We're in. Hello everyone, and welcome to another episode of Scary Stories. We tell. I am your host, Christashew, and I'm joined as always by my good friend and yours, my friend and yours Emma. Hello, I'm happy to be your friend.

Are you happy to be my friend? I'm your friend to the end, seeing the end, friend, Unless if you're calling me a liar, I would say no, I know, I know you're not calling me a liar. We've never even met in person. No, but I am still happy to be your friend. That's fair.

I'm also happy to be your friend. Oh, this is really wholesome. It's not gonna be all. It's not gonna be wholesome long. No, it's I really won't.

But yeah, because speaking of not being wholesome for long. On this episode of Scary Stories, we tell we're going back to our slash paranormal. Now we're gonna be talking about some some stories, maybe strange, maybe weird, maybe freaky, maybe something you don't expect. We're gonna be talking about it. And like we mentioned the last time we did this, if we read your story and you want us to take it down, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Yeah, we'll give you credit. We're giving everybody credit. We're just reading the stories and talking about it. But if you want us to take it down, please, by all means, do not hesitate to reach out on that note, Emma, I'm gonna let you go first. What do you got for me?

What do you got from the Strange and Bizarre Land of our slash paranormal the Internet's best repository for weird and strange things? So by user Jay Plumbo. Great us your name. By the way, it's really fun to say user handle wampa one. I mean, that's the half of the fun here.

It's just like, what is their hand on? You know, big fat assholes, Like yeah, yeah, of course I believe your story about ghosts. Are you slash big fat assholes? Ye? Anyway, User jay Plumbo rights titled escalation of activity.

Okay, intrigued already. So the house I've been living in since November has always had a very low intensity of unexplained happenings, doors closing upstairs, sounds of people moving around. None of it has ever concerned me because of how benign it's been. And I've always been and I've always been one to fear the living not the dead. Today was a bit differnt.

I was tidying up downstairs and heard a subtle thud in the office on the first floor. As every main character in a bad horror movie has a tendency to do, I went up to investigate. Walking into the office, placed perfectly in the middle of the chair was a can of Lilt, a fizzy drink. For those unaware, there's no drink storage in this house outside of the kitchen, and I've not had Lilt in years. It was certainly not in the room the previous night when I left the office, So I'm at a bit of a loss.

I've never had things appear before, and I'm not too sure how to feel about it. Like Zoons Gang, we have to investigate the case of the soda can on the chain. I mean, obviously, the only thing I can think of in a way to debunk this is somebody is in the house and left can there. That's the only out right, let's take that out in Well, if we're going to go the creepy route, I could be like a house squatter, like living in the wall. Oh that's real scary, right, Yeah, that's actually scared.

Is that scarier than ghosts. Let's talk. Let's let's break this down. Is a person sleeping in your house unbeknownst to you scarier than ghosts? Call the police serious potentially, Yeah, don't call ghostbusters, call the fucking police.

I mean there have been stories, speaking of Reddit, there have been stories on Reddit of people like I think there might be someone in my house and it's like nine ten times out of ten there isn't actually someone in there. But but what but it does happen. It does happen most of the Like, that's the thing. I think. It's like with anything else, like with ghosts or anything else.

Ten times out of ten it's not ghosts, but there is that one time where it is. And it's the scary part of not knowing if that one time is right now, or if that one time is something you're never going to experience. Not everybody wants to have a paranormal experience, right, I don't think you want to? Do you? No?

No, I might say, like surface level that, like you know, I I've never had one. I feel like I kind of need to, But at the same time, it's like it will scare the absolute pisside of me, and I don't I don't need that stress right now, right, I don't need the existential dread that comes with it, right And I'm I'm you know, I have had several kind of minor paranormal experiences since I've started this show, you know, and they've kind of again, I've talked about them. I haven't like talked about them at nauseum, but I've talked about them when they've happened, and yeah, you know, they're they're not that they're not pleasant, but they're not like some of the easiest things to talk about. And when I think about them, given that one of them happened, several of them have happened in the house I live in now, it's right best to not sit and think about them all the time.

But as someone who has had minor things happen to them, yeah, it's not necessarily like the most like oh great, Like I'm not you know what I mean, Like, yeah, I'm not scared about what happened because I don't feel any kind of malevolent intent behind it. But it's definitely not something that like I think most people would prefer to have happened to them. Does that make sense, Yeah, unless it's something that you're just very used to that you grew up around. I guess like Arthur. Yeah, like Arthur.

I mean, don't get me wrong with the co host on Strange Beliefs. Yes, I mean, don't get me wrong. I don't think he enjoyed any of his paranormal you know encounters. Most of them were pretty terrifying. It's a lot of people, right, they don't ask, you know, It's like Whitley Striebert.

It's like, I'm not asking for this to happen. It just keeps happening, Like what do you want me to do? Episode twenty five of Strange Beliefs was the episode title was, Guys, I think ghost are real because this story was a little too uncanny. And what we wound up doing after he told me this story is that I we we took a pause where I had like researched if somebody he had actually like died there or nearby in like a similar fashion, and I and I and I asked him, I like was like, okay, I found pictures of this person who had died, Um, can you describe to me what they looked like again? And then can you let me know, like is this who you saw?

Which if I could go back in time, I would have pulled up several pictures of like similar ish like right right and done which one like which which one like? Lineup style like uh always I love, That's why I love. I wish I had done this one thing that would have probably given me more evidence. I really, I honestly like I kicked myself for that if I wish I could have redid it. But the point is is that when I showed him the picture, he just like paused and he was like, am I think that is who I saw?

And that just gave me chills, And like, you know, I have no reason to think that my very good friend of over a decade would lie to me for any reason, and they had nothing. We really didn't have too much to gain from this from doing the podcast. It was. It was just a way for us to shoot the shit about creepy shit. So but yeah, anyway, that's episode twenty five.

If you guys are curious, I was a really cool story and pretty convincing to me. But how would you how would you rate finding the canad drink Canna soda in your office? I mean, so they're by themselves, right, they live alone, so by me, and I can only assume, right, Well, I would hope they're not surprised if there's a Canna soda on their seat and they have a significant other, how to just get here? Oh my god? Oh right, I have a wife who may give a shit about me and put things in my office for me to be nice.

You know, I take everything at face value. They live alone, This is weird. They're surprised by it? Did they say? Okay, here's the question, and maybe they answer it in the comments, because we know sometimes if the OP gets involved in the comments, some answers may come to light.

