie ever going to end?

This is one of the few movies where I'm like, you know, I could have used a little bit more of this movie. I could, I could watch more of this, you know? Maybe it's better because they're sort of structuring it off a better one. And that's the thing that maybe that it was one of those. I don't think I knew the full extent.

It's what you're saying of, of like the whole mystical side of it, but they even like totally out themselves as saying like a lot of it is the, the basic premise is based on high plains drifter, which is the Clint Eastwood movie that sort of, then once you know that you're like, well, yeah, a lot of this sort of ties in and a lot of what's going on is, is, you know, pretty basic and that's also how the like the people handle themselves like they were talking about how none of it is there are no good guys really like everybody's kind of horrible you're. All that one guy that was his buddy that he borrowed the car from he was pretty good. He was in the end in the end that you know he's he's sort of they sort of pass on the only good that's left in this movie that guy comes into play so yeah But for the most part, like, even our main characters, you know, Nicolas Cage isn't a good guy.

Amber, it's, like, pretty terrible. But at the same time, there's, like, she's got a good heart. So they sort of base, like, the heart of the movie around her. But her actions and behavior quite often are pretty bad. I question the very ending of the movie.

Should we go ahead and put a double spoiler alert on that? Double super secret spoiler. I guess he's dying again for the second time. He's going to give his baby that he spent this entire movie saving to Amber Heard's character. I'm like, I'd be pissed.

I'd be like, motherfucker, you're going to leave me with this goddamn baby. This ain't my baby. What? And he's just going to give her the end. But no, by the end of the movie, she's all like, I'm honored to watch your baby and raise it as my own, you know, kind of thing.

She's talking kind of like Ted there for a second. Huh? Never mind. Whoa, baby. I am honored.

I'm honored. Yeah, where is the Ted taking care of a baby movie? You think we would have had a. Nobody wants him. We would have had a bad Keanu's, I don't know how to take care of a baby movie.

Why didn't we get that? I'm not complaining, really. But seriously, I'm like... Yeah, I guess maybe she's had a change of heart or whatever, but she's not really made good decisions up until this point. She's not really been a good person.

She's hot and all. But she's got the other guy to help guide her. I think more than that, I think what it is is she's fucking strong. Like, she is a strong female character. And she'll be able to protect the baby, which he won't be able to do.

That's what he's, like, almost... And that's what they're saying. It's like, this is not only just, like, this... he comes out of hell to go save the baby. It's like, he comes out of hell to also find someone to care for this baby because now, you know, the mom's gone and even if he saves her, what the hell is going to happen? So it's almost like the quest along the way is to find Amber Heard.

Yeah. It's like to find someone to, to, you know, pass this baby on to make sure that it is taken care of. And you find somebody is like strong willed and, and physically able to kick anyone's ass in the room. And, She's fucking hardcore. She's hardcore.

So it's like, from that angle, I understand, especially his kind of character, being the way he is, he wouldn't want to hand her off to somebody super nice, mouthy little mom. It's like, he wants somebody that's going to kick somebody's ass. And she is. She certainly is that. And look good doing it, too.

And I'm pretty sure that bumper sticker on the back of the car is the same one she has on hers. What did it say? I break for pussy. Oh, yeah. She is classy, if nothing else.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure. So that was awesome. She is. Oh, what else? Should we talk about the eye?

The eye. His eye. Oh, yeah. That whole part of it. He got shot.

Oh, yeah. I know. That's fucked up. That was crazy. It's another one you don't necessarily see coming.

Yeah. I think it's when I finally realize that he's already dead. Yeah. It's when they shoot him and he gets back. How the fuck did he.

Get back up? What, do you have a glass eye? No, he's got a fucking hole in his head. What the fuck? That's when I finally clicked on it.

I guess I'm slow on the uptake. I was like, oh, he's fucking dead already. That's why I thought, okay, I got it. I didn't put too much thought into the whole beginning with the hell scene and everything, I guess. I just thought maybe it's going to be a hell.

It's going to be a hellish good time. But yeah, I didn't put that much thought into it, I guess. I didn't realize it until. He did get shot in the gut before that, too. But still, you can, you know, get shot.

It takes a couple days to bleed to death that way. Exactly. If you got shot in the fucking head, in the eye socket, in orbital regions. And then, like, he toted it around. It was like that for, like, 20 minutes in the middle of the movie, where he's got a messed up eye, and then she's got, like, it covered up, and then eventually it sort of crow fixes itself.

That was the other one I was thinking it had a similar tie to this coming back to avenge the wrongs, you know, from... the nether regions yeah i got a very crow vibe off of it too certainly a very different tone overall but. Just kind of the basic basic goings-on i have to put more thought into it you know what the guy's name was it was john milton yeah do you know what john milton no nobody wrote paradise lost which was satan getting expelled. From heaven and how hell was formed and all that stuff and the book I just bought remember I did research yeah well I didn't read it me neither but I know things but apparently I know it's got pictures so it's okay though but yeah John Milton wrote Paradise Lost which is you know about Satan getting expelled and all that stuff so that's kind of why I don't know again.

They're kind of stealing from better projects to put together this silly action movie which makes it a better project in the end I think it's like. The connection with the name and everything I don't think I realized it at the time but I later looked into it because I'm a geek so whatever Why. Do we have two dead Colorado troopers within our great state of Oklahoma? And how did these. Gentlemen come to be on the wrong end of a disagreement?

The guests in this room, John Milton, I take it he is not among the departed? No, sir. We got a live one. Want roadblocks, Sarge? All over the state, you know the drill.

You got your boy Tom Adkins. Tom Adkins. Yes, he is. Yeah. He was a police officer.

Yeah. What was the movie that we were bitching about the towel? Or the blanket? Oh, the Halloween 3? Halloween 3?

Oh, yeah, yeah, okay, yeah. We were somewhere bitching, and I was somewhere, and I was like, you know that. I said something about drying off with a blanket. I said, they got monkey blankets, and you're like, it's a towel. And I was like, a towel, blanket, same thing.

And you're like, no, it's not! You don't dry off with a blanket unless you're that dumb bitch in Halloween. And I can't remember the name of the movie. I was like, that one dumb bitch in that one movie. Oh, I can't remember what it is!

Yeah, I was like, ooh, okay. I was bitching at Target, and I was walking through Target, and I was mad. Oh, I don't know. I think, I mean, it is. ridiculous and over the top and the way that you know that is i think the quote they said from nicholas cage when he read it was i've never read anything so. Crazy like when you've got nicholas cage saying i mean his world is nothing but all kinds of crazy so yeah that's how you know it's it's sort of and it lives up to that i'll tell you that right now yeah and and in a way that you're not expecting because they didn't bill it that way in the trailers and stuff definitely.

Recommend this movie i give it two thumbs up if i had more thumbs i would give it those thumbs too. Two extra severed thumbs up from people that get their hands blown. Off in this movie dude totally. All right. Well, I think that is quite a plug for Drive Angry.

See it? It's awesome. Big dumps, blows some fun. So if you're looking for that, hey, check it out. And Amber Heard's hot.

Yes, she is. All right. We will take a break and be back with the rest of the show. Between now and then, I'm going to fuck you up. Suckin' all my titties like you wanted me Callin' me all the time like Blondie Check out my Chrissy behind his spine all of the time Like.

Sex on the beaches What else is in the teachers of peaches? Huh, what? Sucking on my titties like you wanted me. Calling me all the time, not Bondi. Check out my Chrissy behind.

It's fine, I love the tongue. What else is in the teachers of peaches? Like sex on the beaches. What? Right.

What? What? Right. What's up? It's Brian again.

Sat in the hallway. For a while. I sat in the hallway for a good long while. I was napping there for a while. You totally fell asleep.

I was tired. I got up really early. Preparing for our kick-ass show. Corey got his picture taken. That's true.

By somebody who is apparently of international status. He was British, and I knew this because he had a British accent, and his phone had a British flag on it. What did he sound like? I don't know. Nope.

Damn it. I was hoping for more accents. He's blushing. He's embarrassed now. I can't do accent when you put me on a spot like that.

You can't force it. It just comes out. But yeah, what was his comment? It was. Unique?

Is it unique? I thought he said it was brilliant. I was going to say, let's make it extra British. Bloody brilliant. I don't think he said that, but you know, we'll British it up a little bit.

I thought he said it was unique because I said, yeah, I've never seen anybody else with a quarry that new. He didn't seem really, like, he kept saying, like, three or four times, he kept going, no, this is, you know, this is really great. Like, he was, like, really taken with it. I was like, wow, alright, this guy's all about some Corey. Corey's flattered.