Well, there are no comments under this one. Never mind. I was curious because I wonder if they had a candidate soda in their house anyways, No, no, so they so they said, I have not had Lilt in years, which tells me that they did not purchase this brand of fizzy drink. Then you know, what hell of a story. It's got to be a hell of a story.

Then, like, Okay, if this happened to you, if this happened to you and you lived alone, and you are very good about locking your doors at night, and you're like at least ninety nine percent sure nobody's living in your walls and this drink that you have not had in a decade, can a surge or something like showed up in your office out of nowhere after you heard like a sound. Yeah, I don't genuinely don't know what I would say, Like I would be fucking terrified. I would be pretty fucking scared. Yeah, it's like that's scary, Like that's it's there's I don't think there's any question there that's scary. But then my my follow up question is can a ghost or a spirit of sorts manifest a can of soda?

The question like, because that's the it's a physical, physical thing, right, I've been watching a lot of Observation Duty. I don't know if you know that game. It's a game where you are basically scrolling through uh these like security cameras of like different locations in like some different rooms at a at a location, and you're supposed to it's almost like a yeah, no, no, it's like a find the Difference, almost like spot the difference, where like just random things will happen in the refer to as anomalies. So it's like if an object disappeared or if there's an extra object that wasn't supposed to be there, or if a door opened, or if the pattern on a like the whole point is like it's very difficult to find all of these little itty bitties.

So it's like it's a fun game to watch. I love playing along watching like I've been watching a lot of game grounds play. It's very entertaining. But so like, according to that logic, there could very well be extra objects that just show up, but that would be referred to in this context as an anomaly. Do we think that that's possible?

I mean, because like I'm sure we've all experienced like something feeling like it just goes missing, like in your house, like you could have sworn that you just saw it yesterday and it's just gone. Well, and that's you know, that's the question. It's like did it shift out of plane right? Because you brought that at the last time we did this where it's like, you know, vibrating at a different frequency. You know, I wonder if that's what it is.

I think I would be inclined to believe that. I was inclined to believe that because like over a ghost. Well, okay, so that's the thing, like this doesn't sound like ghosts thing, This doesn't sound like this neat this way, This doesn't sound like it needs to be a ghost. Does that make sense? Yeah, Like to me, if anything, I would say that maybe there's an alternate universe where you never stop drinking this drink and you left it on your chair and it just phased into this reality and in the other reality it's missing, right, And that's what I mean, Like I think, like you know, I think the way that I think could I don't know.

I think the way I think in this reality could be that a way a different, like the opposite of the way someone else in another reality thinks. And so therefore, yeah, like you said, if I hadn't in a while, maybe they had and somehow I don't know, Like you know, there's this whole thing about Bigfoot being an interdimensional being and Bigfoot walking, but Bigfoot walking in and out of our universe, and that explains how Bigfoot exists, but doesn't how people like, because people have had these kind of strange experiences with big footwear big Foot like seemingly shifts in and out of plane, and so like I wonder if I wonder how prevalent that is because like, that's kind of what we're talking about here, is like that being like can you can't if all the universes exist, are they all existing at the same time, which is everything all at once, everything everywhere, all at once.

I was gonna say, it's a great movie, right, But that's what that is, right, Yes, Yeah, that's exactly like the type of being able to reach into a separate reality then a close alternate reality, and being able to like cherry pick things, whether it's you know, uh, something like a learned thing or a tangible thing, being able to reach into, you know, an alternate reality. Great fucking movie. Highly recommend. So good. I haven't seen it yet.

Oh my god, it's so good. I don't know. I heard Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness was better. Oh I've heard the exact times. I'm kidding, I mean, but that's I mean, I didn't see it thing.

I mean that that movie talks about the same thing where it's it's about multiverses. Yeah, and like that verse is existing at the same time, and that's a medium. That's a medium for the story. The story is so much more than that. Well yeah, sure, I mean sure, but they're talking about this.

They're talking about multiverses and stuff, so that's why they're getting compared. But apparently like the only multi there's only like two multiverses or something, and one of them is like what if a stop like green meant stop? Correct. Yes, it's not very it's not very creative. Yes, so I'm good.

It's also highly desensitized for the masses. So I will say that my boyfriend saw both, cares about relatively cares about the franchise. Um, I do not saw both movies. I mean it don't who does anywhere? And he directly said to me, I have watched Everything Everywhere, all at once, five times, and I absolutely hated Multiverse amounts.

It was garbage. Not gonna say. I'm not gonna say it's good because it's not. I was being facetious. You definitely let me know if you do watch Everywhere everything, I will.

I want, I want all the ways. All the way is at the same point. I want to because I've heard it's really good. But it talks about multiverses, so I don't know. I mean, that's that could be what this is.

I mean, why not? How does a soda kid get in your office? Otherwise it's just a hatizing and on your chair, of all things, on your chair like that, Like it's not like it's on your lawn. No, it's not like it's well, it's not like it's on your desk, you know what I mean, like on your it's so weird, Like why very why on the chair. So I'm going to say, I'm gonna say, I'm gonna upload this one.

This is a good one. I mean, I don't know why there aren't any comments because it's so it's so simple. It could be any number of things, could it. I mean, like, could it be a ghost who got it from another person's house and brought it through an open window they don't mention windows, but through an open window onto their seat, and it's just a polter geist ghost. I mean, there you go.

I don't know. I just I don't think ghosts necessarily are capable of phasing a new object into reality. I think, like, if it was somewhere else in the house, potentially could there be a way to make it disappear from one location and reappear in another location, Or maybe it just like floats it over. I don't fucking know. But like, man, the multiverse theory makes more sense, or like alternate dimension or something, because like that that explains it.

But again, like there's I mean, there has been scientific information about the existence of them, of a multiverse and multiple universes. Now we have to call it the multiverse because we can't anymore, but there have been scientific information saying like it could exist. So look, it would be awfully boring if this was the only existence. Let's like not kid ourselves, right, Oh, and we know for a fact we are not the alpha timeline, do we? Oh?

Hell yeah, are you kidding? This timeline fucking sucks. Yeah, But just because this timeline sucks doesn't mean it's how the alpha timeline feel like. It's not. But here's the thing.

I think this timeline sucking is a perspective thing. But also what does it even mean to be an alpha timeline? I don't know. I mean, there have been so many, like there have been so many advancements, like socioeconomic technological advancements in our lifetime that like people one hundred years ago couldn't even fathom, and like people one hundred years ago before them couldn't fathom the things that were being discovered while they were alive. It's like really hard to gauge because everybody's kind of I think everybody's interpretation of reality is slowly coming undone.