He should be. I think I saw some other people ID it from behind. I did too. Yeah. Like, the people that were sitting next to us.

The ones that were also making fun of the girl who almost fell out of her top. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think that I did. And then when we were standing there, I was standing there with you, I heard the girl next to me with the face stuff. Yeah, I think that was the one I was...

Face stuff? She had like, she had like, it was made to look like scars across her mouth. Oh. Stitches. Oh, I don't know.

There were several of those girls there. I don't know why that was the big thing. I don't know. We had some costumes. We personally didn't have any costumes.

Well, we didn't because we're, well, we're professional, you know, we're busy. Yeah. Fat Ash was there again. Oh, I don't remember if we went into him from the last. I thought we did.

I'm sure we did. I thought we did on the way home or something. We probably did. It sounds like our harsh comment. That was the funniest thing I think I've ever said.

It made me laugh so hard. And then I saw him standing in line and I was like. Yeah, it was pretty awesome. Hopefully he doesn't listen in case you do. It's not you, it's the other guy.

Yeah, it's that other Ash. Duh. It doesn't, yeah, really at those shows you don't have to narrow it down. There's all kinds of Ash. Dude, I've scored so much Ash.

Sweet, sweet. Lips. The taste of you tonight. Don't be shy. We'd like to hear from you.

I guess, how. Did you. Initially get into this, I guess you had sort of a different upbringing than a lot of actors. Was it Germany you were born? Yep, I was born in Frankfurt, Germany.

Long time ago. And then since my dad was from Poland, he spoke a lot of languages. So he got this job with an insurance company and they moved us to Morocco, to Casablanca. It was awesome. And then Maracaibo, Venezuela.

And then I went to high school in Brussels. Belgium all throughout my whole childhood I always was in the school plays and everything but I never thought it was something you could do for a living so I went to college in Briarcliff College and my roommate happened to be from Manhattan so on the weekends I would come in with her and it was then being in America finally that I realized oh people act and they actually get jobs so that summer my parents moved to Istanbul Turkey I was left alone in the city with my friend Lorraine and I happened to walk by the actor's studio didn't know anything about it but There was a sign posted in there, we'll exchange acting classes for running the spotlight during our summer production.

So I applied, got the job, ran the spotlight on Joanna Miles and Scott Glenn on the Seagull production. And there started sort of my initiation into hanging out with actors. And then one of the people that came to see the show, his name was Joshua White. His sister was an actress. He had seen me. met me asked me out we started dating and then he said I'll introduce you to my sister's agent Lester Lewis I met them they loved me they sent me out and the first week I got like three commercials so that's how it started.

It all comes into play are you still fluent in the other languages Yes. I speak Spanish really well since I was 8 to 14, so six years in Venezuela. So it just never left me. And French, I can understand it and write it and speak it, but I wouldn't say I'm fluent. And in college, I was a Russian major, but I kind of totally lost that.

And then I guess crossing over, how did you get involved with Gary? Involved with Gary Busey? Uh, Cary. Oh, Cary. I thought you said Gary Busey.

I'm like, I didn't get involved with Gary Busey. Digging up some real stories. I knew him. Okay. Um, well, Cary, I had, uh, like I said, I was living in New York and I had my first boyfriend.

Then I met a musician, Stephen Souls. We got married, but then ended up getting divorced. And I decided that Broadway, off Broadway, I, it wasn't really my scene. I couldn't, I didn't really want to drink. I didn't stay up late.

I was always tired at night. So, Everyone said, well, you'd be good for the movies. You have to, like, get up at 5. So I was like, okay, I'm going to go to L.A., and I did. And within two weeks of getting there, my agent sent me up for the joint casting session that George Lucas and Brian De Palma had.

George casting Star Wars, obviously, Brian, Carrie. And when I walked in, after waiting, like, a couple hours with all the other teenagers in town, he said to George, I'm going to put her on my list, and George went, fine, so. I had three more subsequent auditions and a screen test and then ended up... I tested for actually the part that Nancy Allen got. So John Travolta and I were studying for our screen test, which we did together, but Nancy got that part.

But Brian liked me so much, he sort of expanded the role of Norma because in the script she only had that opening scene with the volleyball game where I hit her on the head with my hat, which I did, and that's what he used to keep me in the rest of the movie. He liked it so much. Wow. The title character is such a heavy role. Do you think at that point you could have pulled that off?

Could you have done the Sissy Spacer role at the time? Well, Sissy and I kind of had parallel careers. She had been in New York at the same time that I was. I knew Bobby Bloom, who was her boyfriend. He's the writer and singer of Montego Bay, which was a hit song, but he subsequently got killed when he moved out to L.A. with some terrible accident or whatever, but she was pursuing a singing songwriting career in New York not an acting career and she also moved down to LA about the same time I did so she had done a couple of other movies before I had and I just thought I didn't have that look and I just didn't have I don't think I really could have played Carrie you know and yes you know really to be totally honest no I didn't I didn't particularly have exactly what would have been required for that role.

I had the energy and the spunk that was more suited to Norma. Yeah, definitely. And it came to play a lot better in other roles. Right. I guess Halloween, how was it working with John Carpenter.

That early on? Well, that was great, and one of the great things about that casting audition was that John right away told me I had the part, which is highly unusual, so. And then he said, can you stay and help pick out your boyfriend? So there were three guys that were auditioning. I said, well, I like that guy.

And he had the glasses and everything. So that worked out good. I want to stand. Is it the totally line? Is that actually part of what got you that job?

You know what? I say that, and I recently reconnected with John Carpenter. I saw him at a Spooky Empire convention in Orlando, and he asked for my email, and then he emailed me and asked me to lunch. And at that lunch, he goes, you know, I just want to tell you, you didn't get the part because of the way you said totally. I said, really?

He said, no, you were just so damn cute. And you were perfect for the part of Linda. I said, it had nothing to do with the way you read totally. I said, oh, God, I'm totally confused all these years. So I stand corrected.

It was because I was so damn cute. Some legitimate reasons right there. And then I guess what was your death scene like in that one, shooting. Of the scene? The death scene?

Yeah. Well, the death scene was actually hysterical because I kept laughing. Nick Castle was the guy under the sheet at that point because everybody took turns, whoever was available and free at the moment when we were shooting a scene. And he just was so gentle and afraid to hurt me. And I just kept laughing because I was like, John, I can't die with his eyes.

He's not even pulling it on my neck. I can't even feel it. So I was like, Nick, please, can you just do it a little harder? And so finally, I think he, you know, he just did it not even that hard. And I had to totally pretend.

But I do remember also with my gasp. And if you look at the, you know, I mean, I don't know how many people watch it that closely, but I go, I mean, for the longest time, even when I'm out of frame, because I'm like, I'm not having a meow cut until, this is my swan song, and I'm going to have as much screen time as possible. I am dying. As I extended the, I refuse to die. Nice.

Were there any new projects you wanted to tell people about? Well, I'm trying to write my autobiography. It's going to be called The Totally Girl, I hope. I mean, everybody's writing a book now, but I guess I've always wanted to talk a lot about my childhood, which is very different than a lot of people's because I grew up around the world in all these foreign countries, and my family was really my core. I mean, I didn't have best friends.

I don't have a small hometown that I can go home to. I grew up on four different continents. you know, and I ended up playing the ultimate American teenager and I was the farthest thing from it. So I've always kind of thought that was kind of cool. And then just, you know, how I sort of fell into the acting business. So, but very hard to sit down every day and write about yourself.

It seems very indulgent. So that's the problem I'm having, but I am working on that. And then I go to conventions and a while back, I did meet a young fan in Chicago at the flashback weekend and his name's Matt Russell and He just really, you know, inspired, I inspired him to really get on the track of pursuing his dreams and goals, and he was in high school at the time. He went to Columbia College Film School, and then he came out to L.A. He's a screener now.

He reads scripts, and he's working on a short film called The Show that was a magazine short story, and he's developed, he adopted it into a screenplay, and he's paid for the rights to turn it into a short film, and so I'm going to be in that project, and That's on kickstarter.com, which is the newest place to go to invest in young filmmakers' projects. So I hope we get to do it, and I have a lot of faith in him. And my daughter is an aspiring musician. She's with her boyfriend in a group called Joe Nash for John and Ashley, and their CD is almost done, so I'm going to be cheerleading them. And I'm a lyricist as well.

My boyfriend and I write country songs. So we've got a lot going on because, I don't know, it's hard to get movie roles as... Mom. Yeah, that changed midway in. Yeah, no longer the ingenue.