I think everybody's interpretation of reality is getting amplified and changed by technology and other things. I think the base timeline is gone. There was a time before technology where everybody's existence was essentially the same. Yeah. Now it's like this, like you and I have like we we talked about we talked about this offline, but you and I have never met ever.

Our complete interactions have been through a technological medium that displays you to me as a two dimensional image. I've never met you. You've never seen me like in full profile before really anymore. I've seen pictures of you, as you've seen pictures of me. But like the way we interact is from essentially like our you know, like our chess up.

Yeah, He's like, you've never seen my foot? Yeah, I want to keep it that way right exactly. And every time I'm just like, Emma, can I see your foot? And you're like, no, stop asking, But it's but it's it's again. It's you know, it's a perception thing because people one hundred years ago couldn't perceive what we're doing here in their reality because there was no context for it.

And there are a lot of people that can't perceive this reality right now even as we're talking, because they don't have context for it, people who are older than us, who have never used this technology. I mean, it's trying to explain color to somebody who's been blind from birth, right like you. It's just intrinsically something you can't explain. And reality in your perception of reality is also something that's hard to explain because there are plenty of us who you have to use medication on a daily basis, either homeopathic or prescribed for illnesses or diagnoses or however you want to perceive it, and that can alter your reality as it is. So it's just it's hard to say, like this isn't the base timeline.

I don't know what the base timeline even is anymore, because some people are just some people operate in their own timeline, like away from you know what I mean, Like some people are so financially well off and wealthy that they don't even have to exist on the timeline that we're on, Like days and months and years are insignificant to them, unlike people like you and I who it's like every week is something, every day is something, every minute, you know, I mean it's I don't know, it's very hard because again, like multiple universes is a thing that's really popular now. But like I would contend that we kind of been dealing with it in a very strange, like boring way. But it's kind of the same thing, Like we're all living in a different reality.

Some of us have shared realities, but for the most part, a lot of us are living in a very very out there reality. Really out there man. You know. It's funny because this makes me want to have a whole episode on like the Mandela Effect. I you know, I would.

I do want to do an episode on it, because like it's a no, it's a popular thing, and I think we should, oh for sure, and I I loved looking into it. I don't know what else there is to say about it at this point, I thought, either, like, but I do want to talk about it because it's cool. Yeah, it's it's another one. It's like it's like simulation theory adjacent, right, Yeah, it's like somewhere between simulation and multiverse. I think deja yeah, shared experiences from an alternate dimension or so.

But I love how this entire philosophical conversation was, you know, all came from like a two paragraph post on Reddit about a Cannesota appearing on somebody's office. Right, It's that's that's and that's you know, that's the thing about this our slash and parit normal. That's the beauty of Reddit, right well, and that's the beauty of our slash Paranormal. It's like this is more of just it's like a box of those things that you set on the table, like supposedly this is a thing that you know, people who are much more astute than me, they have a box of note cards on the table and they're like a question. They're like conversation starters.

Oh yeah yeah, And like that's what our slash Paranormal is. Like, these episodes exist for us to talk about the things that these people are talking about. You know, it's not really about their experiences, because their experiences are even for the people reading them, a gateway for them to comment about their own shared experiences, because that's what Reddit is. It's really just crowdsourcing responses to your own personal experiences. For the most part, at least if you're interacting with the community in this way.

And there are a lot of these kinds of boards. Our slash Paranormal is not the only one. It's just one of the more popular ones. It's not the most one. There are some that are like get hundreds of thousands, millions comments and stuff.

I just think that the name of it is very, very eye catching. Yeah, our slash paranormal. It's a good amount of syllables. Yeah, Oh it's great. I like it.

So my story comes from eight months ago from not good reddit name, which I would disagree. That's a good reddit name. That's a very good reddit name. And their stories title is my dead neighbors saved me from being attacked and it's one point seven k karma, So damn yeah, all right, that's pretty probably just I think we just said the same thing in Unison. If you just have a shared experience, I think so.

So this just happened half an hour ago. I came back to my hometown for the holidays. It's a fairly rural area with woods and everything is peaceful. I love going to pick wild berries and I was doing just that when I encountered the first paranormal experience of my life. It happened in the backyard of my neighbor.

There are wild berry shrubs there. Here are a few details so that the story makes sense. I used to have an old man who lived alone as my neighbor, and he was a very kind person. He used to give us those berries as candied sweets. He passed away due to cardiac failure when I was in high school, and his house has been empty ever since.

I wanted to make those sweets for my family as a holiday comfort food, and thus went to his place now. As he passed a few years ago. There was a lot of undergrowth and wild grass in his yard, and everything was messy. I cleared some of the growth and made way to the shrubs, cleaning the place as much as I could, thinking about how clean he used to keep everything. All this time, I had a feeling that something was off and that I was being watched, but I brushed it off.

I was two minutes into picking when I heard my neighbor's voice. I was sure it was him saying I should be more careful and to pick up the rank immediately. It was if I was fainting. Everything was fast or slow. I can't really explain that.

But as soon as I picked up the rake, some homeless man tried to stab me with a knife. I used the sharp end of the rake to scare him off, and he kept shouting loudly. He ran off after I gathered myself. I had tears, but I couldn't shake off a smile I had. It was eerie, but I am unharmed.

I think I'm going to clean my neighbor's place. I owe him that much. Okay, okay, okay, back up, so let's go through. Let's go through events. So first things, first person likes picking berries.

Yeah, yes, okay. Second thing, second cool neighbor neighbor is dead. Yes okay. Here's neighbor's voice saying, hey, pick up the rake and then is then attacked. Yeah, how do you feel about this?

They're oddly undescriptive about everything that happened after they picked the rake up. I feel like they're so descriptive about everything else. And then they're just like, and then this old guy tried to stab me, and then I grabbed the rake and pushed it at him and he ran away, Like that's very Pucci from the Simpsons. Do you know what I mean, No, but well it's like, it's like and then it's like and then Pucci had to go to his home planet, and it's like and he just like levitates off the screen. It's I don't know how to it's fuck.

That just dates myself, old man. It's one of those things where it's like and then it and it's it's just like the abrupt disappearance of a character that is seen as comedic because of how poorly handled it is. And that's what this reminds me of, where it's just like and then I grabbed the rake and then I pushed it at the guy and then he ran away. It's like, well, you were so descriptive about the berries and all the other stuff, but not this like random hobo with a knife in the rural area that you supposedly live in. I would say, because that had just happened.

They were giving the background because they felt the background the story was necessary, and then they recalled the events that happened all at once, very quickly, because to them it probably did happen in a very short succession. Right, So I would say, it doesn't super surprise me. I feel like, if anything, if it were more descriptive. That would be weirder like if they were Like I heard the voice and I reached for the rake. It was rough in my hands.