Was that an adjustment, I guess? Well, it was a slow happening because, you know, once you have kids, you're adjusting anyway. You don't have as much. chance or time to do those go away for three months on location anymore so you got to turn down a lot of stuff but it was okay because my kids are great i love them and i wouldn't trade them for any movie project in the world so. And do you want to tell people to go to your website or. Well my website just usually you know says what i'm doing next it's not a big deal i don't sell anything on it but one of these days i will get a facebook the official pj souls facebook page there are three websites, three Facebook pages, but they're not me.

So everybody's always like, oh, you didn't write me back. I go, it's not me. But they're fun. They're nice to look at. I mean, it's like an honor for people to have made a Facebook page on my behalf.

But one of these days, you know, in the beginning it was my daughter saying, mom, you can't be on Facebook. It's not for, you know, old people. I'm like, thank you. But now it's like for everybody. So I can go there now.

Thank you very much for talking with me. Here we are, burning up in our cars. And in our hearts, better days. Sleeping late with a headache. Perfect weather, congregate.

The crowds are thinning out at the snack bar, folks, and there are still three minutes till showtime. You can easily make it for something that'll just hit the spot. How about it? Don't waste a second of refreshment time. Oh, hi, everybody.

It's me, Tommy Wiseau from The Room. And me, Nicholas Cage from Ghost Rider. And we're here to talk to you about something very important. Isn't that right, Nicholas? Oh, that's right.

Bill and Chris have been. Telling you about OTC Live for a long time. But there's no better time than now to join into the show live. That's right, Nick. Every Sunday night at 6 p.m.

Eastern Standard Time, you can see the show live. And how can you think of anything better to do on a Sunday night? Bill and Chris will talk about very exciting topics such as music, movies, and pretty much anything else that revolves around pop culture. Plus, they answer very important questions. Like, how is your sex life?

And other important questions such as, how to get burned. So check in every Sunday night at 6 p.m. at www.tv.outsidethecinema.com. It's part of your problem, you know. You haven't seen enough movies. All of life's riddles are answered in the movies.

And now, on with the show. Ride with the devil Hide with the law I got. No pistols Ain't got no sword. I got no army. Ain't got no land.

Ain't got nothing but the stone that's in my hand. Talk about the convention itself, the goings-ons, the. Lack of power, lack of AC, sweaty celebrities. Yeah. Well, one room in particular got mighty toasty, but the rest of them are actually pretty cool.

And then one of the, I was talking to one of the the actors there they said their reason that they told them was they can't turn the ac up in this room anymore it makes the other rooms too cold i'm like well fuck those guys turn it up anyway. Yeah it's kind of funny how the vendors had lights and they had ac but then the uh the actors got screwed out all that stuff. They didn't even have lights for a while. I never even figured out what was going on with the lights. They would just, like, every once in a while.

Go, boom. Well, I'm assuming that everybody was running the AC, and the AC was running so hard that it was really taxing. Their electrical system. But I've never seen it shut down lights like that. Like, I've seen it, like, throw a breaker.

Like, at your house, that's what it does. I don't know what it does on, like, industrial-sized hotels. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know why, but just kind of like... It's like some weird power surge.

Somebody put it on the dimmer switch all of a sudden, and then you're standing in the dark, and Bill Moseley really did throw a cookie in your hand or something. Very strange. We were in the Freddy Museum when that happened. I was afraid Freddy. Was going to come get me.

Maybe. There were, what, six, eight gloves in there at least. Dude, seriously. I'm not worried about them. Because they were badly welded.

Badly welded. It's going to break that blade off in your gut. Really? Yeah, whatever. I'm sorry, it's my job, so, you know.

Yeah, you know, they're criticizing the welds as we walk through. That Kruger, fucking hack. Whatever, amateur. Yeah, for a first-time convention, they did have, you know, quite a good run of people. Yeah.

I'm still kind of iffy on the setup. It was set up kind of weird. I've seen other ones that kind of fall into that category. It's just. I don't know.

It's just different ways to do it. I still don't know that there's a perfect system that I've seen. They're all very different, and they all have their own problems, and. Yeah, so that's... I don't know.

I don't know what you can do. Just cramming that many. People into one space is going to lead to a lot of problems. Well, it's leading to me to want to punch a bunch of people in their fucking faces. People just walk.

When there's other people behind you, just keep walking. Or people that walk... But they look behind them when they walk. Maybe they're talking on the phone. Yeah, so they're walking with no fucking clue as to where they're going.

I fucking snagged with this one guy. I'm like, watch where you're fucking going. Like, this is my first time at a show. I'm like, that's no fucking excuse. That's some common sense.

You've never walked before either? Yeah, they're like. Oh, wow. But, yeah, people there were, I mean, the people, I mean, the staff was nice. They were, you know, except for that one lady who wanted to kill us at the end of the show.

It's because we wouldn't get out. I know. But, I mean, the people there were kind of jackass-y, you know, like the, I don't want to say the fans. People like us, you know. Yeah.

They just, I don't know, they just, I don't know. Maybe because it's so hot outside, people were just kind of testy. I don't know. It was kind of cramped in some spots. I didn't really run into any jackass-y people.

Because I was walking in front of you. I was what I'm running into. Yeah, I guess. I don't know. Oh, there were times when I was going out walking around by myself.

I didn't run into anybody that was really jackass-y. So, you know. Everybody seemed okay. I mean, it's like any convention, really. I did almost get shoulder checked by Tom Sizemore.

He's crazy. He'd go off late. Seriously, I almost walked him close and he was like right next to me. So it's like his shirt touched me, which I don't like people's shirts touching me and creeped out. His shirt's like touched me and I'm just like.

Ah, but yeah. It's a famous shirt's late. Yeah, I guess it was okay then. Should we talk about any of our celebrity encounters or talk about celebrities that you didn't actually interview? It depends.

If we don't like him, sure, go for it. We can talk about Jake Busey for a second, because he was a lot more handsome in person than I had anticipated, and he was taller than I thought. And he was in the hot room, so he ended up taking his shirt off. He was just wearing a wife beater. Uh-huh.

Uh-huh. Yeah, yeah. Jake seems pretty cool, and we know him indirectly through somebody else. I even attempted to get him to sit down and talk about stuff this weekend, but I think... I wasn't sure if he would have the patience to sit there and do it.

The person that knows him kind of seconded that. They're like, yeah. I don't know if that'd be his thing. You're not a hot chick, so I don't think he could have got. Away with it.

That too. I think that's probably the problem there. You are no suicide girl? No. No, I am not.

I try. As much as I try. But, yeah, like I said, he was more handsome than I thought he would be. He looks a little bit taller. It seemed quite as scary as I would have thought.

I don't know. You're putting everything on his dad on the end. I am. He's not as crazy as I would think, knowing who his dad is. Not that I personally know his dad.

I just know that what I've seen on television, he looks batshit insane. Yes, he does. And I was afraid that any of that, you know, buckets of nuts fucking rolled on into Jake Ducey. But, no, I didn't have to talk to him. I just kind of walked by.

I didn't, like. converse to him at any point. I didn't try to get his autograph because, you know, I've maybe seen Jake Busey. In one movie ever. Maybe. Two.

One. You've seen Pregnars? Oh, I've seen three then because he was in Identity. Wasn't he? I can't even remember.

It's been so long since I've seen Identity. He was the guy who was tied up into the chair. He was the prisoner. Okay, yeah. Wasn't he?

It's been so long since I've seen Identity. I can't remember anything. And then he was in, wasn't he in, um, what was. The big box? Starship Troopers.

It's a great movie. I know. It's a great movie. Oh, Lord. We need to watch some Starship Troopers.

That was my mom and Rob's first movie that they watched together. Really? Yes. What an odd choice for a date movie, but all right. It seems like my kind of date movie.

Is there any other celebrities you want to make fun of? I don't know. I kept wanting to ask Tom Sizemore about the Ameris. Commercial, but. Yeah.

Yeah. I don't know if anybody ever watches, like, the commercials, but if anybody's familiar with him. Omneris. Omneris. Omneris to the nose.

Yeah. The guy, the little computer guy looks like Tom Sizemore. He did. Misty pointed this out. But then recently he's gotten to look less like Tom Sizemore.

So I'm wondering if Tom Sizemore realized that, hey, they ripped me off. And he called him and said, hey, you need to change this guy around because he looks exactly like me. Likeness rights. Yeah. You can sue him for that kind of stuff.