I look up and the sun is in my eyes, and all of a sudden, a dark figure and it was a hobo and he was wearing a beanie Like. I don't know, I feel like that's interesting that we have different are the end that this same thing is sending two different indicators for each of us, Because if it were me, I feel like it all would have happened in like such a blur. I don't know what detail I would have been going off of adrenaline. How much detail do you pick up? I mean, I almost hit that elk last year, and I picked up a fair amount of detail.

Well, maybe we functioned differently. Well that's the thing that's I mean again, that fucking got him saying, motherfucker. Maybe function differently, dude, I mean that you're calm and collected in crises. I guess it sucks to be you. Yeah, I don't know.

I don't know if I'm calm and collected. I think I think my brain has like uncommon collected thoughts, but I think externally because you know that's the thing. Um, you know that's the question here because you could ascribe it to oh, paranormal, but like you know, yeah, like you heard a voice that said go pick the rake up. But there are also just people who have like a sixth sense about things and like you know, your body was just like just just grab the rake. Well, like how did you not hear the homeless guy coming up on you?

Like that's what I don't get. This guy is like a full tilt sprint. He just manifested into existence Like that's there are some weird things about the story where it's like there was just a hobo in this rural area all of a sudden, Like I just why was he attacking you? And you just had a rake and the rake was enough? Like what I feel like?

Okay, would it help if you replace the term hobo with bum? No? Okay because to me, I feel like because like hobo to me is very like uh like to me, when I think hobo, I think like a homeless person more so than I think of like a thug in a sense that I mean, you don't see a lot of just random homeless people in like rural areas. I would know area that's my point. And they said hobo.

They said hobo. So like I don't know, I don't know, you know, Like for me, I don't know, Like this is this one, you know, I it this kind of tracks with something we talked about before on the last episode. Instead of it being a family member, it's like this neighbor figure, right, and so instead of it being you know, oh, it's not their neighbor, you know, it's a family member, or oh it's this neighbor, this time it's like, okay, so they're doing the whole that expectation again, right of like of like a family member helping or seeing a family member or interacting with a family member. You know, it's very like spirit guiety to me, Like uh, Arthur told me like one time he was like walking at night.

It was like really dark, there were no lights. I've been to his apartment complex, so I now I have a better picture of what was actually happening. But apparently he was walking and he heard and felt I suppose his goddess urge him to like stop and like step to the right or turn to the right or something, and like so took out, you know, his flashlight and shine it and there's just like a skunk like right there. Um, okay, So I feel like it's almost similar in that sense, like being told like a watch out of sorts before understanding what's happening or why you would need to watch out, and like feeling that and experiencing that and then realizing what you needed to actually watch out for. And I asked him, like, was it actually like voice, Like did you actually tangibly hear a voice?

And he said yes, So, I mean I could potentially see it as some kind of you know, spirit guide that he took on, like like this neighbor took on, you know, becoming a spirit guide potentially, or you know, something along those lines. I'm not sure. I think the story and it of itself is a little out there for me as a whole. It's a little thematic, isn't it. But it's almost like lacking details and just like it's kind of just like and then and then and then and then and then.

I feel like I don't have enough to go off of the paranormal side of things. I feel like there needs to be more substance there. I'm going to give this one a down vote. Yeah, but I mean, if what happened, did actually happen, or like maybe you do just to have like a spirit guide watching out for you in that case, that's awesome. What if the whole ball wasn't real and it was like a negative spirit and it was a positive spirit and a negative spirit in acting with each other like duking it out, and you just happen to be caught in the middle.

I don't know. I mean, I'm trying to find another way to explain this without it just being like sounds kind of not on the it just sounds. I give your explanation a downvote. Damn, damn, damn, damn. I didn't like it.

Sorry, well, I can't say I didn't try. No, you did try. I mean, it's it's an effort. Give me an a forever. Now, give me a C forever.

I'll give you a C. Yeah, I would. I'll give you a C. Plus. I would downvote this one.

This one's not great. I like the idea of a neighbor, like that was the idea. That's the reason I liked it, because it was like, oh, the neighbor, and like that's kind of cute. Like, but then it's like when you finally get to the end of it, it's like, but man like, you're just kind of leaving some stuff out that needs to be there. Yeah.

No, the more you talk about it, the more I agree. Um. So I have a longer one for you. Go for it. Um this is by user little Katie underscore e who there may be a mimic in our house?

Okay, so they say not at all familiar with the supernatural. If this is indeed what we may be dealing with, which is which is the explanation that we're leaning towards. So this started when my boyfriend was over yesterday. He had picked me up from work and I went to shower. I was drawing off when he opened the door and handed me my underwear.

I told him that I appreciated the gesture, but I had underwear in the bathroom already. He also jokingly snapped at me with you freaking called me from downstairs to bring you these, You better take the woman, which is a little aggressive, but apparently it was a joke. I assumed he was joking, so I just took the panties from him and told him to go back downstairs. Didn't think much of it. Next thing that happened was a couple of hours later, my roommate was getting ready to leave for a date with one of her friends when I heard her calling me from the bedroom to help sip up her dress.

I trotted over to the bedroom to find nobody there. Not only that, when I saw her leaving the bathroom, she was wearing jeans and a tank top. Nothing that I had to zip. I told her that I heard a voice coming from the bedroom, and she looked very confused. She went in and looked around.

Her TV was off, her computer was off. There was nothing in the room. The next bit came around eleven PM. My boyfriend and I had been watching Netflix and I had a craving for ice cream, so we drove to go get ice cream. After ice cream, we sat and watched an acoustic show for about an hour and a half before heading home.

When we got home, we went to the bedroom and fell asleep watching TV. We woke up around seven am when he had to leave for work. My roommate was already up and made a joke that we must have really been going at it the way you were shrieking last night. We did not have sex the night in question. I didn't know what she was talking about When we were alone, we discussed what was happening.

I was initially the one to draw the strange conclusion based on what was happening, the underweard thing, the dressed thing, and the shrieking thing. She's a big believer in this kind of stuff, so she seemed open to the fact. The last bit of weirdness came when we were doing our evening meditation. Both Wickan and we could hear speaking from the hallway. It was between two people.

We broke centration and listened. I'm not dumb, so I considered it was an intruder. Then clear as day through the door we hear night y'all and a high pitched giggle. Both of those things are what my roommate does and says when she passes by my room and I'm with my boyfriend at night. We let some stage throughout the house while saying a prayer.