But I was going to ask him. I was very uncomfortable with Tom Sizemore's pants. It didn't make me uncomfortable. It was like... It just, it made me uncomfortable.

They weren't tall enough. They didn't fit him, yeah. Low rise. They were very, extremely low rise. They were like, they were like an inch of zipper between like the crotch and the button.

And then, he has no ass whatsoever. None whatsoever to speak of. There was no ass on Tom Sizemore. Not even a little. It was like... indented inwards it.

Just didn't fit his personality. Really are you saying he has a fat ass personality no it's. Not what I would have expected him to wear it kind of looked like a little too trendy I didn't I expected him to wear like good old American Levis or something you know. Yeah he was wearing like that and a chain wallet and a hot rod shirt and I was going to ask him if. He was into cars you know I don't know earlier he was wearing a Jimi Hendrix t-shirt so was he yeah everybody.

Kept changing because it was so hot in. That room yeah I thought he was wearing a Bob Dylan shirt. Oh, yeah. Later today, he was wearing a Hot Rod shirt. But earlier today, he was wearing a Bob Dylan shirt.

Was it Dylan? I can't remember. It was some 60s rock. I don't know. I think he stole most of the shirts from the vendors in the...

Damn, Tom Sizemore gave me a shirt. Okay. All right. Here you go. We already discussed Bill Moseley and his wicked awesomeness.

He gave me a cookie. That was Bob. I don't take cookies from just anybody. Especially pecan sandies. It actually wasn't bad.

I don't think I've ever actually had a pecan sandy before. Thank you, Bill Mosley. Every time you eat a pecan sandy, you're going to think of Bill Mosley. Chances are I'll never eat a pecan sandy again. I will.

I'm down with some pecans. Those were good. I'll go get some and think of Bill Mosley. Think of him chop-topping the top of his head. Scooping in and eating a pecan sandy with it.

I got a question. What was with the big boob green mannequin chick? I never hung around long enough to figure that out. I'm not exactly sure. They just roll a lot of weird stuff into conventions.

I guess. Fanboys can go, oh my god, she's got some big boobs. Get my picture with her. She won't move. She can't run away.

She can't run away. Yeah. She can't call security on me. The sad part is she still did. Do you want to share your story of the ranting celebrity?

Huh? The bathroom guy? No, I don't care. We can tell it randomly since we don't 100% know who it is, but we're pretty sure. Yeah.

You want to tell? Okay. He doesn't want to tell a story. Hey, I don't care. Apparently some celebrity was being a dick at the bathroom.

Yeah. I don't know. It was somebody that really, I didn't know who the fuck he was, so I'm not saying that's not a celebrity, but still. If you're going to yell at the poor girl, not really yell, but kind of bitch that poor girl that was, like, fucking cleaning the toilets, you know? Part of me wanted to get up and say, hey, fuckface, you.

Know, why don't you be nice for once before I shove my fist up your face? God, you know? Who the fuck are you? Whatever. She was apologizing.

She probably could have lost the job because he was kind of like, you know, I don't know. I just hate. People abusing, like, what little power they got, you know. And just trying to be jackasses over people. Especially people that work hard every day, you know.

Yeah, I mean, she's cleaning the bathroom for God's sake. Yeah. I think he was complaining about there was no toilet paper in there. Because she was replacing the fucking toilet paper. You kicked her out.

You kicked her out of the fucking bathroom. You know. Whatever. Whatever. Whatever.

Now it's time to drive angry. Drive angry. I got my squishy ball over here. It's a therapeutic squishy ball. A therapeutic squishy ball.

I can do that. One. I can door handle. There. I got it.

Are there any other celebrities that caught our attention in any way, positive or negative? Zoey Bell was awesome, but she disappeared too fast. She left. She was there. She was so cute.

She was. She was actually nice. I knocked her for a minute. And then she was out. She had to go catch a plane.

Plane the awesome girl. Yeah, pretty much. She is damn awesome. I always feel bad when we go to these conventions because there's always a lot of really great artwork. So I'm not really so poor.

It's just that I'm like. $ 20 artwork or $ 20 motorcycle part. Or food. Or food. Yeah, right now this week it's food. so I'm to the point it's like well that's awesome where the hell am I going to put. It well that's awesome I'll come back later and get it oh wait it's gone yeah that's usually how it goes I didn't buy anything at all.

There were some t-shirts I really wanted, but $ 14 for a t-shirt, and I have a shitload of t-shirts. That's pretty cheap, actually. I know, but I have, I think it was like $ 10 maybe, but I've got so many t-shirts, do I want to spend $ 14 for another t-shirt? I kind of do. Yeah, it's like a $ 10 t-shirt.

You can't pass a $ 10 t-shirt up. I mean, look at a fucking $ 10 t-shirt. That's like a dog that sings. You can't fucking pass it up. What?

What? What the fuck. Does that look for? Alright, with that, should we wrap things up? Yeah, I think so.

I think we've covered most of it. Yeah, otherwise, it. Was a well put together show. So yeah, go to daysofthedead.net and start planning for next time out. Anything else we need to pass along this week?

I was going to say $ 4 for steak fries is overpriced. But not for that big-ass slice of pizza. That was a. Big-ass piece of pizza, dude. Dude, it was the size of this one guy's head.

And he was trying to cram it all in at once. He was trying to cram that whole fucking slice of pizza in his fucking head, and he couldn't because it was as big as his head. Even folded, it was huge. Yeah. Like, he tried to make a funnel out of it and just kind of, like, slide it down his gut, but it just didn't work.

He was making a funnel for, like, the fries or something. I don't know. I don't know what that shit is. I don't know. I guess we'll have to fire up some...

Drive angry music. Yeah. Which I do like the, even the director, by the end of the movie, as it's wrapping up in that big scene there, even the director referred to it as a live-action meatloaf song. I was just like, yeah, yeah, kind of. Yeah, I think I was listening to it and it sounded like a meatloaf song to me.

Yeah. Well, I think it's a cover, actually. I mean, they do. I think that's why that was the tie-in on the final song. When I think of meatloaf, I think of, like, paradise by the dashboard light or i think a bad out of hell no not.

Really i don't do anything for love. Yeah yeah i remember i remember seeing the meat yeah like the album cover. I was singing for you the bad out of hell album like i saw it when i was like when i was in school i saw it like uh whatever fucking podunk record store that we had around the house I was like, oh, my. God, this is fucking awesome. There's, like, this bat, and he's riding his fucking motorcycle.

He's riding out of hell. This is awesome. I got home to listen to it, and I was like, this sucks. I wanted something hardcore. Like, I wanted, like...

Was it a lemon, and you wanted your money back? Yeah, I wanted, like, Testament or something. I wanted something fast. Two out of three ain't bad. So bad.

It's fucking awesome. All revved up and nowhere to go. Alright, we should get the hell out of here. So, fire up the Muzak for this week's movie, yeah. I'm hungry.

I want some more of Bill Moseley's cookies. But not the ones he was playing basketball with. Not the ones he was tossing. I do not want the cookies that Bill Moseley tossed. Alright, until otherwise, that's it.

We will return next week, same geek time, same geek feed, and thanks for listening. Bye. Bye. I'm still alive Must have been a miracle. It's been a hell of.

A ride Destination still unknown. It's a fact of life If you make one wrong move With a gun to. Your head You'd better walk the line Or you'll be left for. Dead I'm a runaway train On a broken track I'm the ticker on the bum That you can't. Turn back This time That's right I got away with it all And I'm still alive Let the end of the world Come tumbling down I'll be the last.

Man As long as hot blood runs through my veins, I'm still alive Lost. In the night, feeling so invisible Oh, a dead man walking the wire High above the devil's net that's made of fire And it's a long way down from the top of the world You better look around or you're gonna get burned I'm a. Runaway train on a broken track I'm the jitter on the. Bum that you can't. Turn back this time That's right I got away with it all and I'm still alive Let the end of the world come tumbling down I'll be the last man standing on the ground And as the dust clears, look in my eyes I'm still alive.

The darkest night is black enough to keep the morning. Light from shining. The highest water tall enough to keep the smallest man from climbing. The more that you resist the tide, the more it pulls you in, the. More you hang on for your life. on a broken track I'm a ticker on the thumb that.

You can't turn back this time That's. Right I got away with it all and I'm still alive I'm a runaway train on a broken track. I'm a ticker on the thumb that. You can't turn back this time That's right I got away with it all and I'm still alive Let the end of the world come tumbling down I'll be the last. Man I'm.

Still alive. I'm still alive. I'm still alive. Get it in there quicker for the next one. Skippy's got to pay his mortgage.