I'm not sure if that'll do any good. We also want to have the house tested for carbon monoxide and mold. And it's totally cool if you read this and don't buy into it, because I'm not like one hundred percent sure that I do either. Edit. No carbon monoxide detected in home relieved question mark.

As of right now, we haven't experienced any other phenomenon that we've taken note of, but we are still very much on high alert. And that's it. That's fucking terrifying. So what, Okay, several instances where so there's three people. There's this, there's the poster who I'm assuming is female, and her boyfriend.

Right, so those two and then this like other roommate I'm assuming also female, and basically like random intervals throughout like the span of like forty eight hours, I guess where they keep hearing in each other's voices things that these you know, people have not said or even been around to say. So, Like the first thing was the underwear and like, so the boyfriend was like, you told me that you wanted me to grab you under where I brought you underwear? And she was like I already had underwear. I didn't say anything, but whatever. And then the thing with like the ice cream, and like they were out of the house and the friend was like, wow, you two must have been, you know, having some pretty rough hanky panky because I heard you screaming and she was like, I we didn't.

We were out, and like then came home and immediately fell asleep. I have no idea what you're talking about. And then the two the female roommates were meditating and they heard talking outside their door. And then in the girl's voice, of the two girls's voice, here's one of them say like night in her voice, and she's sitting right there. That's fucking terrifying.

So what do you think? I say, leave the house? I say the house? Oh my emma, leave the house. Not worth it, not worth it?

Get out? What would you do? Yeah? No, it's fucking terrifying. I give this one an immediate up vote.

How the hell do you explain that good storytelling a very elaborate prank or good storytelling? The only thing I can think of is a very elaborate prank, and like maybe the boyfriend had just been like playing shit around the house and like being like you ust me to bring you underwear. It's too specific to be that. That's like way too specific. We both know that, right, Like, that's way that that that's like that's more implausible than it just being a mimic.

I I will say that it's if it is, like, you know, the boyfriend playing a very elaborate prank. That's extremely cruel, right, that's my point, Like, nobody would do that, I would hope. So I was a mimic a ghost, then, like what are they claiming? It's a spirit? It's a supernatural creature.

It's uh. I have heard of skinwalkers, but that's more like a physical that's like whendigoes and stuff like those are shape shifters. But that's not what they're talking about here. But yeah, no, an entity, I think, like the closest term would just be an entity, just a type of malevolent spirit or a spirit that just really likes fucking with people. So it's like a poulter geist.

So they're more saying like do we have a poulter Geist? I don't know, I mean, are we haunted? Yeah? Just sounds like it sounds like it. Yeah, for sure.

Like I give this one enough. I give this one enough. It's good. It's a good story. There is that.

I think it's too good of a story in a lot of ways. Like, I think the story is really good, which means the rough edge are not on this story the way they have been on some of the other ones. You notice that, Yeah, I mean I'm so I'm looking through some of the comments. I mean, like there's some this one has a lot of comments. Unfortunately, the top thing that I see is some asshole saying, well the Wicken part made it very clear, greatroll.

And so the original poster literally responded with how is my religion making me a troll? Which I mean I like bringing to light random people being harassed on the internet. Well, what does that have to do with anything? What? Because wickens not a religion, that's not that's not the case.

That's far from the case. Wiccan is actually can definitely seen as a religion. Now, yeah, like, fuck you people on the internet. Come on, But I want to see if there's anything else that. It's not the best story, but it's definitely the most thematic story that you have read.

I will say this one is possibly the scariest one. It could also just be that as it gets later at night, I'm getting more easily spooked. But I say this is probably the scariest one that I've read so far. Yeah, that's why. I mean, it's like the most thematic.

It's the one that has the most scariness to it. It feels genuinely scary, right Yeah, And I mean, like I reading it made me uncomfortable in a sense, and so that's why I'm just like, if it's gonna make me feel like that, I feel it at that point, like because I mean, like you can read like scary stories and watch like horror movies and it's like, all right, we get it. It's whatever for something to like actually make me nervous at that point. Yeah, So I mean, okay, so here we go. This is one person who responded, I love their user name, sexy snack.

That's a good name, right. There are several entities that can mimic and they tend to hang around people who have welcomed them into the house. It could be a demon or skinwalker. If you have an animal in the home, odds are shifting into whatever animal you have there in hiding. So see.

They also tend to remain hidden and avoid contact. The only way someone can have a skin walker on their asses if you have angered one and it is now stalking you. The demon thing, however, is easier to deal with the skinwalker not so much sing essentially a human using quantum physical to alter their appearance PS. Quantum physics is essentially the explanation to a lot of the paranormal shit. We see.

This is new the world or I mean this is when we were talking about that. Yeah, the world are really the universe is filled with large quality of things. Because our quantity of things we can't see or even understand get they exist well beyond our vision. And the original poster responds to be fair, if our kitty turned out to be a skinwalker, I'd still love him. Hey, I don't know, this person seems real, genuine.

I'm I'm giving this a bit big up a yeah, I mean, you know, she ruled out carbon monoxide, which could be a cause for hallucinations, same as the mold ruled both of that out. I mean, like I said, the only other thing I can think of is that this is just a very elaborate prank. Like with hearing her voice like outside it could potentially be the boyfriend playing or recording on his phone, you know, Like, I don't think it's that. I don't think it's that. Everything at face value, like I think it's I don't.

I don't know. If I had to assign a different meaning, I would say a very horrible elaborate prank. If this is all true, I'm honestly I'm leaning more towards it being paranormal of some sense rather than a prank. If like, if this story is one hundred and ten percent true, I'm leaning towards paranormal. That's fucking horrifying.

Yeah, well, I I completely agree. I think that this is probably on the paranormal scale. It's definitely. Again, if you take the story as legit, it's pretty scary. It's a scary story.

And it's I mean, if you if you were in your house and you were talking to your significant other and they were responding, and then you were like, hey, you remember when you responded and they were like, no, fucking terrified. If that kept happening, I would that's that's pretty scary stuff, right, work on some call in response with your wife, you know, right, all of a sudden, just an answer, you know. And that's the thing about something like this, Like we've all seen those movies, you know, Ghostbusters, Two Men. I mean, there's plenty of movies that have these call and answer sections where somebody calls out something and they get a response and they it's are an echo and then all of a sudden they call out and something happens and it's like hello, and then it's like like that shit scares me.

Yeah, that scares me, And that's like that's this in a lot of ways, Like it's just like, yeah, it's this is unsettling stuff. So do you have one that's on the same level or maybe a little bit more lighthearted to bring us home? No, I have one that is the the comments for this one, this is a lot of upboats from ten months ago, and this one is this one is pretty scary, So we're gonna we're gonna go out on a good one. This is a pretty long one too. So this is from the you slash WHISPI whiscuse me you slash whispyfied from ten months ago two point eight k up votes, and the title is our bizarre experiences with the forest behind our house eventually forced us to move out.

So that's I mean, they you go like that. That doesn't set the stage here, I don't know what does. So I was eight years old when we first moved into the house on the edge of the forest. My parents had their doubts about buying a house with a backyard bordered by forest. They had concerns about wild animals getting into our bins or hurting our dogs, and we were worried one of us might go too far into the trees and get lost, but it was cheap.

My dad liked the seclusion, my mom loved the house itself, and my siblings and I were excited about playing in the backyard and exploring the forest. Our first sign that something wasn't right was that our dogs were absolutely terrified of the four They never went into the forest for any reason. If a toy they'd been playing with found its way past the tree line, they would refuse to retrieve it, and when one of us went in, they would pace anxiously until we return. On occasion, we'd noticed the dogs staring at a spot in the forest and obvious distress, sometimes growling or barking, but we could never see anything there. My brother once carried one of the dogs into the trees to show that there was nothing scary about it, but she wriggled out of his grip and sprinted into the house in a panic.

If we were in the backyard when it was getting dark, we sometimes heard noises like someone was walking through the forest, sticks crunching underfoot, branches being pushed aside. If we called out, there was no response. But if we shined a flashlight around, we could occasionally catch a glimpse of just a split second of something that we could swear look like a person walking around in the dark. My parents quickly banned us from entering the forest at all after dark, and even during the day, we weren't allowed to go out of sight of the house. My sister's bedroom window looked out at the backyard and the forest beyond, and she remembers looking out her window one night and seeing a shadowy figure standing right at the edge of the backyard.

She says, there was something wrong with it, like it wasn't quite standing on the ground, and it was a little too tall to be a person, and it was sort of distorted, and she was convinced it was staring at her. She called out for our dad, saying there was a man in the yard staring through her window, and when she ran outside to chase off whoever it was, she continued to watch the figure. It didn't move away, but when the light from our dad's flashlight passed over it, it suddenly just wasn't there anymore. Oh No, we regularly heard knocking at the back door at night with no one there. Our parents thought it was teenagers playing pranks and stopped bothering even opening the door until one rainy night when the knocking was persistent and agitated.

My mother pointed out there might be someone kneeding shelter from the heavy rain outside, But when she opened the door, not only was there no one there, but there were no wet footprints on the porch. The knocking continued the whole time we lived there. It would happen several times in the span of a few weeks, and then stopped for months, then start up again. My parents eventually installed a security camera, and there was never anyone at the door. The camera wasn't all useless, though.

About three years into living there, my brother started having night terrors and sleepwalking. When he went sleepwalking, he would always go out the back door and start walking towards the forest. Now my mom, being a light sleeper, would hear the door open and would run out to get him before he made it into the forest. After the third or fourth time had happened, my brother asked to see the camera footage because he wanted to see how it looked when he was sleepwalking. I guess, thinking it had looked funny.

The footage showed him walking out onto the porch, then pausing as if listening to something and shaking his head, then reluctantly walking forward as if being pulled or forcefully guided by something. One evening, my dad was in the backyard and he heard my sister calling him from the forest, seemingly in distress. Thinking she'd gone exploring into the forest and fallen over and hurt herself. He ran in and started calling to her, but quickly realized it was too dark to see and he couldn't pinpoint where her voice was coming from. He told her to wait where she was while he grabbed a flashlight.

When he ran back into the house for the flashlight, he saw my sister inside, safe and completely unconcerned. At the time, my dad hadn't told us about hearing my sister's voice in the forest, so when I heard my mom's voice coming from the forest months later when I was outside with the dogs one evening, I didn't quite question it, despite the fact that I had just seen my mom inside recently and hadn't noticed her walked past me. My mom was calling to me, saying she'd got in her sweater caught in the branches and needed me to come in and help her. As I walked in, the dog started barking, alerting my dad, who saw me through the window wandering into the forest. He came outside and called to me, and I said I was just helping mom.

He held back that Mom was inside and I needed to run back to the house as fast as I could, which I did. After this, my parents had a fence built around the backyard and started looking for a new place. In the time between the fence being built and us moving out, it got way worse. We'd hear knocking at the door more frequently, as well as tapping on the windows, as if someone was walking the perimeter of the house and trying every window. We would often hear scratching and scraping sounds on the fence and voices beyond it.

My brother's night terrors got more frequent, and one night my mom didn't hear the door open when he went sleepwalking, and he woke up standing at the fence, staring into the forest with the dogs barking at him. The last morning we spent there, less than four years after we moved in, we woke up to find the back door fully open and the security camera footage showed it slowly swung open on its own. Since moving out, my brother's sleepwalking has stopped, though he still gets the night terrors and he suffers from pretty severe anxiety. A few nights ago, he called me out of the blue, and after a bit of small talk, he asked me if I think the door being opened the final night means whatever was out there finally got in.

He's trying to make light of it, saying he was getting into the spirit of Halloween, joking about how maybe we should all get exercised just in case something latched onto all of us years ago. But I think he's deeply bothered by everything that happened. I know I still am a little. I still get nervous around dark wooded areas. I don't know what I was thinking out there in the forest behind our house that one night, but I get the feeling, given the chance, it would have swallowed a whole It's really really good.

Shit, Like it's so good, it's such a good story that it's no way it's real. There's no That's what I was honestly like, she what I mean, like this is this is too well ridden. It's too good, it's too enthralling, like what what point were you? Just like, oh my god, like this is fake, like it's at some point it sounds like a movie. Yeah exactly.

And I was thinking that, oh god, what point was it? It was? It was I think it was like when the sister had seen it outside and the dad like yeah, I think that was like really like the okay, like terrifying but like okay, like yeah, I would be fucking terrifying. But at the same time, like that's very thematic of you and like very like very cinematic too, like oh and I had to flash that I passed it over a minute it disappeared like oh man, yeah, it's terrifying. Like don't get me wrong, like that is scary stuff.

I too scary, you know. It sucks. It was that I have a large forest behind my house as well, right, oh my god, I'm no way I do, I really do. It's not like a large forest, but like it's it's a wooded forest. It's a wooded area and not me like basically imagining my own home throughout this story, because that's not good.

That's like manifesting no no number one. Well, that's the thing, like where my cousin lives, Where my cousin lives in Saint Louis and my kind of my dad's family. They back up to a like that. When I was reading this story, that's where I was imagining, because like they back right up to like a forest forest, like what you're talking about. It's like that forest, but it's like a wooded area and there's no houses behind it.

So it's just like I will say, luckily there are houses. It's like, uh, it's like, okay, so my house is nobody can say this. My house is here, and like we have like a backyard, and then it's like forests and then somebody else's backyard and house, and like that's sort of sort of like that, and so that there's houses here as well, so like it sort of like borders our property. It's not it's not infinite, right, So like there's like this story where it's like probably there's a couple acres of trees or something. So like I guess that helps a little, but not much.

Well, you know that at some point on the other ends of the woods there's going to be another house luckily, right, I mean I again with my where my cousin lives, I have no idea. I like I said, I will tell you that this story when I read it, like and when I was reading it now in my dark office, like, it's pretty spooky and has some of the it has you know, shadow creatures and you know people you know, hearing noises at night, and then the it's got the mimic thing, like that was, It's got the whole mimic thing. That's why I wanted to do this one after you read that one, because I was like, Okay, I had a selection of them, but I wanted to reinforce the mimic thing because man, that's scary stuff. I think the hearing somebody that you care about and finding out that it's not them, especially like when they are right there right right, yeah, is like it's one thing like if they were like I was out of town, Like that's also scary, but like hearing their voice when they're like in the room over and knowing that like you think I heard your voice or outside, but I was you were in the kitchen the whole time.

That's that's worse. That's worse to me somehow, or like you're sitting in the living room and you hear them in the kitchen. Then all of a sudden they walk through the front door and you're just like what the fuck? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, like stuff like that's real scary, Like that's scary, and like that's what this story kind of I don't know. I was trying to think, you know, because like I asked you, like, what's the part where you kind of were like, oh, this is fake as hell?

For me, it was like when the dad was like I heard the sister in the woods and I went out there and she was like. That's when I was like, man, this is so fake because you know why, because it's so scary. Like that's like, it's just too scary if this is real. You know, actually you know what it is. If this were real, there's no fucking way you would have stuck around this long.

Yeah, we're knocking on the windows every night and scratching and shit like this shit it sounds like a repost from our slash No Sleep. Honestly, it kind of does, doesn't it. And just like the title I'm not going to sleep, Yeah it's no. That's the thing, Like it's scary and it's it kind of traffics in a lot of things that I think are scary, which is when it goes, it kind of has like a skin walkery. This is like a skin walkery thing more than your story is, because this is like just disembodied voices, right, creatures in the woods, and you know, like, oh, I could have swallowed this whole, like yeah, fuck, it could have like it could have been a monster, like and you know when it goes, you know eat people, they eat human flesh.

So I mean, yeah, that's scary. That's a That's a good premise for a movie, isn't it. Like I would watch this movie, you know it would be cool, right, Like it would be a good premise for a movie. You want to know what's funny? Though, I feel like this might be like the first episode that we've done that I really feel like these are scary stories we tell, Yeah this is scary.

This is a like this is a really like that's a scary story. Like even if it's not real, like it's pretty fucking scary. It's enough to make me want to run up my stairs when I go to bed tonight. Like for sure, I was like you saw me looking around when I was reading, Like it was, oh, are you are you seeing me? On the other end, like fucking like fuck, it's and that's the thing like it has it has all the hallmarks of stuff that's really scary, like the brothers sleep walking, you know, it's sleepwalking in the door opening and we built a we built a you know, a backyard fence to keep us keep the thing out.

And then all the dogs are parking all the time. It's like every single thing, there's like a they're check in every box. They missed one, they missed one. What was what did they missed? The birds hitting the windows?

No? No, the toddler that's seeing things. Oh yeah yeah, they're like adult children in this. So yeah, it's like mommy, mommy, I saw blah blah blah playing with my invisible friend. Yeah yeah, they did that in Amityville and they've yeah and like conjuring and everything I saw them.

They're playing with me. It's like, this is a fucking horrifying like run no, oh my god, that was As I told you, these were scary, really like horrifying stuff. Goodness, you know what, And that's my question to you. Here's my question to you as we close this episode. How long what would you have?

What would it take for you to leave a house that's haunted. What would it take? Because these people in some of these stories that we've read, like in this last one, like these people were on the precipice of hell and that's what it took for them to leave. Like that kid. If that kid almost if that, you know, if that kid actually was being lured in by something in the woods, he could have died.

YEA. I would venture to say, it has to be more than a can of soda on my chair. It's fair, but significantly less than hearing voices of people I care about that don't belong to them, I say. I would say that it would take a lot less. Like if it was like a one or two time thing and it never happened again, I'd be like, all right, fine, But if it was like happening over the span of like even three days, I would book it to my boyfriend's house asap and be like, Mom, Dad, please don't die while I'm gone.

Let me know if this continues, because I can't fucking be here right now where I will lose my shit. I have a very low tolerance. I think, like I love joking and like reading you know, paranormal shit, like I've said I've never really had a paranormal experience, but like I am definitely the person that can like freak myself out. And like if this ship were happening, Like there was like one point where like I was like sleeping. I was much younger.

I think I was like high school age, and I was like slipping in my room and I was hearing like a lot of scuffling sounds and it was like it was like keeping me up, and I was like, so I was like hiding under my covers kind of shit, and like my dad was like, yeah, I know, we have mice in the walls, and like even that like wound up having to put in a couple of traps and everything was fine. But like that just hearing like scuffling sounds and my walls, that was more than enough that if that kept happening and we'd like set up traps and like nothing stopped or slowed down and it got like worse, it wouldn't take me like more than a fucking week to book it. It's fair. What about you, what's your capacity?

I think that I mean, i think I'm in the same boat as you, Like you know, I think my capacity is a little higher, given that I have had things happen in this house to me and there, I mean, I have seen things in the basement of this house. I'll go on. I know you told me that I've said it before. I'll repeat it here for new listeners who may have been maybe just now finding our show. If you don't want to have to go and sift through the old episodes, I'll tell this little ditty right here at least a little part.

There's Chris gets ghosted. Is there's an episode on your show, there's an episode on my show. Ghosts into those episodes if you want to hear us talking more ad nauseum about this. But there was a point when I had returned from the Zach Begins on a museum adventure that I took in twenty eighteen with a friend of mine where I went to Las Vegas and Los Angeles on a road trip. We got back here passed out.

We drove like twenty eight hours straight, and next day we're hanging out in our basement playing rock band. That's something that I like to do. And the basement you can have lights, some of the lights on, some of the lights off. I have the lights all controlled in our house by a Google Home and some of the lights. One of the lights was on, so it was kind of casting light against the wall.

But there's like a shadow in the hallway and I'm standing in the center of the room and i can kind of see the hallway, and I keep seeing something out the corner of my eye standing in the fucking hallway, and it's just and I said something to my friend. I was like, John, I am seeing something out of the corner of my eye. And this is after we and again, I don't you know the Zach Bigins haunt a museum. We spoke about it on our Cursed Objects episode, so we've talked about kind of some of the things there maybe aren't on the level folks, but whatever, you know, that's that's beside the point. But there are some things there that have to be haunted.

Just by sheer, sheer number of things. Something there has to be haunted. And we had some kind of weird experience one of my friends after he saw us when we were in Los Angeles. His chair in his office that's like a million pounds and impossible to move, moved on its own apparently, and was like in a weird spot in his office when he came home, which is legit actually happened, and he was like, Hey, I think something weird happened at my place. This is within like two days of us leaving Vegas, and I kind of had, you know, a strange experience with the museum, but kind of an experience with this mirror.

And the mirror has kind of been debunked. But again, like I can't disprove what I saw. I could just say that the mirror has been debunked, but I know what I saw. And then you know, this whole stuff happens when we get back, and it's just like it should follow you. I don't know.

And that's the thing, you know, like this tell me the story you didn't tell me in the order of you went to the museum and then everything went out right, Because I don't want to give that museum the power of that, because I don't want to find that. I don't want to think it's that. But at the same time like to leave that part of the story out as to not do the story as service. But I don't want to give him that credit given that we talked about it on the Cursed Objects episode. You know what I mean enough, because I can't say it's not that, but I kind of don't want to give someone else credit in it possibly being that, you know what I mean.

So if that had gone on for another few days, would that have been enough for you to say, like I'm not I'm just going to leave for a while. Well, see that's the question, right, because seeing like a shadow thing out of the corner of your eye is scary, but it's not enough. It's I didn't have any interactions with it. It's get walked up to me. It's not like, again, it could have just been something out of the corner of my eye for all I know.

I mean, I'm not one to discount even the most simplistic of explanations, like literally just you're seeing something out of the corner of your eye. So I mean to say it couldn't be that just boringly, I think is not out of the realm of possibility. But at the same time, like I've had other things happen in this house that I can't as easily explain away, So kind of as a package, as a portfolio of hauntings, I think they kind of all work in tandem as kind of like I think there is something. I don't know what it is. It's been a while, it's been rather quiet, you know, knock on.

I mean, we'll see if after tonight it picks back up. Yeah. And that's the thing, Like, it's one of those things where now that I'm thinking about it, like am I going to manifest it happening? Because that I kind of feel like there's a possibility of that too. I got to take a moment to imagine a white light around you or some shit.

I've read that before. I like how you were really sincere there for a second and then just went away. That I think is for me the big takeaway, Like the story is so good because it has like it's not just one thing. It's you know, there's a shadow person, and then there's a creature in the woods, and then there's the creature that they see with the flashlight. And then there's the brothers sleepwalking, which is kind of like the odd like curveball that they throw in for seemingly no reason that the story, Yeah, it kind of works like because it's again like the stakes of like the brother going into the woods on his own.

How many people were calling a fake in the comments, Oh, it's that's the funny thing, like I was. The next question I wanted to ask you was how many people do you think actually bought this one? Because more than you thought nobody. Most people are like, it's really good, so it's fake, Like most people are like fake fake, like fake. Some people spell out fake all letters, like fake with spaces.

I mean, there are plenty of people that are like have you seen this? Like this is might what be what's happening? But like I think the majority of people are like, this is really good. And like you said, yours was a r slash No Sleep, Like this is like put this on no Sleep, my god, like you'll you'll run like in the karma big time. Honestly, maybe they didn't.

It just didn't get the love it deserves, so they put it on Wearanormal instead. I mean again like it's it's a really good story and they're really creative. So there is that. That account's been suspended. So I don't know whispified is Whispified is in the wind.

Ten months ago, this was a big thing on the on the r slash Paranormal. I mean, it's got it's got a lot of comments, it's got a lot of comments, three hundred and forty three comments, two point eight k up votes. I mean, holy shit, that's the most of anything we've talked about so far. I think the one that I read two is uh did pretty well actually, and it was only like, this was six days ago. So the mimic one that I read to you, yeah, six days ago, one hundred and ninety six comments.

That's pretty good. And it's kind of in the same ballpark. I think they're kind of they trade in the same scare of like the unknown beckoning you with the known. I mean, that's very scary stuff. Oh that's a good way to put That's a really good way to put it.

Yeah, but that's what it is, right, It's like, you know, oh you don't come. You know, it's like the troll under the bridge. I don't know, it's very it's like a harpie or like a siren, I guess, like you know, beckoning you onto the rocks of your own demise. Like I like that that is very scary. But I mean maybe that one you told maybe is a little bit more believable.

But they're both like very very they're like soaked in something that's like I've heard this story. I've seen this story. There are people who have done this story in film, and yet it's still is fucking horrifying. I mean that's and that's the thing. It's like not to take away from anything about you know, like where it came from or who made it or what were the intentions or the validity, but it is scary stuff like it is.

This is pure octane terror one, Like, this is scary, and I don't get scared by stuff. But even I was like, oh, let's say you put yourself in. I mean, it's the way that these are written too. I mean that's the thing, Like, you know, we're reading them for you, so you don't have to read them yourself really, but the way that these are written are always in the first person, and so it's like you're there listening to them recounting it to you. And that's so scary because like it's just you.

Like some of these, the conviction of the author comes through more than others. And even though this one is like fake quote unquote or at least I'm not going to go out on a limb and say this happened, you can, the conviction of the author is there, right, which I appreciate, you know, they're very like, oh my god, like this is so terrifying. But I don't know this was these I don't know. I think these last two are pretty they're pretty good. They're good, but there's no I don't know they're Which of the two yours is probably more realistically real?

Yeah? Oh yeah. I mean like at that point with the one that you read out like a government safety zone or some shit, like, I feel like the army would find it and fucking like rope it off. It's not the family if it's not the house and it's the family, right, like if they moved, but that's what they said, Like they moved and things stopped happening. So if someone else goes into that house and these things keep happening again, like you said, like somebody needs to get involved, Yes, honestly, but I think I think that's all I can take for one night.

I'm with you. These are a little much like for a little for how kind of for how kind of like the last episode of this ended like this one kind of took a very wasn't expecting it. We really got into it. I hope you're enjoying this series. It was a really fun one to do on my old show, So I'm really glad that we were able to revive it.
